Brady is 32 years old. He has finally defeated Kaita after a long war, but the costs of the war have ruined his life. Now he's willing to do whatever it takes to change that, including risking the fate of the island with time travel.

A/N- This is the final chapter of Doing It Better.

Mason and I went into jungle. I had to keep Mason from finding me. I started by throwing all of Mason's weapons into a river, then I lead him to the side of the island opposite of where Brady actually was.

Still, Mason tracked the young me down. Brady tried to escape, but Mason tackled him to the ground. "Listen Brady, I've been thinking, and I have decided you would be a better boyfriend for Mikayla than those other guys who like her. So I'm giving you one chance. If you hurt my daughter you will regret it. Understood?"

"Yes Mason. I promise I'll take care of Mikayla."

that morning

"Mikayla, will you go out with me?" "Of course I will Brady," Mikayla said giving Brady a hug. The day went by as normal, but that night I turned in all of my guard equipment to Mason and told him I was leaving.

"Why are you leaving? Shouldn't you stay to help your nephews rule the island," he said. "The kings have grown up. They can take care of themselves now. I have business to attend to on another island, but I will return to Kinkow soon.

I then went to say my goodbyes to myself. "I'm heading back to my own time Brady," I said walking into his room. "What you're leaving?" "My mission here is done. You and Mikayla are together. You better not ever break up with Mikayla. You are perfect for each other whether you realize it or not."

"Don't worry. I'm not letting Mikayla go anytime soon." "If you ever miss me just look in a mirror," I said walking out of the room. I went back into the jungle and found the time machine. Now I can go home.

The future has really changed. I now rule with Boomer and Boz. Mikayla and I rarely fight, and Mitchel is much better behaved now. My brothers and I defeated Kaita before the war was drawn out, so the island and its people are very well off.

I didn't tell anyone about the mission. Not even Lanny remembers it in this future. Anyway, the mission was a complete success, and my life is now everything I wanted it to be.
