So hey again!

First off, thanks to all who reviewed and to the loyal readers reading this story!

So this is where the real action starts yet again.

It seems like this story is coming to an end! Aw damn. :(

But don't worry I have some type of sequel planned. Probably.

But for now, heres the next chapter.

Tony

I woke up groggy and feeling very disoriented. It took me a couple of seconds to realize that I wasn't sleeping with Pepper in Stark Tower. I was in the middle of the forest facing off with a couple of crazies.

I tried pushing myself into a sitting position but I found that for some reason, I couldn't. There was a strong invisible force keeping me down and it was weighing on me like a bowling ball.

The half bloods and avengers alike were waking up from what seemed like a horrible nightmare. I remembered the details clearly. Everything that happened with Rogers, Banner and I. I was shaken up pretty bad by it even if I didn't want to admit it.

Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Bruce and Rogers waking up as well. Rogers looked like he always did; buff, strong and definitely not that scrawny asthmatic kid. Bruce was back in his human form.

As I scanned the environment using my armour, I noticed Luke and Loki standing a few ways away from our group with their eyes closed.

"Sir there appears to be a bountiful amount of energy waves surrounding those two." JARVIS notified me dutifully. I tensed at the thought. I was right after all. Loki was the one who had made those nightmares in our heads.

But it wasn't real. They were just that-nightmares.

I tried to reassure myself on the thought, but to be honest, I didn't think I could get over it that easily. It was like reliving the entire situation in Afghanistan all over again. I shuddered slightly

The fogginess I was feeling wasn't going away. I knew for sure that it had to do with the energy that Loki and the Luke were giving off. I had to do something but I was too weak to get up.

It seemed to be the same with the others when I saw Percy try to get up only to fall back down.

"Tony…?" Bruce muttered. I didn't have the energy to answer him back.

"You see Luke? We can rule these petty creatures." Loki said with a sneer.

Luke had a slightly…apprehensive look on his face. Like he wasn't sure he was doing the right thing or not. But he nodded anyways.

Loki casually walked over to Thor who was now struggling to lift himself off the ground. It wasn't working and Loki smirked as he kicked him in the face, hard. Thor groaned but didn't do anything because he couldn't. I cringed. That looked like it hurt.

"I've wanted to do that for a long time."

Just as Loki was about to beat up Thor some more, an angel from heaven arrived.

Well actually…Fury arrived.

I saw him creep up behind Loki without Luke noticing. I couldn't help but smile at the sight of him. He lifted a finger to his mouth in a "shh" motion and then…he jumped him.

"Agh what the-" Loki screamed out.

Fury managed to hold on to his neck long enough so that the spell was lifted. I didn't feel drowsy anymore. I picked myself off the ground as fast as I could and was about to go help Fury, but it was too late.

"YOU DARE?" Loki yelled as he used his magic to throw Fury away. He landed at least twenty metres away hard on the ground.

He didn't get up.

Anger burst out of me as I ran towards Loki.

"YOU SON OF A BITCH!" I converted all of my power to my chest piece and a white-hot repulser beam shot straight for Loki.

When he deflected it with his magic, I only got angrier. Just as I was about to attempt to shoot him again, Bruce stopped me. I looked at him with fury in my eyes as he shook his head slowly. I relaxed albeit frustratingly and lowered my hands.

Loki chuckled darkly. "You people do not have what it takes. We will win these games and there is nothing you can do to stop us!"

"Nothing? My ass." I spat.

He ignored me and instead turned to Luke and said loudly enough for us to hear, "Kill the Half Bloods. Leave the Avengers for me."

Luke nodded and ran towards where the Half Bloods were grouped together. I tore my attention away from them and instead turned to Loki who was approaching us.

I glanced at Bruce and nodded. He understood what I was trying to say. He closed his eyes and slowly but surely started to grow green. I saw him grow larger and larger until he was fully transformed into the Hulk. When he was fully grown, he turned to me, sneered, and nodded.

"Lets go." I said as my faceplate slammed down and I took off to the skies.

As the Hulk and I joined the others, Loki had already materialized a replacement staff into his hands. It looked bigger and frankly, more powerful than the other one he used to have.

"My brother has more power than any of us can imagine now." Thor stated darkly.

"Well that's a good way to stay positive." I mumbled.

"Okay, we need a plan." Started the Captain. "Thor and Stark, you stay in the skies. Only come down if you see one of needs help. Clint, you stay on the ground. Look our for anyone in the distance." Rogers glances at Romanoff. "Natasha, you and I will be the first assault. Oh and Hulk…smash."

Just as we were about to set off to do our jobs, a voice came from behind us.

"You know, you could specify what I could do."

We all turned around in disbelief. The Hulk's eyes had turned brown for a brief second and the voice that came out wasn't the Hulk's, it was Bruce's.

"Yeah, I am never going to get used to that." I quipped.

I could practically feel the shock on Natasha, Clint, and Thor's faces.

"Wait what…"

"HUMANS PUNY!" Said the Hulk, his voice was deep and very different from Bruce's.

A few seconds later, "Shut up Hulk." It was Bruce. "Tony you didn't tell them?"

It took me a few seconds to realize he was talking to me. "Yeah I kinda didn't have the time to…" Hulk/Bruce sighed.

"HULK AND BANNER COME TOGETHER!' Came the Hulk's voice again.

"Right, that's right. I don't know how, I don't know why but it seems pretty good to me." Bruce again.

"Whoa what? No more Hulk outs?" Romanoff exclaimed.

"That's right."

Clint shifted his feet. "Man, that is beyond cool."

"So friend Banner is in control!" Thor exclaimed.

"NO HULK IS CONTROL!" There was a pause before the Hulk mumbled quietly, "Fine…Banner and Hulk are in control."

"Ok, that's unnerving." Said Rogers. "But now we need to focus on fighting Loki. Hulk…Bruce, whatever, you only come in as a last resort. Do not go for Loki first. But if you see anything we can't handle, come help okay?"

"Fine with me."

"HULK SMASH!"

"The rest of you, remember your places…and don't get killed."

We nodded and took off to our places. I rose up into the sky with Thor and observed from above. As I watched, I sawRomanoff and Rogers charge Loki. Cap threw his shield and Loki deflected it with ease. He used his sceptre and slowly raises his arms. Simultaneously from the ground rose…things.

They looked like dirt monsters if I had any idea of how those looked. Their entire bodies were made of dirt. They didn't have any faces or anything like that. Just vague arms, legs and a torso. They seemed to listen to whatever Loki said, which was definitely not a good thing. Not to mention there were at least 20 of them

I took off over to where the main battle was taking place. I shot a repulser blast at one of the creatures and it disintegrated into dust. I saw the Cap try to throw his shield at one of them. All he managed to do was cut off one of its arms.

I helped him by shooting another repulser blast at the thing before it could grow back its arm. It disintegrated into dust just like the last one had. Rogers glanced at me and nodded a thanks. I nodded curtly back.

Loki laughed maniacally as he continued to control the dirt things. I had to look for an opening to attack him.

But that had to wait. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Fury still lying down on the ground near a tree a few ways away from the battle. I quickly flew over to him when I saw that there was no immediate danger in store for anyone. I landed with a thud beside him. My faceplate lifted and I glanced around with wide eyes.

"JARVIS how are his vitals?" I asked frantically.

"They seem to be holding steady. His breathing and heart rate are normal however he seems to have some broken bones."

I grunted in frustration. But before I could do anything, I had to wake him up.

"Fury! Fury wake up! Fury!" I shook and prodded his still body as much as I could to get him to wake up. A minute later and his eyelid began to flutter. As they opened, he took a few seconds to get into focus.

"…Stark?"

"Yeah and we have to go. Now." I draped an arm around his shoulder and helped him stand up. He grimaced as I touched his shoulder so I pulled my arm to somewhere less painful. But as soon as he put his weight on his feet, he cried out.

"What is it?"

"It's-agh-it's my left leg…I think it's broken real bad.

Oh come on.

"Okay, we have to get you to Banner, maybe he'll know what to do."

Fury nodded and swallowed up his pain as we slowly hobbled towards the war zone. The others were still battling the mud creatures. A lot of them were gone now thankfully and only 7 remained.

Loki was going hand in hand with Thor and they were both going strong. The Hulk would pop in and help them at times.

But when the Hulk noticed Fury and I slowly making our way towards them, he came leaping towards us. I felt Fury tensebeside me.

"It's okay he has control now."

Fury looked up at me with a raised eyebrow but didn't question it so I had the feeling that he believed me.

"What happened?" Banners voice came.

"He has a bad broken left leg and possibly a broken or dislocated shoulder. To put it frankly, he's pretty lucky."

Banner cringed. He took in a deep breath and slowly but surely he sunk down to his normal size. Thankfully he still had his jumpsuit on when he transformed back.

I carefully placed Fury on the ground and Bruce knelt beside him to look at his leg. When he noticed me still looming over him, he said, "Go, they need you in the battle, not here."

I nodded and without a seconds hesitation took off towards the battle.

By then, Thor was having trouble with Loki. With each blow Loki would just redirect Thor's lightning to double back at him. Thor didn't seem to have enough energy to dodge each blow.

"See brother, you were never good enough to beat me!"

Thor didn't answer him.

I saw legolas try to help Thor by shooting some arrows straight for Loki but soon got occupied with two more mud creatures. Widow was too busy dealing with some other type of far-fetched creature I would never have thought of and the Captain was being swamped by more mud creatures.

I watched as Thor was thrown back by an energy field so powerful that the grass beneath him was ripped from the ground.

That was when I realized that I was the only one left. I had to defeat Loki.

This is a horrible idea isn't it.

I shook the thought out of my head as I took off towards the ever powerful Loki.

Ok so guys, tell me how it was! As always, I love your feedback. *wink wink*

And another thing. Since I just started school again-grade 10, the time between my updates will probably become longer. But don't worry I'll have them up as soon as I can.

And don't forget to review!
