Chapter 3: Lauren discovers the secret
Lauren's P.O.V:
Thanks to Logan the guys helped me get settled in their guest room at the Palm Woods and gave wisdom to stay on Bitter's good side. I don't know why he's so cranky at times. I mean he should be respecting the destined rulers by now. I decided to write in my journal Hector got me before leaving for this trip as I sat on the guest bed in my room. "Dear Journal, I just can't believe its been two years since I met Logan and Big Time Rush for the first time. It amazes me in a sense that we all share something in common and right now I am loving L.A. The thing that has been playing in the back of my head now is my destiny. I know I'm destined for something extraordinary and I bear this birthmark on my shoulder but what does it all mean? I hope to figure it out soon, I just don't know to be quite honest, yet one thing is I'll do whatever it takes to fulfill it. From, Lauren," I wrote into my journal on an empty page.
Logan's P.O.V.:
I decided to see if Lauren was alright or so after we helped her settle in. I went to the guest room and knocked on the door. "Come in," she replied and I stepped into the room. "Hey you alright Lauren," I asked her. "Yeah. You sure your okay Logan, looks like your sweating," she noticed. I looked down to see my shirt covered in my sticky sweat. "Well, about that I was a pretty much nervous Nelly today because I was excited you were coming, and the guys too but whose counting," I shrugged. "Yeah whose counting indeed," she smiled. "Hey, mind if I use the bathroom and take off the shirt, it's sticky," I asked. "Go on ahead. I won't look," she said as I went into the bathroom and took off the shirt placing a new one on and no Kendall, I did not reveal the abs so stop making that bet. I finished putting on the shirt and came out to see Lauren holding the statue of the lion and a coin I found in the park with the others 2 years before I met her. I still don't know what they are. "Lauren, are you okay," I asked coming to her bed.
Lauren's P.O.V.:
"Honestly Logan, yes but I've been thinking about something lately," I replied in honesty. "What's that," Logan asked sitting on the bed. "My destiny," I told him. "Your destiny," he asked curiously. "Yeah. I feel like there is something to it. I had this kept secret since I was born but if anyone is going to help me find out what it is, it's you and the guys. I missed seeing you a lot. It's been long," I told him. "Yeah, I agree. I miss seeing you as well," Logan said sitting down on the bed. The door creaked and I saw James, Carlos and Kendall come in. "Couldn't sleep," Logan asked as the three came in. "No. We heard you talking and figured to join on the conversation. Lauren, believe us when we say, we missed you too. I think were happy you came to visit and we can finally found out, who were meant to be," Kendall grinned. "For sure," I smiled looking at the coin and the small lion statue on my nightstand. "Say are those yours Logan," James wondered. "Their mine," I told them. "Where did you get these," Carlos asked. "Found them when I was helping Lisa with the Revolution article. They just glowed in a light and I found them," I recalled that day. "We got the same things to, yet what could they mean," Logan questioned. "I don't know but whatever they are, they led us back to one another and we have a chance to uncover our destiny," Kendall told us. "We do," I grinned before yawning and deciding it was time for bed. The guys said goodnight to me as I started to sleep soundly before feeling a skin tingle down my back. I shot up quickly not sure what it was and looked aorund hoping Logan wasn't playing a trick, thank goodness he wasn't. I went back to sleep and when my head hit the pillow a golden rich voice spoke to me, "Lauren, my daughter. I have watched over your ancestor and knew you before you were even born. You are destined to take the throne of Queen Lucy. The challenges maybe rough ahead, but trust in me for you are destined and ready," I continued to sleep in bliss as I heard the voice knowing this was it and tomorrow would be more than I hoped for, I think.
(Next day)
Lauren's P.O.V:
I felt a similar ray of sunlight greeting my face as I slowly stirred from my sleep as if Sleeping Beauty or Sleepy beat the all time sleep record something like that. "Huh? Where are the guys," I wondered out loud not noticing them in my guest room. We talked almost for hours last night so I wasn't sure where they were. I got out of bed and decided to investigate putting on my slippers and bathrobe before walking out to the crib to see the guys standing around the kitchen making breakfast. "Morning Lauren," Logan grinned as he saw me up and about. "Morning guys. What are you making over there," I asked. "Breakfast. We weren't 100% sure if you would be sleeping in after your long flight yesterday, so the guys and I decided it would be nice if we made you some pancakes like you guys did two years ago," James told me with a smile while flipping a pancake. "Aw guys, you didn't have to do that for me. I was honestly going to have cereal," I admitted. "No your our friend and guest, you made breakfast for us, now it's time we return the favor," Kendall grinned. "Agreed and honestly none of us would steal your breakfast and eat it for ones self," Carlos said. "CARLOS," the guys scolded him not happy. "What? I just said breakfast guys not food," he defended and I couldn't help but smile. "So Lauren, want the pancake," James asked. "Sure I'm hungry," I told them before sitting down at the table with them enjoying breakfast as we did two years ago. It still amazes me that we could recall some awesome times that happened before compared to now so to say but I love it.
"So Lauren, what do you want to do today," Logan asked me. "Well, I still have to finish some unpacking my stuff. I did some yesterday but sort of forgot the rest," I admitted. "Okay, after that you want to do something fun," Carlos said to me. "Sure. We can do that," I answered. "Perfect. We'll give you time to unpack everything," James said. "Thanks but I have a little request," I told them. "What's that," Kendall asked. "Kendall, some unpacking music please," I asked. "The one you like," Carlos smiled. "You know it," I grinned. "One order of your song coming up," Kendall said playing the song on the TV. In case your confused it was "Steal Your Rock and Roll" from Memphis. I always love that song when putting away clothes. Why? It's that good mood song to get you pumped up honestly as I went through my suitcase with all of my outfits set even after changing into my clothes for the day before hand as I placed everything in the dressers. "Okay then after emptying everything I got my shirts out, pants, PJ's stuff like that. Did I forget anything else? No I don't think so," I started to say before looking in my suitcase to see a tiny red box tucked in my suitcase along with a note and a book as thunder rumbled in the distance.
"What is this? I don't remember packing this into my suitcase. Did it fall in by accident" I suddenly asked myself. Thank goodness no one heard. I shrugged and soon gingerly let my hand enter the suitcase to grab the box and the book. Reaching it up to my eyes I could see the box had an image of the lion of Narnia on it and I gasped. What could this all mean? The note was still attached to the box as I gently tore it off. "A note from Hector," I realized seeing his handwriting was written on the note. "Dear Lauren, I am writing this note to you since I know your birthday isn't coming up towards the end of August but I wanted well more like the family wants to give you our present now. It's time for you to realize your true destiny Lauren. We have waited a long time for this since you were born and this is it. The book and the pedant will help you Lauren, and never forget your destiny. Love Hector," I read out loud. I'm still curious on what he meant by it as I opened the box holding the pedant. "Lucy's vial pendant. He got it," I smiled gently taking it out and placing it around my neck. I had the book in my arms and looked at the cover. "The book of the Narnia prophecy. Hmm," I said reading the title before opening the pages and letting the history of Narnia jump out right in front of me as I giggled seeing all of this come to life. I knew the stories were real but never thought it would be a surprise to me. They felt so real to me and really they were real. The book soon turned to a particular page that I was surprised about. "Huh," I said to myself looking at the page the book had.
"That's funny. My baby picture is on here. Along with the guys, and the mark looks familiar," I said tracing my fingers on the pages of the Royal Family of Narnia tree etched in detail. The mark of the Lion was on there as well as I looked through everything. "My line and theirs connects to the Pevensies and Caspian. So, if they all meet at one point with their pictures that can only mean," I said thinking before realizing. "THE GUYS AND I ARE THE DESCENDANTS OF THE KINGS AND QUEENS OF NARNIA," I gasped realizing the true destiny placed out before me at birth. "Oh my gosh! This is shocking, I better tell Logan. LOGAN, GUYS," I said calling their names running over to the living room ready to tell them what I just saw and how we can go about this. I hope they won't freak out.
