I am so sorry for not updating sooner, fanfiction wouldn't let me update on Christmas and I was stuck on so many ideas x.x

Chapter 2

In the small crack of the opened door, Dawn saw a girl that had porcelain skin with long midnight purple hair and beautiful green eyes.

'Julie Starlight!' thought Dawn as she saw her idol with a guitar.

If people saw her now they wouldn't really think it'd be her, but Dawn knew. She had been to one of idol's concerts – actually, she had gone to her very first concert that was held in Twinleaf town. It was a small event but she appeared briefly to sing for them at the end of the Twinleaf Festival.

Dawn kept her blue eyes on her, the door was halfway open now, but Julie didn't seem to have noticed she was to lost in her own little world to notice anyone as she started:

"(Oh, oh)

(Oh, oh)

So much for my happy ending

(Oh, oh, oh, oh)"

The strumming of the guitar became stronger.

"(Oh, oh)

(Oh, oh)

So much for my happy ending

(Oh, oh, oh, oh)

(Oh, oh)

(Oh, oh)

(Oh, oh)"

The young idol then let her voice run through the room:

"Let's talk this over

It's not like we're dead

Was it something I did?

Was it something you said?

Don't leave me hanging

In a city so dead

Held up so high

On such a breakable thread

You were all the things I thought I knew

And I thought we could be"

Julie's voice became stronger and with more feeling as she shook her head slightly:

"You were everything, everything

That I wanted

We were meant to be, supposed to be

But we lost it

All of our memories so close to me

Just fade away

All this time you were pretending

So much for my happy ending

(Oh, oh)

(Oh, oh)

So much for my happy ending

(Oh, oh, oh, oh)

(Oh, oh)

(Oh, oh)"

Dawn watched her as she projected a strong feeling in her eyes:

"You've got your dumb friends

I know what they say

They tell you I'm difficult

But so are they

But they don't know me

Do they even know you?

All the things you hide from me

All the things that you do?"

Pain and betrayal, something she herself had experienced, then she saw Julie's expression from pain to that of sadness:

"You were all the things I thought I knew

And I thought we could be

You were everything, everything

That I wanted

We were meant to be, supposed to be

But we lost it

All of our memories so close to me

Just fade away

All this time you were pretending

So much for my happy ending"

Then Dawn saw it. It was a small flicker of the light, but she saw it; Julie's eyes were on the brink with tears, her green eyes were now similar to moss with their dark color as she continued to sing, her voice never once breaking:

"It's nice to know that you were there

Thanks for acting like you cared

And making me feel like I was the only one

It's nice to know we had it all

Thanks for watching as I fall

And letting me know we were done"

The bluenette clutched her hand close to her chest; she felt the emotions from the song flow into her very being:

"He was everything, everything

That I wanted"

That had been her exact thoughts about her past with him, and she couldn't help but shed a small tear as she remembered their times together as she watched the idol she looked up to in such a breakable state:

"We were meant to be, supposed to be

But we lost it

All of the memories so close to me

Just fade away

All this time you were pretending

So much for my happy ending-"

Julie moved around in a small invisible space as she kept strumming the guitar as if to let her feeling flow through them and leave her body:

"You were everything, everything

That I wanted

We were meant to be, supposed to be

But we lost it

All of the memories so close to me

Just fade away

All this time you were pretending

So much for my happy ending

(Oh, oh)

(Oh, oh)

So much for my happy ending

(Oh, oh, oh, oh)

(Oh, oh)

(Oh, oh)

So much for my happy ending

(Oh, oh, oh, oh)

(Oh, oh)

(Oh, oh)

(Oh, oh)

(Oh, oh)"

Dawn saw the singer stare off into space and took this chance to hide behind the door and closing it, sadly the door creaked loudly. She had forgotten the door in the music room was known for squeaking, but had forgotten all about it since she hadn't heard the noise over the sounds coming from the guitar.

Julie turned hurriedly to the door when heard a squeak coming from door after she had the guitar back in place,

"Who goes there?" she asked strongly and cautiously, her Espeon's pokéball in hand.

Slowly a small feminine figure opened the door and in came a girl with blue hair and eyes. Her blue hair was in a half ponytail, and her uniform was like the others; white dress shirt, plaid skirt, white knee-high socks, and the school's khaki jacket, but what caught Julie's attention was the red tag on the jacket.

Her eyes narrowed slightly for a moment, which Dawn didn't notice, and smiled a little at the girl as she asked;

"Can I help you?"

Slowly the girl's voice said, "Y-you're Julie Starlight…"

"Yes, I am…"

"I-I I'm sorry, I'm Dawn Berlitz nice to meet you."

"Hello Dawn."

"I'm sorry if this is a bit rude but I am your biggest fan!"

"Oh!" replied Julie surprised, "I-is that so?"

"Yeah, I remember you went to the Twinleaf Festival for your first concert at the end of the festival."

"Really?"

"Yeah, my mother, Johanna, is in charge of the Festival so I was able to watch from up close, you are really amazing!"

"Ah, t-thank you!" said Julie before adding, "Wait a minute, then you must be the girl who helped me out that time!"

"Huh?"

Julie smiled apologetic, "You helped me before I went on stage that night. I was a nerve wreck but you encouraged me, though I suppose you didn't recognize me because of the brown wig I was wearing."

"That was you?!" exclaimed Dawn shocked.

"Yep, if anything I think I owe my whole music career to you!"

"Oh, there's no need for that!" said Dawn as she put her hands up in front of her while shaking them and her hands slightly at the same time.

"Okay, but you have to at least let me repay you in some way..."

"Don't worry; I'll keep that in mind, honestly!"

"That's good to hear," said Julie while smiling, it was then that Dawn noticed the red tag on the idol's jacket sleeve.

"Hey is that what I think it is?" she said slowly.

"What?"

"The red tag on your shoulder, it's from the Student Council isn't it?" she asked while tilting her head lightly.

Julie froze for a moment, she didn't know if 'Prince Charming' had told them the truth or not, but she decided to test waters lightly, "Yeah, it is..."

"Then that means," said Dawn her face in thought, "you're the new secretary!" she exclaimed happily.

"Y-yeah..."

"Welcome aboard, I'm the Vice President, and my brother is the President," said Dawn happily.

"T-thank you, and did you say brother?"

"Yep, my older twin brother; Lucas."

"L-Lucas, huh?" said Julie as she picked up her bag from the table nearby.

"Yes, do you know him?"

"Nope," lied Julie, "but he does sound nice, though."

"He is, actually, I think you two will get along just fine," Dawn smiled at her.

'You have no idea,' thought Julie to herself.

Then Dawn remembered what her brother had said during the meeting, "Speaking of which, he told me you got lost."

'Yeah, right; I knew exactly where I was going, I just didn't want to attract attention. I've been here after realizing that I had nowhere else to go to put my mind on other things.'

"Well, yeah, it's a pretty big school. I somehow ended up here and got distracted by the instruments," Julie replied, it wasn't a lie exactly, but it wasn't the truth either.

"Oh, well in that case I'll be your guide for the next couple of days then," Dawn winked at her confidently.

"Thanks that would be of so much help!" Julie replied honestly. She didn't really need a guide, but her memory wasn't picture perfect either.

Moments later, something grumbled.

"Oops, I forgot I hadn't eaten breakfast," said Dawn while blushing, she sweat-dropped and rubbed her stomach.

"Then I guess you can take this chance to show me the cafeteria."

"Okay," replied Dawn while walking out of the music room.

"Either way I haven't had breakfast either," continued Julie.

"Really how come?"

"I didn't want to get here too late and be more lost than I already am," lied Julie.

'Truth is, I didn't eat breakfast, because that would mean seeing my father, but I can't tell her that.'

The two walked quietly to the cafeteria, and Julie got to learn a bit more about Dawn. Dawn was studying to become a Pokémon Stylist. Having reached her goal as a proud coordinator, the young bluenette had gotten a chance to produce her own small line for a magazine when she was 12 and now wanted to pursue it as a career.

"Well, here we are," said Dawn as she pushed open the brown double doors.

Julie was amazed at what she saw. The cafeteria looked like a dining hall, there chandeliers hanging from the ceiling and round tables all around the place with brown cushioned chairs. In the four corners of the room were buffet tables where the students could help themselves to the foods. They varied from cereals, to fruits, to different teas and so on.

"Whoa," said Julie as she followed Dawn to one of the buffet tables.

"That was my same reaction when I came here the first time, though I have to admit you never get tired of seeing it," said Dawn as she grabbed a tray and placed a small bowl with cereal, orange juice.

"I have to say, I was expecting something more of a simple cafeteria setting," replied Julie as she grabbed a tray too and placed a cup of green tea and a plate of cut fruit in her plate.

"Yeah, but the thing is there are many wealthy contributors who donate to the school and want it to be similar to that of their home. My friend Princess Salvia is one of the contributors and was the one who decided on this type of arrangement."

"I see, so each contributor decides on one of the rooms?" asked Julie.

"That's right," the bluenette replied as she went around the buffet table to see if there was something else that might interest her.

'Well, that explains why I was asked for a blueprint of a stadium,' thought Julie to herself as she reached for the last green apple in the table.

Just then her hand touched someone else's, and withdrew her hand on instinct before apologizing, "I'm sorry."

"It's okay," said the young man whose hand was in the apple she had set her eyes on.

He had dark eyes and hair color similar to hers, she caught her breath slightly from the sight of him, to her he was handsome.

"Juliette is everything okay?" asked Dawn.

Julie slightly jumped remembering where they were before turning to Dawn and nodding, "Yeah, but you know you can call me Julie, okay?"

"Okay!" she exclaimed happily, before looking passed her and saying, "Hey, Paul."

"Hey."

There was an awkward silence and Julie thought for sure that the AC had dropped the temperature by 20 degrees.

"Come on, Julie, I want you to meet my friends," said Dawn as she turned away from Paul and walked away.

"O-okay," said Julie as she made to follow the bluenette.

"Hey, princess," said Paul.

Julie turned around by instinct.

"Here," he placed the apple in her tray, "you wanted it, right?"

"I-yes," she answered surprised before smiling and saying, "thank you."

"No problem," he said as he turned around and raised his hand in a light wave, "see you around."

Julie stood there mesmerized, shaking her head a bit she turning around and catching up to Dawn before she attracted any unwanted attention.

"Hey Dawn, who was what?" she asked lightly, not wanting to bring up anything wrong when she remembered the atmosphere around them a while ago.

"That's Paul, he was," she paused a moment before continuing, "my ex-boyfriend."

"Oh, sorry I didn't mean to pry."

"It's okay that was 2 years ago anyway," and walked slightly faster to their destination. Soon they arrived and were greeted with many smiling faces and the welcome of "Dane!" "Hey, Dawn", "there you are, Dawn", "About time you got here!" and "where have you been, Dee Dee".

"Hey guys sorry I'm late."

"Kenny, I told you never call me that!" She said to a boy with dark eyes and dark brown hair.

"I can't help it, you always have the funniest expressions when I do," he replied.

The bluenette simply rolled her eyes as she set her tray in the table before turning to Julie, "Julie, these are all my friends," she gestured to each person as she called out there names, "Ash, Drew, May, Leaf, Gary, Silver Lyra, Kenny, Bianca, and my brother Lucas. Guys this is Juliette Starlight, also known Julie."

"It's nice to meet you all," she smiled as she avoided looking at the last person mentioned.

They all sat quiet as they stared the young famous idol that was mention in the morning before they left home, and all at once replied, "I-it's nice to meet you too…" with the exception of the President as he tried to act as surprised as everyone only to stare down at his food.

Dawn seemed to notice and peered down at her brother, "Lucas is everything alright?"

"Y-yeah, I'm fine," he said looking a little above her head before standing up and sticking out his hand, "It's nice to meet you, Miss Julie," he said a little strained as he forced his face into a smile.

"Trust me, the pleasure is all mine," she replied as she forced herself to shake his hand a plaster a sincere smile on her face.

The two let go and continued smiling at each other while trying not to awkwardly bring up the little incident that had happened earlier on when they met each other. The group looked at the two and felt the tense atmosphere between their Student Body President and their new Secretary as they smiled at each other.

"Um," tried to interrupt Dawn, "Julie, why don't you sit here," she patted the seat next to her.

Julie turned to Dawn and replied "Thanks, I hope you guys don't mind me sitting here."

"Not at all," said Lucas as she walked passed him, "Not. At. All." He said quietly before noticing that he was now sitting between Julie and Bianca. He sighed; this was going to be the longest breakfast he ever had.

As they were finishing breakfast and getting ready for their first class Dawn couldn't help but notice how, no matter what the topic was, Lucas and Julie would avoid talking to one another despite the fact of being right next to each other. In the short 20 minutes they took to eat, the two would not even make the slightest attempt to acknowledge one another and keeping such a happy attitude towards the others, Dawn could have sworn that she saw sparkles and roses between them, that she had to rub her eyes a couple times.

As they made their way to one of the dirty tray holders, Dawn closely watched the two as they finally interacted to one another, although she was sure the sparkle and rose atmosphere was there, there was also a chill to the simple conversation between the two;

"I heard Dawn say you lost your way," her twin brother had started.

"Oh, just a tiny bit, after all there wasn't anyone there to help me get around."

"Yes, too bad, if only we had run into each other."

"Oh if only," the famous idol sighed as she smiled. Dawn couldn't help but feel chills at their words, let alone the Goosebumps she felt.

Julie then suddenly felt what was probably a million pair of eyes on her, at first she thought it had been a figment of her imagination, but after leaving her tray she couldn't help the chills that went down her spine.

Lucas noticed this in the middle of their 'polite' chat, and asked, "Hey, what's the matter?"

"N-nothing," she replied on instinct as she looked behind while hugging herself, "Just thought I felt an army behind me."

"An army? Really?"

Julie turned toward him and dropped the nice façade, "Forget it, I forgot who I was talking to."

"Oh, come on, aren't you exaggerating a bit?" he said as he stopped before her. The others in front turned around to look at the pair, having gotten over the fact that an idol sat with them to eat breakfast and talked to them, one on one.

"Trust me, exaggeration isn't exactly my forte," she said looking back again, there it was! However, who was it rather.

The blue-eyed brunette looked at the idol suspiciously but as he saw her face show hesitation to his question unlike before with her fake smile towards him, he lightly touched her shoulder, which he realized was slightly shivering, "Hey, are you sure you're okay?"

"I'm fine," she turned to him, but as soon as the words had left her lips she heard a girl scream from the other side of the cafeteria, "OH MY GOD! THE PRESIDENT IS TOGETHER WITH JULIE STARLIGHT!"

On instinct, the two separated from each other before turning to the voice and shouting, "NO WE AREN'T!" gathering the attention of the whole cafeteria, the only thought that passed to their heads was 'Oh crud.'

"Uh, I don't mean to interrupt or anything," said Gary, "but I think we should all take this time to RUN!"

And with that the gang ran out of the building as fast as they could and hid in their office.

Gasping for air, Julie panted, "Okay, where did they get that we were going out from a light touch?"

Leaf answered here, "Don't worry about it, last time I was confronted for being his girlfriend because we were walking to class."

"Pfft," scoffed Gary, "just plain ridiculous," for some reason, Julie believed that Gary was jealous, "either way those fans of you are crazy and obsessive," he told Lucas.

"You're telling me," said Lucas as he caught his breath, "I'm just surprised they hadn't jumped us sooner."

"So it's safe to assume that this has been a regular thing," concluded Julie as took out her water bottle from her school bag.

"Pretty much," they all replied.

"Hey! I'm not the only one they were chasing, I'm pretty sure I saw your fan club there, too, Drew!"

"Well, sorry, I can't help being so popular," he said as he flicked his green hair while May rolled her eyes.

"I think I saw them this way," they heard a voice from outside.

"Shoot, quiet all of you," said Leaf as they hid beneath the desks.

"Are you sure they're here?" asked Girl A. They saw a shadow appear beneath the windows.

"Positive," replied Girl B, "Don't worry we'll find out where they hide one of these days."

"Gosh, Lilia," said Girl C, "aren't you a bit obsessed?"

"Me?! You're the one stealing Drew's and Ash's sweaty towels!"

'Ew,' they all thought to themselves.

"I wasn't stealing! I was simply borrowing without letting anyone know that I was keeping them for an infinite time period."

"Sure," they heard the other girls say, probably rolling their eyes too.

"Whatever," replied Girl C, "They aren't here anyway, ugh! Those Elites sure know how to play hide and seek!"

"I know!" exclaimed Lilia, "Seems we'll just have to see them in class."

As the girls walked away, they heard one of the girls say, "Oh please, the only one that has class with an Elite is you, Lilia! It's not fair!"

Cautiously, the group got up from their hidden spot, Julie was a bit confused so she asked, "Elite?"

"Yeah," said Dawn as she brushed her skirt of dirt, "it's a title the school gives to the high achieving students per division."

"R-really? So does that mean you're all number 1 in something?"

"Sort of," replied May, "For example Lucas is basically number 1 in everything so, a good majority of the people that ran towards us were most his fan club; the only thing he isn't really good at is singing or anything artistically really," the group sweat dropped.

"While on the other hand," continued Leaf, "Dawn is good at singing and anything artistically and basically sucks at everything else," once again they sweat dropped.

'Wow, just how different can they get,' thought Julie.

"Drew, Ash, and Kenny," said Dawn, "are great in sports, while Leaf and Lyra are the best dancers in the school."

"And the rest just have fans just because they're part of the student council," continued Lyra, "Silver always had a fan club since back in middle school, as for Gary: girls have followed him since he was 10 or something; Dane is part of the cheerleading team, and Bianca won her last science experiment for demonstrating why teenagers tend to be sexually frustrated most of the time."

At the last one Julie felt she had just heard just about enough, "Okay…Too much information on that last one."

"Yeah…"

Clapping his hands, Gary exclaimed, "Well, first period is about to begin so!" They all turned to Julie, "who's your first period?"

Julie took out her neatly folded schedule and said, "Uh, it's Study of Evolution with Professor Rowan."

"Great, that means you have class with me and Lucas," replied Leaf as she grabbed her school bag, "let's get to class before the last bell rings."

They all parted at the door and went their separate ways. By some miracle or another, they hadn't encountered any other fan towards their destination to the second floor of the building, either that or they weren't making themselves known at the time.

By any means, Julie was just glad enough that she made it to her first class in one piece, maybe she should've taken Jessie and James's suggestion of wearing glasses on the first day to not bring up such a commotion so early.

Originally, Bianca was supposed to be the one from The Legend of Lugia, but then I found that Bianca from Best Wishes was so adorable, that I just couldn't help it. I wasn't going to use any of the characters from Black and White since I wasn't really into the series or know most of the pokemon since I stopped watching/playing after Diamond and Pearl. So if anything, I'll just start watching Best Wishes if I decide to add some of the other characters, but for now it's only going to be her and that's it.

Oh! And I'll most likely use the Pokemon from DP and before x.x Since I don't really know much of the ones from BW, sorry D:
