Hello,
I think I lost some viewers and reviewers for that month I was MIA. Some of them still here. Well, I will be posting three chapters, this one being the first. How I had this story set up was for it to skip right to the part where Kakashi comes back, but I think my fans would want to know what happens while he's away. So these three chapters are fillers. Doing an anime moment. Don't you hate when they're in the middle of a good fight, and some unknown, well probably not, person shows up. Then the show goes into fillers that last about fifteen episodes before getting back on track.
Also a little clarity for those who reviewed. Kakashi will not be pissed. Yes, this is sort of a love triangle. Kakashi's coming up soon. You'll find out about Sakura soon too. I think that's all.
Well enough of that. Here's part one of the filler chapters.
Chapter Thirteen Part One: Hiya Hitman
A constant ringing knocked the whiskered blonde out her dream. She turned over trying to get comfortable and fall back to sleep. She was in the middle of an ramen eating contest and was a bowl away from winning, but that blasted ringing wouldn't shut up. Naruko snaked a tan arm from under her covers and lazily searched for her alarm clock. Finally getting a good grip on it, she threw it sending it crashing into the wall. Satisfied, she rolled back over drifting back to her wonderful slumber.
She was almost there when her bedroom door suddenly opened shining a dim light in the room. Footsteps sounded off in the room, but didn't come near her bed. She knew who it was and exactly where he was going. The curtains to the huge window were drawn back letting the radiant sunlight into the room. Naruko whimpered and threw her orange covers over her head.
A light laugh was heard, "Come on, dobe, get up."
"Five more minutes, teme" Naruko mumbled turning away from him.
Sasuke walked over to her bed grabbing the covers and pulling on them. Naruko fell off the bed along with her tangled mess of covers and hit the floor. All Naruko knew was she was seeing ramen then she was eating carpet, literally. Her cerulean eyes snap open, and she jumped up from the covers.
"Teme!" she yelled at him.
Sasuke was already out the door running down the halls when her yell sounded off throughout the hall. Naruko saw that and ran out into the hall catching raven hair rounding the corner. Naruko ran after him yelling about what she was going to do to him when she caught him.
Sasuke stopped to catch his breath when he was sure he had lost her. His mansion was big enough to get lost in if you were just visiting there. A yell snapped Sasuke out his thoughts and snapped his head to the left seeing a yellow blur come towards him. Naruko crashed into him sending them tumbling down the stairs. They landed in the foyer with Sasuke on top of Naruko. They looked at each other then burst out laughing. After their laughter subsided, Sasuke stared down at Naruko and planted a kiss on her.
He pulled away, "Naruko, I love you."
Naruko stared into his obsidian eyes seeing all the love they held in them just for her. She didn't know what to say. Sure, Sasuke was the first man she loved and the first man to break her heart, but he still had a place in her heart. Now, she also had Kakashi in her heart, and as long as he was here, she didn't see Sasuke fitting back in. She needed to see how Kakashi fit in because she still wasn't sure about him.
She opened her mouth to say something, but her stomach growled loudly. "I fixed breakfast for you"
"Ramen?" Naruko asked excitedly.
Sasuke got up and stretched out a hand and helped Naruko up, "Yes."
Naruko ran to the kitchen devoring her ramen while Sasuke ate eggs and bacon. Once done, Naruko took a quick shower and got dressed in a simple blue blouse, black pencil skirt, and black pumps. Sasuke came in and fixed her outfit and put her hair in neat bun.
"I swear you act more like my mother than my husband" Naruko commented.
"Somebody needs to help you" was Sasuke's reply.
Naruko sat in the comfy chair behind her desk handling her paperwork. Yeah, she was doing her paperwork, well more like making origami with it. A smile appeared on her face as she finished folding her piece into an airplane. It was all she need to put her plan in action. Naruko threw the paper airplane at the other occupant in her office who was reading some boring, in Naruko'e opinion, book. The airplane hit Itachi in the side of the head before falling to the floor.
A perfect eyebrow raised, "Naruko, what are you doing?" Taking notice to all the paper figures on her desk, the other eyebrow raised, "You just folded all your paperwork"
"I was bored" Naruko humped her shoulders like it was no big deal.
Itachi got up from his seat, "I'll go ask the secretary for more copies." With that he was out the door.
Naruko smirked as everything was going smoothly. She kicked off her black pumps and let her hair down. She rolled the sleeves of her shirt up and unbottoned a couple of buttons. She got up from her chair and opened her door. She peeped out the door then walked out down the hall. She had reached the end of the hall when Itachi screamed and hid.
"Naruko!" came the yell from a fuming Itachi inside Rasengan Corps.
Well, it wasn't a regular day at Rasengan Corps. The building usually was quiet, but now everyone was laughing and watching their boss prank the Uchiha heir. The employees watched as their boss ran down the halls in an unprofressional manner playing cat and mouse with the heir to the Uchiha company. They were shocked to say the least. For the past three weeks, she was quiet but held authority. Now, she was bouncing off the walls with laughter and playing like a little kid.
The said woman threw her hand to her mouth to supress a giggle. She peeped around the corner to see a stoic Itachi covered in red paint and glitter from head to toe. Through his Uchiha demeanor, she could see the fustration and anger in his red eyes. Naruko supressed another giggle. It was so darn easy to rile up an Uchiha, in her opinion because she was the only one who could do it.
"Naruko, this isn't funny" Itachi said clearly hearing her laughter echo through the halls.
"You'll never catch me, Itachi" Naruko laughed running from her hiding spot further down the halls ignoring the amused and weird looks she was receiving.
Itachi scowled, "Naruko, you are disobeying orders."
Forget orders! I'm trying to leave this place for a couple hours.
The blonde ran down the hall dodging any oncomers and the many traps she set up along the way. The door was just inches away, and she would be free. Sitting behind a desk all day wasn't for her. She needed some freedom, but the council wasn't having it. If she could run off to Suna, she could at least run away from work once.
As soon as she reached the door, it swung open. The very person she was hoping not show up just entered her business. Naruko cursed under her breathe as she lost track of time. It was just her luck to get caught seconds before her escape.
"Naruko, what is the meaning of this?" Sasuke asked raising a perfect eyebrow at her dissheveled appearance.
"Uhh hey Sasuke, is it 12:30 already?" Naruko asked not wanting to explain herself.
Sasuke opened his mouth to say something, but the sudden entrance of his brother shut him up. Naruko turned around to look at what held the Uchiha speechless, and burst out into laughter. Itachi stood there with a frown on is delicate features. He was drenched and the red paint and glitter was half washed off likely that he had walked into another trap of Naruko.
Sasuke smirked, "You look nice, Itachi."
Itachi gave Sasuke a glare. "She's all yours," he hissed at Sasuke before walking out the building.
"Care to explain why my brother looks like a clown, and you're running around like a little kid?"
"Umm" Naruko was lost for words. She wasn't about to tell him she was planning on running away.
Sasuke stared at her then looked back at the door then back at her. She could tell he was putting the piece together. "Were you trying to run off?"
Naruko just turned around and marched up to her office. She put her shoes back on and Sasuke stepped up to her reaching out for her long golden blonde hair that cascaded down her back. He grabbed it gently putting it back in the bun he had but it in that morning. Once her hair was up, he fixed her blouse buttoning buttons that came a loose from her running. He took a step back, he stared at Naruko marveling her beauty.
"You're ready to go?" he asked her.
Naruko nodded her head, "Ichiraku's?"
"You can't eat ramen everyday"
"Ichiraku's it is! Come on, let's go!" Naruko yelled excitedly dragging the Uchiha out the building to his car.
Lady Tsunade sat at the comfort of her desk staring at the man standing in front of her. She wasn't surprised to see him standing in her office at all. He was one of the best criminals in Konoha right next to her goddaughter. To say he finish half his missions in only a month was outstanding.
"Hokage-sama" the man called out to her catching her attention.
Tsunade stared at him and held out her hand as the man put the scroll in her awaiting hand. She opened it up reading the fine calligraphy written on it in black ink. She scanned the letter from Raikage. Satisfied, she closed the scroll and looked back up at the man.
"I'm impressed. Nothing, but the best from you. I would've thought it would take you a little longer to get this" Tsunade commented.
"Kiri has gotten ambushed, and they requested I come at an earlier time. I finished in Kumo early so I would have time to do my other missions and get what you need back to you on time" the man said.
Tsunade nodded her head, "I see. Are you leaving right away?"
"No, I'm leaving later on tonight"
"And would that be because of my goddaughter?" Tsunade asked. The man nearly choked on his spit. "Ahh, don't act so surprised. It's quite obvious."
"Wha?"
"Is she also why you finished early?"
"Lady Tsunade, we were talking abut the missions" the man shout back.
"Now, we're talking about you" she smiled at him.
"I don't think we sho-"
"Look who's here" Jiraiya exclaimed walking into the office and hitting the man in the back who almost toppled over from the sudden pressure on his skin. "Why back so early?"
"I have anot-"
"Nonsense, he has to see Naru before he goes on his next mission" Tsunade cut in.
"Oh really?" Jiraiya asked raising an eyebrow at the man.
"Well, you see, it's nothing like that" the man rubbed the back of his head.
"She misses you. The decision you made with council had her upset for awhile. She soon got over it. I barely get to see her now that she's cooped up in that office, and her husband takes up most of her free times" Tsunade said.
The man gave a nervous laugh, "Could I go now?"
"You're eager to see her. We won't hold you up any longer" Jiraiya smiled.
"I'm not trying to see Naru" he blurted out.
"Now, Kakashi, there's no need to lie. You're dismissed" Tsunade smiled waving her hand at him to leave her office.
"I'll take you to her" Jiraiya offered.
"No, no that's alright" Kakashi stepped out the office. Once he was out the office, he pulled out the newest addition to the Icha Icha collection and walked out the building.
He really didn't want to see Naruko until after all his missions were through with. He never told her he would be back in Konoha betweenhis missions, and he wanted to keep it that way. He didn't need to get distracted before he left again. Knowing she was well before he left the first time was enough for him to concentrate on his mission. He didn't like the fact he had to be without her for so long and have Sasuke look after her.
That's right. He was the one who came up with the idea of Naruko staying with Sasuke. The council was already plotting on her for what she did, and all he did was say the Uchiha never filed the divorce papers. His plan went into action just like that. He was sure it was better than whatever the council had already came up with.
What was he thinking giving away the girl that could possibly be his back to her ex-husband. Well, he didn't want a repeat of what happened in Suna. He didn't wanting her running off getting herself killed because of what the council wanted.
What he hates most about his decision is the outcome. Say he comes back in the next two months, and her and Sasuke are back in love. Yeah, he needs to see Naru. Forget not letting her know he was back. He should gone confess thats she is the reason why he came back so early, well part of it. His missions took up most of it.
Kakashi pondered his thoughts thinking about where he might find Naru. She wouldn't be at the company; he knew she probably cracked by now. That part wasn't his idea. The council obviously kept some of their ideas. So she was either with Kiba or at Ichiraku's. Most likely Ichiraku. He didn't want to go back in there; he was still traumatized from his first experience. If he wants to see Naru, he would just have to suck it up and go.
Just as he was about to turn the corner, a yellow blur collided into him causing him to drop his book. Kakashi, not phased my the impact, reached for his precious book catching it before it hit the ground. While trying to make sure his book was okay, he almost missed the thi- er person who crashed into him fall. He reached out grabbing the person arm keeping hi- wait her up.
Found you!
Sasuke sat at table watching Naruko down her tenth bowl of ramen. It still amazed him at how much ramen she could eat and never gain a pound. She was such an unusual girl, and he had to keep her.
"Hey, dobe, are you done yet? You have to get back to work?"
Naruko put the bowl she was currently eating out of down with a happy sigh. "Hey old man, another bowl of miso ramen!"
"Here you go, Naruko" Teuchi said placing another bowl in front of Naruko.
She instantly dug in while Sasuke just sighed. He was quite use to her eating habits. After all, he has taken her here often. He's just amazed at how he's not broke yet. She got all the rest of her friend into taking her here and by the time she was done, they were clutching their wallets.
"Sasuke, I'm going to the restroom, ok"
Sasuke nodded at her. Naruko got up from her seat making her way to the women's restroom. Naruko let out a giggle as she thought about how Kakashi walked out on her. Then she did exactly that. She told Ayame not to say anything then slipped out the door.
She started walking down the street trying to find a good place to hide. She didn't get to look long as she heard Sasuke yelling at her.
"Naruko, get back here" Sasuke growled running out Ichiraku's.
The whiskered blonde looked over her shoulder whiling running away from her husband. She refused to go back to work, and Sasuke wasn't taking her back either. She escaped from two Uchihas in one day in the past two hours. That had to be a new record, in her books. Naruko slipped into an ally running down the dirt road.
"Narukoooo!"
She continued running as she turned a corner. Suddenly, she crashed into something hard. What the fuck was that?! She thought holding her head because she was dizzy. She took a step back and felt herself falling. Naruko shut her eyes tight expecting to hit the pavement, but she didn't. She open her eyes to see that she was standing. What did I crash into?
"I don't even get a thank you. You didn't forget about me, did you Naru-chan?"
Naruko froze. It was like everything stopped, the dizziness, the pain, the world. Yep, she definitely hit her head hard. She know she didn't hear who she thinks she heard. She turned around to look where the voice came from. Yeah, she really hit her head good. She's even seeing him, too.
"Naru, I'm hurt" he said putting a hand to his chest
The blonde went up to him reaching up to grab the nearest thing to her hand. Her hand grabbed a fist full of silver locks and tugged on it, hard. Hearing him whimper, she snatched her hand back.
"I never knew you like it rough, Naru" he said pulling her close to him.
Naruko unwrapped herself from him and hitting him in the chest. He just chuckled at her. Yeah, she wasn't crazy. Only he would make comments like that. He was definitely real and in front of her.
"Don't flatter yourself, Kashi" Naruko rolled her eyes.
"Na-ru-ko!" Sasuke fumed coming around the corner spotting her.
"Running away from you husband?" Kakashi asked.
"This is your fault!" Naru screamed pulling Kakashi with as she ran.
"You bumped into me, remember" Kakashi pointed out.
"You shouldn't have been there" Naruko snapped.
"But Naru, you was the one who had to touch me"
"Stuff it, Kakashi"
"Sure thing" Kakashi said walking a little faster to get in front of her then pulling her along with him.
"Hey, what are you doing?!"
There was no reply.
"Kakashi, I know you heard me!"
More silence.
"Here we are" Kakashi said stopping in front of a nice house. Kakashi opened the door and pulled Naru in.
"I didn't agree to this! Where am I?"
"My house" Kakashi said closing the door. Still latched to her wrist he started walkig through the house with Naruko following him. Naruko didn't mind at all; she had somewhere to hid, and she got to see Kakashi.
Kakashi went up a flight of stairs, and the voice of something stopped their walk. "Boss, you're back, and who's your friend" the voice said. Naruko looked around to see where the voice came from but couldn't find a source.
"That's Naru. Naru this Pakkun" Kakashi said motioning to floor. Naru looked down to see a pug and raised a questioning eyebrow.
"Hey Naru. Nice to meet you" the pug said.
Naruko squealed and hid behind Kakashi, "It talked!"
"You've talked to toads"
"But that's a dog!" she pointed at Pakkun.
Kakashi chuckled and continued on his way up another flight of stairs. A breeze flew past Naruko and she realized she was on the roof. Kakashi let go of her hand and looked to the sky. Naruko watched him then jumped on him knocking him down.
"I missed you, Kashi" Naru whispered into his ear.
Kakashi reached up and tucked a golden lock behind her ear, "I missed you, too, Naru."
Naruko waved bye to Kakashi as she got out his car. She watched him drive off then walked up the long driveway to the Uchiha mansion. She opened the door and walked in slowly closing the door. She creeped into the house. Suddenly, a light came on revealing the two Uchihas.
"Naru, its 11:17" Itachi said.
"Then you ran off from work" Sasuke added on.
Naruko gave a nervous laugh and scratched the back of her head, "See, umm." She took off running up the stairs.
