Revan stepped out of the temple, and sat down on a bench, feeling rage flow through her like a rushing river.

"What is wrong, Revan?" Kreia asked.

"I'm just irritated with the Council." she replied.

"What happened?"

"They called me in to speak with them. I thought they just wanted a progress report. I was dead wrong."

"What did they say?"

"Well..." Revan said.

-=0=-

I stepped into the Council Chambers, not expecting anything too serious. Until I saw Master Vorthan. I asked, "Did I do something wrong?"

"No, Revan." he replied, looking at the Council.

Master Oraka said, "We simply want to speak with you to see how you have progressed."

"My training under Master Vandar has led to my skill and strength in the Force greatly increasing, And Master Vrook says that I have surpassed him."

"I see." Vorthan said, "Then I am afraid, Revan, that you are removed from the mission to Cathar."

"What!"

"You are removed from the mission to Cathar."

"You're joking, right?" I replied.

"No. If you truly believe that you have surpassed Vrook, then madness has taken you, and you require therapy before you can be sent on such a sensitive operation."

"Are you fucking kidding me! I've never done anything in my entire career to give you reason to say that I've lost my mind. What is your glitch, Vorthan? Do you have something against me, or do you always penalize Knights for being talented?"

"Revan," Nomi said, "remember- emotion, yet peace."

"You expect me to be okay with this, Grand Master?"

"I know that this is not what you want, but there must be a thorough investigation into your mental health. To ensure that the Mandalorian War has not worn it away."

"What if I refuse to undergo the evaluation?"

"You will not be permitted to go on any missions for the Jedi Order until you undergo it." Vorthan said.

"No. I'm not going to have you probing around in my head." I growled, slightly nervous.

"What is it you are trying to hide, Knight?"

"Maybe I just don't want Exar Kun's right hand man in my head." I replied.

Vorthan stepped back, and shouted, "I turned my back on Exar Kun long ago! It was I who gave him up to the Jedi Order!"

"Oh, so are you doing this to me because you feel like you have to overcompensate for your dark past by trying to snuff out anything that could even potentially lead to something that could lead to darkness?"

He said, "Yes."

"Well, guess what, Vorthan, I am perfectly sane. I also happen to be very busy. So, if you do not mind, I will make my leave." I said, turning to walk away.

"You may not leave this room until I say you can!" he shouted, the door locking.

I turned and asked, "Are you Venerus?"

"Who?" he asked.

"Venerus."

"Who is this Venerus?" Master Oraka asked.

"On Dantooine I encountered a man dressed in robes of darkness that said his name was Venerus. He said that he was the Dark Lord of the Sith, and he sought to convert me to his cause. I told him that I was not interested, and that he could fuck off. He did so, but he then came here to Coruscant, and attempted to abduct Meetra, but Master Kreia arrived in time to make him leave, peacefully. Now, I ask you again, Vorthan, are you Darth Venerus, Dark Lord of the Sith?"

"I abandoned that path long ago." He said, back ramrod straight. "But, I am curious why the Dark Lord of the Sith, were he real, would stay his hand when the mandalorians are attacking the Republic." he continued, stroking his long, white beard.

"Because, his numbers are thin. He lacks the forces to be of any real benefit to the mandalorian cause. He wishes to rebuild his numbers before attacking the Republic."

"This is madness." Vorthan said. "A mysterious Dark Lord managing to hide his darkness on Coruscant and Dantooine. The Council would have sensed him."

"I agree," Nomi said, "in all probability the stress of the mandalorian invasion has led you to begin to lose your grip on reality."

"If you think I'm crazy, fine. But, I can still get the job done. If you want this mission to be a certain success, you will let me go. I can guarantee that if I go, there will not be any Jedi casualties. Otherwise, there's a risk that there could be."

"Will you submit yourself to a thorough psych evaluation performed by Master Sunrider, if it would allow you to go on the mission?"

"No. My mind is my own. I don't need people messing around in it."

"Revan, please. We are doing this for your own good."

"I understand, Grand Master. But, I don't need people in my head."

"Very well. Until you submit yourself to the evaluation, you are not allowed to leave Coruscant. If you do, you will be considered a Dark Jedi by both the Order and the Republic. You are dismissed." Nomi said.

-=0=-

"Why did you not let them examine your mind, Revan?"

Revan looked around nervously, to make sure no one else was around, then asked, "Can you keep a secret?"

"Of course, Revan. What is it?"

"I don't know why, I don't know how, but somehow a bond formed between Bastila and I. I rejected their examination because I was worried they would find out about it, and do something that could cause severe neurological damage to both myself and Bastila to sever it."

Kreia said, "I see. You care about Bastila, and do not want harm to come to her. More than you fear for your own safety. Meetra's teasing was not as off point as you would have her believe."

"That's not it. She's a good kid, and I'd hate to think that I accidentally got her mind fucked."

Kreia chuckled, and said, "I understand. If the Council were to permit my performing the examination, and I agree to keep silent about the bond, would you submit yourself to it?"

"You'd do that?"

"Of course. Would you accept it."

"I trust you, so yeah. I'd accept it."

"I shall go see if they will permit it." Kreia said, walking away.

Revan just sat there on the bench for a while, until Bastila walked out of the temple. The Padawan said, "Hi."

"Hi." Revan replied, looking at the ground.

"What's wrong, Revan?"

"Nothing. Just the Council saying I can't leave Coruscant until I let them do a full psych eval."

"Why didn't you?"

"They could find out about the bond. Then, if that happened, they would severe it, even though there's a high risk of harming both who had the bond. I don't want that to happen."

"Oh. I didn't know. Maybe they suspect the bond, and it is why they were so insistent on the test."

"No. That can't be right." Revan said, looking at the speeders flying by. "Soon it'll be rush hour, then the traffic will completely stop."

"Why?"

"Too many people with speeders. Everyone trying to either join or exit the traffic in the permitted zones. The day before I left, there was a big traffic jam, and it made me late for my meditations for the night before I was risen to Knight."

"What did they have you do as penance?"

"Just had to stay up later doing meditations to make so that I did the average amount of it."

"That seems a bit more lax than the people around here are."

"I don't know why they're acting like this. Usually things are much more relaxed."

"Well, we're leaving tomorrow."

"You'll be leaving. I doubt that the Council will let Kreia do the psych eval so that I can get off this fucking rock."

"Revan..."

"Oh let it go already. This is the way I talk, and since you clearly don't like it, you can deal with it."

"Why are you so grouchy?"

"Oh, maybe because this fucking bond is making so that I might not be able to go and help handle the mandalorian situation."

"Like I said when it was first formed, I didn't want this bond either."

Revan sighed, and said, "Sorry. I'm just on edge ever since that meeting with the Council."

"Understandably, but do you always have to take out your irritation on me?"

"I suppose I could take it out on Meetra."

"That wasn't exactly what I meant. Though that woman needs to get her head out of the bloody gutter."

"If she did that everyone would assume she'd been abducted by something."

Bastila shook her head, and suddenly fell off the bench, as Meetra dove out of the temple and tackled her. Revan sighed, and once again pried Meetra off from on top of Bastila.

"Aw, you're no fun Rev." Meetra replied.

Revan shook her head, and asked, "What else is new? Any reports on the status of the target?"

"What target?" Bastila asked.

"Can I tell her?" Meetra asked.

"She's been involved in the situation with these Dark Jedi, so yeah."

"Alright, we're investigating Master Varthan, as Revan suspects that he could be Darth Venerus." Meetra said.

"Is that safe?"

"No, but he has to be rooted out. If he isn't, then he could start assassinating Jedi without being traceable." Revan said.

"But, isn't there someone else who could do it? Maybe, you know, some Masters?"

"The Masters won't investigate. They prefer to just stick their heads as far up their asses as they'll go." Revan said.

"Alright." Bastila said, "How can I help?"

Revan said, "I'm not sure you should get any more involved in this than you already are. I only told you because you need to be on your guard."

"Oh come on, Rev, quit coddling her. She can handle herself."

"It's not a question of if she can handle herself. It's a question if any of us are able to handle this. If we aren't, then I want to keep the numbers involved to a minimum."

"Oh right. You just don't want your..." Meetra started, but was interrupted by Bastila punching her in the face. She stumbled backwards, and said, "Nice punch."

Revan shook her head, and said, "This is really starting to get irritating."

"Oh relax, Rev." Meetra said.

"Why would I need to be on my guard?" Bastila asked.

"Because, Venerus has the same dumbass ideas that Meetra does."

Bastila's jaw dropped, and asked, "Are you serious?"

"Yes." Revan growled.

Meanwhile, Meetra fell over she was laughing so hard.

-=0=-

Later, Kreia walked into the room where Revan was staying, and said, "Follow me. The Council has agreed to my performing the test."

"Alright." Revan said, following her.

-=0=-

Bastila walked out of her temporary room, and ran right into Master Sunrider. She squeaked, "I'm sorry, Grand Master."

"It is not a problem, Padawan Bastila." she replied, "I came her to speak with you."

"About what?"

"Not here." she said, "Follow me."

Bastila silently obeyed, while thinking, 'Did they find out about it? Does it have something to do with the Dark Jedi situation? Did I do something that's going to get me in trouble?'

"This is far enough." Nomi said, before turning to Bastila and saying, "Do you know why I wish to speak to you?"

"No, Master." Bastila replied.

"It is on the matter of Master Quatra, your teacher."

"What about her?"

"She was brought here in chains, her connection to the Force blocked. Due to accusations of her having fallen to the dark side. I would like to hear about her from someone she trained. And, you are the only one present."

"Master Quatra was always, demanding. She did not accept any mistakes, and had me constantly working on learning the newest skill. She was particularly harsh on my lightsabre skills. She always said that I would be slain the moment I entered a real battle with my skills."

"I see." Nomi said, "Continue."

"She always told me that my failures were my fault. That they were because I was not good enough. She constantly seemed to try to push me down. To make me feel like I would never be good enough. Once, she told me that I was sent to the Order because my mother didn't want to have a total failure in my family."

Nomi shook her head, and said, "This is strong evidence of Revan's accusations. Is there anything else?"

"No, Grand Master."

"Very well. And, I suppose that what she said about Revan trying to seduce you was just her misquoting Meetra's teasing Revan."

"Uhm, yes." Bastila said, looking uncomfortable.

"Do not be disconcerted by it. Everyone here knows that it is what Meetra does. If she were not so skilled, she would have long ago been exiled from the Order for behavior not befitting a Jedi."

"Can't something be done to make her behave properly?"

"We tried putting her through therapy. It didn't work."

"Why?"

"The therapist ended up needing therapy himself."

"She literally drove someone crazy?"

"It was a tragic accident." Nomi said, "He never recovered."

Bastila stood there, eyes wide, and jaw hanging open. Then Nomi burst out laughing, and said, "I'm joking, Padawan."

Bastila blushed, and said, "I must have looked like a fool."

"What is wrong with looking like a fool occasionally, if you are not one?" Nomi asked.

"It does not project the proper image to the rest of the galaxy."

"Occasionally meant around only other Jedi." Nomi said. "Anyways, you may return to what you were doing." Walking away.

"Grand Master, before you go, may I ask you a question?"

"Yes, but depending on the question, I may not answer."

"Is Revan going to be allowed to go on the mission?"

"Yes. Master Kreia found her to be mentally sound. Why are you concerned?"

"She's a good friend."

Nomi laughed, and said, "I see why Meetra was teasing Revan. She didn't use to make friends very quickly. She truly has changed much since that day when she first arrived. Always had her back to the wall, used anything chest-high as cover, and generally took paranoia to a new level. I don't even know where she got the plastic explosives she used to detonate the footlockers on floor B14."

"You're joking again, right?"

"No."

"I take it she got in a trouble a lot."

"We had to be patient. To show her that it was safe here."

"Alright. Why'd she blow up the footlockers?"

"She noticed that something was off with hers, and thought that there was a mine in it that would detonate when it was opened. So, she put some plastic explosives on it, and detonated it. From a safe distance and behind a blast-resistant shield."

"It sounds like those were some interesting times. What was actually in the footlocker?"

"It was just a datapad that Master Kreia had put in that had a list of tasks Revan was to complete that day, since she was busy that day."

"How old was Revan when this happened?"

"She was thirteen, and Meetra fifteen."

"Uh, I didn't ask about her."

"Yes, well it is also related to the story. You should ask Revan about it. I'm sure she'll tell you."

"Thank you for the information, Grand Master."

"You needn't be so formal. It's bad enough that the rest of the Council is hung up on formality." Nomi said.

"You're not what I expected the Grand Master of the Order to be."

Nomi laughed, and said, "It is because I came late to the Force. And, one other thing. As a mother myself, I can tell you that your mother did not send you here out of any hatred or dislike of you."

"What? You have a family?" Bastila squeaked, sounding shocked.

"Of course. Who do you think taught Revan the path of the Grey Jedi?"

"Uhm, Master Kreia."

"Master Kreia taught Revan that she must think for herself. I showed Revan the old texts that depicted following neither the Light nor the Dark exclusively."

"What do the Council think of the Grey Path?"

"You can ask Revan that. I have stayed too long already."

-=0=-

Revan walked out of the room where the examination had taken place, and sighed with relief. 'Guess I should go get ready. It's a long way to Cathar.'

Then, Meetra walked up to her, and asked, "Where you serious when you said Venerus teased you about Shan?"

"Yes. Can we drop the subject?"

"Alright. So, what do you think of the Council's new position?"

"It's an improvement, but won't be enough in the long run. So, have you found that guy you were making think you were into?"

"He's missing. I think someone may have gotten to him."

"Venerus?"

"Or mandalorians." Meetra said.

"I thought there was just that one who tried to blow you up."

"Didn't I tell you about the mandalorian Jedi Hunters I fought?"

"Those weren't mandalorians."

"What do you mean?" Meetra asked.

Revan was quiet, and said, "I sent them there."

"Why? You trying to kill me!"

"No. There was something I needed handled. They were some people I'd met in the Vet's Center."

"What did you need handled?"

"I needed them to find me something. Something very, very important."

"What?"

"It's an old relic. Two years ago, when I turned sixteen, I received a message my father had arranged to be sent to me. He said that on Dantooine and Coruscant he had left two things for me. That those two things would have information I would need."

"And, you sent them there to find it. Why'd they try to kill me?"

"The father was an ex-Republic Dark Jedi Hunter. He trained his kids so they also could do what he did."

"Great. You're pissed at me for killing them, aren't you."

"No, when I found out, I was pissed at them for trying to kill you. If I'd been around, and they couldn't be talked down, I would have killed them myself." Revan said, "I thought you knew that anyone who fucks with my friends has drastically shortened their lifespan. "

"Okay. So, what are you going to do now, Rev?"

"I've got to get packed for the trip. And knowing you, you also need to."

"Yeah. I figured I'd wait until the last minute."

"Really? I thought that after Master Lintas gave you a three month penance after the last time you didn't get ready in time and delayed the whole simulated mission."

"Hey, I don't like to pack."

"You should have your stuff so that you're ready to go at a moment's notice, now that there's a chance, however slim, that we're going to be sent into war at any moment."

"Alright, fine." Meetra said.

"Good. Afterwords we can play pazaak or do something else."

"Maybe Shan!"

"Meetra... I thought you'd agreed that you'd gone on with that for way too long."

"Hey, just because I've done it to death doesn't mean I'll stop doing it."

Revan shook her head, and said, "You'll never change."

"Before you left for Dantooine, people would have said the same about you." Meetra replied.

"Are we back to this? Alright, alright. I'll play along. If, maybe, potentially, in theory, I liked Bastila, do you really think I would ever act on it?"

"That has to be the most noncommittal statement I've ever heard."

"Meetra, stay on topic."

"Hey, who would have thought that you'd be the one changing the subject back to her this time!"

"What?" Bastila said.

"Nothing." Revan replied, ignoring the woman.

Meetra was quiet for a moment, then said, "Before you went to Dantooine I would have said hell no. Now, like you said, maybe, potentially, in theory."

"What?" Bastila said again.

"Rev just used the most noncommittal sentence in history to say she likes you."

Bastila shook her head, and said, "I seriously doubt that she does. Unlike you, her mind isn't stuck so deeply in the gutter that it has physically merged with it."

"If the mind is not a physical entity, how can it physically merge with something?" Meetra asked.

"It's just an expression!"

"From where? Backwater planet number three hundred seventy-two billion?"

Bastila said, "My homeworld is not a backwater planet! You arrogant, perverted, fool!"

"Those are fighting words. Bring it, kid." Meetra said.

"Enough! Both of you, calm down!" Revan shouted.

Meetra looked to Revan and asked, "Aw, you afraid I'm gonna beat her so badly she loses her innocence about the world, and becomes a serial killer?"

"No. I just don't want to have to scrape one of you off the walls because you were pancaked into it."

"This kid couldn't stand up to me." Meetra replied.

"You'd be surprised." Revan said, "But that isn't important. We're going to need to work together as a unit. Bad blood between you two will only cause trouble. I'm going to take a walk, and when I get back, I want this handled."

"Since when are you in charge, Rev?" Meetra growled.

"I understand you're angry, Meetra." Revan said, "You have every right to be. But, this will only cause trouble for the mission. If you won't do it because I would like it if you two aren't at each other's throats, at least do it so that we can help the people of Cathar."

Meetra took a deep breath and said, "Fine." while Revan left. "I guess I crossed the line, insulting your planet. I'm sure it's a nice enough place."

"Yes, and I guess I shouldn't have called you a fool. Though you do seem to be quite perverted."

"Ouch, an apology wrapped in an insult." Meetra said.

"Sorry." Bastila said.

"No problem, kid! Life's more fun perverted."

Bastila stood there, shocked, then said, "Are you serious?"

"Nah." Meetra said, "Take care of yourself, kid. And be sure to take extra good care of Rev."

"What?" Bastila said.

"Don't think I didn't notice you two's bond the moment you first landed!" Meetra said. "But seriously, Revan does care about you, a lot. And, if you break her heart, I will hunt you down, and I will kill you."

"You're joking." Bastila said.

"I'm not joking, Bastila. Revan may deny it, but she's got it bad for you. The way she always seems to be around you. The fact that she's always covering for your ass. Hell, she was willing to sacrifice going on a mission against mandalorians, the people who killed her parents and sold her as a slave, to protect you. That says something about how much you matter to her. Even if she hasn't accepted or realized it yet."

"If you're right, that would make things awkward."

"Hey, I was just letting you know. But, I can tell you, that Revan won't even try to make a move on you until you're an adult. So, if you find that it is just too awkward, you can always disappear before then. If you're willing to risk my hunting you down." Meetra said.

Bastila was silent, then said, "You'd kill someone over hurting her?"

"Of course. I am in love with her after all."

"But, I thought that if that were the case you two would be, you know, together."

"I love her, but she just sees me as a sister." Meetra said, bitterness clear in her voice.

"That must be hard. " Bastila said.

Meetra didn't answer, but said, "I've got some stuff I have to take care of." before walking away.

-=0=-

Revan stood in silence in her old room. She could sense that Bastila and Meetra had made amends, and were no longer angry with each other. Then, she heard someone knock on the door. She opened it, and saw Nicole. The woman asked, "Surprised to see me alive?"

"Of course. I saw you die, and buried your corpse."

"A dummy created at the last moment, Revan."

"What do you want, Nicole?"

"You know what I want, Revan. I want revenge, for your completely forgetting me. Forgetting everything about Deralia. About home."

"I didn't forget a thing. You damn well know that for the first four years after that all I could see when I closed my eyes was it burning. Why do you serve Venerus? Merely because he saved you? I thought that you hated the Sith."

"I did. Before they saved my life, while the Jedi hide away in their temples and enclaves. Why do you obey them, when they have you avoid actually fighting the enemy."

"Why would the mandalorians attack the Republic, while they are still weakened after the War with Exar Kun? Don't you think it's odd? The last time they fought, they had the backing of a Sith Lord."

"Are you honestly trying to say that Lord Venerus is working with them? You are a fool! Even now he is planning to destroy them!"

"Why would the Dark Lord of the Sith care about people? He only sees them as tools to get him what he wants! Like all the Sith do! Come on, Nicole, you know better than this!"

"You are the fool. He only seeks to destroy the Republic, because he sees it for what it is. An ancient bureaucracy that is rotting away. He seeks to destroy it, and build a pure government."

"You're a fool if you believe that." Revan growled. "Every time there have been Sith, they have sought only chaos and power for themselves!"

Nicole laughed, and ignited her blade. "I grow weary of talk, let us finish this, Revan Tremaine."

-=0=-

Bastila was walking down a corridor, just exploring, when she saw a door standing open. She looked inside, and saw Nicole and Revan standing there, weapons drawn. At the same time, Meetra walked out of her room next door, and also saw the two women standing there, glaring at each other.

"So," Meetra said, "I take it you're Nicole?"

Nicole turned around, and smiled. "Excellent. I was hoping you would be here, Shan. I do owe you for what you did on Dantooine. And as for you, Surik, I had hoped to be able to spare you. But, Lord Venerus's rules do demand no witnesses."

"You leave them out of this." Revan said, "This is between you and me, Nicole."

"Oh, no it isn't. It's between me, you, and everyone else here."

"You're going to leave them alone, if you want even the smallest chance of getting out of here alive." Revan said, starting to get pissed.

"Do you really think you can beat me, Rev? You only won because I let my guard down. Nicole said, holding up her prosthetic arm.

"If you think it was just luck, bring it on." Revan said, twirling her blades.

Nicole vanished, and reappeared behind Revan, but was instantly blocked. "Please. I figured out how to track you when you do that. A small, rapidly moving thread of Force energy. You'll have to learn how to actually fight, not just be a piece of shit like this." Revan said, striking at Nicole's leg. The Sith almost deflected it, but the blade moved at the last moment, and connected with her organic arm, severing it. Revan then kicked her in the chest, and as she stumbled backwards, impaled her through the heart. "Try to escape with a dummy now, Bitch." Revan growled, as she severed her head, and removed both her legs in one rapid motion.

"Damn, Rev. You took her out good." Meetra said, as she kicked the body.

"Yeah. Let's get rid of it properly this time." Revan said, grabbing the corpse, and throwing it out the window.

"There, if my math is correct, which it always is, she should connect with the surface in about two minutes."

"What if a speeder catches her corpse?" Bastila asked.

"No one will be able to pinpoint where it came from. If the physics hold up properly. Basically, I had it so that the high speed winds would blow her to and fro, making the pinpointing of a trajectory impossible."

"But, she was killed with a lightsaber." Meetra said.

"They won't find the body." Revan said. "And, just because she was cut up with a lightsaber, doesn't mean that the member of the Order who performed the termination would get in trouble. As, she was wearing pitch black robes, and carried a lightsaber herself. one could put two and two together to realize she was a Dark Jedi."

"Termination? Isn't that a bit cold?" Bastila asked.

"Like I said when it looked like you had killed her, she was already dead to me." Revan said, looking around. "Anyways, I'm going to need some rest. It's gotten pretty late."

Alek walked up, and asked, "What's going on up here? I just saw a cut up body falling past my window."

"Nothing. Just a Dark Jedi came to pick a fight with me, and payed the dire cost of failure."

"Wait, a Dark Jedi? Like the ones who went after you on Dantooine?"

"Yes, Baldy." Revan said.

"You really aren't that bright, are you, Baldy?" Meetra asked.

"I was just making sure, that's all." He said.

"Well, you find the guy?"

"Yeah. He was off screwing some hooker on the lower levels."

"How typically male." Meetra muttered.

"Hey!" Alek said, "We aren't all like that."

"Says the guy who was caught watching the girls shower five times."

He looked embarrassed, and said, "Hey, just because I like looking at girls doesn't mean I'm going to go hire some chick to have sex with me!"

Revan nodded, and said, "True. But, I think the Matale droid mentioned something about you and another Jedi in a private corner." with a smirk.

"It, it mentioned that?"

"Nope. Just a 'lucky' guess." Revan said, smirking, as Meetra and Bastila were trying to hide their laughter at the uncomfortable look on Alek's face.

"Really, Revan?" he said.

"Really."

"Hey, I don't give you a hard time about your love life." he replied.

"Because I don't have one." Revan replied.

"Riiiight." he said, "Because there's totally nothing at all going on between you and Bastila."

Meetra stopped laughing for a moment, to high five Alek. "Nice one, Baldy."

Revan said, "I've said it before. And I will say it again, there is no such thing going on, and you people are jumping to conclusions."

"Uh-huh." Alek said, "Totally nothing. Other than you two constantly hanging out. Your watching her every move. Making so her Master is put under trial, and generally taking the role of her protector."

"I have not." Revan growled.

Meetra whispered in Revan's ear, "Yeah, you haven't."

"Not helping." Revan said.

"Anyways," Alek said, "you leave my love life alone, and I'll leave yours alone."

"Fair enough. If I ever have one."

Alek and Meetra shook their heads, and said, "She's either stubborn, or just oblivious."

"I can hear you." Revan said. "And, like I said earlier, I need to get some sleep. So, out, all of you! Go to bed."

"When did you become a grouchy old man?" Alek asked.

"Baldy, Meetra, Bastila, would you three please leave so I can get some fucking sleep?" Revan asked.

"Revan!" Bastila said.

"What?" Revan said, looking very bored, and tired.

"Quit swearing."

"Yes mother, who is somehow younger than I am." Revan said.

Meetra laughed, and said, "She's trying to compensate, make us think she isn't interested."

Meanwhile, Bastila said, "I am not acting like your mother! You just aren't acting as befits a Jedi Knight!"

"How would you know, Bastila?" Revan asked, smirking. "You're just a Padawan at the moment."

"Pulling rank, Revan?" Alek asked.

"All of you, out!" She said, sounding irritated.

Meetra said, "Except for you Bastila. I'm sure she'd rather you spent the night with her."

Revan just said, "You did see what I did to the Dark Jedi, right? Well, you are standing on very thin ice. So go, if you don't want me to go postal and murder all three of you."

"Alright, alright, chill, Rev." Meetra said, as she and Alek left.

Revan looked at Bastila and said, "Meetra wasn't right, you know."

"Sorry. I was just wondering why you've been acting so weird."

"I'm tired. That's why."

"Alright." Bastila said, leaving.
