A/N: Blah blah blah. I'm back with this thing, sorry about the long wait. I'm not really happy with the current story so time for a nice new plot twist 3 Thanks to everyone who's clung on waiting and the nice guest who asked for more. You have motivated me to get this thing done. I guess you wanna read it then huh?~ In Ciel's POV.
It had been about an hour since the, whatever it was (display of affection hell if he knew) and the young demon was currently sat in the same position. Ciel didn't have the slightest clue as to what had happened between them. Sebastian had briefly apologised and left him to his own devices while he had scuttled off to Hell knows where. He was beyond angry with his butler's actions.
Shifting himself so he was in a more comfortable position was a lot more difficult now he had two extra limbs to deal with but, he somehow managed it. He knew he was acting like he was a child again, being selfish and whatnot but, he had a damn good reason to. He was definitely going to be in a huff all day just to make things difficult. After all, leaving someone alone after such actions was rude.
He wanted to lay down and sleep on this whole mess but, he wasn't willing to risk hurting himself so he just laid there in the most comfortable position he could manage. He just hoped that he could at least retract them like Sebastian could with his. If there was one thing he was sure of he wasn't running around with his own casually getting in his way.
He heard the door creak open behind him and being the stubborn child he had always been he refused to turn over, even when whoever it was shook him by the shoulder.
"You've always been such a stubborn one haven't you?" The person hissed.
He had immediately rolled from the bed and put as much distance between the aggressor and himself. Ciel looked up at Harold. He had not expected to see him back, nor see him manage to get pass Sebastian's watchful eye.
"Surprised? I would be too. It took me a while to track you down. You gave me quite the run around Ciel." He stated with a somewhat bored look crossing his face.
The younger of the two backed away towards the window, preparing to jump down to the balcony on the lower level if he had too.
"Trying to run away just like last time? I can follow you, I hope you know." Harold sighed, attempting to close the distance, "It's about time you paid up."
The young demon simply hissed at him in warning.
"And don't think I'm going to give you anything." Ciel spat eyeing the door.
If he was fast enough he could make it and inform Sebastian that Harold had found them. There was no way he would let the bastard get his way without a fight. He slowly edged his way back towards the bed when the door swung open once again.
'Damn it!' He internally hissed, 'He's brought backup.'
Harold seemed to be having the same thoughts as him, especially when the purple haired demon was flung into the wall from a high speed blast of air. Ciel was shocked into silence. The most likely scenario was the Sebastian had come to check on him but, this person's aura was nothing like his. Sure he knew that the butler was a very old demon and very powerful but, this aura was much more intimidating. It was ancient and unfathomably strong. He backed towards the window once again. If there was one thing he didn't want, this was it.
As quick as the person had appeared, they left. The young demon cautiously made his way to the door and scanned the dark hallway for anybody. Nothing. He let out a deep sigh.
"Is something wrong, young master?" Sebastian asked walking up to him, a worried expression gracing his face, "I thought I heard a loud noise?"
"Well, if you check the large indent in the room behind me, you'll find Harold laid there unconscious." He all but snapped still angry at the older demon's actions before.
The watched the other slip into the room and heard shortly afterwards what could only be possible a bone breaking. He didn't question it nor look. Soon enough though, Sebastian returned, moving him from the door way and locking the room behind him.
"Well, that was certainly a surprise." Sebastian scoffed removing his bloody gloves with a huff.
The younger gave him a sideways look and leant against the wall. He couldn't shake the feeling that somebody was watching them. He shivered not from the cold but, from fear of who ever had been there before Sebastian. He could feel the aura lingering at the edge of his senses and wondered if the other could feel it to because he did seem on edge.
"Sebastian...?" He called taking his hand, "Do you feel that too?"
A small nod and an arm going around his shoulder to pull him closer confirmed that he did indeed.
"Stay close. I can't tell who it is or why they're here but, if it come to it we may have to fight." He said fixing his blood red gaze on Ciel.
"We wont be able to win." He stated simply leaning into the warmth.
Sebastian nodded again, walking by his side back in the direction he had originally come from. Ciel could feel the tension in his muscles under his suit and for some reason it was comforting. The fact that even after all these years he would still fight for him made him feel as if he were still alive. Both knew that they'd end up dead if they fought against whoever was lurking around but, it seemed that whoever it was wasn't bothered about them.
A/N: Igh sorry about the crappy ending. I just wanted to give you something to read while I get some other stuff done. I'm back in college now and have a few assignments to hand in so there might not be anything for two weeks. Luckily I have two days off so I can spend more time working on my fics. Thanks again for hanging on readers.
