Harry and Ron marched solemnly behind Snape, sure they were about to be expelled.
Ron, also, stared down sadly at the remnants of his wand, which was snapped in half by the Whomping Willow.
They followed Snape into his office worrying about their future, Harry in particular.
"The Sorting Ceremony is over," McGonagall told the troublesome duo.
Ron had asked to at least be able to see his sister being sorted.
"Congratulations, Mr. Weasley, your sister is in Gryffindor."
She sent them up to their tower after explaining that she would be sending letters to their guardians.
Percy followed Hermione up stairs that lead to the Gryffindor tower. She had asked Percy W. what the password was so he, Danny, and Ed could settle in before all the first years came.
They came to a stop in front of a rather. . . large woman.
"Wattlebird," Hermione told the painting, which was moving. Really, actually moving.
The portrait swung open.
The common room was cozy; plush armchairs dotted the soft carpet, and a fireplace crackled off to one side.
Hermione turned to him and the others. "Take those stairs on the left then; they're all sorted by year," she told them, pointing at the aforementioned staircase.
As Percy started to walk to them he heard two snores, one was exceptionally loud.
They were coming from one of the couches facing the fire.
Percy looked at the others faces; they had heard it too.
Ed slowly walked over to investigate.
He peeked above the top of the couch, and what he saw made him smirk.
Ed turned to the others.
"It's Potter and Wveasley."
Everyone came over to look and started laughing when they saw that the two had fallen asleep and had curled up together.
Hermione was already planning to use it as blackmail to get them to study.
Ron and Harry groggily woke up, awakened by the group's boisterous giggle fit.
Harry tumbled off the couch after noticing his and Ron's position.
After the snickering had died out, they all headed of to their rooms.
Ed and Percy awkwardly walked together, now realising they were sharing a room for the rest of their time in Hogwarts.
Meanwhile, Danny followed his twin and Ron; both were pouting.
Ed spotted which beds where theirs in an instant, as they were the only ones without any personal touches; both beds were the closest ones to the window.
Ed sat on his bed which had his trunk at the foot; he stared out at the stars.
Percy also looked out the window; you could see for miles.
He was mystified by the way the Forbidden Forest seemed to stretch forever.
Danny settled into his room, which he shared with Ron, Harry, and three other boys.
The boys decided to head back down to the common room and talk.
Fred, George, and their friend, Lee Jordan, climbed the stairs leading to their room.
When they entered they spotted Ed fast asleep; Percy had gone back down a while ago
The three mischievous boys grinned, ready to prank the boy.
They had somehow found out that Ed was sensitive about his height, and decided that it was the perfect time to find out if that was true.
George took out a small rocket; it was red and the size of a marble.
Lee took out his wand and whispered a spell, "Incendio." A small flame light at the tip of his wand.
He moved the petite flickering fire under the small wick that poked out of the spheroid.
The wick caught. George, or was it Fred, dropped the ball and ran out of the room along with his partners in crime.
Once the burning string reached the firework it started to spin around, shooting out red sparks.
George/Fred's voice rang out.
"Wake up shorty!" it yelled.
Ed woke up sputtering, falling out of bed.
"Ver sind sie kle iner als ein ku~ōku?!" he ranted.
He heard the trio by the door; they were trying not to laugh.
He turned to them, a hard glare on face.
They ran off, laughing loudly.
Ed stomped out to the common room.
Percy had to force himself not to laugh at Ed's appearance. It looked as if Ed had gone a round with a electrical socket.
Then Ed grabbed the twins and Lee by the collar. Nobody knows how; they were at least a foot taller than him.
He dragged them up the stairs and back into their room.
This all happened quite overdramatically, much to the amusement of the crowd, who had just returned from the feast.
Ron, Harry, and Danny all burst out cackling; and Hermione looked very close to doing the same.
Danny stopped after a bit and looked at his schedule, he had taken the make up exams and enjoyed most of the classes, however he had only been taught by McGonagall.
He had heard from Harry that the new Defense Against the Dark professor seemed like a horrible teacher so far.
Danny looked at his twin, then stared into the distance.
"I wonder what this year will be like," he thought.

Oh I realized I did a really bad job with timeline so,
Arty: 11 edited age. Taking place a bit before the third book.
Percy: 14 edited age. First chapter takes place in the small amount of summer left after his first quest.
Danny: 12 edited age. Taking place sometime after Ultimate Enemy.
Harry: 12. Yep, second year. . .
Ed: 14(Really the storyline is sped up rather than his age being different.) Taking place. . . I'll figure it out. . .I think. . .
