Kamek

Walking down the main hallway in Bowser's Castle, holding a spoon filled to the top with a strange crimson liquid that happened to be medicine, was Kamek the Magikoopa and King Bowser's advisor.

At the end of the hallway, there was a large reddish-brown double door, covered in golden spikes, except for the two handles. Kamek grasped one of the handles and pushed the large door open, walking into the room.

The room was bare, cold and stony like the rest of the castle, though at least this room had a window. There was a huge bed in the centre of the room, in which Bowser was sleeping. There were two wooden bedside tables on either side of the bed—one had a glass of water on it, and the other had a lamp.

He walked up to Bowser's bed. Being careful not to drop the spoon, Kamek leaned over Bowser, and shook him lightly.

"Your Sleepiness?"

Bowser slowly opened his eyes. He was obviously very tired. He had circles under his bloodshot eyes, and bruises and burn marks all over his body.

"K-Kamek?" the Koopa King stuttered weakly.

Kamek replied by holding up the spoon, saying, "Say 'Ahhh'!"

Bowser grunted and opened his mouth, as Kamek proceeded to feed him the medicine. Bowser coughed loudly.

"That Mario…" Bowser growled. "I will get him one day, and that will be the day when I take over this kingdom once and for all..."

Kamek grinned. "That's the spirit, Your Sickliness. Now, I have some news –"

"Good news or bad news?" interrupted Bowser.

Kamek's smile faded. "Well, uh, that is to say –"

"Do you never have any good news?!" Bowser roared.

Kamek jumped back. "Y-Yes, Your Angriness. We do, just not today..."

Bowser fumed. "Tell me what the news is anyway."

"Well, you see –" Kamek started, but Bowser cut him off with a loud roar.

"Why don't you skip the intro and get on with it!"

"Y-Yes, Your Impatientness. Uhm...right. So, this alien named Tatanga the Mysterious Spaceman –"

"Oh, great," Bowser muttered. "Aliens. Just what we need".

"– has barged into Peach's Castle, thinking it was the castle in Sarasaland. Meaning to kidnap Daisy, he accidentally kidnapped Princess Peach instead –"

"Whaaat?!"

"– or so I heard from a couple of Koopatrols."

Bowser was already getting out of bed. "Nobody kidnaps Princess Peach without my permission! Only I do that."

"Your Rashness, I do happen to know where he's headed, though," said Kamek.

Kamek watched as Bowser grabbed the door handle and turned to face him. "Perfect. You're coming, then, to show the way. Bring Junior. That stupid alien will pay."

"Yes, Your Mercilessness. Of course."

Bowser Junior

Ludwig von Koopa's classical compositions clashing with Morton Koopa Junior's hard rock madness did not sound good to Bowser Junior, especially with Lemmy Koopa and Iggy Koopa screaming and giggling as if they were girls in the background, as they chased each other around the room.

The only actual girl, Wendy O. Koopa, was not present—she was off doing something important with Roy and Larry, or so Junior was told by his father, though he could hardly guess what they could possibly be doing that could be important in any way.

Bowser Junior wished that he could do something important for once. His friends (or minions) always got something to do each week, and the only thing Junior had done was kidnap Peach, back on Delphino Plaza once, and twice more with the help of the Koopalings here in the Mushroom Kingdom.

Knock, knock!

Bowser Junior jumped. He was the only one that had noticed the noise, but he didn't have a clue what it could have been.

Knock, knock!

There it was again, only this time, Junior realised that it was someone knocking on the door. He walked over to it and opened it to see Kamek, his teacher (or babysitter) standing there.

"Junior," he said, "you must follow me. Your father is going to kidnap Princess Peach again, because a strange alien named Tatanga had kidnapped her."

Aliens? Bowser Junior thought. This could be interesting.

"I'm in!" exclaimed Junior enthusiastically.

"Good, good," sighed Kamek, pointlessly adjusting his glasses. "You know the way to the Koopa Cruiser, right?"

"The Koopa Cruiser?" asked Junior. "Yeah, I know."

"Good. Now, be on your way."

"Okay."

Kamek started down the hallway and was gone before long. Junior's heart was pounding. A brand-new adventure! Awesome!

Junior ran down the hallway in the opposite direction of Kamek, in the direction of the Koopa Cruiser. He ran up several flights of stairs. He was just running up the sixth flight when he realised he had run all the way, and that he needed to stop for a breather. He did this a few times, before finally reaching the Koopa Kruiser

He'd never actually seen the Koopa Cruiser before, but he'd been told he had a special room reserved for him, and he'd also been told how to get to it. He boarded, and walked in the direction he had been taught until he reached a door that said Prince Bowser Jr. on it. He opened the door, and walked in.

His room had all the stuff he liked in it. There were toys scattered all over the floor, the TV was on, and there was a nice comfy chair in the centre of the room. He sat in the chair, and waited.

And waited.

And waited.

Nothing happened.

He waited some more. Junior was impatient, and sick of waiting. He stood up, and as about to walk out of the room, when the intercoms boomed with the sound of Bowser's voice.

Attention, all passengers! This is your King, Bowser speaking. The Koopa Cruiser will be taking off on our journey to Yoshi's Island in approximately five minutes, so stay seated! I mean that!

Yoshi's Island? thought Junior. Is that where the alien is? Bowser Junior checked his watch. Five minutes... He couldn't wait that long. Surely, he could at least go take a quick look at the Koopas taking passport photos, maybe distract them enough so that they have ridiculous faces. They were, after all, going to Yoshi's Island, so there would be Koopas taking passport photos.

Junior got out of his seat, and left his room. He went to the room where the passport photos were normally taken, and saw...no-one. He wondered around, into the minion cabins, into the storage rooms, everywhere...and still, saw no-one.

"Where is everyone?" shrieked Bowser Junior out loud. Then, the ship started to take off and Junior was sent flying across the room.

He grabbed a handrail. The ship jerked. Junior held fast, making his way slowly and carefully back to his own room. He strapped himself into his seat, making a mental note never to disobey the intercom again as the Koopa Cruiser took to the skies, heading in the direction of Yoshi's Island.
