As Johnson's lightsaber flew through the air towards Bastila, she froze. Then, just before it connected with her, when it was so close that she could feel the heat emanating from the weapon, it turned and slammed into the wall. She looked towards Johnson, and saw Revan standing behind him.

As he saw her approach, fear crept into his eyes. He turned to recover his blade, but Revan's twin weapons were already upon him. He barely managed to roll away from the strike, but was not able to dodge the next. As both of his arms fell useless to the ground, Revan kicked him back into the nearby wall where his blade was, and after a quick glance at the synthetic arms lying on the ground she said, "Damn. Venerus did some serious damage to you." before striking at him once more. He managed to avoid the attack, and counter with a kick to Revan's torso. She stumbled backwards slightly, and then stabbed him in the torso. He groaned in pain, but that was quickly silenced by Revan severing his head. She turned to Bastila, and asked, "Are you alright?"
"Yeah, I'm fine. What did you do to make his lightsaber turn in the middle of its course?"
"I overpowered his command over it with my own Force abilities. It was the only way to make sure he didn't kill you."

Then, Selena said, "We've got the person we're here to rescue. Please tell me you guys have some clothes for me and her to put on."

Revan nodded, and said, "Meetra and Alek have 'em. I don't know what size clothes you wear, so we took the size that is supposedly 'one size fits all'. Get dressed quickly. We need to get out of here in the next seven minutes. After that, Davik's men will probably figure out that something has gone wrong in here. Thanks to that dead dumbass." as Meetra and Alek tossed Selena and Samantha the clothes. A couple of minutes later, they were both dressed in echani fiber armor. And, Samantha said,
"Why are you guys here? I thought that you'd rather leave me here as a slave."

"That wasn't an option." Meetra replied, "We were given orders to get you out of here. We have to follow them."
"Why? You've never cared for following orders Meetra." Samantha said.

"Because Rev said that I have to follow them." Meetra replied.

"We can talk about this later. We need to get moving. We're down to four minutes to get the hell out of here." Revan said scanning the area for hostiles. "They currently don't have any reason to suspect that something is wrong at the moment, but they will soon. So we need to get out of here before they do."
"How do I know you aren't planning to kill me?" Samantha asked.

"You're not even worth the effort it would take to end you." Revan replied. "We're just here because the Council wants you rescued, and I'm going to need as much leverage with them as possible asap."
"Why?"
"How long have you been here?" Bastila asked.

"Don't talk to the trash, Bastila." Revan said, glaring at Samantha.

"Five months." the woman replied.

"Well, the mandalorians have attacked the Republic. We're at war, and the Jedi have been forbidden from going out and actually helping. So, I need to be able to influence them to actually let us do our fucking jobs. I'm hoping this will help. Otherwise I'll have just wasted my time. But, we need to move out. We're down to two minutes."
"Alright alright." Samantha said. "Let's go."

"Follow me." Revan said, "And have your weapons ready."
"You still have ours." Bastila said.

"True." Revan replied tossing Bastila her lightsaber and nodding at Meetra to give Selena her rifle. "Alright, move out!"
"Hey," Samantha said as she pulled Johnson's weapon from the wall, "do you guys really think I can't have a weapon?"
"I wouldn't trust you to not stab Meetra in the back with it." Revan replied, taking the lightsaber from Samantha.

"Hey, that was years ago! And, I did it because Meetra was so obviously in love with you! I figured there was no point in staying faithful to her, when she'd cheat on me with you the instant you were legal."
"That wouldn't have happened. I see Meetra as a sister. Sleeping with her would just be weird, and awkward." Revan said, as they walked out of the room and were greeted by six guards carrying repeating blaster rifles.
The leader, a rodian, said, "Looks like our guests are attempting to break out some slaves. Kill them."

"Kill us?" Revan asked, glaring at the alien, "I don't think you realize just what you're up against. Guys, go back into the slave quarters, I'll take care of this trash."

"Nobody moves!" the rodian said.
"Why? So you can shoot us?" Meetra asked.

Revan shook her head, and said, "You guys want to put your weapons down."

"Do you really think that we are so weak minded as to be influenced by your Force manipulation?"
"I wasn't using the Force to do that." Revan said, "I was telling you that you really do not want to fuck with me and my friends."

"You will regret threatening us!" the rodian said, "Men, fire!"

"Nope, lightning." Revan said, as all six guards were consumed by pillars of lightning. Once it had dissipated, Samantha said,

"How in the name of the Force did you do that?"
"I used a fuckton of Force energy." Revan replied, then when Bastila slapped her lightly, said, "Sorry, Bas. Old habits die hard."
"Wait, did Revan just apologize for swearing?" Samantha asked.

"Yup." Meetra said, nodding.

"How bad does she have it for Bastila?"
"Hilariously." Selena said, "But don't give her a hard time about it. She'll kill you."
"No, I'll mostly kill her." Revan said, "But, we'll all be dead if we don't get moving. They know something's gone wrong, and their numbers will be increasing. We need to get the hell out of here."
"Right. Where's Veras?" Bastila asked.
"He went to get extraction." Selena replied.

"He said he'll meet us in the car at the throne room window. It's the fastest way out. And, a short distance from here. If we're lucky, he'll be waiting for us just out of sight."
"If we aren't?" Bastila asked.
"We'll have to hold the line until he does show up." Revan replied, as they walked into the throne room. Sitting on the throne, eating some cherries, was Davik. He turned and said,

"I see you have decided to betray me, Revan."

"I never was on your side."
"I see that now." he replied, "I was right to be skeptical of you. Guards, kill them all."
"That's not going to happen." Revan said, igniting her twin lightsabers, "Anyone who tries to harm my companions will have to go through me. None of your men are good enough to even stand a chance."
"Oh, you are so wrong." Davik said, "Send in the elite guard."
"Are they better than an entire mandalorian battle camp?" Revan asked. "Because I destroyed one of those on Cathar. They all came at me, and I killed them."
"You really are quite violent for a Jedi Knight." Davik said, "You might make someone think you're a Sith."
Revan laughed, and said, "When someone almost kills one of your closest friends, but they survive relatively unharmed just due to luck, you want to make them pay. And, to do what you can to prevent them from having a chance to do it again. So, I did. I went in, and I killed every last one of them. And, if you think you can hurt my friends now, you're in for a surprise. I will cut down every last one of your men if that is what it takes to protect them. So, Davik, you have a simple choice. Let us go, or die."

"Rev," Bastila said over the bond, "you killed the entire camp because of what happened to me?"

"Yes, and I'd do it again. You're one of my best friends. I protect my friends." Revan replied. As she saw the approaching guards. Twenty-seven in number they entered the room, repeating blasters in hand and vibroblades sheathed at their hips.
Revan laughed, and said, "You'll have to do better than that." before charging them. They began to fire on her, but it connected with a swirling shield of Force energy. As the rounds were pulled into the center of the shield, Revan leaped above the guards, and returned the blaster rounds as a single sphere of energy. It connected with the center of the group, and exploded, just before Revan landed where it had been.

Before the guards had time to react, Revan had already cut off the heads of three, stabbed another through the heart, and cut the throats of three more. Her blades moved at such speed that the heat from them did not even begin to cauterize the wounds. So, as she struck her foe's down, she was covered in their blood.

She moved on to her next foe, a man who she stabbed in both of the lungs, before sending out a wave of Force energy which sent the man charging at her from behind flying away. She then threw her shorter blue sabre into him, while stabbing another guard in the head.

She pulled the weapon out of his skull as she jumped over a low strike from another's vibroblade. As she twisted in the air so that her weapon could cut through him, another stabbed at her from her side. She caught the blade in her free hand, while finishing off her initial target. She then yanked both the blade and its wielder towards her, and then she stabbed him through the heart with his own blade.

As the battle continued, the other Jedi and Selena watched in silent awe. Revan moved with such speed, power, and grace on the battlefield that it made anyone else seem inept.
Revan continued to fight the thinning numbers of the elite guard, when one fired on her. Everyone thought it was going to hit her, but in the split second between the blaster round being fired, and it connecting Revan's second blade flew towards her, deflecting the round.

Revan grabbed the weapon by its hilt, and jumped into the air, whirling both weapons above her head, before stabbing them into the ground when she landed. From the twin points of impact spheres of flame spread out, consuming the few remaining guards.

Revan turned to Davik, and said, while looking exhausted, "That the best you have to offer, Kang?" He sat on the throne in silence. The look in his eyes one of pure, petrifying fear. Revan asked again, "Were those the best guards you have?"
He sat there in silence for a moment longer, then said, his voice only just above a whisper, "Yes."
"That is really fu-disappointing." Revan said, stopping herself mid-word. Before the others could laugh, she turned to them, and said, "Don't."
"We wouldn't even consider it, Revan." Selena said, "But damn, that was badass. I didn't actually think you had taken out that mandalorian camp before. But, damn. You killed those motherfuckers so fast it wasn't even funny."
Revan shook her head, and said, "Looks like extraction has arrived." as she saw Veras drive up in a speeder. "Everyone get in." as she walked towards it. As they approached it, Davik hit a key on his throne, and suddenly dozens of guards charged the area. Just as Revan got in the vehicle, she saw that Bastila wasn't in. The Padawan was running towards the car, when suddenly she was swarmed by the guards. Revan moved to get out of the vehicle to help her, but was pulled back by Selena. The Sergeant said,

"We can't stay any longer, Revan! If we do, we'll all die."
"I'll kill them all on my own if I have to." Revan replied, as Veras pulled the speeder away from Davik's estate. "We can't abandon her! What happened to no one left behind!"

"We'll have to get a larger force to get Shan out of there." Veras said.

"There's no time!" Revan replied, "Who knows what they'll do to her in the time it takes to assemble a strike force!"

"You're letting your emotions override your better judgment, Tremaine." Veras said. "There were too many of them in there."
"We left her behind! We have to go back!"
"It's too dangerous." Veras sighed, "Once we have a larger force we can go in and rescue Shan. If we go in too soon and get ourselves killed it won't help her."
Revan glared at him as he brought the speeder down. Once everyone piled out, Revan glared at the looming tower of Davik's estate. She stood there in silence, she could sense Bastila's fear through the bond. 'I have to act quickly. If I don't they'll hurt her. I have to move.'

"Revan, don't do what I know you're thinking." Meetra said.

"Sorry, but I'm going to." she replied moving towards the vehicle once more.

"Tremaine, stop right there. You're going to get yourself killed."
"Better I die and she's safe than she gets hurt while I'm still alive." Revan replied.

Samantha said, "You aren't going to do your girlfriend any favors by getting yourself killed, Revan."
"Maybe if you'd been less skeptical about us rescuing you from that bunch of slavers this wouldn't have happened, Samantha."
"I'm just saying you won't do her any favors by getting yourself killed in an idiotic rescue attempt."
"You saw what I did to those 'elite' guards of Davik's. When I go in this time, I won't be holding back like I was then." Revan growled.

"Uh, Rev, I know you." Meetra said, "You weren't holding back then."
"My point is they won't stand a chance. I will cut every last one of them down. No one is going to stand in my way. If every last one of them was a Jedi Master they wouldn't have a chance. And these guys are nowhere near the level of a Jedi Master."
"There is no way that you'll survive this, Rev." Meetra said, "As much as I hate her, Samantha has a point. You won't do Bastila any favors by getting yourself killed."
"You all are forgetting something very important. They aren't going to kill me."
"With their numbers..." Meetra said, but Revan interrupted her saying,

"Their numbers don't matter. I'll kill all of them if they stand in my way." before activating the speeder, and turning towards Davik's estate.

-=0=-

A guard walked up to Davik, and said, "Sir, do you want us to pursue the ones who escaped?"
"No. This one will be enough. So long as we have her, they will return to recover her."

"Understood, sir. Where do we keep her?"
"In my private chambers. I will enjoy making Revan regret killing my men."
Bastila said, "I'd advise against doing that, Kang."
"Why?"
"Because if you do, Rev won't hold back. She will kill you in a manner which will be worse than anything you could possibly imagine."

"I have quite the active imagination Ms. Shan. What could she do?"
"Ancient rituals which would put your spirit through eternal torment. If you do anything she'll make you regret it." Bastila replied, as she struggled against the chains holding her in place.

Davik laughed, and said, "Your friend certainly does seem more inclined to be a Sith than a Jedi."
"Trust me, she's a Jedi. Just a better version of the current Order." Bastila replied.

"And what would that be?"
"Instead of going down a path of black and white extremes, she finds balance in between them."
Davik laughed, and said, "Send her to my quarters. I will see to her in a few hours."
-=0=-

Revan guided the speeder towards Davik's estate. Then, when she was in range of the solitary window in the throne room, she jumped out of the car and into the estate. She saw Davik laughing on his throne when she entered.

Seeing her put fear in his eyes. She just said, "Where. Is. Bastila?"
"Why should I tell you, Revan?"
"Because if you don't I will tear your internal organs out with my bare hands, and then I will force you to eat them." Revan replied, the ground shaking with energy as she approached Davik.

"You are a Jedi. Doesn't your Code forbid torture."
"I'm not here as a Jedi, Davik. I'm here because you captured someone I love, and I'm not leaving until you let her go. So, you have two options. Let Bastila go, and live. Or don't, and die the most horrifying death imaginable. The choice, is yours."

He looked at her for a moment, then said, "I had her relocated to my chambers."
Revan said, "You shouldn't have." Before igniting a lightsaber and slashing between Davik's legs. She walked towards the elevator, as he screamed in agony.

As she rode it up in silence, Revan asked Bastila over the bond, "Are you okay?"
"Rev? You're here?"
"Yes. You didn't really think I was going to leave you to these bastards, did you?"
"I was worried you would take longer to get here." Bastila admitted, "Do you have any backup? There are at least sixty guards on this level."

"I don't have backup. I have a plan." Revan replied.

"What's your plan?"

"If it moves and isn't us, it dies." Revan said, "I'm in a show-no-mercy mood. These slavers won't know what hit them. Do you still have your sabre?"

"No, the guard captain took it from me. He's guarding the door to Davik's chambers."

"Got it." Revan replied, as the door of the elevator opened. Three guards attacked her. She broke the first's neck before his vibroblade could hit her, stabbed the second with his vibroblade, and severed the last's head with her violet lightsaber. She walked into the hallway, and asked Bastila, "Did they take you left or right?"

"Right."

"How far?"

"I saw about seven doors on the left before they put me in one on the right."

"Got it. I'll be there soon, Bas." Revan replied, killing another pair of guards. When she reached a door guarded by a man with Bastila's lightsaber at his side, Revan said, "If you value your life, you'll give me that lightsaber, and you'll leave. I don't want to have to kill you. But, if you stand between me and Bastila, your future is very empty."
"If I don't do my job, Davik will have me killed."
"I doubt he's in any position to do that. He's probably too busy wishing that he was dead."
"What did you do to him?"
"I made him regret even considering touching Bastila. Now, get out of my way if you don't want to be dead."
"There is no way in hell that I am going to neglect my duty." he replied. "You're going to have to fight me to get to your girlfriend."
"She's not my girlfriend yet. She's still technically a minor."
"I saw what you did to her earlier..." he said.

"And I still feel disgusted by it. But, I had to in order to prevent scum like Davik taking advantage of her."
"So that when she turns eighteen you can be with her?"
"If she's interested." Revan replied. "So, please do me a favor and just give me the lightsaber and get out of the way."

"Sorry, no can do." he said, drawing a pair of vibroblades. "You're going to have to kill me to get to her."
"A shame." Revan replied igniting her weapons. She struck at his head, and he managed to catch it with his blade. Revan struck at his open left side with her other weapon, but he blocked that blow as well. She then kicked him in the torso, and stabbed him through the heart.

As he fell to the ground, he said, "Damn, you're good."

"Of course I am." Revan replied, taking Bastila's lightsaber from his corpse. She opened the door, and saw Bastila sitting in the corner, dressed in almost nothing.

She ran over to the younger woman, and said, "Are you alright, Bas?"

The Padawan looked up at her, and said, "Aside from being forced into this ridiculous outfit." as she continued to hide in the corner.

"What's wrong?"
"They're making me wear this slave outfit which is barely even an outfit. I don't want anyone to see me in it."
Revan nodded, and took off the outer layer of her robes. "Here, this'll cover you up a bit."

Bastila took it, and said, "Could you, uhm, look away."
"Sure." Revan replied, turning around. A moment later Bastila said,

"Thanks. At least I've got some semblance of decency now."
Revan glanced over at her, and said, "That's definitely better than what they have slaves wear. Where are your old clothes?"
"They threw them out the window. They're probably in the Undercity by now." Bastila sighed.

"Well, at least we'll be back with the others soon. With luck Meetra will keep her hands to herself, and we can get you back to your quarters on the ship so you can get dressed."

"That will be nice. This stuff is cold."

Revan nodded, doing her best not to look at Bastila's exposed legs. As they walked through the palace, Revan handed Bastila her weapon, and said, "Just in case Davik sends more people after us."
Bastila glad took the weapon back and said, "Thank you for coming here so soon. I don't even want to think about what would have happened if you didn't."
"I don't want to think about it either." Revan said, anger rising in her voice. "The thought of them hurting you like that... it makes me furious." as the elevator door opened, and Davik was now whimpering in pain on his throne.

As she walked by he said, "Please, kill me now."

"That would be the easy way out, Davik, you don't deserve it." Revan growled as she helped Bastila into the floating speeder. As they flew away, Bastila said,

"Did you do to Davik what I think you did?"
"Yes." Revan replied. "He deserved it."
"Revan... you can't let your emotions override your common sense." Bastila sighed.
Revan sighed, and said, "I don't regret what I did. I'd do it again in a heartbeat. The very thought of what he would have done... it makes me want to raze his estate to the ground, and kill everyone in it. To leave no evidence that he was ever alive."
"Revan, they didn't do anything to me." Bastila said, "You managed to prevent that. So, don't worry about it."
Revan sighed, and said, "It bothers me, Bastila. That the reason that it makes me so upset isn't that it would have happened to someone, but that it would have happened to you. Part of me thinks it's just because when it happens it'll affect me too through the bond. But, I just don't like it. Even if there wasn't the bond."
Bastila rested her head on Revan's shoulder, and said, "Rev, relax."
"Bas, when I think of the same thing happening to Samantha I just think it's justice. And, when I think of it happening to Meetra, I get angry. But I don't get as angry as when I think of it happening to you."
"It's just that I'm more of an innocent than she is. It's natural to be more upset when an innocent person is hurt than someone like Meetra."
"I guess you're right." Revan replied, as she landed the speeder beside where the others were. Bastila got out, followed by Revan a second later.
Meetra said, "Rev, looks like things went well. I trust you didn't cut anyone's dick off while rescuing Bastila?"
"Uhm..." Revan said looking around nervously. Looking for a way out of the situation.

"Was it anyone important?" Meetra asked, looking disappointed in Revan.

Meanwhile, Alek and Veras were slowly backing away from Revan. She turned to them, and said, "Are you two planning on raping Bastila? Because if not, you don't have any reason to be afraid."
"But... you... cut off a guy's dick, Revan." Alek said, "That's just not cool, regardless of what they're going to do. You just kill the guy before you do that."

"That's the thing, Alek. I didn't want to kill him. I wanted to send a message. I wanted to make it clear to all the other slavers that they aren't going to get away with doing whatever they want anymore. What clearer way to send that message than to mutilate, but not kill, the most powerful slaver out there?" Revan asked.

Alek said, "I guess you have a point. But, it still seems unnecessarily cruel. Just cut off an arm or a leg, or all his arms and legs. Just, not that."

"If I cut off both legs it would have probably been collateral damage." Revan replied.

"Can we focus on something else?" Bastila asked.

"Hey, I want to hear more about how that bastard had his dick cut off." Samantha said.
"Well, you can go back to whatever you were doing before you were captured." Meetra said, "You didn't have to stay around this long. In fact, I'm pretty sure that all of us would have preferred it if you were gone."
"Alright, I get the picture. You only saved me because you had orders. And now that I'm saved you never want to see me again."
"Correct." Revan said, "Now get the hell out of our sight."
"Okay. Don't cut my head off!" Samantha said.

"Don't tempt me." Meetra muttered, glaring at the woman as she ran away.

Veras then said, "Well, I suppose I should say job well done. We rescued the target and suffered no loses on our side."
"We suffered a temporary lose, Veras." Revan corrected.

"I suppose so." He agreed. "We should head back to the fleet. Wait for more orders."
"Sounds good to me." Revan replied. "Lead the way, boss."

"Try and be a little bit more serious, Tremaine." he sighed.

"Sorry, no can do, boss." she replied with a small grin.
"Good lord." he sighed, "The idiot virus must be spreading. First Surik, Jade, and Chrome-Dome, now you."

"HEY!" Alek said, "My last name isn't that hard to pronounce! It's just Squinquargesimus."

"It's what?" Bastila asked, laughing.

"Squinquargesimus." Alek said.

"That," Meetra said, gasping for breath, "is the most hilarious last name I've ever heard."
Alek sighed, and said, "Alright alright. Just go back to calling me baldy."
"Will do, Alek." Revan said, grinning slightly as the group walked towards where a shuttle was waiting for them.

When they stepped into the shuttle, Meetra said, "You know, Bastila, I think this new look could really work well for you. The long sleeves with no pants creates a great look for you."
"Meetra..." Revan sighed.

"What, I figured I'd say it for you, since you wouldn't be willing to." Meetra replied. "Even after you kissed her during the op."
"You all know that the only reason I did that was to make Davik think that I wanted to sleep with her. If there had been any other way to convince him, I would have done it." Revan sighed.

"We know, Rev." Meetra said, "I'm just saying that you definitely seemed into it when you were kissing her. You even went for a bit more."
"I had to create a convincing performance." Was all Revan said, as she blushed a dark crimson.

Bastila said, "Meetra, could you please stop it?"
"What, was she really that bad that you trying to escape was because of how awful it was, not to make things more convincing?" the Knight asked, when Revan said,

"Enough, Meetra." her voice stern.
"Shit, when did Vrook possess you?" she asked.

"Never. He can't possess people."

"I wouldn't be surprised if he could." Meetra said. "From everything I've heard that guy is scary."

"Oh, he's definitely scary." Revan replied, "He just doesn't know how to possess people. I'm not even sure how if that is possible. There's nothing that I've read that would even indicate it is possible to possess someone. If there is a technique like that, it's long lost."

"Why do you know this?" Alek asked.

"You never know what techniques you're going to need to know in order to survive a battle. Possessing the body of an enemy could be an incredibly useful technique in a battle. Assuming they don't get control of yours."
"What would happen if you killed the body you were possessing?" Selena asked.

"If it were possible there would be two potential outcomes. You could return to your original body, or you could end up dying with the one you've possessed. We don't really know how it works, since as I said, it isn't possible. Or if it is the technique has been lost for an incredibly long time." Revan replied.

"This is unimportant." Veras said, "We've done our jobs, and now we have some time off before the next mission. Take advantage of it. But don't stay up too late. I won't have to tell the Council or your families that you died because you stayed up all night and made an idiot mistake in your exhaustion."
"We'll be reasonable." Revan promised, as they walked through the ship. When people stared at Bastila, Revan glared at them in a way that made them cower away. Bastila sighed, and said,

"Revan, they aren't going to do anything."

"You don't know that." the Knight replied.

"They're Republic soldiers. Not like those slavers."
"Sorry if I'm a bit over protective of you, Bas. I don't want to have you get hurt."
"I know, Rev. But I'll be fine. We're almost at my room anyways."

"Good. Then hopefully people will stop staring."
"They will." Bastila ensured. "Why does it bug you so much?"
"Because they shouldn't be looking at you like that." Revan replied. "You're a minor."

Bastila laughed, and said, "Rev, don't worry about it."
"I've tried. I haven't been able to. It's too refreshing to talk with someone who isn't like Meetra or the Council. I'm worried people will corrupt you. And, no, not dark side corruption. More end up having you be like Meetra and Baldy."
"You think they'll make me want to sleep with anything that is female?" Bastila asked, laughing slightly as they approached the door to her room.
"I'm going to go get some rest." Revan said, "You should probably do the same."
"True." Bastila replied, "But don't you want to take back the part of your robes?"
"I suppose so." Revan replied.

Bastila quickly slipped out of the garment and handed it to Revan before stepping into her room. In the second that Revan had seen Bastila in the slave outfit it had been impossible not to stare. 'Great,' the Jedi thought, 'I'm never going to be able to get that image out of my head.' before walking back to her own room.

-=0=-

Bastila stepped into her quarters and quickly slipped out of the slave outfit and into some of her own clothes. Once she was dressed reasonably, she collapsed on her bed, and thought, 'Why am I so caught up on that kiss? It was just to make so that those people didn't do anything to me. Revan doesn't actually have any feelings towards me like that. But then again, when fighting those people during the Battle of Cathar, she did call me her girl. But, she was so embarrassed by it. It was probably just what Meetra and Alek had been saying messing with her head.

'I mean, why would she have feelings like that for me? There's nothing special about me. I just have Battle Meditation. While she's so gorgeous, so skilled, and so powerful. I don't even hold a candle to her. Why would I appeal to her like that? Assuming it isn't just Meetra, Alek, and Selena jumping to conclusions.

'I'm so confused. I should go talk to someone. But I can't talk to Revan about this. Force! Why does everything have to be so difficult! I need to talk to someone, but I don't have anyone to talk to. Unless... no, she'd laugh me to death if I came to her. Then again... Revan trusts her. I suppose I could give it a try.'

Bastila stood up, and headed out of the room, heading towards Meetra's quarters. With luck, Meetra wouldn't be doing anything inappropriate. The Padawan walked down the halls, feeling much less nervous now that she was wearing a reasonable outfit. She walked silently, as she muttered to herself, "Why is it that Revan and I have quarters right next door, but Meetra's are on the other side of the ship? Is it just so I'll realize what an idiotic idea this is, and turn around?"

Then, as she was walking down the hall, staring at the floor and muttering to herself, she bumped into Meetra.

The Knight moved back a bit, and said, "Whoa, Bastila. Watch where you're going."
"Sorry." The Padawan replied, blushing a deep red. "Uhm, Meetra, could I talk to you in private?"
"Sure, what's it about?"

"Uhm, I'd rather not talk about it where other people could hear." Bastila said.

"Alright." Meetra said, walking down the hall, "My quarters are just down the hall."

"Why are you being so much less lewd?"
"I've got an idea of what you want to talk to me about, and I treat that matter very seriously." Meetra replied, as she opened the door to her room. Inside, Selena was sitting on the bed, drinking some blue fluid.
"Hey, Meetra! Want to go another round?" the Sergeant asked.

"In a bit, Selena." Meetra said with a small smile, "Bastila wants to have a word with me in private. I think it's pretty serious."
"Alright. See you in a few!" Selena said, then as she walked past Meetra whispered in the Knight's ear, "Don't let your jealousy make you push her away from Revan. I don't think either would appreciate it."

"I won't." Meetra replied, sitting down on her bed. Once Selena was out of the room, Meetra asked, "So, is this about Revan?"
"Yes." Bastila said, blushing.

"Selena seemed to think that you'd been dwelling on her since she kissed you in Davik's estate."
"Well... yes." Bastila admitted.

"Hey, relax. I'm not going to judge you for dwelling on Revan. I've spent a lot of time doing the same. But, you're the one she's actually interested in. And, it seems to me that you're interested in her."
Bastila sighed, and said, "I'm so unsure. The Code I've spent my entire life following says that this is wrong. That Jedi shouldn't have these kinds of feelings. Everything I've ever been taught has told me to avoid romantic entanglements no matter the cost. And yet at the same time I feel drawn to Revan. When I'm with her I feel safe. Whenever I think about her I get a warm feeling in my stomach.

"When she kissed me, I had to struggle to pull away, instead of just melting into her arms. It was the best thing I'd ever experienced. And I shouldn't have. Jedi aren't supposed to have these kinds of feelings! Not to mention that I'm a minor and she's an adult!"

"Bastila," Meetra said, "The Council says a lot of things. Not all of them are right. The Jedi aren't supposed to love is one of them that is wrong. Yes, there is danger in love, but a lot more good has come from it than bad. And, as for the age thing, if Revan were thirty it would be a bit more of an issue. She isn't even nineteen yet, and you're seventeen. There's only a little over a year in age difference between you. And, she only kissed you to prevent those slavers from doing far worse.

"Saying the age difference thing is a problem is like saying that once a seventeen year old with a girlfriend who is a bit younger than them can't do any kind of public display of affection because of the age difference. But, once the girl turns eighteen it's fine. At least, that's how I see it.

"Also, not all relationships are just about the physical stuff. The best relationships aren't. I mean, sleeping with Selena's a lot of fun. She's gorgeous, and great in between the sheets. But, if I were looking for something serious with her, it wouldn't be what I'd focus on. If you want a serious relationship, you get to know the person. You learn their personality. Sex is great, but if that's all your relationship is about, it won't last very long.

"And Revan knows that. If you two got together today, she would be overjoyed. But, she wouldn't do anything physical past holding hands because she'd think it's wrong. Because of the age difference. And I know Rev, if you two ever get together, she'll never do anything if it makes you feel uncomfortable. In all honesty, you couldn't have a better person for a girlfriend."
"I know that Rev's great, Meetra." Bastila sighed, "The problem is I'm not sure how I feel about her. I was hoping you'd be able to help me figure it out."
"You've said being with her makes you feel warm and safe. That's a good base of information for me to give you my opinion of what you're feeling for Rev. But, with just that I can't honestly say. With just that it could only be a little crush on someone who's incredibly powerful and done a lot for you. What were you feeling when Revan was going to vent herself out the airlock?"
"I was terrified that I was going to lose her. She's my best friend."
"Did you ever think of the fallout you would experience through the bond?"
"Only for a split second. It seemed secondary or tertiary in importance compared to Revan being gone." Bastila said.

"Alright." Meetra said. "That's good. It's natural to think about how you'd possibly be collateral damage, but being more concerned about the person dying a good sign that it's more than a crush."
"Is that a good thing or a bad thing?"
"Well, part of me says bad because if you didn't have real feelings for her and broker her heart I might have a chance. But, the other part of me thinks it's a good thing because it means that Revan's feelings aren't unrequited. Or at least not entirely." Meetra replied.

"I suppose this is a bit awkward. You helping me figure out what I feel for the person you love."

Meetra laughed, and said, "It's because I love Rev and want her to be happy that I'm doing this. If that wasn't the case, I'd have told you no."
Bastila nervously laughed, and said, "So, what else do you need to know before you can give me a definitive answer?"

"Was Selena right when she teased you about imagining Revan in the slave outfit?"
Bastila blushed, and silently said, "Yes."

Meetra nodded then asked, "How would you feel if Revan told you that she loves you?"
Bastila was silent for a moment thinking, 'How would I feel if Revan said she loves me? Elated. Overjoyed. So relieved that she feels the same way I do. Wait, do I really love her?' Bastila thought, doubt beginning to creep into her mind, then a moment later, she said, "Overjoyed that she feels the same way I do."

"Well, then there's your answer." Meetra said, patting Bastila on the head. "Congrats, kid. You're now officially quicker at realizing what you're feeling than Revan. Which isn't that hard. If what she's feeling is an emotion other than anger she's pretty bad at identifying it."

"Wait, are you saying that Revan admitted to loving me?" Bastila asked.

"If she did, it's her place to tell you, not mine."
"Dammit, Meetra!" Bastila said, "Did Revan tell you she loves me?"
"Easy, Bastila!' Meetra laughed, "You'll learn what she feels towards you in due time. Patience is a virtue."
The Padawan sighed, and said, "You're right. It just would be nice to know how she feels."
"While I can't give you anything definite, I would say that I personally think she's in love with you." Meetra said. "Now get out of my room so I can get laid! Damn kids and their need to talk to other people to figure out their own feelings..."

"When did you become an old farmer?" Bastila asked, walking towards the door.

"When you damn kids started falling in love and making life more difficult for me!" she replied.

"You're only four years older than me!"
"That's more than a sixth of your lifetime." Meetra pointed out.

Bastila nodded, as she left the room, and headed towards her own.

Revan sighed as she closed her eyes. The image of Bastila's lithe body clear in her mind. Try as she might, she couldn't get it out of her head. "Dammit, Bastila. Why couldn't you have just gone into your room, changed, and then given me this?" she asked as she looked at the blue outer robe she was once again wearing.

'Maybe she was teasing me. Nah, she doesn't know how. And, she doesn't share my feelings. She's just young. And smart. And stronger than she realizes. And beautifully innocent. And just plain beautiful.' The image of Bastila nearly naked returning with a vengeance as that thought ran through Revan's mind, 'No!' Revan thought to herself, 'Quit being a lecher like Meetra. Just because you love Bastila doesn't mean you can fantasize about her, Revan. She's not interested in you. She just sees you as a friend. But then again, she didn't seem too upset by the kiss. That was just because it was only to prevent those bastards from laying a finger on her.'

The thought of what Davik had planned to do to Bastila sent Revan's blood boiling, and she had to assume a meditative stance to calm herself. Then, she heard someone knock on the door. "Who is it?" she asked.

"Alek."

"Come on in." Revan replied.

He stepped into the room, and asked, "Revan, I've got a question for you."
"What?"
He sighed, and said, "What do you think my chances are with Meetra?"
"Nonexistent. She doesn't find guys appealing."

He sighed, and said, "What about Jade?"
"I think she goes both ways." Revan admitted, "But she definitely seems very interested in Meetra right now. Why are you asking me this stuff? Don't you have something better to do?"
"Well yeah." he said, "I was just using that to start the conversation."
"What is it?" Revan asked, curiosity beginning to work its way into her voice.

"Well, as you know I said what my last name was earlier."
"Yeah, some really fucking long word." Revan replied. "Squinquartacos or something."
"Squinquargesimus." Alek corrected.

"That." Revan said. "What about it?"
"Well... could you not tell anyone?"
"I didn't plan to. I don't want to kill them with laughter."
Alek sighed, and said, "Revan, could you treat this seriously?"
"Alright. What's the problem?"
"Squinquargesimus wasn't my last name when I was born. It was my hometown from when I was young. But, a group of mandalorians raided my homeworld. I was lucky enough to avoid getting killed or captured. Every now and then on Dantooine I heard rumors that my parents may have also survived the attack. However, recently I got a solid return on individuals of their description. On Taris."
"You want me to arrange free time for you to go and meet with them?"
He lowered his head, and said, "I was more hoping you and the others would be willing to go with me. In case... the worst comes to pass."
"What's this worst you're thinking of?" Revan asked, suspicion clear in her voice.

"Well they're in the Lower City. There are a lot of gangs down there. Some of them, like the Hidden Beks, won't attack on sight. But, others like the Black Vulkars will. In case they've started running with the Vulkars I'd like to have you guys around. I don't think I'd be able to kill my own parents." he said, looking embarrassed.

Revan nodded, and said, "We can do that. But, Alek, if this is a trap you're leading us into, there will be serious consequences. If Bastila gets injured because of this trap, the consequences will be horrifying. Are we clear?"
"Yeah." he said. "But why so suspicious?"
"I've been tricked before." Revan said, a dark look in her eyes.

"What happened?" Alek asked.

"I don't want to talk about it." Revan growled. "Is that all you wanted to talk about?"
"Yeah." he said.

"Then can you go? I need time to think."

"About Bastila's legs." he said, laughing slightly.

Revan shook the image of Bastila's long exposed legs from her mind, and said, "No. Now get out."

"Okay." he said, leaving the room as Revan lay down on her bed, and closed her eyes. Hoping to escape the images of a nearly naked Bastila in sleep.

A/N: Thanks for reading the latest chapter. Wow, this one turned out longer than I expected. And, to all of you readers, that scene where Revan struck Davik was very difficult for me to write. I mean, it's in character for her. If you try to hurt her girl, she'll make you regret it. But, having her cut off that part of the male body was difficult to write. As Alek said, "That was massively uncool."

Oh, and I hope you guys are liking the story so far. We're 25 chapters in, and haven't even reached Revan defying the Council. When I started this out, I did not realize it would have sooooo much buildup to that. But, I think it makes a better story as we get to know the characters more.

I also really hope you liked both the bit where Bastila talks to Meetra and realizes that she loves Revan(yay! Now she just has to become an adult and then they need to admit to each other what they're feeling and the pairing promised long ago will be actually together.) and the bit with Alek. And, a slight confession, the Alek bit was included because I realized that I haven't really given him much character. So, working on improving that, even though it will make me feel guilty when I make him go evil. Sigh, it's so much easier to hate the villain when they're a non-entity beyond their evil. (also, in-game I fucking hated Malak. You hurt Bastila, you're fucking dead in my Revans' books.)

Lastly, please review. I would love to hear what you think of the story and characters so far. Every last review is greatly appreciated.
