Author's Note: I want to apologize for not updating in months. To tell you the truth, I didn't know I had people who read this so I focused on school and band and summer. I've read all of y'all's comments and thank y'all for the support. If you have any suggestions for me to edit anything then please tell me so I can become a better writer. Thank you! Next thing I knew, some blonde girl came up and started talking to Light. "Li~ight!" she squealed. "Misa" Light said back. He gave me a look then looked back to her. What was that for? That was the beginning of when I saw Misa Amane.

"Misa," Light said in a confused look, "What are you doing here?" L and I stood beside them awkwardly, not knowing what to do. I felt something sting my chest. It felt like someone was just squeezing my heart. "I had a photo shoot nearby and I wanted to come see you," Misa responded to Light's question. She had a high voice and seemed very cheerful, even though she was dressed in dark, exposing clothing. I would never be able to pull that off. After looking at Misa and how she had a perfect body, I looked at myself and realized that compared to her, I was very tomboyish.

"Is this your friend, Light? He looks...unique." Misa stated focusing on L.

"Uh, Misa, this is Hideki Ryuga." Light introduced. Misa looked at the top of L's head for some reason and had a confused look to her. Light stood in front of L and blocked the view of him from Misa. "He has the same name as the pop-star. Weird, right?" Light seemed nervous as he said this. He glanced at me from the corner of his eye. I'm not in this.

"Oh, well hello. My name is Misa Amane, Light's girlfriend." A wave of pain hit my chest hard. The word "girlfriend" really stung for some reason. Light didn't seem like he was denying this either. What is this pain that I am feeling? Was this jealousy? No, I can't be jealous. Light seemed like a womanizing guy anyways. He would never be faithful. Plus, I'm not looking into being in a relationship. So, this is good. But if that's so, then why do I fell hurt?

"Light," everybody paused to look at the detective, "You are a very lucky guy. I have been a big fan of yours." Why did this hurt me more? Bruh, what is going on with me?

"Thank you; you are very kind." Misa replied. "And you are?" She pointed her focus towards me. I thought she didn't notice me.

"Alex Winters," I said truthfully, "Nice to meet you." As Misa was about to say something, a girl recognized her and shouted her name out. Very soon, a crowd started forming around us and I was pushed out. I crawled through the legs of the people to get back in. When I did, Misa screamed, "Ah, someone just touched my butt!" I looked around for anybody who looked suspicious and the only person standing directly behind her with the "do you think she noticed" face on was none other than panda man. Shame on you, L.

He ran around to the front of her. "This is a disgrace. I will find whoever is responsible for this."

"Oh, Ryuga. You're funny." Misa giggled. Everybody laughed while L had a sheepish face on. Inside, I smacked him for inappropriately touching Light's girlfriend, but it was kind of funny. Suddenly, a woman walked into the crowd and started to drag Misa out.

"Come on. You're going to be late for your next photo shoot." She sounded harsh. I'm glad I'm not a model.

"Oh, okay. Bye Alex and Ryuga. It was nice meeting you. Bye Light; I'll see you soon." They got into a car and drove away from the university. I felt relief. I looked at Light and noticed him looking right back at me. Blushing, I turned around to see L looking at me too. Is there something on my face?

"Well, that was exciting. I'm going to go get some cake now if you two want to join." L said starting to turn around to walk away. I started to follow him until I heard Light.

"Actually, you two go on ahead. I have to use the restroom." As Light stated this, he seemed like he had an evil, dark aura around him. As L and I started going towards the cafeteria, L's phone rang. It had a male pop-star's song playing as the ringtone. The phone was pink, as well. Well I never knew this side of L. He answered the phone in his usual monotone voice.

"Hello. Oh, Light, is that you?" I turned towards Light who was only a few yards behind us turned around the other way. I heard his voice on the other line.

"Yeah, that's Misa's phone. I can give it back to her." That's when I came to realization. Misa squealed and said someone had touched her butt in the crowd. Was that L trying to get her phone? Why did he want it? Light came our way and took the phone from L.

"Misa just left and you are calling her already? You two must truly love each other." L said in amazement. Well, as much amazement as you would be able to see a poker-faced detective with a monotone voice have. Suddenly, L's phone started ringing. "Hmm, hopefully this one is mine." L stated. "Hello." he answered the silver phone. "Yes? Ah, thank you." He hung up. "I'm sorry to tell you this, but Misa Amane has been detained for being accused of being the second Kira. We found hair on the videos that were aired, as well as clothing." L told Light.

Light looked horrified. I guess I would be too if my boyfriend, in Light's case girlfriend, was the second Kira.

Alex's POV

L and I were back at the hotel. Right now, Misa is tied up in an uncomfortable position. There are cameras in the isolated room in which she is held at, and L watches her 24/7. Kind of creepy. I was just watching outside of the window and next thing I knew, Light was coming through the doors.

"Ryuzaki, I think I may be Kira." Everybody looked at Light crazily as he said this. Is he telling the truth? "There's been times where I think that criminals deserve to die.

"Wait, Light, there's been times where I thought criminals deserve to die, but that doesn't mean I would go out and kill them." Matsu stated.

"Since I can think like Kira, how do I know that I'm not him, though? I don't remember killing anybody, but I could be killing in my sleep."

"That's impossible," L cut in, "You probably don't know this, but we've set up cameras and wire taps in your house and you slept throughout the whole night."

"Cameras and wire taps? That's illegal. Anyways, I don't know if I'm Kira or not, but if I am then I would like to know. Could you please detain me as well?" We all were surprised and very confused.

"Light!" Mr. Yagami tried to cut in.

"No, Dad, this is what I want." Light explained.

"If this is what you desire, then I'll follow through with this. Watari, please take Light behind bars." Watari did what L asked. We all watched the screen as we saw both Light and Misa in jail. Light wasn't tied up, though. His hands were cuffed and he had a bed.

"Ryuzaki, please detain me, too. I can't sit here and watch my son in this state." This came a shock to everyone, but L understood Mr. Yagami's reasons, so he was to be detained as well. His was also different. He could move freely, but he was still behind bars. His phone also remained on and he was updated on the investigation. I stopped and looked at all three of them.

This was the start of the imprisonment.
