Ash awoke with a strange cheerfulness. Today was the day he got to use his own name, his own face, his own life. It was thrilling, like coming out of a shell that didn't fit just right.
He turned to his right and gazed around the room. Ah the lamp, the beautiful window curtain, the window, the guy with the sub machine gun pointed at ash's face, the pic- wait what. Ash backed against the wall, accidently bumping his head.
"Poor reaction time " the Superhuman said, writing on a paper.
Ash now couldn't help the feeling of confusion that filled his emotions. "Uuuuuuummmmm, what's going on"?
The superhuman rolled his eyes, "Especially stupid, lacking logic, recommend immediate disengagement". He said.
"that… does not answer my question?" Ash incurred.
The Door nearly flew off the hinges as Millis and Sarah burst into the room.
"Ash what happened"? Millis cried.
"Who's this" Serena interrogated.
The man didn't look shocked in the least. He simply raised his eyes, "I see that the recommended has roomates".
Ash recovered, "Who are you"?
The man gazed at him again, "Me? I'm the guy they took from the Istanbul operation to come baby sit a recommended".
Serena looked confused now, "Why are you calling him a "recommended""?
The man set down the notebook he'd been writing on, "This young koeter(Mutt) has been recommended for an elite job. That is all I can say at the moment."
Ash scrambled to get ready, "Oh crap, you're that guy".
Millis chipped in as she closed the door, "Does he have a name"?
The man smiled, an obvious fake smile, "My name is Kampfer(Fighter)".
Ash rolled his eyes, "Sure it is".
The door re-opened resulting in Asis entering the room. Kampfer nearly jumped out of his skin.
Kampfer shouted, throwing his fist in a perfect horizontal position, lining it up with his shoulder, "Heiligkiet!"
Asis brushed his hand, "At ease".
Kampfer wasn't done however, "Heiligkeit I was unaware of your presence in the city, perhaps I could have prep-"
Asis raised his hand, "I am on a busy schedule, and you are holding my neffe from his objective".
Kampfer seemed caught on that word, "Neffe, neffe Un schiesse!" He bowed his head in shame.
Again, Asis brushed it off, "He is leaving now".
Kampfer threw his shoved his arms to his side and exited the room.
Asis turned to Ash again, "Ready to go out as Ash Ketchum, not Blade".
Ash smiled and held out his hand.
Asis hoisted him out and the exited the room.
Sarah looked at Millis, "It's like we're not even here".
Millis nodded.
(Line break)
"The crowd is crazy down there, wouldn't you say Bob" One of the announcer said.
"Well I wouldn't mean to boast, but we had some pretty good match recently". Bob said.
"Yes, I mean, that Blade boy has practically bulldozed the competition, all lots are up, and this guy is doing great". The announcer said.
The referee walked on to the field, "The battle between Blade-"
Ash walked into his corner, "I'd like to amend that". Ash removed his hood and showed his face to the public for the first time since the betrayal.
Bob spoke, "What's this, Blade was actually Ash Ketchum from Pallet Town"!
Ash spoke, "Aye, and I'm here to show the world my true power"!
The referee corrected himself, "Ash Ketchum from pallet town, versus, May from Petalburg".
May starred down her foe, a look of understanding in her eye. She knew she was going to lose today. She yelled across the field, "What would happen should I surrender".
Ash spoke with uncertainty, "I'm sure, you confuse the dog with the master".
May frowned, "I su-"
Suddenly a voice from the stands rose up in anger, "Don't do it May".
Max jumped over the audience bar, which was quite an accomplishment for a four foot tall boy. "I'll help you, but don't surrender to this woos, he's had his streak and now he'll lose it like he always does".
May shook her head, "That's no-"
Max kicked his foot on the dirt, "I'm not giving up".
Public restraining officers arrived in the arena. The grabbed Max's arms and began to drag him away.
Without warning the Announcer spoke, "Hold it, I'm receiving a message from a V.I.P. Aha, uhu, okay, I'll check. Ash Ketchum, would you like to do a two on one match. You will not gain or lose anything but pride from your answer".
Ash smirked, "why not"?
The announcer spoke, "Well if you really wanna re-"
Ash shouted, "That mean yes"!
The referee inquired, "WILL THERE BE ANY OTHER CHANGES, ANYONE ONE WANNA JOIN THIS THREESOME? NO OKAY. The Battle between Ash Ketchum from pallet town versus May and Max from Petalburg will now commence. BATTLE BEGIN!"
May and Max both threw out hoenn starters, "Go Blaziken/Sceptile".
Ash looked at the pokeball in his hand. It was a rebellious monster, native to the superhuman homeworld's harsh volcanic regions. This particular monster had a rebellious streak when it was used. Asis had told Ash, "Only a true master can command this beast".
Ash had a fifty/fifty shot of it listening to him. "Go GRAVIOS, I BESEECH YOU BRING ME VICTORY!"
The pokeball open, and flash of bright light flooded the battlefield. The Light took shape, forming a small shell of white.
Max, for all he was worth, laughed, "That's it, Sceptile-"
The shell burst out of the ground, rocks flying into the walls, small amounts of magma bubbled from under it, the fearsome Gravios. Asis had also told Ash, "Oh by the way, it's a gold crown in size".
Ash spoke to himself, "No kidding" as the massive monster roared, blasting the ears of everything within half a mile. The ground rumbled in response.
Ash gazed in horror at his hand after he had cover his ears. Blood, the roar was so loud his ears were bleeding. Max and May looked like they had been concussed by the force of the noise. Max was the first to "Recover".
He cried out, "S-s-Sceptile, use…Leaf blade". He was clearly still a little shocked, and very VERY scared.
Sceptile charged at the Gravios. Being Dragon and fire, the attack should have done little. Before the attack could land however, the Gravios turned around; its tail sending the Sceptile flying out into the wall.
It stared Ash, eye to eye. Ash would be lying if he said he wasn't the least bit scared. The Gravios breathed into his face, as if smelling the commanding power inside him. The Gravios raised its head, ready for judgement.
Ash looked at it, "Please, grant me victory".
So, that's all I got for now.
Thanks for your patience, and please remember to comment letting me know your thoughts, even if it's just "great chapter" or "you suck".
