Author's notes : Okay so I'm sooooooooo sorry! I know I'm the worst person on here. It makes like months that I haven't posted anything. I lack from time and inspiration. I shouldn't have never started to write anything on here. But it's fun to know that some people are reading what I write. It still doesn't excuse me for not uploading this in months! soo so soo sorry everyone. I hope you haven't given up on me. I didn't had time to read the chapter again and to correct myself :/ so if you find any BIG mistakes, please send me a message.
I really hope you will enjoy (or hate) this chapter. It has been hard to write at the end because sometimes I don't know where I'm going :$
Disclaimer : I do not own PLL or any of it's caracters
Chapter 5
Her vision became blured when she heard the door unlock. She let out a breath she didn't know she was holding since she arrived. His world had just turned around. He didn't feel treatened anymore. He knew she was there for him.
She opened the door to discover a bruised man. He had a black eye, fresh blood dripping from his mouth, bruised everywhere... Barely the man she remembered, but it was him. Her heart ached at the view but she felt her knees weak as she collapsed againts his hard torso. His arms immediatly wrapped around her waist, holding her closer to him. So close and so hard thatshe was wondering if he would ever let go of her. But she didn't want him to let go. Never again.
Tears were now streaming down both their faces. They tried to be strong for each other for way too long. Breaking down in each others arms. Just so happy to finally feel each other.
Caleb's hold released just enough for Hanna to look at him in the eyes. "Hanna..." His voice was so soft and so weak she almost didn't recognize the one happy and strong he was only a month ago. She saw a little boy who feared the storm. A side she had only seen a few times before. Like when his father and mother got back into his life. Hanna couldn't stand anything more. "Shh.. it's alright." She responded.
Only a small "I love you..." came out of his mouth before he crashed his lips on hers. She could taste the blood from his previous attack, but she couldn't care less. To have him there with his lips againts hers, nothing could describe how relieved she felt.
One of his hands slipped from her back to cop her cheek, deepening the kiss.
When they heard people talking at the top of the stairs that they have seperated.
A look of fear appeared on Hanna's face once she heard one of the guy talk about a hot chick in the bathroom. Caleb's protective side then took over and he only wanted to go upstairs and beat the crap out of them.
He would of done if it wasn't for the footsteps going down to where they were standing.
Caleb quickly looked over the cave and found an unlocked door right beside his. As quietly as possible, he opened it and put Hanna in security inside.
Only did he have enough time to go back to his previous position in the door frame when Jake finally reached the last step. Surprise dres upon his face when he saw Caleb's sillouhette standing in front of an open door.
"Tell me... How did you escape?" Jake had already guessed it wouldn't take so long for Caleb to find a way out. He knew he was smart, that's why he took him and that's why he had left. But now, he wouldn't go anywhere.
"...Do you really want to know how to unlock a door without a key?" Caleb affirmed. He couldn't tell about Hanna. He wouldn't let anything bad happen to Hanna. He would prefer to die instead. Anything would be better than talking about her helping him.
"So you're still being sarcastic with me aren't you?" He got closer to Caleb. "But one way or another you'll find out the right way to treat me." And that was the moment he gave a kick in Caleb's stomach. The pain got Caleb to fall to his knees. He groaned at the feeling.
Meanwhile, Hanna couldn't just stay hidden without knowing what was going on. She opened the door so slightly that they wouldn't even see her in that dark room. She hadn't been able to stop a tiny high pitched scream to escape from her mouth at the sight of Caleb being hit. She put her hands on her lips, covering it, but it was too late. They had heard her.
A sick feeling was growing in her stomach as she heard footsteps coming closer and closer to her door. She looked around her. It was too dark to see anything but shadows. She definitly was in a furniture room. Only boxes filled the little space.
Before she could know it, the door opened and someone took a hold of her arm. "This isn't the bathroom beauty. Told you it was upstairs darling." He laughed at her.
A pitty and painful little whimper came from the floor. "Let her go." Caleb got up from the floor slowly and in pain. His whole body trembling but a fierce look upon his face.
Hanna didn't want to be held hostage by this man which hold the love of her life hostage. She tried to get out of his grip but he wouldn't let her go like that. "So now you've got barbie dolls to your rescue?" A devil smirk appeared on Jake's face. "I told you, let. her. go." this time, it was fiercer from the frustration filling his whole body.
"What are you gonna do if I don't?" He said, now take a tiny little knife from his jacket to press it againts her neck. "You do anything and she's gone."
