So sorry I've been away I just was so blocked on where to go in this story. Here's a short and sweet treat!

One year later...

"Ashley it's time to wake up." Spencer whispered into Ashley's ear. "Mmm five more minutes." Ashley said in her morning voice. Spencer kneeled by Ashley and kissed the side of her head. "Your morning voice is so hot." Ashley smiled with her eyes shut as she reached for Spencer. "Come back to bed."

"Oh no," Spencer backed away from the bed. "Last time I did that we wasted half the day away. "Yeah but it was so worth your while." Ashley tried to say in her huskiest voice. Spencer smiled and got up leaving the room. "Well if you get up it will be worth your while."

"Uggghhhh fine!" Ashley sat up and rubbed her eyes. She then flipped the sheets so she could get out of bed. She grabbed her robe to put on before exiting the beads door into the lofts kitchen. Spencer was bent over fishing out something from the cabinet. Ashley grabbed a magazine and swatted her butt. Spencer shot a playful disapproving face as she watched Ashley make her way to a bar stool. "That was for making me get up before three on a Saturday." Spencer grabbed the pan she had been looking for and placed it on the stove. "Well for getting up I'm rewarding you with breakfast a la Spencer."

"Mmm. can't wait. Where's the coffee a la Ashley?" Spencer laughed as she grabbed a mug and filled it with the coffee that just finished brewing. She set it down in front of Ashley as Kyla walked in through the front door. She was wearing yoga pants and a tank top and dripping in sweat. Ashley and Spencer looked at her, "Hey baby sister." Kyla couldn't hear her due to the headphones she was sporting with the iPod strapped to her arm. Ashley motioned for her to take out her headphones. "Yeah?"

"Why are you up at this ungodly hour and why do you smell like a sewer?"

"I wanted to align my chakras so I went for a run." Ashley rolled her eyed and turned back around sipping her coffee. Spencer smiled, "well I think that sounds nice. Next time you go let me know." Kyla nodded and disappeared into her room. "Hey! I'm making breakfast!" Spencer shouted at Ashley as she reached for a bagel on the counter. Hitting her on the back of the hand. "Ow! Gosh I didn't know breakfast was going to hurt."

"It will if you keep trying to spoil it." Ashley made a face and Spencer finished up the French toast putting blueberries and strawberries on top. "Here." Spencer put the plate in front of Ashley as she turned a page in her magazine. "Oh it looks yummy thank you baby." Ashley leaned over and gave Spencer a kiss. Spencer then returned to cooking a batch for Kyla and herself. Kyla came out and sat right next to Ashley. Spencer put down a plate full of food right in front of her. "Oh my goodness thank you so much. So glad you moved in. We would have starved without you."

"Um excuse me I cook." Ashley said obviously offended. "Ashley last time you cooked I awoke to black smoke and you frantically running around screaming trying to fan it. Like that was going to put out the fire."

"We're done talking." Ashley returned to her magazine as the other two girls laughed at her. "Ashley don't forget that you have a meeting today around three to talk to corporate about launching the new phase of Ashley Davies Records."

"Ugh don't remind me. I have to get all dressed up smile until my cheeks hurt and then pretend I'm interested in business."

"Ashley.."

"I know I know. I'm grateful, but sometimes I just want to be a performer."

"Well then perform for the meeting."

"Burn!" Kyla said through a mouthful of food. Ashley kicked her stool. Ashley rubbed her face and got up. "Ok I'll go get ready." She walked around and kissed Spencer on the cheek before disappearing into the room. "I'm starting to worry Kyla. She is taking way to much stress from this full time CEO job. All she wants to do is sleep and she gets so mad so easily now a days."

"Try not to worry she knows what she's doing."

"I just think she maybe needs to hire someone to take on that side of the business so she can get back to focusing on her music. She is happier with just performing."

"I think your right. Maybe we can hold a hire session to get someone to help her." Ashley walked out fully dressed in business attire. "One day I will burn these clothes."

"Ashley."

"Fine I'll at least donate them."

"Better." Ashley walked over to the living room and picked her car keys off the coffee table. She ran over to kiss Spencer on the cheek. "I will be back later I'm going to run out and do a few things go to the meeting and then I will be home for dinner or something."

"Ok I can pick something up on my way home from class?"

"Sure." Ashley said as she exited. Kyla finished her breakfast and began to wash her plate. Spencer spaced out into the distance. She came out of her haze when she saw Kyla's hand waving in front of her face. "Listen, Ashley is fine for right now. I think you need to just tell her how you're feeling. Honestly is key."

"Yeah I think so too."

"Ok well I'm heading out I have an audition and then Aiden said he needed my help with something."

"Ok." Kyla hugged Spencer before heading out. Spencer cleaned up and rubbed her neck. Something was going on with Ashley. She needed to figure it out.
