After Kise had returned with Aomine in tow, they had all helped Kuroko do the opposite of what they had originally intended to do that day: they helped him unpack. After the explanation of everything that had happened, paying close attention to the fact that Kuroko had slashed up Kagami's cheek, it was in mutual agreement that Kuroko had made the right decision, the decision to stay, and he had the full support of both Kise and Aomine, and surely everyone else in Kiseki.

In the weeks that followed, all of the residents of Kiseki Village pitched in and helped with what they had called the "Clean Up Kiseki, Or So Help Me" mission. Weeds were picked, garbage was thrown away, and the cockroaches, well...that was Kagami's domain. They were inside of his house, after all.

With everything happening so fast, summer had come and gone before they knew it. Instead of seedless watermelons, they all enjoyed large glasses of fresh coconut milk on the daily. Instead of fireworks, they watched horror movies and told ghost stories that made them never want to sleep again.

The summer had been different from what was portrayed in Kuroko's letters. Same for the autumn, the winter, and the spring to come. Regardless of that minor aspect, everything was just the way that it was meant to be. Everything was perfect, and in the end of it all, Kagami could only do justice by saying one last thing.

"Thank you, Kiseki Village. Thank you for the adventure of a lifetime."

Hi there! Chappy here! Again! :D

This is it, everyone. It is with much sadness that I put this story to rest. Writing for this story had taken up all of my summer, as well as a month and a half after that. Not writing for this story anymore is going to feel weird, but I hope that you'll enjoy whatever future fanfics that I write, as well!

From the bottom of my heart, thank you very much for taking the time to read Kagami no Crossing.

And to everyone who reviewed (there are a few of you who stand out in particular), thank you for taking the time to do such. Honestly, it was all of your reviews that drove me to keep writing every week. (:

One more time, thank you all so very much. It's been a real pleasure.
