The battle part 2
Kendall's P.O.V.:
Okay let's get a quick recap done shall we? So we were going great for the first part of the battle then that rat launched an arrow at Peter which caused him to fall and now we are losing. Oh great! What am I going to do?
Kiera's P.O.V.:
I was right near Carlos and Kendall helping them fight off the creatures coming to us. All of a sudden, the Wizard approached and knocked down one of our creature turned into stone. Okay not nice. Still in the sky I could see the gryphons helping but it wasn't doing any good for Hawk was taking them down left and right by turning them to stone then knocking them to the ground. I could sense this was starting to get crazy and I wasn't sure if there was anything left in the book to use to take him down. Now it is getting really crazy and I am not sure how they will go through this. "Carlos, there's too many. I can't hold them back. Get Lauren, James, and Logan. Bring them home we have to stay safe," Kendall screamed. "No. You boys are going to stay and fulfill the battle with the prophecy no matter how long it takes," I shouted as I hit a minotaur. "I'm sorry Keira but this is dangerous and we have to stay safe," Kendall told me through the clashing of swords. I looked to see Carlos taken out of battle by Mr. Beaver. Father, what are they to do, I thought looking at the boys who I thought were the destined royals.
Carlos's P.O.V.:
I was halfway up on the rocks climbing out when I saw the Wizard or should I say Hawk from a distance with his wand and sword. I realized that moment Hawk was going to stone Kendall. I couldn't let that happen. "Okay I need to do something in order to save Kendall and undo my deeds, so if I just," I spoke then got an idea. "Bingo. Beaver stay up by the rocks I'll be right back," I called out to him unsheathing my sword. "Are you crazy Carlos? He said get out," he shouted. "Well there's one other thing you should remember," I told him. "What's that," he asked. "Kendall's not king yet and neither am I," I shouted and began to run over to Kendall hoping to get before the Wizard in time to save my friend. I got near the point where I would jump and break Hawk's wand when the rat aka Ginnabrick got in my way so you know what I did? I ran by him and my sword cut off his beard. Oh did he need to shave. I soon tackled him like I did to a team in the hockey days and he fell to the ground. The Wizard was almost at Kendall. Raising his sword and wand ready to strike as he approached. Only got one shot at this, I thought as I jumped into the air from the rock I ran on with my sword in hand before nearly landing on the wand to strike it. Not to mention gave a good battle cry but Hawk moved the wand just in time.
Hawk's P.O.V.:
"YOU," I yelled. "That's right its me hawk and your time is up," Carlos smirked. "trying to be the hero huh? That's not going to work before I end you," I told him as I thrust my wand to his body.
Carlos's P.O.V.:
He was about to turn me into stone! "No but this is ends now," I said moving my sword and breaking the wand just in time before the magic came. A blue light shone from the wand after I broke it and the crystals shattered. Everyone stopped as they heard the crack and looked at me.
Keira's P.O.V.:
Carlos, he broke Hawk's wand. I don't believe it! He did it!
Carlos's P.O.V.:
The moment was short lived when Hawk started to sword fight me and twirl my sword before taking the other end of the wand and stabbing me in the chest as I groaned in pain before slowly falling to the ground and letting darkness overcome me.
Kendall's P.O.V.:
"Carlos" I screamed as he went down. Okay that is it no one messes with me or my friends. I have to do this. I ran to the Wizard grabbing my sword out of a creature that I killed. Hawk knew I was coming and he got his swords who knew I was ready to fight him and we engaged in sword fight. "Well, well Kendall surprised to see you once again. I should have destroyed you when I had the chance," Hawk snarled fighting me. "Well honestly, I wouldn't after you had James in the palm of your hand," I shot back clashing his sword with mine. "Did I ever do that to your friend when all he wanted was fame," he replied. "Yes but he dreamt of it and there is no way you can tempt that into me," I said shoving Hawk to the ground. "Think again you pest," he said tripping my leg and holding the swords high in the air. "Okay that's it," I mumbled and got back up fighting Hawk with everything I can. I dodged every attack he could think of and he almost slit my throat but I can manage ducking which I did. I can do this. I could sense his moves but honestly, my energy was giving out and I wanted to surrender yet that changed in a matter of seconds when I heard a growl coming from the mountains.
Jayden's P.O.V.:
Lauren and I were on my horse galloping to the battle site right behind Aslan. Lauren gasped for a second and looked up. "Lauren, what's wrong," James asked as he rode on one of the centaurs. "Carlos is down. He broke Hawk's wand," Lauren told them. "No way," James gasped. "He did my son. Come, we must get to the battle," Aslan told us. "Yes step on it Jayden," I told my brother. "On it sis. Yah," I called to my horse as we galloped to the battle field. I could hear the fighting and clashing going on but I couldn't see what was happening. "Wait on the lower rocks my young ones. Until I roar, run up the cliff and we will fight," Aslan told us as we ran. "Yes Aslan," we told him and soon parted ways to the lower cliffs. James and Logan slipped off his back and joined a few more centaurs as we arrived at the rocks. I sensed Aslan breathing as he ran to the cliff and in his glory. He smirked for a little bit and soon roared. "That's our cue guys," I told them. Lauren jumped off my horse as Logan and James followed her up the cliff with weapons drawn at the ready. "Care for backup," James asked. I could tell Kendall smiled in a way as he looked back. "LOS ANGELES AND NARNIA," Lauren cried out and everyone including me roared in approval of her battle cry. "Lauren jump on," I told my sister grabbing her hand as she jumped back onto my horse and we galloped onto the field.
Kendall's P.O.V.:
"Impossible," The wizard said speechless. I looked out and saw Aslan alive. "More like anything is possible Hawk," I smirked. Hawk looked at me gobsmaked as Lauren, Logan, James and a figure who I honestly didn't know but had some resemblance to Lauren standing on a cliff. "LOS ANGELES AND NARNIA," I heard. That had to be Lauren, I realized then the backup came running down the hill as I looked. Hawk used this to attack me. "Hey you can't do that," I told him. "Yes I can and besides you are nothing like King Peter, you are weak," he told me clanging my sword. "I am not weak," I shouted fighting him every time with all the energy I could muster but I felt this would be it.
Third Person's P.O.V.:
Creatures kept fighting hard and valiantly as the backup came through. Lauren was on the horse with Jayden as they rode slashing creatures back and forth but Lauren gasped all of a sudden. "Lauren what is it," Jayden asked. "Aslan. Kendall's down," she shouted to the lion. "I got it Lauren. Go join your firends," he told her. "Yes sir," she said as Jayden stopped to let her slip off the horse to join Logan and James. Kendall was fighting Hawk but soon tripped again as he tore away his shield. Kendall cried in pain as a sword was brought down into the armor. "Say goodbye Peter," Hawk taunted lifting the sword to finish him. Yet Aslan, arrived in the nick of time and Hawk looked up in shock but afterwards felt the ground move with him as he landed on the ground with Aslan on top. In a matter of seconds, Hawk stared at Aslan and then he ate him. "Avert the eyes," Lauren called as everyone looked away not wanting to see the gross eating of the Wizard. But, in another place the stone melted away from an army man who breathed in relief knowing he would reunite with his daughter and son.
Kendall's P.O.V.:
I got the sword out of my shoulder plate and stood up watching Aslan devour Hawk. I know gross. The creatures that helped us were slowly moving away as if time stopped but I had a feeling they would still be with us. Aslan turned around seeing me as I looked nervous. "Well," I asked. "It is finished my son. You have done it," Aslan proclaimed to me. I nodded and smiled at the news. I did it! I actually did it! The prophecy was fulfilled. "Kendall," several voices called out to me. I turned to see Logan, Lauren and James coming over. "Hey where were you guys? I was worried sick," I said hugging Lauren. "We joined Aslan last night for a little bit then he got killed and let's just say," Logan explained a little bit. "We had to get backup," James and Lauren added. "Good thing you did but in all honesty, Carlos helped a lot. He broke the Wizard's wand just to stop him from stoning people," I added. "Yeah. It's a way to right a wrong," Keira said coming over. "Keira," the guys and Lauren called and soon hugged her happy that it was safe. Now we can rule as rulers. "Hey guys, has anyone seen Carlos," Logan asked. Oh no, Carlos! "We got to find him," I said as we took off running to find him in the field.
Lauren's P.O.V.:
We found Carlos gasping for breath which honestly could mean no good as he was surrounded by Mrs. Knight, Katie, Kelly and Gustavo. Ginnabrick the dwarf was sneaking from behind to finish him. "Carlos no," James screamed as he got an arrow from his quiver, notched it and flew right into his chest ending the rat for good. I ran over with the others to find Kendall kneeling down next to him. "How is he," I asked Gustavo. "He's been breathing like this since he broke the wand. The wound must be deep," he told us. "Logan, your healing water. Trying using it with the cordial," I told Logan. "That can work," he said as we both got our bottles out, unscrewed them to let one drop of liquid fall into his mouth and the other on his blood soaked tunic. Carlos's mouth or lip I should say got hold of the juice and slipped it in silently. The water did the same too.
James's P.O.V.:
A few seconds went by and nothing happened. "Were too late," I said choking up and starting to sob. "Carlos," Kendall cried as did Logan and Lauren. "We'll let you guys be," Katie said standing up and walking over to Aslan. I knelt in the ground crying and holding Carlos's head gently when something happened. I felt movement underneath my body. "Guys look," I gasped through my tears. Carlos was breathing and coughing this time. I couldn't believe it.
Kendall's P.O.V.:
"Come on buddy. Come on," I encouraged him as he got back to normal breath. "He's alive. He's okay," Lauren smiled and I couldn't agree more as he looked at us. "Why the sad faces guys," he asked us. We just looked at him and I gave Carlos the biggest hug I could master as he sat up. "The more important question is when are you going to do as you were told buddy," I asked him with a chuckle. "Beats me," he replied. I smiled and Lauren wrapped her arms around him as I joined in with Logan and James. There was nothing the five of us could do together. Then, Carlos looked over and saw our friends smiling and crying along with Aslan, Keira and another figure who looked like Lauren stood by watching.
Lauren's P.O.V.:
I smiled at Aslan as he came foward. I could sense he was proud of us. "Jayden," I smiled at my brother. "Great job sis," he smiled. "SIS," the guys asked. "I'll explain later," I told them. Aslan brought the creature to life again before looking at us. I just remembered my cordial lying on the ground and picked it up. Logan had his healing water and looked at me with a smile. I nodded and got up with Logan. "Lauren, Logan. Where are you guys going," Kendall asked as we took off running to heal any of the wounded we could find while Aslan and Keira healed the Narnian creatures. It's over. Finally, the battle is done. Good has prevailed!
