Hello, my fellow readerpersons! I'm SOOO sorry for taking so long with this! T-T My school was overworking me and I had absolutely no time! I'm now in a new school and have much more time. I'm going to be finishing this story and maybe starting another. My Perfect Girl Evolution/Ouran High School Host Club crossover is permanently abandoned. I have absolutely no idea where to go with it. If anyone wants to adopt it, message me!
WARNING: I've given up fighting my inner fangirl. This will be Kevedd. It will be faint, but it will be there. This story will be more focused on Al, but I might write a Kevedd-based story later. Anyways, enjoy! =D
Disclaimer: *snort*
It had been a week since Al moved in. She had settled in well and was currently residing in Edd's parents' old room. Where we come in, Al is currently drawing something on her and Edd's front porch while the rest of the Cul-De-Sac kids were doing their own things. Peach Creek was calm. At least, it was until three cruel girls decided to visit their 'boyfriends'. The second Lee, May, and Marie Kanker stepped into the small housing area, everything went silent. The laughing and sound of playing ceased, as if everyone could sense the oncoming danger. Al glanced up from her sketchbook just in time to see the Eds running as fast as they could towards Eddy's house with three girls right on their heels. With a cocked eyebrow, she stood up, setting down her book and pencil before walking towards the girls now ravenously clawing at Eddy's front door.
"Can I help you three," she asked, trying, and succeeding, to keep the anger out of her voice. Someone was terrifying her cousin, after all. "Yeah," the red-head said, "You can FUCK OFF and leave us alone with our boyfriends!" A faint disgusted gag could be heard from behind the wooden door. Al then cocked her eyebrow once again, her anger starting to show. "Boyfriends? *snort* Even a dieing dog would run from you three bitches." Her face turned to one of furious disgust as she looked the three up and down. The blue haired one stepped forward, cracking her knuckles menacingly as she said, "Who do you think you are?! I'm gonna kick your ass!" "You get her Marie," the blonde yelled. "I will, May, but it'll be more fun if we outnumber her. Lee, would you please," Marie said. May and Lee stepped forwards, getting in a fighting stance.
Throughout this, the raven-ette stood there, her arms crossed and her eyebrow raised. With a small laugh, she said, "I really don't think you want to fight me." The three younger girls growled, about to attack. Al faintly noticed the stares directed at her, all of the concerned and scared. She adjusted the black beanie on her head and waited. The Kankers launched at once. Al easily dodged and dug her knee into May's stomach, causing the girl to be flung back, smashing into the brick wall next to the porch. The small crowd of Cul-De-Sac kids gasped and the other two Kankers glanced at each other before charging Al again. Marie swung at the older girl, who easily caught her fist and flipped the blue-ette over her head, twisting around to smash the girl into the ground that was previously behind her.
Lee backed up slightly, nervousness getting to her. Anger flared through her as May and Marie groaned and whined in pain. "WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU ARE," she screamed while launching herself at Al once again. The beanie-clad girl caught the red-head by her throat and held her off of the ground easily with one hand. "Who am I," she echoed, a cruel smirk forming on her perfect lips, "Why, I'm your worst nightmare. You were hurting someone I love, and I will kill to protect someone I love. I've done it before, after all." She then twisted herself around and flung Lee across the Cul-De-Sac, quite similar to how one would throw a baseball. With a loud thud, Lee smashed into a tree and immediately passed out from the impact. Marie and May finally managed to drag themselves up and limped over to their sister. A few minutes later, the blonde and blue-ette had dragged themselves and the unconscious redhead out of sight.
The Cul-De-Sac kids just stared, mouths agape. Kevin was the only one who had seen her strength, but even he was surprised. The Eds had left the house about halfway through the fight. Eddy had the same look as the rest of the kids, Ed looked like he was about to piss himself out of excitement while whispering, "She's an alien warrior," over and over again, and Edd was just standing there, his annoyed expression covered by his hand while he pinched the bridge of his nose. After a few minutes of silence Edd asked, "Did you really have to beat them up that badly?" A familiar goofy grim broke across Al's face as she walked behind Edd and wrapped her arms around his shoulders and rested her chin on his head while saying, "Yup!" Edd sighed again before a small chuckle escaped him. Al cocked her head in confusion, which her cousin felt and pointed to everyone else.
Al chuckled as well, saying, "I think I'm going to finish working on my design, if you all don't mind." They all just dumbly shook their heads. Al smiled again, gave Edd a small squeeze, and started walking back towards her and her cousin's house. After walking a few feet, the girl stopped and turned around when her name was called. "What did you mean," Nazz asked, still in slight shock over the fight, "That 'you'd kill to protect some you love' and 'that you've done it before'?" A grim look crossed Al's face as she shook her head and said, "I just wanted to scare that girl –Lee, was it?- into leaving Edd and his friends alone." A small sigh of relief escaped the crowd and Jimmy said, "So, you never really killed anyone…" "I never said that," Al responded, a flash of pain crossing her face before she quickly composed herself, showing a crooked, dazzling smile. "Don't fret over it. Nothing can change the past, but anything can change the future."
In a stunned silence, the kids watched the girl walk back to her house, pick up her sketchbook and pencil, and walk inside. After another few moments, everyone turned to look at Edd, whose face showed worry and sadness while he gazed at the door his cousin just went into. "Hey," Nazz said gently, tugging on Edd's sleeve gaining his attention, "You alright, dude?" "Y-Yeah…yeah, I'm fine," the boy responded, sighing before continuing, "I just didn't expect her to bring that up, is all. She discusses it so rarely…" "Did she really kill someone," Kevin asked, glancing at Edd and Al's front door before looking at the dork. Edd sighed again, the look he gave Kevin answering the boy. Silence reigned. After a few minutes, the small crowd dispersed, going back to their own devices. Edd was the last to leave, after being tugged away by Ed, who was concerned for his friend.
After a slow walk back to Ed's house; where they were before the Kanker attack; Eddy decided that he had to cheer up the sockhead. "Hey boys," he said, gaining the attention of his friends, "I think I know how to cheer us up….a scam." A grin spread on his face as his friends perked up, grateful for the distraction. The three leaned in towards each other as Eddy told the plan, causing Ed to laugh for no reason and Edd to nod. Even though the kids had gone back to doing their own thing, two questions lingered on all; excluding Edd and Al; of their minds: Who did Al kill? Should we trust her? The answer would come in a way that none of them ever expected, but the horrible event won't be happening for a while now.
This ended up being much shorter than I wanted it to be, but the next event will be worthy of its own chapter. Rate and review, if you don't mind! They make me feel nice. :3
