Aftermath of the battle
Lauren's P.O.V.:
After Logan and I healed many creatures with our friends and reunited family, we walked back to camp and were greeted with a sea of people and creatures who cheered for us knowing the battle was over. I couldn't help but smile along with Logan and the others as many of our friends now came to us with hugs but curtsies and bows. I guess they didn't know we were descendants of royalty until today. I think it was meant to be secret for a reason. Jayden was walking by me and I couldn't help but smile at my brother who I was glad to be back in my family again. I wish dad was here to see this. "Kendall," a voice sounded. All of us turned to see Mrs. Knight and Katie come up to us with huge smiles and hugged their son and brother. "Mom," Kendall smiled hugging her. "I'm so proud of you my son, you did it, all of you. Your time has come," she told him. "I know mom, thanks for raising your son to be the destined high king," Kendall told her in the embrace. "I know I did," she smiled and Katie soon came over. "Your High Majesty," she curtsied to Kendall. "You know your still my baby sister," he told her. "Your still my big brother," she smiled giving him a hug. "I know I am," he smiled. "Dogs," Gustavo said to the guys coming over. Oh no, I thought. Here comes another rant.
Logan's P.O.V.:
Kelly looked at us with huge smiled before going into a deep curtsy to us and Gustavo placed his hand over his arm, the Order of the Lion salute and got on one knee before us. "I'm so proud of you boys and cat," he said looking at Lauren. She smiled. "No need to bow before us Gustavo, were not royalty yet but we are still your dogs," James smiled. "I know and I'm so proud of you," he told us with tears in his eyes before giving us a hug. I couldn't believe this finally happened. It's over, our prophecy is to be fulfilled. A voice soon cleared out through the camp and we looked to see Aslan and Keira standing near the main tent. Aslan soon spoke to the crowd, "My friends and people of Narnia including Los Angeles! Today is a glorious day. I proclaim to you your suffering is no more. The Wizard has been defeated and good has overcome the evil, the prophecy of the destined rulers is near fulfillment," Everyone cheered and hugged one another in celebration. "Tonight we celebrate and honor those who gave their lives in this Great War," Kiera proclaimed as we went into a moment of silence. I thought about our dad and wondered if he is okay. "Before we celebrate this occasion, I must mark the honor of a young man who did a brave thing like his ancestor King Edmund. He bravely defended his friends and his country by being himself, and honorably sacrificed himself and his friends from being turned into stone by breaking the wand of the Wizard, bringing justice and now hope to our land and people. Carlos Garcia, descendant of King Edmund clean your sword and step forward," Aslan proclaimed as Carlos looked at us, we nodded to him saying to go forward. "Go buddy," I whispered.
Carlos' P.O.V.:
I took a deep breath and walked over to Aslan and Keira then knelt before them unsheathing my sword and sticking it into the ground. I kept my eyes downcast as I felt Aslan's paw and Kiera's hand touch my shoulder with the sword of King Edmund. It felt heavy but light to be quite honest. "Rise Sir Carlos, Breaker of the Wizard's wand, knight of Los Angeles and Narnia. Defender of Justice," Aslan proclaimed as I stood up slowly with my sword and faced everyone. They smiled and began to applaud for me as did my friends and everyone cheered. I look to see my best friends all smiling and applauding me. I cried a little bit and ran into their arms as they gave me hugs along with Jayden. "Now, let the celebrations begin," Keira shouted and everyone cheered as fauns came out with music and merriment rang through the camp.
Lauren's P.O.V.:
I asked my ladies if I can change from my camp dress into a suitable one for the festivities and they took me back to my tent so I could change my dress. I changed from my camp dress to an amazing gold velvet style dress with a red brocade underskirt. The sleeves of my dress were like the ones from the camp one I wore hours ago and the under sleeves were the same thing minus the brocade. The skirt was completely red but had a brocade pattern in yellow and red thread creating a sunset like look into the skirt. As for my hair, I had it down with a braid in the back with some waves. My ladies insisted on a me wearing a flower in my hair but I refused honestly. I also wore gold flats underneath the dress and I could see the celebrations still going on as I came out of the tent in my celebration dress. Logan also changed like I did. He wore a yellow embroidered shirt and a red doublet in front of the shirt. Red pants were also on his legs with brown cris cross boots and a gold/teal embroidered coat completed the look. Since we didn't have to leave for Cair Paravel by tomorrow, we all decided to have fun and celebrate the end of the evil with our soon to be subjects. I joined in with the fauns dancing for joy around the fire in celebration, laughing with everyone but more importantly having fun. "Having fun Lauren," Jayden asked coming from behind me. "Yep. I'm happy you and I are together again," I replied hugging him. "I know sis, me too. Ever since I left you all those years ago, I still miss you and dad. I hope he's okay," Jayden answered. "I bet he is. Hey, while were at it want to meet the rest of my friends," I asked with a smile. "Sure. Lead me to them," he smiled as we got up and walked over to Kendall, Carlos, Logan and James sitting near the fire.
Carlos's P.O.V.:
I have to admit the bonfire celebration is going along really well and the guys including me were having fun, loads of fun I should say. I looked to see Lauren and another person coming over to us with her. "Hey there's Lauren," I told the guys. They looked over and smiled when seeing her. "Hey Lauren," Logan greeted. "Hey guys, having fun," she asked us. "Yeah I still can't believe we did it. I think it goes to show that friendship is possible for anything," Kendall grinned. "Indeed Kendall. Anyway, since you guys are here I wanted to introduce you all to my brother, well," Lauren started to say. "Lost brother," James and Logan spoke. "Yeah for real this time. Guys, this is my brother Jayden Michael Shiba Ruiz. Jayden meet Kendall Knight, Carlos Garcia, James Diamond and Logan Mitchell," Lauren introduced us to her brother. "Hi guys, so nice to meet you at last. Good to see you Logan and James, I know we met earlier," Jayden told them. "Well nice to meet you finally Jayden. Lauren had told us about you once when we met. It must be amazing to be back with your sister," I told him. "It is. I missed her so much and she missed me so it's full circle," he smiled. "We can imagine," James added. "Yes Lauren told me a lot about you guys to on the way here. Oh wait, I forgot you two were in the conversation," Jayden said pointing to Logan and James.
"That's right but we mentioned Kendall and Carlos as well," Logan added. "Yes and Jayden any sibling of Lauren is a friend of ours," Kendall smiled. "Thank you Kendall. I can't believe I get to be with my sister again and see you guys become ruler of Los Angeles and Narnia. I know one thing is, when you have something that is your greatest strength such as friendship and loyalty, there is one thing you can do," he told us. "What's that," I asked. "Change the world," he smiled. Lauren gave him a big hug and sat down with Logan before someone came to us. "Your Majesties," a faun saluted. "Commander Armus. What brings you over," I asked. "I've been sent personally by Aslan to tell Queen Lauren and Jayden that he requests a private audience with you in his tent," he told us. "Lauren and Logan," Kendall questioned. "Just the two he requested," Armus told us.
Lauren's P.O.V.:
"Commander Armus, tell Aslan we accept his request for an audience and will come with you right away," I told him. "Of course my queen. He knows and is waiting for you too," he said before leaving. "We'll be back guys," I told the boys as Jayden and I walked to the main tent in the middle of camp. "What makes you think Aslan requested us Jay," I asked my brother before we entered. "I don't know Lauren. I hope it's about dad," he said as we walked into the tent where Aslan waited for with plush pillows around him like a throne.
Jayden's P.O.V.:
"Aslan you requested to see us," Lauren asked. "Yes I did dear ones. Please come near me," he told us as we drew forward and sat facing him together. "Weren't you enjoying the festivities Aslan? I saw you leave so soon after your speech," I told him. "I was my son but that was before I was reached some news from my father who told me to tell you two," he said. "What is the news," Lauren wondered. "It's about your father. My father wishes to bring you good news on this day," he said to us. "What is it," I asked. "He told me after I devoured the Wizard or Hawk the spell of stone was lifted from your father. He is alive," he told us. "Dad is alive," Lauren and I asked. "Yes," he smiled. "B-b-but how is it possible? I thought dad after the invasion he," I sputtered. "Died," Aslan asked. "Yes," I told him. "To tell you the truth Lauren and Jayden, your father did lose consciousnesses after sealing away the Nighlock for a long period of time; but I came to him and gave him a choice. The choice of joining me in heaven and my country or stay on Earth to watch you both grow from a distance and reunite with you," he explained. "What did he choose," Lauren asked in wonder. "He chose to stay on Earth and I respected his decision knowing that my father knows when his time to come home will happen," Aslan answered.
"But, what did he do afterwards," I questioned. "After the invasion, your father went to join the military. The Army to be exact. He was every inch the same man that he was when he was a Power Ranger and missed you both very much. He yearned to see you both again," he smiled. "So, you mean that man that I was at my confirmation ceremony a month ago was really dad," Lauren asked. "Yes," he nodded. "How come you didn't tell us that dad was okay? Our family thought he died or went missing, including me," I wondered. "I told your mind to think he was gone or missing because I feared the forces of the Wizard would try to find you if they knew the truth. Especially with Lauren that the secret had to be protected," Aslan told us. "Ah," we realized. "Aslan, did the forces of the Wizard ever get to dad? I know you mentioned he was in stone," Lauren asked.
"They did as I mentioned to you a few days ago dear one but his love for you and for protecting your destiny made the spell easy to break. I know you thought he was dead but is alive and well," he told us. I couldn't help but cry happy tears along with Lauren as we both hugged knowing dad is okay and our family will be safe again. "I have to admit, this is the most amazing news I have ever heard since mom and dad announced I was going to be a big brother," I told Aslan giving him a hug. He chuckled. "I'm glad you are happy," he smiled. "Aslan, will dad be at the coronation ceremony," Lauren asked. "I can not guarantee it Lauren but be happy that your family is whole once again ," he smiled. "We will Aslan, thank you for telling us this news," I told him. "Your welcome. Now I bet you two want to tell the boys do you," he replied. "Oh yes," we smiled before getting up bowing to Aslan and ran out of the tent with happy smiles.
Lauren's P.O.V.:
"James, Carlos, Logan, Kendall. Big news," I shouted. "What's that Lauren," Logan asked after we found them sitting down in the spot they were before we left. "Should we tell them together Jay," I asked my brother. "We should Laur," he replied panting behind me. "What's the news," the guys asked. "Our father's alive," we told them. "What," the boys said in unison. "Yes. Aslan told us what happened to dad after the invasion and how he was with us all along," Jayden explained. "And how his love for us even the great secrecy it took to protect me and my destiny, it broke the stone from the Wizard's he's okay," I replied back. The boys soon cheered and Logan gave me a big bear hug and twirled me around while the guys high fived and hugged Jayden. "That is the most hugest news guys," Kendall exclaimed. "Yeah, I bet you guys didn't expect that," James said. "No we didn't at all. I can't believe dad's safe," I told them. "Me too Lauren but right now the most important thing is that our families and bonds are reunited and whole again," Jayden said. "Agreed," the boys replied. "And the prophecy will be fulfilled," I smiled. "Definite agree," the guys sang in unison. "Now, what are we all sitting for? Let's celebrate," I said. "Hey wait for me sis," Jayden said following me as the guys joined in while dancing with the creatures. Night fell soon at camp and I was at my favorite stargazing spot with Jayden. Logan and the others went to bed. "Hey look there's Leo, I can see him," Jayden said pointing him out in the sky. "Hey there's yours's," I smiled as we saw each other's constellations in the sky. I somehow knew everything was going to be great. "You know Jayden, it's great to have you back. I missed you growing up, "I told him. "I missed you too sis. I can't believe you are to be crowned queen soon and I could not be more proud of you," he replied. "But you were thousands of miles away," I said to him. "Yeah I was. Though, Uncle Ji did show me the pictures you always sent so that way I'm not missing out," he smiled. "True but this moment is forever, right here," I told him. "Right now," he answered as I felt music around me.
Lauren singing:
Now this is forever, it couldn't be better. I got my family again. Been waiting so long the moment has arrived and I couldn't be happier. I have my brother with me (with me- Jayden) and my dad for sure.(Yes for sure) And together we'll always be a family that stands strong. (stands strong) stands strong. "I can't wait for Hector and Jess to see you," I told him. "Yeah, I can't wait either. No matter what happens Lauren, I'm still your brother", Jayden answered. I smiled and started to yawn afterwards. "You getting tired Lauren", Jayden asked. "Yeah", I replied. "It's getting late. We better get to bed, we have traveling tomorrow," he said standing up and I joined him not before getting on his shoulders somewhat for a piggy back ride we did when I was young. Okay, didn't want to break a bone on him. I smiled and hugged my brother as we arrived at my tent where I got into bed and he stood by my side. "Night Lauren," Jayden said as he kissed my forehead. "Night Jay," I whispered back and soon I went to sleep.
