Whassup peeps I'm back with another chapter for y'all.

There's only a couple of chapters left in this story and damn has it been a long ride XD.

I miighhht have a sequel. Maybe, I'm thinking about it.

But for now, here's another chapter.

Bruce

To be honest, I felt kind of left out by not being involved in the battle, tending to Fury.

I found out that he had a bad broken leg, a sprained shoulder and at least one broken rib. I tried doing to him what I had done to Tony when he was dying, but it didn't work. Maybe it was only a one time thing, I don't know. So I was left trying to fix his leg first.

"Okay, this is going to hurt…a lot." I said with a grimace.

"Way to be discreet." He said with a cringe.

"Okay, one, two….three!"

I violently twisted his leg so that the bone fell back into place and Fury screamed with pain. I cringed at the sound he made and moved myself to check out his shoulder. There were no broken bones and it wasn't dislocated so I told him to go easy on it. Same with the rib.

As I examined the rest of his body, feeling for any pain anywhere, he surprised me. "Banner, you should go help the others."

I try to protest. "But you're hurt and-"

He cut me off. "That's an order, they need you."

I looked at him with a raised eyebrow and then sighed. "Fine, okay. Just…stay here."

"Where am I going to go?" He said with a smirk.

I gave him a small smile as I got up to survey the scene of the battle. All of the avengers were busy with the creatures that Loki summoned…except for Tony. He was flying straight towards Loki and he's waiting for him with a malicious grin.

My eyes widened and I started to run towards them. Tony's not going to be able to take him on alone. He needs the Hulk.

I took in a deep breath and let it out.

Hulk, It's time to come out.

I can practically feel him grin as I grew in size and weight in one fluid motion.

We need to help Tony.

HULK SMASH PUNY GOD!

I grinned. Exactly.

My mouth-or rather the Hulk's mouth formed into a sneer as we charged towards Loki. In the distance, I saw Tony attempting to shoot Loki with repulser blasts through a green haze I watched as Loki calmly deflected each one with ease. I grimaced. This was not going to be easy.

As Tony tried to land a punch to his face, Loki bats him away with his sceptre. Tony sails back and lands a couple metres away onto the ground.

I growled. No one hurts Tony.

Hulk? Smash.

He doesn't even answer me and instead just lets out a violent roar as he jumped towards Loki. Loki's surprised as he sees us sailing towards him about to squish like a pancake as the Hulk did so before. In the last second, he moved away but its not enough so that he doesn't get hurt. The Hulk and I land on the ground with a deafening boom and the Hulk used his arms to smash the ground right in front of Loki.

Loki screamed out in surprise as our arms land on the ground making a shock wave ripple through the mud and grass hence throwing him back.

By that time, Tony had recovered and flown back to me. "Good job buddy."

I didn't have the strength to answer so the Hulk just grunted. In the distance, I saw the Half Bloods running towards our battle. I scanned their area for Luke but didn't see him anywhere. I didn't have time to wonder why. The Half Blood must've killed him already and I had to admit I was a little impressed.

I reverted my attention back to Loki who was picking himself up off the ground. He had a fire in his eyes unlike anything I'd ever seen.

"ENOUGH!" He cried with fury. As he says this, he looks right at me with an intense death glare.

He swipes his sceptre to one side and a wave rolls over top of me and only me. As it sails above me, I freeze. I can't move and the Hulk can't move either. He's screaming inside of my head and I can barely hear the outside world. All I can hear is his roars.

As I look around, everything is blurry and covered in a blue hue. I can't control the Hulk's actions and it's like he has full control once again but I still know what's going on. Like I'm sitting in the backseat of a car.

And I knew what was happening.

Loki had taken control of the Hulk.

Somewhere in the distance, I heard Tony calling my name. I can't answer him. I can't do anything and neither can the Hulk.

And that's when I heard Loki's voice in my head.

"Kill them. The avengers, the Half Bloods, kill them all!"

His voice echoes in my head and I can feel the Hulk trying to fight for control, but it doesn't work. He starts to go after the Avengers against my will.

'No Hulk stop!' I tried shouting in my head, but it doesn't work. Either he can't hear me, or can't answer me. I'm inclined to think the latter.

I watched as my teammates try to avoid the Hulk's rampage while also trying to fight Loki. But the Hulk is too powerful, they can only concentrate on him.

I can vaguely feel Steve's shield hit me, but it doesn't do much. The same went for Natasha's bullets and Clint's arrows. The Half Bloods try slashing at me with their swords and spears, but I don't feel anything.

Tony flew up to my face and I feel irrational anger fill me. The idiot! He was going to get killed!

"Bruce, Hulk, buddy please think. Loki's taken control of you and-

He's cut off as the Hulk bats him to the side. I gasp as he hits a tree but sigh in relief as he gets up slowly and I can tell he's in pain.

That's when I knew that I was the only one who could stop all of this.

'Hulk,' I strain to speak. 'Hulk, you have to stop.'

I can hear him grunt and say, 'HULK KNOWS!'

'Then stop!'

'…Hulk can't.'

'Yes you can! We'll do it together.'

The Hulk humphed in agreement in my mind but still did not stop trying to kill everyone that was on our side.

That was when an idea hit me. If Loki was controlling the Hulk, he had to be in our mind somewhere. Without some part of his subconscious in our conscious mind, there would be no way he could control us.

So if I were to push Loki out of my brain figuratively, think so strongly that whatever he was telling me to do was wrong, then maybe we could get out of his spell. It was a long shot but it was better that nothing.

I probed deep inside of my brain as the Hulk continued to smash our allies. I could feel the Hulk's mind in there but eventualy, I came across something foreign. I examined it per say and found that it was in fact a part of Loki's subconscious. It was the part of our brain telling us what to do, controlling our motor reflexes.

'Hulk I found it.'

I led the Hulk's mind towards where Loki's subconscious was situated. As we approached it in our mind, I told the hulk, 'We have to push it out. Get out of his control.'

The Hulk grunted but couldn't do anything more as we were still under Loki's control. I concentrated on that part of my brain and continually told myself that it didn't belong there. The Hulk did the same and I could feel him shaking from the stress.

The Hulk stops smashing our teammates and I can feel Loki's anger start to grow.

'What are you doing? Keep smashing!'

I hear his voice echo throughout my brain but I ignore it and I told the Hulk to do the same. I could feel sweat drip down the Hulk's body as we double over from the strain it takes to get out of his control. It's almost too much and I can feel myself transforming back into myself.

After 2 minutes of pushing Loki's subconscious out of my head he's finally out. The haze washes out of me and I can see and think clearly. I regain control of my movements and it feels like a new kind of freedom.

The Hulk's tired and he recedes back into my subconscious as I fully revert back to myself. I fall forward and I feel someone catch me. As I look up with bleary eyes, I see that it's Tony. His suit is banged up and I'm sure that he's bruised on the inside too.

"I'm sorry."

"Theres nothing to be sorry for. It was Loki."

As the world around me comes back into focus, I look around and spot Loki. He's standing dumbfounded in the middle of the clearing knowing that he's clearly outmatched and outnumbered.

As I watched, Thor flew up to Loki and struck him down with Lightning. Just to be careful, the Half Bloods surround him so that he can't escape. Steve throws his shield, Natasha shoots her gun and Clint notches an exploding arrow into his bow and lets it fly.

When the dust finally clears, I saw Loki lying on the ground, clearly in pain after being hit so many times.

I grinned. It was finally over.

Tony and I walked over to Loki along with everyone else and we form a circle around him. Thor steps forward.

"Well, brother? Kill me. You will finally be rid of me." Loki attempted to stifle a groan but it didn't work.

"No, there must be another way!" Thor said with a pained look on his face.

"There isn't any other way, point break." Tony said solemnly. "If we don't kill him, we'll never have a chance of getting out of here alive."

"No, wait."

We all turned in unison at Steve who had spoken.

"There is another way. Thor, do you know a little about magic?"

Thor nods slowly.

"Okay, well do you know enough to take Loki's powers away from him?"

Thor's eyes widen and he stands up a little taller. "Yes, I think I can do that…"

He walks over to Loki and picks up his staff. I don't know what exactly he does, but I see him close his eyes and mumble something while placing the point of the spear directly on to Loki's chest.

Loki flinched but didn't have the power to do anything more.

The rest of us don't know what's happening but I could clearly tell that Loki's in more pain than anything. He face is frozen in a grimace and it's about all he can do from not screaming out loud.

About a couple of minutes later, Thor lowers the sceptre and says, "it's done."

"Wait, that's it?" Tony barks out.

Thor nods.

"No more powers?"

"No more powers."

For a second, everyone is still. It's silent and I can hear the smallest cricket chirp. Thor is still but a second later, he raises the sceptre once more and waves it over Loki with fierce anger. I stepped back as he caught me by surprise.

I see a wave ripple through the air and Loki's eyes widen and for a second, I see a glimmer of hurt, defeat and betrayal.

"I was never enough for you brother. I will always hate you."

That's the last thing that Loki managed to mutter before his eyes close and it looks like he almost stops breathing, but I could barely see the rise and fall of his chest.

"Thor…what did you do?" Natasha asks slowly.

"T'was the only thing I could think to do. I have put Loki in a very deep sleep. So deep that he is close to death."

"Yeah," jumped in Nico. "I can feel it. It's almost like his life force is ebbing away but then again…it's not. It's…weird."

There is a deep silence once again and I can almost feel the tension in the air. I can see Thor's sadness through his body language and I knew it must've been hard to make that decision.

As the silence thickens, I shift my feet in discomfort. "So now what?" I finally question.

Just as I said that, I heard the sound of a huge jet engine in the sky. I looked up to find that a big black aircraft was descending towards us. A ladder fell down and I saw a person wearing all black get lowered slowly to where we all stood.

He and two other people wearing the same type of clothing took Loki and lifted him on to a stretcher that was attached to the ladder that was hanging from the jet.

As they take Loki with impossible speed and finesse, Thor cries, "Un hand my brother!"

He's about to reach for the ladder, but Steve tackles him to the ground at the last moment and Loki is taken away with ease.

The aircraft rises up into the clouds once again and we all stood together and watched as Loki is taken up into the sky.

So there is another chapter. Hope it was good enough for you guys!
