Team 7 was resting on Tazuna's house on which they also met Tazuna's daughter, a young woman in her 20s named Tsunami. Kakashi thanked for the hospitality shown, and while at that he remembered before fainting after his battle with Zabuza about the mysterious hunter-nin. Hunter-nins are sent to capture missing-nin and dispose of the bodies to make sure that jutsus (nin, dojutsu, etc.) won't be used against their village. Also the hunter-nin from before actually was in league with Zabuza due to the use of senbon needles, which when used correctly can cause to the victim a temporary death like state.

(In a forest)

The masked hunter-nin appeared carrying Zabuza's body and taking him to a clear point. The hunter-nin then says, "First I'll take off the bandages and then I'll drain his blood." Just as when he was about to do so, a hand stopped the hunter-nin to see that it was indeed Zabuza who stopped the hunter-nin.

"Don't bother, I'll do it myself," Zabuza said to the hunter-nin.

"So you're already awake, that's a relief Zabuza," said the hunter-nin.

"Haku, what the hell were you thinking," asked Zabuza.

The masked nin now named Haku says, "You're the one to talk, Zabuza. If you can keep fighting in such a reckless way, you will definitely die."

Zabuza scoffs but nods understanding at Haku and then asks, "So how long are you going to keep that mask of yours?"

Haku says, "I have tender memories with this mask. It was also useful in tricking those ninjas." Haku takes off the mask and happens to be a young, beautiful boy and around the age or if not slightly older than our group of genins. Haku says, "If I hadn't interfered at that moment, you'd already be dead. I'm sure of it."

Zabuza responds to her, "Putting me on a death-like state was a smart idea, but throwing those senbon needles. You're cruel as always, Haku."

Haku says, "Luckily I aimed to the neck, so the impact wouldn't be harsh. Just try to not move around so much. You should be able to recover fully in a week."

"You're so pure, innocent, and smart. A rare combination, that's why I have you at my side," says Zabuza.

"I'm still a boy what do you expect Zabuza?"

(Tazuna's house)

Kakashi is with his team, and has a few things to say.

"Listen since Zabuza will take about a week to return I could start your training, with chakra control," said Kakashi.

Sakura says, "Chakra control?"

Kakashi nods and then says, "With great chakra control, you'll have better chance during missions. First, you all know what chakra is?"

Sakura nods, "Yes chakra is the form of energy and is necessary for even the most basic jutsus like doing clone and to cast genjutsu. It is to mould the physical energy present in every cell of the body and the spiritual energy gained from the mind."

Kakashi nods and says, "Well for now we'll go outside."

(Forest outside Tazuna's house)

Kakashi says, "We'll start by climbing trees."

Sakura confused at this says, "Climbing trees, but we know how to climb trees."

Kakashi says, "You'll climb trees without your hands, only with your feet. The trick to climb trees is to use the correct quantity of chakra to your feet. Not too much but not too little."

Naruto (Kitsune) started remembers tree climbing like it was yesterday.

(Flashback)

Hanzo Hasashi known as Scorpion was training his apprentice in old, abandoned training grounds of the Shirai Ryu clan.

"Okay my apprentice you have learned so far on how to fight hand to hand, shuriken throwing, kunai, and stealth. This next lesson is about climbing trees."

Naruto (Kitsune) asked, "Climbing trees? Isn't that done with the hands?"

Scorpion shakes his head, "No. What I mean is to climb just with your feet. Watch and observe."

The apprentice watched on how Scorpion just with his feet climbed the tree effortlessly.

Now the master encouraged for his apprentice to try, but at that moment he just fell off.

"Well, not everyone can do it in the first try."

The boy kept trying over for hours, and actually he managed to get at least to the middle.

Scorpion then senses a strange mixture of two energies inside his apprentice. He learned from here that this energy was called chakra.

So, Scorpion told him to try to put the chakra on his feet not too little and not too much either to climb the tree better.

Eventually Naruto mastered to climb trees in few tries more.

Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura all climb trees, but only the masked, blond ninja and the kunoichi could do it better. Naruto could have climbed the tree at once but well deception is the way of the ninja to not let anyone know yet that he was already good, while Sakura's chakra control was nearly perfect and climbed at once. Sasuke fell off for using too much chakra.

Our three shinobi kept practicing in climbing trees until night.

Kakashi was there overseeing their training and could see that both the blond and the last Uchiha had the most chakra reserves and skill wise. While the young kunoichi had the better chakra control her chakra reserves and stamina were low due to not training enough and not having a well, balanced diet.

(Back at Tazuna's house)

The ninjas were eating dinner along with Tazuna, Tsunami, and the bridge builder's grandson Inari who had a scowl on his face and an emo like personality. The kid had actually been angry since his grandfather already hired these ninjas, but now seeing them was making even pissed off.

Kitsune took a while to look a picture on a table which looked to be more a family picture with Tazuna, Tsunami, Inari, and also another male who looked around the same age as Tsunami. Inari looked in the picture actually happy.

"Why are you still here," asked the angry child.

Kitsune says, "We're just here to accomplish our mission in protecting our client that happens to be your grandfather."

Inari then responds, "Why don't you go away and don't return here? You can't complete your so called mission and not even defeat Gato. Gato is strong and will annihilate anyone who stands in his way. No one can defeat him."

The young blond ninja counters, "Probably must be some fat pig who uses his resources like money to hire cheap thugs. He will probably piss on his pants when he's all alone and no one's there to protect that slob."

Inari then had it with the ninja in the red and black outfit and whines, "Seriously stop with that act okay. You don't even know this country and what we've been going through. You're no heroes, and if all of you face against Gato you'll be dead. You probably were just pampered children and lived luxurious lives in your cozy homes. You don't anything about pain."

The moment the whiny kid said that everyone felt an ominous wind that felt really cold in the room. That ominous wind came from Kitsune. Kitsune was between cool, calm, but also pissed off at hearing the crybaby say such words.

The blond ninja was angry but still calm since his master taught him to have control of his emotions and not let them get the best of you. He says, "Ninjas are not heroes at all. You want to talk about life. I learned that life isn't fair, but who said it would be? There are people in this entire world who have it as bad as you kid if not worse. You still have a kind, caring mother who prepares you meals like this every day and a grandfather who tries his best to support in providing you a better life by rescuing his country, but you take them for granted. Talking about family, I was born an orphan. I don't know what it's like to be surrounded in a warm environment like a family at all. Also you think crying is the solution to everything? Fight and keep fighting to the very end, but if you what you did wasn't good enough then you can cry. Now if you excuse me I would like to be outside for a while."

Sakura says, "Sensei is it true on what he said?"

Kakashi says, "Yes it is Sakura. Kids end up orphaned due to the dark lifestyle on being a ninja."

Sasuke thinks, "He is just like me. He has known what is like being alone and isolated. Still I'm not going to let anyone else surpass me until I finally kill Itachi."

(Later in the night)

Kitsune was in the forest outside training with the shuriken and kunai. While training, Kitsune was interrupted by a looming, dark voice inside trying to communicate with him.

"Kit, Kit can you hear me?"

Kitsune asks, "What do you want fur ball?"

"You're so funny you little kit, don't you forget who you're talking to?"

"You're the terrible Nine Tailed Demon Fox. The beast that devastates mountains and causes tsunamis with a flick of the tails, I know."

"Ha very funny," says Kurama. "So nice things you said to that kid. With this he can get a reality changer of how hard life really is."

"It's not a big deal. What I said was the true. Besides, the kid can't just focus on his own pain when his own mother and grandfather are also suffering."

"You've become quite a host for the last few years, but don't think of this that I care about you kit."

"Yeah, it's about getting your hands or in this case claws on that Uchiha who used his ocular jutsu on you, take a chill Kurama. G'night."

A young man in his 30s with goatee dressed yellow and red robes with black pants was overseeing from a throne room. The man was using dark sorcery to have a vision of future events yet to come. Also there was huge towering man, who had a half human and half dragon appearance with four arms. He was named Goro.

There were three beautiful and dangerously looking females and each one was wearing a different colored bustier. One woman had long, silky raven hair with fair skin and wearing a cerulean blue bustier. Her name was Kitana. Another woman had also black hair but with tan skin and wearing a green skin tight outfit, and this woman was Jade. The last woman was like a mirror image of the first woman except for her golden yellow eyes and her shoulder length hair, also was wearing a magenta skin tight outfit. This last woman was Mileena.

"I can sense great power coming from this young boy," says the sorcerer.

"How much power is that you are sensing Lord Shang Tsung," asks the human/dragon hybrid.

"Prince Goro of the Shokans, through the use of my dark sorcery, it seems that the boy has a beast of great and feared power sealed inside him and if this boy can reach his potential he could even battle against the Emperor on equal terms."

The woman in blue, "That's impossible. There are only three who can match or even surpass the Emperor in skill and power you sorcerer, Quan Chi, and even Lord Shinnok."

Shang Tsung responds, "Its true princess Kitana, but we better stay on guard. Even there could be few mortals can overcome the odds if they train hard and a little wretched thing they call hope. Even this Earthrealm warrior Liu Kang can become a threat to the Emperor's goal of uniting the realms into Outworld if left unchecked. I've been watching over a few years on this realm that has a resemblance like the Feudal Japan that the Elder Gods call the Elemental Nations." Shang Tsung was saying on how the nations have smaller villages settled and their military strength is composed of ninjas that can manipulate the powers of nature which the elements of nature are: Fire, Lightning, Water, Wind, and Earth.

The woman in green asks, "What should we do Princess?"

Kitana says, "How about we infiltrate as spies in any of those villages as spies and when the moment is right we capture that youngster that puzzles Shang Tsung?"

Mileena says childishly, "I was about to suggest that 'sister'."

Kitana was annoyed by being called sister by Mileena, and so was Jade due to Mileena's antics.

Shang Tsung says, "Brilliant coming from the Emperor's daughter and next in line." Also this had a hint of sarcasm.

First of all, I apologize if this chapter was a tad shorter than what you had expected. But I give you a first glimpse of some of the MK klassic kharacters like Shang Tsung, Goro, Kitana, Mileena and Jade. Quan Chi and Shinnok had small references, since those two are of the most evil in the MK franchise. Unless there is someone even more evil than those two.

I have been working on new stories, plus college studies, spending time with the family.

I've decided that yes I'll have the Edenian females join in one of the villages somehow, so they can interact at some point with the blond Jinchuriki. That D'vorah from the new games I haven't thought about that, but I could think that she might be better paired with a certain known bug user if given the thumbs up.

The harem is still the same as in last chapter.
