Revan stepped towards the airlock, when she felt a trickle of fear. She paused for a moment, before pushing it aside, and hitting the button to open the inner door of the airlock. However, the panel put up a message saying, "Error. Access card has not been entered."
Revan shook her head, and said, "Figures. Just when I need to do something quickly, something slows me down." as she reached into the pocket of the layer of her robes she had removed, and pulled out a security spike. As she set about working on opening the terminal, the fear crept back into her. And, then a tiny amount of doubt crept in. She shook it off, and continued working on hacking the door.

When Alek finished cutting a hole in the door, Bastila sprinted out through it, heading towards where she could sense Revan's mind. She pushed Republic soldiers out of her way as she came across them in the hallway. Not stopping for a moment. Her mind racing, 'Revan can't do that. If she dies, I'll be all alone again. If she dies, I won't have anyone to talk to. I won't have anyone to confide in. I can't lose her. She means too much to me. Not to mention the potential problems from having the bond broken like that. But, that's a minor thing compared to losing Revan.'

Meetra leaned back against a wall, and sighed. "Maybe you should go try and talk Revan out of committing suicide." Selena said.
"I couldn't." Meetra said. "The state Revan's in, no one can talk her out of it."
"What makes you so certain?"
"Revan is stubborn." Meetra said, "She's made her mind up. She thinks that she's fallen, so she's determined to end herself to protect Bastila."
"You're awfully quick to give up on her, Meetra. Is it because of what she did earlier?"
"No." Meetra replied, "It's because I know Revan. The only person who was ever able to talk her out of ending her life when she was determined to do so was Grand Master Sunrider. And she isn't anywhere near here."
"This has happened before?"
"One day, on Coruscant." Meetra said, "She just said she couldn't take the nightmares of her time on Nar Shaddaa and how she was taken there anymore. I tried to convince her to not take the jump, but she wouldn't listen."
Selena shook her head, and said, "I thought that with how she handled the battle and that camp on the surface that she'd be stronger willed than this. Not some coward who would rather take her own life than deal with difficulty."
Meetra said, "It's not that she doesn't want to deal with difficulty. It's that she thinks it's the only way to protect Bastila from her."
"Still stupid and cowardly." Selena said.
"Not really. She's sacrificing herself because she believes it's the only way to protect someone else. I don't see where cowardice comes into it."
"You don't jump straight to suicide." Selena growled, "You look for other options first, and then go to it if there aren't any."
"Rev's mind works insanely quickly." Meetra replied, "She probably considered a hundred or more options in the time it would take a normal person to decide what kind of sandwich they want for lunch."

Revan grinned in triumph as the panel said, "Access granted." before opening the door. She stepped towards the open door, when she saw a pair of Republic troops walking up. One asked, "What are you doing, Jedi?"
"Just checking something out." Revan replied, as she stepped in. "Nothing to worry about."
"Alright." they replied, and walked away. Revan then was about to close the door, when she heard Bastila say,
"What in the name of the Force are you doing, Rev?"
"What I must." Revan replied, "I cannot corrupt you because of my own fall."
"Corrupt me because of your fall? You know, I think that if you had unwittingly fallen to the dark side, Rev, you would have shown it a bit more." Bastila said. "Everyone loses their temper every now and then. If it were a sign of having fallen, then there wouldn't be any Jedi who aren't."
Revan shook her head, and said, "I killed hundreds over revenge. I sacrificed the lives of those who were under my command for my own personal vengeance. I might try to come up with logical excuses for why it, but in the end it is unacceptable what I have done. I have pushed others towards my own actions so that I can continue my own quest for vengeance. I don't care about how it will affect others."
"You don't actually think that, Rev." Bastila growled. "You may try to justify what you're doing by saying that everything you've done here is because you've fallen, but why then would you practically sacrifice your life to save others! In war, sacrifices have to be made! You did what you could to save as many lives as possible!"
"Keep telling yourself that." Revan replied, moving to close the door again, but Bastila stood where it would not close.
"You aren't going to get me to just let you kill yourself that easily, Revan." she said.
"It is not your choice to make, Shan." Revan replied. "I have fallen, and in order to protect others from me, I have to end myself."
"Would someone who had fallen really give a fuck about protecting other people?" Bastila asked.
"Maybe I'm not entirely lost, and want to make sure that I don't go completely down the path. We already know there is personality bleed from the bond, so it could lead to your corruption."
Bastila slapped Revan, and growled, "Quit treating me like I'm a child. I can handle myself. Maybe you should start considering that it might have a worse effect on me if you kill yourself, and violently sever the bond? What happened that you have gone from willing to sacrifice coming here at all to keep that from happening to now you're going to do it yourself."
Revan rubbed her cheek which was now bright red, and replied, "Things change, Shan."
"Not this bloody quickly!" Bastila shouted. "What is with you, Revan? Do you really only think of yourself this much?" tears beginning to form at the edges of her eyes, "Did you never consider that I'd rather risk falling to the dark side than lose the only friend I've ever made? That I'd rather not have to explain to the Council why I have a mental breakdown after you kill yourself? Or perhaps have to explain to them why you did it? Why is it always about protecting me?"
Revan slapped Bastila, and said, "Shut your mouth, Shan. You have a duty as a member of the Jedi Order to see all who have fallen to the dark side slain. I have fallen. Therefore it is your duty to see me dead."
"BUT YOU HAVEN'T FALLEN!" Bastila screamed. "PEOPLE WHO HAVE FALLEN DON'T KILL THEMSELVES BECAUSE OF IT! Maybe you just need to take a deep breath, Revan."
Revan raised a hand and pushed Bastila into the far wall with the Force. The Knight then said, "It would be in your best interest to stay out of my way, Shan. You will find nothing but destruction by following me."
"Revan, quit being a bitch." Bastila said. "You need to clear your head. And doing this isn't going to do that."
"My head has never been clearer." Revan replied, as she was about to close the door when Bastila leaped at her. The Padawan smashed into the Knight, sending her flying back, and said while on top of her, "I'm not going to let you do this."
Revan lingered for a moment, thinking, 'This feels so... nice. Maybe I should just stay here for a while. NO! I have to protect her. I can't let her lose her future because of my own darkness.'
Then, the Knight said, "I am doing this for you, Shan. So that you will not be corrupted by me."
"I've spoken to Meetra Surik for more than two minutes, Revan. I'm already as corrupted as it gets."
"This is different." Revan replied, pushing Bastila back out of the door.
Bastila shook her head, and said, "Why do you have to be so bloody stubborn, Revan? No one but you thinks you've fallen just because you lost your temper. That just makes you human."
"And someone with as much power as I have cannot be merely human."
"Don't say things like that. No one expects you to be more than human, Rev."
"Do not speak to me with such familiarity, Shan." Revan growled.
"Why not, Rev? We're friends, aren't we?"
"We are allies, nothing more. Anything outside of a mutually beneficial professional relationship would have been a waste of my time."
"Quit faking, Rev." Bastila flatly replied.
"Why don't you just shut up and leave me alone to my fate?" Revan asked, "You are nothing but a spoiled brat who was beaten a bit by a cat, so lost your spine. And, you're so much of a daddy's girl that you assumed that your mother hated you just because she sent you away from a life of moving across the galaxy every two weeks so that he could go on his treasure hunts. No, obviously it was out of a vendetta against you."
"Oh, that's the route you're going to go? Just try to make me so angry with you that I'll let you kill yourself?" Bastila asked. "That won't work. Because, despite the cold exterior of someone who just sees me as a tool, I know that isn't who you really are. You may be saying that you only saw me as a tool, but you don't actually mean it. I know that you care for me as a friend. And I care for you too. Which is why I won't let you do this."
"The plan to use you as a tool to get me further involved in the war was my own." Revan growled.
"No it wasn't. If it had been, you would have tried to talk me into agreeing with it, Rev. Not told me how it wasn't your plan. If it had been your plan, you would have locked me in that room until I accepted it. Believe it or not, I know you, Rev. And I know for a fact that you wouldn't do that to a friend."
"But you fail to understand that you and I were never friends. You, Alek, Meetra, all tools. I have not had friends since Deralia."
"Don't try to trick me like that, Revan." Bastila said. "You aren't as good a liar as you think you are."
Revan glared at her, and said, "You are such a fool. So naïve. You think you understand me, but you know nothing of me. Because when we spoke, I spoke mostly in lies."
"No you didn't." Bastila said.
"You are an idiot, Shan. You only have one talent, and that is Battle Meditation. Your skills with other Force abilities and the lightsaber are sub-par. You will never accomplish anything until you get your head out of your ass and realize how worthless you are."
"Are you sure you haven't just been possessed by Quatra, Revan?" Bastila asked. "Because that sounds almost exactly like what she would say. Only made harsher in an attempt to upset me. It won't work, Revan. Because I know you don't mean it."
Revan shook her head, and said, "You are as stubborn as Grand Master Sunrider. I'll give you that. But there's one thing that she had that you lack. Any air of gravity. You are a small, weak child who thinks that she is an adult."
Bastila sighed, and said, "The only thing pushing you to the dark side, Rev, is your being convinced that you are already there."
Revan turned her back on Bastila and said, "Maybe. Just know, that this is for the best." with a soft smile. "Goodbye, Bas."
Bastila then ran over to Revan, and wrapped her arms around the older woman. And she said, "Please don't do this, Rev. I don't know what I'd do if I lost you. You're my best friend. You're the only person I feel like I can confide in. I feel like I could tell you anything, and you'd just listen. So please, don't kill yourself. Please, stop being like this."
Revan looked up, and sighed, wrapping one arm around Bastila. "Even after everything I said, you're still trying to get me to turn back. You're more stubborn than most. It's just, I can't stay like this. I'm going to end up hurting you, Bastila."
"You haven't fallen, Rev." Bastila said, "I would have sensed something through the bond if you had."
"What if you're wrong, Bas?" Revan asked, her voice soft.
"I know I'm not." Bastila replied, "So, can we please leave this airlock?"
Revan said, "Yeah. But first, I'm sorry about what I said, Bas. I-I shouldn't have said it."
"Rev, it's in the past. Let's just... forget about this, and move on."
"Alright. But I'm still going to need to apologize to Meetra and Jade."
"Yes, you definitely need to do that." Bastila agreed.

Kreia stepped into the dark temple, and was greeted by a child saying, "You shouldn't be here, Jedi."
"I am here to speak with Venerus, child." the seer replied, "You would be wise to take me to him."
"There is no need for him to take you to me." Venerus said. "What is it you wish to discuss, Kreia. I was under the impression that you wanted nothing to do with me."
"Your actions nearly cost Revan her life, Venerus. You manipulated Jade into angering her, and then when Revan was angry, used that as a hole in her defenses to manipulate her directly."
"Ah yes." Venerus said, "Was it not a masterful piece of deception, Kreia? Have you come to congratulate me for it?"
"I have come to warn you that I have found the other who helped me stop you so long ago, and that if you continue to try and bring Revan under your command that I will get his assistance once more, and you shall be imprisoned for another thousand years."
"I see." Venerus said. "If I escaped your prison once before, what makes you think that I would not be able to do so again, but in a few weeks, instead of a thousand years?"
"It only works for a thousand years, then unless it is reinforced it can be escaped from." Kreia said. "That is why, Venerus. The question remains though, will it be necessary?"
"I shall leave Revan be." he replied.
"Good." Kreia said, vanishing.

Revan walked up to Meetra and said, "Sorry about what I said earlier... I don't know what had gotten into me."
"It's not a problem, Rev." Meetra said.
"Where's Jade?"
"Gonna try and kill her again, Rev?" Meetra asked, with a mischievous gleam in her eyes.
Revan laughed, and said, "Nope. To apologize for trying to kill her. I overreacted."
"That does seem to be more common as of late."
"Indeed." Revan replied, "It looks like I need to pull myself together. So that this doesn't happen again."
"Just get laid, Rev." Meetra said with a wink, "It's a great way to unwind."
Revan shook her head, and said, "Not my thing."
"It is everyone's thing."
"Uhm," Bastila said, looking very uncomfortable, "this doesn't seem to be on topic. Where is Jade?"
"Oh, she's hiding on the ceiling." Meetra said pointing up.
Revan glanced up and said, "Meetra's levitating you?"
"Velcro." The sergeant replied.
"You just had the stuff to velcro yourself to the ceiling on you?" Bastila asked.
"It was in the supply locker down the hall." Selena replied. "I figured it might be better to hide when I heard you were talked out of offing yourself, Tremaine."
Revan chuckled, and said, "About my trying to kill you... I'm sorry. I, uh, I don't know what had gotten into me. I'm usually much less violent to my allies, even if they are being insubordinate."
"Does it count as being insubordinate if you don't even work for the same people I do, so you technically can't be my boss."
Revan nodded, and said, "Well played, Sergeant. So, will you forgive me for trying to end your life?"
"Just don't do it again and I'll keep it out of my reports." Selena said.
"Deal." Revan replied, extending her hand. Seeing this Bastila tilted her head, as Revan and Selena shook hands.
"Why do you do that?" She asked, confusion clear in her voice.
"What, shake hands? It's a sign of agreeing to a deal, when paperwork isn't involved. Or just done when you meet someone. It's the polite thing to do." Revan explained. "Did they not do that on Talravin?"
"That's where her accent is from!" Selena said, "Thanks for inadvertently clearing that up, Revan. It's been bugging me for hours."
"No problem. But what the fuck kind of soldier uses the word inadvertently?"
"My mom and dad made me go through six years of writing classes before they accepted that I didn't want to be a writer."
Revan chuckled, and said, "That must have sucked."
"It was awful." Selena said.
Then, Dodonna's voice rang out over the PA system, "We have arrived over Taris. Jedi you are to report to Commander William Veras ASAP. Sergeant Jade, you are to accompany the Jedi due to the enemy thinning their numbers. Everyone else, return to your posts."
"Great." Revan said. "You know where Veras is, Selena?"
"He'll probably be in the hangar, if we're supposed to be moving out."
"Got it, let's move." Revan said.

Davik looked at one of his enforcers, and asked, "Are you certain that this man has managed to kill every last bounty hunter who has been sent after him?"
"Yes sir." the enforcer, a tall man with dark skin and a face covered with so many scars that it was doubtful any of it wasn't a scar.
"Then you may go after him. Show him that if you owe me money, you pay." Davik said. "Or you die."
"Gladly, sir." The enforcer said, walking away with a smile on his face.
Davik then looked at the woman at his feet. She was chained to his throne, only allowed to wear the collar the chain was attached to and thin lingerie. He said, "Why do you glare with such hate? It was your inability to pay your debts which put you here."
She glared, and said, "I am a member of the Jedi Order. You have captured me on false pretences, Davik."
"And who is going to say that you are a Jedi? We found no proof of it when we captured you for your debt."
"You have the wrong woman, Kang."
"I know I do not." He replied.
"You are a damn fool." The woman growled.
-=0=-
Revan sat down in the shuttle, and asked Veras, "What are our orders?"
"We recently received a message from a Jennifer Kilthas. She says that her identical twin sister, Samantha Kilthas was captured by Davik's men because of a debt that Jennifer owed."
"Wait," Meetra said, "Samantha's on Taris? When'd she leave Coruscant?"
"You know her?" Veras asked.
"Yes." Revan said, "She is another Jedi Knight. She and Meetra used to be... close."
"Do we have to rescue her?" Meetra asked. "She was kinda bitchy."
"Meetra..." Revan sighed.
"What, I'm just saying the truth."
"There is a fellow Jedi who has been reduced to a slave." Bastila said. "Regardless of your personal feelings towards her, it is your duty as a Jedi to help her."
"What Bastila said." Revan said, nodding at the Padawan.
"Can't I do something else? Like, I don't know, pick up some chips at a store?"
"You're coming along, Meetra." Revan flatly replied.
"What's her problem with this other Jedi?" Veras asked
"She used to date Samantha, but then Samantha cheated on her with some guy, and when Meetra got upset about it, Samantha told her to quit being so old fashioned. That she was an idiot to think that any form of monogamy was a waste."
"Wow." Selena said, "This Samantha chick does sound like a bitch. Are you sure we should rescue her? It seems like she might like being one of Davik's slaves. She sounds like the kind of person who might like it."
"No." Revan replied, "Even though I agree that she would deserve to be left there. We have our orders, and we have to follow them. Despite our dislike of the individual who we are being sent to rescue. It may have a positive influence on the war effort."
"Alright, alright." Meetra replied, "But you have to talk to her."
"Who says anyone has to talk to her?" Revan asked. "Just get her out of there with the rest of the slaves, and we'll be fine."
"Fine." Meetra said. "I'd still rather not come along."
"I think that can be said for both of us." Revan replied.
"We'll be showing up at Davik's estate tonight. My contact has to arrange a meeting."
"Who's your contact?" Revan asked.
"He's one of our best. Set up so that Davik would send one of his best men after him. We're going to be at the location the target will be led to believe he is at. We'll then capture him, and force him to take us to Davik's estate. We'll use the guise of being interested in being recruited to get in and not attacked on sight by the guards."
"Got it." Revan said. "What are we to do in the meantime?"
"Make sure you have everything you'll need for a potential fight with dozens of guards."
"Why does everything have to end in a massive fight?" Bastila asked.
"I'm hoping it won't." Veras said, "But you have to be prepared for the worst to come to pass."
"We'll get ready." Revan said.
"Good." Veras said, as the shuttle doors opened. "This is where you get off." He said. "I'll pick you kids up once we're ready to move out. So don't get drunk."
"Understood, Commander." Selena said, "I'll keep them sober."
"Good. I'm counting on you to keep these kids in line, Selena." Veras said, as the five of them exited the vehicle.
Once it had flown away, Selena said, "So, do you kids know of any supplies you'll need for the fight?"
"Nothing that I can think of." Meetra said.
"I'm fine." Alek replied.
"Bastila and I have all the weaponry and medical supplies we'll need."
"What about armor?" Selena asked.
"That would just slow us down." Bastila said, while Meetra and Alek were falling over laughing.
"What's so funny?" Bastila asked.
"They think it's funny how I spoke for you as the dominant partner in a romantic relationship may speak for the non-dominant partner. Despite the fact that I was simply doing so because the bond between us enabled me to notice that you don't need anything, so I relayed the information in the most efficient manner possible."
"Good lord..." Selena said, shaking her head. "You don't have to explain everything you do. It's like you think we're all your parents, and that if we find out you have a crush on someone younger than you we'll ground you for a month."
Revan replied, "You're going to be difficult to command, Sergeant. That's... unfortunate since Meetra has such a... fondness for you."
"Geez," Selena said with a grin, "care to sound more like an old geezer, Tremaine?"
"No." Revan replied, "I heard there's a dueling ring here. Where is it?"
"I don't think they accept lightsabers in there." Selena said.
"Then I'll need to buy a couple of swords." Revan said.
"Why are you looking into a dueling ring?" Bastila asked.
"It's really good money." Revan said. "Assuming the guy running isn't some fucking cheapskate who only gives the fighters ten percent of the profits."
Bastila lightly slapped Revan, and said, "You really need to clean up your mouth."
"I seem to remember using that same word earlier when you were talking me out of killing myself."
"WHAT!" Meetra said, "You have to tell us the whole story."
"She just said that anyone who had fallen wouldn't give a fuck about protecting other people."
Meetra said, "Awwww, that is so much less 'interesting' than what I had in mind."
Revan shook her head, and said, "You need help, Meetra. You seriously need help."
"No I don't." Meetra replied. "You do remember what happened when the Council tried to get me a psychiatrist, right?"
"Didn't you end up sleeping with her?" Revan asked.
"Uh, yes. That did happen." Meetra said. "But, in my defense, she was really hot."
"So, they really did get you a psychiatrist? You just didn't drive her crazy?"
"Oh, Nomi told you about the psychiatrist thing?" Meetra asked. "Well, she did end up being crazy about me." the Knight sighed, and added, "Those were some good times, those sessions."
"Did the Council find out?"
"Nope. She decided that it wasn't healthy, so said that there wasn't anything that could be done for me. That I was annoying her to the point where it was driving her insane."
"Knowing you, I wouldn't be surprised if you actually were."
"Bastila!" Meetra said, "I'm hurt. Didn't you know that I am not all annoying to people who have seen me in a very compromising position?"
"So, the only way to get you to be polite is to sleep with you?" Bastila asked.
"Not polite. Just not annoying." Meetra said. "I'm always polite."
"Yeah right." Revan said, laughing. "What about the guy you were leading on for two months. Does that really count as polite?"
"Touche, Revan. Touche."
Revan nodded as they walked into a store. The shop owner said, "Welcome to Kebla Yurt's Equipment Emporium. How can I help you?"
"I need a pair of swords. As light as possible, while still being durable enough to not break in serious combat."
"Why would a Jedi Knight such as yourself bother with metal weapons? Don't you have lightsabers?"
"I'm planning on spending some time in the dueling ring. So, I'll need some weapons which are in line with the rules."
"I see. I've got a pair of excellent vibroblades. They're lightweight, while still durable."
"I can test out the product before purchase, right?" Revan asked.
"Of course. What store would expect a customer to buy a weapon without testing it out."
"Any of them on Coruscant." Revan replied.
"What brings a Jedi from Coruscant all the way to Taris during a time of war?"
"The tall bald guy, the cute brunette, and I were actually training at an Enclave on Dantooine before we were sent onto a mission to Cathar with the annoying blonde,"
"Hey!" Meetra said, interrupting Revan.
"Then shit hit the fan, and we had to fall back here."
Revan concluded.
"What happened on Cathar? We haven't heard much about it here."
"The mandalorians have pushed the Republic out of the system. Perhaps if they had put an Admiral who knew how to handle a fucking battle we could have won. But no, Admiral 'I don't know what I'm doing' Forsk was put in charge." Revan said, glaring at the ground.
Bastila placed a hand on Revan's shoulder and said, "Relax, Revan." and through the bond asked, "What was with that cute line earlier?"
"What?" Revan asked, "Just because I say I don't want to sleep with you doesn't mean I can't admit you're attractive."
"Why was there that say? Is Meetra right?"
"Uhhhhhhhhhh..." Revan replied. "Not at the moment. Though it might change in the future. You never can be sure with matters of a romantic nature."
"You certainly have become non-commital in your talking about it."
"I just don't want to think about it. It's irritating to think about how people say how I feel. And, especially with my recent breakdown being semi-caused by dealing with that. So, I'd rather just not worry about it, and focus more on getting my head back into how I was before leaving Coruscant. Calm, and feeling emotions, but not being controlled by them."
"Is irritation really an emotion?"
"Depends on who you ask."
"True. Uhm, I think the storekeeper is trying to hand you your weapons."
"Oh, right. Thanks for pointing that out, Bas." Revan replied before turning to Kebla and took the weapons. She held them both up, and said, "Do you have one where that is same length, but two ounces lighter halfway down the blade?"
"I do, but they may be a bit less durable." Kebla said.
"Will it still be able to handle most attacks?"
"At the dueling ring, yes. In actual combat, no."
"Then I'll take a look at those."
Kebla nodded, and said, "How do you know the difference in the weight and the positioning for balance?"
"Lightsabers have similar effects added, because if it was just a blade of energy without the blade having a simulated counter-balance it did not feel right, and people kept cutting off their own limbs, as the blade did not feel like it was actually there."
"Interesting." Kebla said as she handed Revan a pair of vibroblades.
Revan held them both, twirled them quickly, and then said, "These will do. What's the price?"
"Two thousand credits." Kebla said.
"Sold." Revan said, handing over the payment.
"Enjoy your weapons. What's your name, stranger?"
"Revan." she replied.
"Well, I'll be sure to keep an eye out for you in the ring, Revan." She said. "You seem like someone who actually understands her weaponry, instead of just seeing them as chunks of metal for killing. You understand that they're more than that. That not just any one will work."
Revan chuckled, and said, "When you are learning how to fight six hundred pound creatures where your Force abilities are pretty much useless, you learn everything you can about the other weapons which will be available to you."
Kebla nodded, and said, "Good luck in the dueling ring."
"I won't need it." Revan said, as she exited the store.
"So," Bastila asked, "Do you really plan to fight in the dueling ring?"
"Yeah." Revan said, "I wouldn't drop two thousand credits on a pair of swords just to use them to decorate my wall?"
"No." Bastila admitted. "I was just wondering why, if we get so much combat in this mission, that you'd be looking for more."
"Two reasons, Bas. First, to earn some decent cash. And second, I'll only be doing non-death matches. So it will be a good, safe way to blow off some steam."
"Makes sense." Meetra said.
"Right." Selena said, "And it'll be a good chance for me to get nice and drunk."
"Didn't Veras tell you to keep us from getting drunk?" Alek asked.
"Yeah, but he's always been a stick in the mud. Who cares what he thinks? I'll be the drunk one when we go over to Davik's place."
"No." Revan said. "I get that you don't respect anyone. That you see yourself as the fun loving puckish rogue working in the army. That doesn't mean you can just go around getting drunk. Someone's life is on the line with the operation we will be doing tonight. So, you will treat this seriously."
"Someone who both you and Meetra have called a total bitch. The kind of slut who would enjoy being a slave?"
"Selena has a very valid point." Meetra pointed out.
Alek said, "But that's not what we're supposed to determine. We're just supposed to get the job done."
"Right." Meetra grumbled, "You're just hoping you'll be able to get into her pants."
He chuckled, and said, "I enjoy a challenge for getting into a girl's pants. I don't like the ones who are just like 'Let's go and do it in that tree two feet away.'"
"Oh shit." Revan said, "Looks like we've had you down wrong all along. We thought you just wanted to have sex with anything that was anatomically female."
"Really? Just anatomically? Not even genetically female?" he asked.
"Just anatomically." Revan said, "I always thought you'd do with a former male if they were anatomically a woman."
"Ouch." he replied, "Did I really come off like that?"
"Nope." Revan said, "You do come off as incredibly gullible; however."
"Thanks, Revan." He muttered.
"No problem." she replied, as the group stepped into the bar.

A/N: Gonna cut this one off here so that the chapter comes to you guys within a reasonable time frame. I don't want to upset you guys by giving you updates like once every three months, but have each chapter the size of War and Peace.(Though hopefully with fewer names that you don't know how to pronounce.) Anyways, thanks for reviewing, and please follow/favorite if you not have already. But seriously, please review! Reviews make my day! I am incredibly grateful for them. I do not know how much content I have to put out and how much I have to plea for reviews for more people to review. Albeit, to those who do review, I'm extremely grateful to each and every last one of you. Be it just a quick sentence, or a more in depth thought on the chapter you're reviewing I am incredibly/eternally grateful for the reviews. I believe they have helped me become a better writer and the story become better and more enjoyable. And who knows, more reviews could help me make the story even better. So, please do review. I personally think that you guys reviewing is a win-win situation. I win by getting feedback which helps me improve my writing. And you win by getting better content. So, REVIEW! Please. Also, if you have friends who read fanfiction, please spread the word about Beyond the Light and the Dark to them. And if you read Mass Effect fanfiction, please check my ME fanfiction out. It's where I started out though, so be warned that the first few chapters of them will be poor. But, they have lots of interesting AU stuff like this. And, they get better as they go along. Much, much better.
Again, thanks for reading. Until next time, this is Cthulu1, the fanfic author who doesn't believe in canon, signing out.
