(Homecoming – Thomas Bergersen) Sora and Kairi were floating in the lanes between, holding hands even though they were both unconscious. The two were both injured, the multiple dents and damage that their armor sustained proved that, but somehow they managed to hold on, with some assistance.

After several more moments of the floating in the lands, a soft hand came down and touched her hand down on Sora's forehead, causing him to moan in a low tone. Cosmos smiled at his and Kairi's will to live and quietly unsummoned their armor for them. Then, with a single touch of her hand on their skin, she healed every wound they had gained in the battle, every scar they had received on this journey. Even Kairi, who thought the scar Xehanort had given her on the back of her neck when she was tortured by him would be on her body forever, vanished by the goddess of harmony.

"You are safe now," she whispered, smiling down at the two of them, "You deserve to go back home."

Cosmos then snapped her fingers, which surrounded the two in a bright light that was ready to send them back to their world, but before she sent them off, she said the simple words:

"Thank you."

And with that, Cosmos sent them back to where they came from.

He could feel the wind gushing past him and the scent of sand beaches filled his noise, but he was still confused about where he was.

Sora had not opened his eyes just yet, but he could tell that he was falling, almost like he was in the Station Awakening, but faster. Even though his eyes were closed, he could see that the area he was in was bright, which was strange to see since he had been in the dark for such a long time. He wanted to open his eyes, but he wanted to keep them closed, since the feeling off falling felt so nostalgic to him.

After several more moments, Sora finally decided to open his eyes, and he saw that he was indeed falling down head first. The first thing he saw was Kairi, who was falling down next to him with the blue sky serving as a backdrop to the scenery. The blue sky seemed almost familiar to him, and made him feel at home again, it made him happy. But when the keyblader looked down, he noticed too late that the two were falling into a large body of water.

When the two hit the water, they finally felt fully awake again, Sora being the first to come to his full senses. He swam up to the rim of the water and gasped for air, taking in heavy breaths from the sudden impact of the water. Shaking his head quickly from side to side to get the water out of his hair, he looked around, seeing nothing but water surrounding him. What had happened? And even more important, where was Kairi?

After looking around for a few more moments, Sora finally spotted Kairi as she rose from the water not too far away from him. Calling out her name, Sora began to swim towards her quickly, making sure that she was alright. As he swam to her, he noticed how the water quickly began to shallow as he continued to swim. Once he made it to the princess, the water's rim was resting at his knees, and he only hoped that it meant land was nearby.

"Sora!" Kairi yelled even though her boyfriend was closer to her now. When they were in arm's length of each other, Sora pulled Kairi into a hug, letting the redhead rest her head on his shoulder. He closed his eyes as they embraced; only picturing his beloved in his head and how beautiful she looked. This was real, they were alive, but where were they?

"Hey! Get a room you two!"

The sudden yell echoed in the two keyblade bearer's ears, the familiar voice banging on the inside of their eardrums. This sound canceled the two's embrace as they turned their heads in the direction of the yell. The two gasped as they saw the shining beaches, the green palm trees with the star shaped fruits, the shallow blue waters. It was Destiny Islands, they were home.

However, it was not the beaches or the trees or the ocean that made them realize they were home, it was the crowd of people that somehow managed to all stand on the beach, cheering and waving to them. The first one in their sight was Riku, who clearly was the one that yelled to them, with his hands on his hips as Xion stood next to him smiling like the happiest child. On the other side of them was Roxas and Namine, then Lea, then Aqua, Terra, and Ven, and surrounding them was the others that aided them in this battle, each of them smiling ear to ear.

Sora and Kairi gaped that the scene that played out before them, the happy ending that they thought would never come to this war. "We're home," Sora smiled, turning his head to look down at Kairi as she looked up at him, her blue eyes beaming.

"We won…" She laughed, smiling back at Sora as he began to laugh as well.

"We're home!" Without warning, Sora picked up Kairi and spun her around, the two laughing together as the waves caused splashes to come up and hit them. But they did not care, the war was over, they won. Once Sora stopped spinning her, he embraced her in a kiss, she kissing him back so passionately that even the blowing wind and waves stopped to let them kiss each other.

At the sight, the crowd on the beach mostly silenced, all except for Rikku who continued to cheer. "Woo! Alright, you go guys!" She yelled. At this moment, the young woman was so happy she felt that she could do anything and she would be completely overjoyed. This is when she looked over next to her, where Ventus stood standing on the beach as he looked out at Sora and Kairi. And the moment later, out of pure joy that the battle was over, Rikku pulled Ven close to her and kissed him on the lips quickly before going back to cheering.

This event made Ventus freeze, literally freeze in his place. However, as soon as Rikku turned around, Ven's eyes rolled into the back of his head and he fainted, treating the beach's soft sand like a pillow. Terra only cracked up at the scene, placing his hand on his chest in amusement.

"I wouldn't be laughing at him like that." And suddenly, Aqua pulled Terra into a kiss, which caught the brown haired man off guard, but he kissed her back gladly.

From the distance, Master Eraqus laughed to himself as he turned to face Lea, who was standing next to him. "Guess I can't keep them young forever huh?" He asked.

"I'll say—" But before Lea could continue, Elena glomped him, kissing him the moment she knew that he was holding on to her so that she would not fall. Eraqus raised his eyes at this, snickering to himself slightly as he carefully moved out of the way, trying to give the groups a moment of privacy.

Roxas and Namine looked over at Lea and smiled, giggling at their friend's love before the two looked at each other, eyes meeting. They both smiled before Roxas placed his hand around Namine's shoulder, leaning in and kissing the top of her head before the two looked back out to sea that their former somebodies, still passionately kissing without a care in the world. "Hard to believe that they are who we originate from," Roxas commented.

Namine laughed. "They might be the reason we exist, but we are our own people now," she said smiling, "But you know, we can still learn from them."

Before Roxas could even ask what she meant by that, Namine kissed him, which Roxas instantly responded to, placing his hand behind her head as they continued to kiss.

And finally, back at the wave line of the beach, Xion and Riku stood, smiling as they looked out at their friends. "So, how do you think they'll react when we tell them we are back together?" She asked him.

Riku laughed as he looked down at her. "Something tells me it won't surprise them," Riku replied.

"Well, if it's not going to surprise them then we might as well get over it," she replied. Then, without even giving time to prepare for it, Xion stood on the tip of her toes and pulled Riku down to her level, since he was still taller than her, and kissed him as well. He laughed in between their breaths as they continued to kiss, before they both stopped, blushing at what they had just done.

At this point, Sora and Kairi had finally finished kissing and looked back out at the beach with all of their friends standing on it. Then, taking her hand in his, Sora and Kairi both ran towards it, happy to rejoin their friends.

And finally, they had returned home.

Eh, not sure how I feel about this chapter. It was WAY to short in my opinion, but there was really nothing else to put in there.

But yah know what? The epilogue is more like the last 'official' chapter then this is. So don't be all like 'this was a horrible last chapter baaaaa' cause the next chapter is really the end. So look forward to that instead! THE HYPE IS REAL!

And yes, I know there was a lot of kissing going on in this chapter. However, it was more like symbolism, like each new kiss was the sign of a new beginning. I wanted to put that in there, but there was really no place I could put it where it wouldn't sound weird, so I just explained it here.

There is a poll up on my profile if you don't mind voting on it!

Btw, anyone hear of Attack on Titan? Well I tried watching the anime and I. Just. Can't. It was sooooo gory! I loved the theme song though!

Alright, so I am off to try and finish the LAST chapter! So please R&R and look out for it!
