Chapter 12

They stepped in the great hall and they were horrified at the scene before them. There was a lot of battling was going on. They all looked at Sasha for reassurance and she nodded back, sorrow in her eyes. The look said 'good luck.' The girl hoped she'd see them all again. Together they managed to get rid of most death eaters but lost heroic soldiers in the process. Sasha looked around whilst catching her breath, specifically searching for her friends, she saw Hermione first. The brunette witch was writhing on the ground screaming. Sasha's heart stopped and she froze at her best friend. She looked up to see Bellatrix smirking down casting a cruciatus curse on her. Sasha was about to run to kill the bitch but Tonks got in the was and began duelling her. The atmosphere was so tense and the magic was so thick that everyone had incredulously stopped to watch the magnificent duel, wanting Tonks to rid of the maniac. Suddenly the impossible happened. Sasha saw it all happen in slow motion as the death eaters pale looking lips smirked and spoke the dreaded curse.

"Avada Kedavra!" She laughed and watched as her own niece crumbled to the floor.

"YOU FUCKING BITCH!" Sasha screamed. She ran up to the women screaming fiercely like a warrior and jumped at her clawing at her face, pulling her hair. The girls were screaming and everyone who was watching stared in utter shock and horror. They had never seen anyone act so violent and use non magical means in a war. In fact if there wasn't a war going on, some people may have found it amusing.

Sasha grabbed her hair and slammed the woman's head hard against the concrete floor. She let out a shriek. "YOU!" slam. "TRIED!" slam. "TO!" slam. "KILL." slam. "SIRIUS!" slam. Bellatrix collapsed into unconsciousness. Sasha continued beat at the bruised body slapping, punching and stomping. Everyone was still silent staring at Sasha as if she was the most strangest thing ever. Suddenly there was the sound of someone clapping. Sasha looked up to see Voldemort walking up to her evilly. "You are a crazy fucked up bastard you know!" she spat. Trying to stop the tears that were falling from her eyes.

"Sasha!" Draco called trying to get through the crowds to the girl.

"No. Stay out of this Draco! This is between me and him!" she growled. Draco backed down looking horrified.

"Sasha it isn't your job to do anything..." Ron spoke a little shaken. Sasha gave her friend an apologetic gaze.

"Well well well... A girl like you trying to stand up to me..."

"Did I not show you what I could do last time Tom?" Voldemort's face contorted with rage.

"DON'T call me that filthy name!" he growled, however his face calmed into a smirk. "And I was about to offer you a place on my side..."

"Like I would ever join a bastard like you. You fucking messed up my life." she spat but then smirked. "You asked me how I could stand up to you but do you know how? I've come to the recent knowledge that I'm master of the Esmeralda Almas... I'm sure you've heard of that?" Voldemort's eyes flared with so much anger that Sasha could feel the burn from them. There were gasps from the surrounding.

"Protego." she said and cast a shield charm over the audience so no one could get hurt.

"Sasha..." Hermione whispered sadly. "please don't!" she cried. Sasha ignored it, she may have ended up listening to Hermione after all. She was maybe a little terrified.

"And is that supposed to bother me... I'm immortal... The only person who could kill me was Harry Potter but in case you haven't noticed... He's dead!" Voldemort laughed.

"Hmm, he is, is he?" she smirked in questioning. Voldemort's smile fell and he frowned. Sasha was getting excited even in the given circumstances she couldn't wait to reveal her secret.

"Yes... I would expect a warrior like you to know. I killed him!"

"Did you? I don't actually think you did." she said casually playing with her wand.

"Sasha! What are you saying?" Hermione said there were tears in her eyes. She looked at Ron who was looking at her in anger.

"Yes what are you saying?" Voldemort chortled.

"Harry Potter is with us now. He has always been with us!" Voldemort let out a cruel laugh.

"Harry Potter's soul or whatever you claim, isn't going to help you, foolish child."

"He's not the one who is going to help. He is the one who is going to kill you..."

"Stop speaking riddles child! Let's just duel!" he hissed.

"Here goes... Finite incantatum..." Sasha felt the glamours fall and she closed her eyes for a brief second. The were screams and shouts from the audience some claiming 'Sasha' was disrespecting Harry Potter, some saying it was a good plan to look like Harry to scare Voldemort and some were screaming for Sasha. Voldemort gave an ugly furious glare. "Hello again Tom. You failed to kill me last summer. You see, my animagus form is a Phoenix and when you tried to kill me, I changed. I hadn't actually properly adjusted to my form before then, so it took me awhile to change back to human... When I did, i was apparently dead. Can you imagine my shock? Everyone thought I had died! I couldn't go claim I was Harry Potter... That wouldn't have ended well. So that's where it began, I formed the perfect plan. I met with Karkaroff, he gave me a new identity. I didn't want to be a girl but I had no other choice, so I attended Hogwarts, I was sorted into Slytherin and so I've been living here for the past few months. Let's end this now Tom." Harry avoided to look at anyone but Voldemort who was shocked beyond belief. Harry threw the first curse. It was all non verbal and if the duel wasn't so serious and dangerous, someone could have described it as beautiful and thrilling. The multi coloured flashes if light and the enthralling wand gestures had everyone half mesmerised and half terrified.

"AVADA..." Harry threw Voldemort's curse aside non magically even before it was spoken.

"AVADA KEDAVRA!" he yelled and sighed in relief as the dark lords body crumpled to the ground. Dark smoke rose and everyone breathed a sigh of relief although they were still confused. Hermione got up and backed Harry against the wall.

"WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU!?" she demanded looking furious. She had a wand pointed to his throat.

"Mione! I'm really sorry. I just couldn't tell you. It's me Harry!"

"I said who the fuck are you?" she seethed eyes watering.

"I'm that boy you became friends with in first year because of a troll. You had not attended the great feast because you were upset with something Ron had said. Ron and me came to find you and after that, we became best friends." Hermione loosened her grip. Harry looked at Ron who was still glaring. "In second year we brewed polyjuice potion to find out if Draco..." Harry did not want to look at Draco's face anytime soon. "Malfoy was the heir of Slytherin. The year after that, me and Hermione travelled back in time to save buckbeak and Sirius. And..." Hermione let out a loud sob.

"OKAY! Stop telling our secrets!" She cried. "Oh Harry what have you done? I hate you so much! I hate you so bloody much." she said wrapping her arms around him. She sobbed for what felt like hours. Harry held the girl close feeling a surge of happiness. He chuckled through his own tears. He was back. He was home, he was Harry again. He went around greeting everyone giving the Weasley's hugs and his friends however, Ron didn't say anything to Harry.

"Why couldn't you tell us?" he whispered his eyes shining with betrayal.

"Ron..."

"WHY COULDN'T YOU TELL US! You already told Zabini and Snape. Two Slytherins! And what have you been doing with Slytherins? With a Malfoy?" he spat.

"Ron I'm so sorry. The sorting hat put me in Slytherin because I told it to, I didn't want anyone suspecting who I was. I had to associate with Slytherins!" his eyes flickered to Draco who looked hurt. "I missed you. I missed you not knowing who I was, It's been horrible, I've been isolated from the world and everyone..." Ron looked at Harry tiredly.

"You're a dick." he said and pulled Harry into a fierce hug. Harry laughed and began crying. His first ever friend was back. "I missed you! You git!" he cried. As they pulled away, Harry realised it was the reporters turn to ask questions. He sighed but he saw three blonde heads leaving the room.

"Hang on!" he said to the reporters and ran after the one he loved. "Dra... Malfoy!" he called out. Draco turned and his face was blank.

"Potter." he nodded. "Good one." he said and turned away. Harry didn't know what Malfoy was referring to. Whatever the blond meant, it hurt Harry deeply. He let his feet take him to the his own common room. There he fell asleep.

"Potter!" said a blank voice. Harry groaned in his sleep.

"Go 'way!" he mumbled.

"Potter! Wake up." Harry moaned and opened his eyes glancing up, startled to see Draco stood there.

"Oh Draco..."

"It's Malfoy to you Potter." he hissed.

"Look Dra... Malfoy. I..."

"I don't want to hear it Potter! I woke you up because you are no longer in Slytherin. I think you should leave." Harry felt his heart break at the words.

"I'm sorry. For everything."

"I know you are. Now get. Out!" he seethed pointing to the door. Harry sighed and walked out, feeling the other boys gaze on his back all the way out. Then there was a huge bang behind him. Harry turned to see Draco had angrily slammed the door shut.

"I still love you Draco." he whispered sadly. He began his walk for the Gryffindor dormitories, however every step he was bombarded with people congratulating him and asking for a autograph. 'a bloody autograph' he thought stupidly. Half way there he met Hermione and Ron.

"Harry!" they called. Harry grinned. Oh how he loved to hear that name.

"Mione! Ron!" he called out and giving them a warm hug each other.

"Where have you been?"

"I fell asleep in my Slytherin dorm but got kicked out..." he said neutrally.

"By who?" said Ron with a frown on his face.

"Draco." he said sadly. When they reached the portrait they went to sit in a secluded corner.

"Harry, About him... Why erm - Were you so close to him?" Hermione asked.

"Because he was the Slytherin that I had to share a common room with. So we became friends... Good friends."

"Too good friends..." muttered Ron. Harry looked at him questingly. "You two bloody kissed and god knows how many times..."

"I was a girl! I had female hormones! I couldn't help it... He isn't ugly now is he?" he said incredulously. He couldn't tell his friends that he loved the other boy. Ron raised an eyebrow.

"So he kicked you out. I'm not surprised why! He must have fallen hard for Sasha and then he found out that Sasha was a boy and Harry Potter." suddenly Harry realised the wrong and groaned.

"Oh no..."

"What?"

"He told me he had lost someone he loved a few months ago... And that's why he was so hurt. I distracted him from it but it still hurt him. Now Sasha is gone..." he couldn't finish the sentence off. "He hates me!"

"Harry why do you care so much..." Harry couldn't take it.

"Because I bloody love him!" he cried out. Hermione looked startled and Ron began smacking his head on the table. "No it's not because of my female hormones. I was gay before. I'm sorry I didn't tell you but I couldn't find the time... And then there was Draco and he's so perfect... Beautiful, funny, sweet..."

"Are talking about the same 'Draco' here? Urghh that name sounds so wrong from my mouth." Ron face palmed.

"Harry go tell him that then..." Hermione suggested smoothly.

"But Draco Malfoy isn't gay! He fell in love with a girl before me and he even loved her more than me!" there was a bell chime that echoed throughout the castle.

"We'll have to discuss this later... There's a big assembly in the great hall now. Come on." she smiled and everyone headed for the hall. Suddenly Harry was bombarded with a bundle of red. Ginny Weasley had literally jumped on him.

"Gin!"

"Oh Harry! I didn't get to say hi to you properly in earlier!" she cried. "I can't believe you didn't tell any of us! You git. I hate you. Do to know what you put all of us through!" she cried.

"Ginny... I know and I'm sorry! I missed you too!" she chucked through her tears. They pulled apart from each other and then he felt a pat on the back. He turned to see Neville, Dean and Seamus.

"It's good to have you back Harry!" they grinned each giving Harry a manly hug. Ginny clung onto Harry's arm all the way down. Harry was happy but he felt a bit awkward. He had a feeling Ginny liked him a bit more than friends. Before they stepped into the great hall, Ginny took his hand into her own. Harry smiled weakly at her. They entered to see lots of people sat down. Harry scanned the Slytherin table and found the blond hair he was looking for. On instinct, the blond looked up at Harry, his gaze travelled to his joined hands with Ginny but his face remained blank. He turned his head to the front quickly. Harry sighed and took a seat next to Fred and George who were there to support the order. Dumbledore stood and cleared his throat.

"Good evening everyone. Today has been a day of grief and joy. I am extremely pleased to say thank you to our very much alive Mr. Harry Potter for vanquishing the evil and bringing us joy. However, the battle was fought by many. Some were not so fortunate as others. Many were injured and there were sixteen deaths. I think they fought valiantly and they deserve all our praises. So remember these students who met their ends fighting evil, Lisa Turpin, Lavander Brown, Joanne Lowe, Christopher Sonn, Jamie Anderson, Dennis Creevey, Michael Corner, Parvati Patil and Ernie Macmillan. All of these students were loved sincerely. They fought for us. They died for us and they have every one of our respects. There have been special adults who have been vital in this war. Damian Brown was killed as was Mungdungus Fletcher and Alistor Moody. Amelia Bones, Brian Chang, Harriet Bulstrode and Bradley Walter. They will all be burried in Hogwarts memorial garden. And also their name will also be engraved at the ministry as those who died fighting. Let us all be silent for one minute to pay our respect to these brave people." nobody spoke and a minute later, Dumbledore spoke again.

"On to a lighter note, there hasn't been any lasting damage in the castle but the wards need repairing as does this room and various points in the castle... You are given a week off to spend time with your families and enjoy a Voldemort free life. During that time we can sort the castle out. Thank you all and a good night." he smiled and everyone clapped. They all left the great hall Ginny still holding Harry's hand. Hermione and Ron looked hesitantly at Harry and he shrugged.

"Ginny can we talk in private?" Harry asked when they reached the common room.

"Yes of course Harry! I've been wanting to talk to you too!" she said blushing a little. They sat in the secluded part of the common room and put privacy charms up.

"I just..."

"Harry, can I please go first?"

"Ginny I think it's important if i do..."

"Please?" she begged. "I want to get it over and done with..." Harry sighed and nodded.

"Well... Harry I really missed you and I thought it would be a good idea to get together? Like as a couple." Harry blanched.

"But I thought you liked Blaise!" he said incredulously.

"I can get over him! We are made for each other!" she smiled.

"Ginny no." her face fell.

"Harry..."

"I'm the one you have looked up to for years, This is not love. You only like me because of me being a hero... Oh wait that came out wrong. When you were a kid you loved me... I was your hero and now your getting it all mixed up. And you can't just say 'I'll get over him, we are made for each other'. You can't push people about like that Gin! Blaise is a good guy and I know you both like each other a lot." Ginny sighed sadly and nodded.

"You're right Harry... I'm really sorry. I just wanted to try, I love you and I know mum and dad would accept you easily but I don't know about Blaise."

"It's okay, I can speak to your family, I was Blaise's best friend for a while wasn't I?" Ginny sighed and nodded. "Now let's go get packed shall we?" she nodded again and they left feeling like a weight had been lifted from their shoulders.

Harry was stood outside Grimmauled place smiling to himself. He heard a gasp and turned around to see Hermione frowning.

"That's how Sasha could see the place!" Harry just chuckled.

"Come on love..." he grinned putting his arms around her waist and pulling her into the house. They all walked in and into the living room.

"I'm only letting you do that because I know you're a bender..." Ron commented. Harry chuckled and tightened his hold on Hermione winking at her. Hermione rolled her eyes at Harry but frowned at Ron.

"Ron don't be so insensitive... That is really offensive!" she berated. Harry blushed a little and Ron looked a bit ashamed.

"Oh mate I'm..."

"Nah Ron it's fine... You're a friend and I know you've accepted me so it's not offensive when you say it." Ron grinned and punched Harry on the arm. Hermione huffed.

"Boys." she murmured rolling her eyes.

"Harry dear, do come stay at the Burrow with us!" Mrs. Weasley said interrupting the trio.

"No thank you Mrs Weasley. I am going to transform Grimmauled Place... I think being a girl has put some creativity in my mind... You don't mind Sirius?" he asked.

"Be my guest. I can't stand this place any longer."

"Okay but fetch me a quill and parchment... Idea's are already forming..." Ron smirked.

"Pouf." he muttered under his breath Harry rolled his eyes and punched him lightly in the shoulder.

"Ok Harry but if you need anything, don't hesitate to ask! And if you want to come over just tell me before hand so I can cook something for you." Mrs. Weasley said going red in the face.

"That's really ok Mrs. Weasley thanks!" he said and hugged her. Everyone apart from Hermione, Ron, Sirius and Lupin left.

"Harry we really need to catch up, I just cannot believe you're alive!" Hermione gushed her eyes brimming with tears.

"One moment you can't believe I'm dead and the next to can't believe I'm alive..." he chuckled.

"Seriously mate we really have so many questions... And you went to bloody Malfoy manor to save Malfoy!" Harry chuckled as they got comfortable and began the three hour long conversations with his long term friends.

Ahahaha there you go... Ya'know it has been so long since I've wrote this story that I forgot Sasha's name... Awks. Anyway love it? Hate it? Improvements? Review! Oh I've been told by so many of my friends that I overuse explanation marks, so if you have noticed that, I'm going to cut down. Oh and if there are grammatical or spelling errors, let me know so I can change it because I kept this on my phone so I didn't have word to proofread it for me!

Btw this story has not finished... Kind of a bit more to go! ;) no spoilers though!
