A/N: I am super sorry this took so long people, to be honest I managed to loose a lot of inspiration toward this fic but, I simply can't leave it unfinished since there is only one...two more chapters tops. I still would like to thank everyone for the mass of support. Especially those of you still reading at this time an I promise that every one of my Fics will be finished.

Operation Star Fox...

The night seemed to slink on, minutes seemed like hours; for a pink feline, however nothing seemed to last long enough. They gave her and the others no blankets or means in which to stay warm, so now the only warmth provided to her was from the strong bodied coyote whose arms were still wrapped about her, holding her onto the Murphy's bed they lay on. The feline looked about before gathering up her discarded clothing, quickly dressing herself before returning to his side…

"Reiko…" She half whispered shaking him, "…hey something's wrong."

Clearly in his own dreamland the coyote rolled over, "Don't worry…" He paused taking a deep breath, "…I've done this before."

Katt rolled her eyes chuckling to herself, as she had a fair idea what he was dreaming about. With a deep sigh, she ran a paw over his arm before suddenly pulling him off the bed causing him to hit the floor, "HOLY SHIT! We're under attack!" He yelled snapping to attention before realizing that Katt was standing there chuckling to herself, Reiko looked about for a moment, "what the hell?"

Katt helped him up, "Listen…" She said pausing as she held up a finger, "…you hear that?"

Reiko cut his eyes from one end of the room to the other before looking back to her, "I don't hear…" He paused as her point caught up to him, "…anything."

"Exactly, no orders being shouted, no footsteps, no ships taking off…" She replied, "…just dead silence."

Reiko cocked his head at the door for a moment while he gathered his clothes slowly putting them on as he approached the door, "You think that's weird?" He said pushing the door causing it to swing effortlessly open, "Wanna explain that?"

Katt followed Reiko's finger only to find that he was pointing to the guard that had brought them their last meal a time ago. His body was splayed in a seated position against the far wall, which only consisted of his legs up to his waist, while the rest of him laid in a scattered heap around his mangled torso, hanging his innards around the mess of gore and death. Katt covered her mouth and turned to face Reiko…

"What the fuck?" She asked, "I've never seen anything like this before."

Reiko picked up the guard's weapons, "Well, whoever did it is clearly not after us…" He said, "…or we'd look just like this poor mother fucker," He finished passing her the keys to the cells, "here, get the others up and let's get the fuck outta here. Hopefully Kursed knows a little more about this situation than we do."

Kursed stopped herself as she walked out into the open courtyard of the military building, there was something wrong. There were no soldiers, no ships in the sky, there was no sound. On Cerinia, sound was life, and where there was no sound or thought there could be no life. The vixen slowly reached to her back producing the long golden shaft from who's tip a long crescent shaped blade projected; her ears suddenly stiffened and the Kursed rushed behind a large pile of crates that were still to be loaded into the building. As she peeked around the crate's corner a stray animal rushed across the field stopping for a moment before looking back over his shoulder…

"This way!" He yelled rushing off into the distance vanishing without a trace.

The vixen looked about for a moment before ducking behind a mess of cargo crates where she was well out of the view of anyone that might see her. As she did so she set down her weapon a held her head in her hands…

"N-no not this…." She grimaced in a bit of pain, "…not now."

Suddenly the vixen looked forward as a dark blue washed over her eyes; in an instant, the entire scenery changed, explosions and gunfire sounded all around her however this was something that, as a child, she'd grown used to. Foresight, something she'd been cursed with since she was a young kit; her visions were often overlooked for years but, there was no denying that this was something she would happen to this place…and what struck her most of all was the that with everything building up as it was this could all come to fruition sometime very soon. She looked about but, none of the animals seemed very familiar; soldiers fell all around her as she walked out into the open hail of gunfire and heavy artillery, nothing in the vision could harm her and she was aware of the fact. She finally stepped out into the center of the courtyard where she watched a familiar looking chestnut furred vulpine rush into the building before she followed the length of the tower. Hovering high above the tower was a massive ship, many times larger than the standard battleships used by even the Cornerian navy, suddenly something gripped her shoulder turning her about causing her to lash out with her fist, toppling a familiar grey furred wolf onto his tail, where he sat rubbing his jaw…

"Well, hello to you too…" Wolf said sarcastically, "…what the hell was all that about? You were walking through the courtyard looking around like someone lost in a warzone."

The vixen picked up her weapon and sighed, "This entire city is about to become a war zone."

Wolf looked around for a moment, "Mind telling me what the hell you're talking about…" He asked standing up, "…or telling why you can punch so fucking hard?"

Kursed wiped a bit of sweat from her forehead as she collapsed her weapon placing it in its holster on her thigh, "Okay listen…there is this saying on Cerinia about considering the future and how dangerous it can be. I can sometimes see things before they happen."

Wolf lifted an eyebrow at her, "Sometimes?"

Kursed nodded before finding a place to sit down for a moment, "Yes…sometimes. I can't control it; it just comes and goes. Just a moment ago, I saw this place littered with bodies, people falling, Fox running into that building and some massive ship just resting over the tower."

Wolf thought for a moment, "How massive?"

"Least three maybe four times the size of a Cornerian Battleship…"

The lupine whistled, "Class of ship isn't made around Lylat, that's an Invader. Meant to carry an entire army all at once."

Kursed looked to the older wolf, "That could be something pretty bad."

"Yeah…" Wolf scoffed, "…how often are these visions right?"

The white vixen simple gave him an unsettled look, "Listen…" Wolf started, "…if it's what you need to hear none this bullshit lately is your fault. I mean there are a lot of things that would be different if Fox had never found you but, I think the positives of that far outweigh the negatives."

Kursed looked to him with a questioning look, "What do you mean?"

Wolf sighed, "Well believe it or not, Fox and I have had a few discussions since he's been locked up here," He said looking around as he noticed the very light snowfall, "apparently he was looking forward to getting to know you. You know he told me that he fell in love with you the first time he saw you?" As she looked at him with a disbelieving expression the old lupine nodded.

The vixen looked at the snow speckled ground, "That's why he was so uncomfortable around me all the time…isn't it?"

"Falco had a few bad things to say about Fox's past when it comes to females," Wolf replied, "something about Fara Phoenix."

Kursed gave Wolf a confused look, "The CEO of Arspace Dynamics? What's she got to do with Fox?"

"They were pretty serious according to Falco," Wolf replied, "real lovey dovey couple back when Fox was still attending the Academy here. Sounds like you've met her before."

"Only twice," Kursed pointed out, "she had some trouble with some bandits raiding the shipments that she was sending to her distributers, and after I came back to collect my money she insisted that I have lunch with her. She was actually very nice."

Wolf thought for a moment, "Well … putting all this aside," He said, "does Fox know about our plan now?"

The vixen nodded, "He thinks we're both out of our minds…"

Wolf laughed, "That's good…"
Kursed looked a bit confused, "Why's that?"

"Cuz so do I..." Wolf replied looking to her.

"That makes three of us then." Kursed chuckled, "you know your part in this."

Wolf nodded, "Yeah it's already started…" He said, "…the merc that talked to me said she already had set everything up and she should be talking with Katt and the others right now. I should get back to my post or someone is going to think that something is up."

Jamie had unfortunately been one of the last to wake up as her body seemed to have a horrible reaction to sedatives of any kind. She awoke to find a familiar sight standing outside their cells in a small hallway, where an average height Lynx stood; she had light red fur, and was covered in black stripes. The feline was a saving grace in the vixen's eyes, they'd not seen each other in years, though it seemed that the Lynx hardly gave any notice now. Instead of paying any direct mind to Jamie, she made her way from cell to cell waking the others before returning to the center of the room where she stood waiting for their attention…

"Wow is everyone awake?" Reiko called.

Creed rolled his neck causing it to pop, "Never got to sleep, you and Katt were making too much noise."

The area went quiet until a light voice echoed into the hall, "Sorry…everyone."

Jamie sighed, "Don't be, we all know your reasons…hell I'd have probably done the same thing."

The Lynx in the hall nodded, "Andrew has claimed that your executions will all be by beheading…" She sighed, "for no other reason than to show everyone what will happen should he be stood against again. We have a small surprise for him, but, one of you…" She said pulling out a small gun, "…is going to have to die."

"What do you mean?" Katt shouted.

"I mean that one of you is going to have to help with this and for that to happen someone is going to have to trust me and play along."

Jamie studied the weapon and sighed, "You can trust her…she isn't playing anyone for a fool. Trust me she knows what she's doing."

The Lynx finally stopped at Katt and Reiko's cell, "You…" She said pointing to the Coyote, "…you're the only one here tall enough," She said firing a small dart into the Coyote's chest, "I'll fill you in once you come around."

Katt caught Reiko as his body went limp, "What did you do to him?"

Samara sighed, "He is in a sedated coma…the sedative slows the heart rate to the point that monitors will not pick it up. Any test given to him will pass him off as deceased."

One Hour Later…

Andrew sat by watching the sapphire furred image of his recent obsessions as she went about doing this and that, clearly readying herself for the next day. As he watched the small screen Wolf O'Donnell stepped into the room with a single soldier at his side. This young light brown furred fox was covered in blood that had ebbed from the open gunshot in his shoulder that had recently been bandaged. At first Andrew seemed to pay no mind until Wolf coughed into his fist. Andrew's eyes instantly went to the young soldier whom still seemed to be a bit groggy…

"I found this one unconscious…" Wolf pointed out, "…somehow Akuba managed to get loose, and ended up being shot by this soldier. The medics proclaimed Reiko dead on the scene. Apparently, this soldier's shot was on the mark while Reiko's came up short."

"Was the situation handled?" Andrew asked.

Wolf nodded, "Yes, the one he was called up with was too panicked to run after seeing him killed. Apparently, they were lovers."

Andrew sighed shaking his head, "So sad…" He replied, "…if that is the case make certain that she is the second to meet the axe…mustn't keep the lovers apart."

Wolf sighed, "You have a heart of gold sir," He said, "also, this may be a bad time, but, the…" He cleared his throat, "object of your…obsession. Asked me to tell you that she wants to stand by and watch the executions herself. She has suspicions that someone may attempt something stupid, she wants to make certain that she's fully capable of assisting the guards."

Andrew thought for a moment scratching his chin, "That is a good angle," He admitted, "with her standing next to the executioner, nobody would dare try on saving these fools…but, inform her that my own man will take the axe. This young soldier here…" The ape said pointing to the injured soldier.

"S…sir," The young fox said lowering his head, "I-I'm afraid I can't…the bullet tore the tendons in my shoulder…I can't even lift my rifle anymore."

Andrew sighed, "Very well, then you are relieved for the time being…" He said, "…is everything ready?"

"Yes," Wolf replied, "I saw to that much personally."

Andrew sighed, "Good…then get the men and have them escort McCloud out to the stage along with his little friends, it's time we made everyone see that there is no point fighting it. That life in my Empire, requires nothing but faithful consent."

Wolf allowed the young fox to rush off, after all the soldier himself would only make things easier. An injured soldier would be sent home to recuperate, leaving one less in Andrew's numbers…plus there was no point in the young animal losing his life for something he had no control over. As he walked out of the building he looked around to make certain nobody was watching him…

"You there?" He asked with his hand over his ear.

"Yeah," Kursed's voice replied, "let's get this over with."

For Kursed it felt like ages had gone by since she found herself standing there. Andrew certainly wanted everything to be perfect for such an occasion. It was obvious that he wanted the situation to be as spiritually damaging as possible; as soon as there was no longer such a thing as hope in the lylat system, he would truly have won where his infamous uncle had failed. From the courtyard, the sapphire vixen could easily pick out several sentries meant to keep the execution from being interrupted. Though when she'd first met him, Andrew had come off as self-centered, and a bit dense. Unfortunately to the alternative, he proved to be dense...but, incredibly well thought out. Unfortunately for him however, Wolf's plan had no reservations for outside interferences, after all, what was going to happen once the citizens all heard that Fox was not only alive, but, in control of the situation?

The plan was already well underway by the time she found herself standing at the clueless ape's side her mind had already gone over a thousand different scenarios on how the whole thing could play out. However, there was something she was certain of in absolution; it was going to end one way or another, and she was NOT going to watch Fox die for a second time. It felt like months went by as she stood by, even longer before all the civilians seemed to have shown up, the uprising as the familiar chestnut furred, hooded body was slowly escorted down the runway toward the platform on which Andrew sat in his extravagantly overindulged seat was almost deafening for a moment. However, it all seemed to go deathly silent as the two guards pushed the blindfolded Fox to his knees in front of the block he was then lowered into position.

Kursed took her time in making her way toward the fox, he only fought against the block until one of the two soldiers stepped on his back holding him in place. The sheer volume of horrible thoughts rushing into her head from the crowd caused the vixen to physically cringe. However, if they had the ability to read the thoughts that she was currently reading there would have been none of that. For the longest time, she simply stood at the front of the kneeling animal's body waiting for the word.

"Executioner, you may proceed," Andrew called out, "rid my world of that filth, so that we can move on to the next."

The vixen visibly smiled as a sharp twist of the polearm she carried robbed the body of its head. Sending the still hooded lump rolling into the crowd. The gasps and screams were once again deafening, at least until the first real words exploded from the crowd...

"Who the hell is this!?" A random individual called as the hood was removed to reveal a much too young, darker haired fox's face.

Andrew was all too late in his own reaction to the situation as he felt his chair veer forward dumping him onto the platform. The boots that lay before his eyes made him almost fearful to look up; and as he did so the hauntingly green eyes of Fox McCloud bore down on him like a specter from beyond the grave. The combat knife that met the wooden platform before him caused him to reel back in fear only to watch McCloud strip the jacket from his now bare chest...

"Nobody's going to do it for you this time Andrew," He stated in a slightly weakened voice, "it's time you stopped hiding and showed these people the piece of shit that you really are. Your only options right now are to die with dignity...or take the scythe. I'm sure by now Krystal wouldn't mind. After all you've done to her...I wouldn't mind standing back and watching her skin you alive."

The ape's eyes darted back to the blue vixen, how he hadn't noticed it before was beyond him. He could only laugh at his own stupidity, "I can't believe I couldn't see it," He lightly clapped his hands together, "amazingly convincing performance; that striptease for the cameras was..." He smiled evilly, "...quite entertaining."

The familiar sight of James McCloud's black knife was enough to tell Andrew that time for talk was long over, "Fortunately for you, they all know this is my fight," Fox sighed, "if you want this System so badly, you're gonna have to take it by force...and the only way you're doing that no wis by taking that knife, and going through me," He looked to the others, "Wolf, Krystal...if I die, you let him go. Understand?"

O'Donnell finally threw his own disguising helmet aside, "I understand pup."

Krystal lowered her head, causing her weapon to collapse to its more portable size, "It that's what you really want Fox."

Fox nodded, "It is...you two go help the others. No telling what kind of trouble there in. You all need to keep this jackhole's soldiers off my back. This won't be much of a fight...so I should be there with you in just a few minutes."

Though a short time of thinking went into his finally picking up the knife, Andrew finally stood up. Surprisingly flipping the weapon through the air and spinning it expertly between each of his fingers, "Was there some part of that feeble little brain of yours that made you think that I wouldn't be prepared to fight for what I wanted?" He chuckled, "Leon taught me everything the Vipers ever taught him."

Fox simply took stance, "Then you'd best pray he was a better teacher than my father was."

Reiko rushed through the halls going from one cell to another; something wasn't right. Wolf had explained which cell she was being moved to but, for some reason no matter which cell it was he moved to, she simply was nowhere to be found. As he continued through the halls however, something caught the coyote's attention. The familiar scent of blood that dotted the floor. Kneeling, Reiko dipped a claw into the crimson fluid and brought it to his nose; as the smell registered his eyes doubled in size, his senses instantly stood on end...and he rushed through the halls much faster than before...

"Katt!"

His shouting called attention to a small group of armed soldiers whom filled the hall far ahead of him, however, the rapid shots from a sidearm produced from beneath his coat laid waste to most of them, before the only one left standing hit the floor with the blade of a kukuri blade lodged in the socket of his left eye. This time as her name echoed through the halls, a familiar but, feint call for help rang back. It was weak but, the heightened senses of a sniper whose senses were at full attention caused him to shoot down the halls bearing left as he tore the blade from the dead soldier's eye. Discarding the stolen firearm, his body collided with what was once a locked door. The pink feline that lay sprawled out across the table was beaten, and from the looks of her body, she'd been cut several times...

"Not quite the one Panther was hoping for," The familiar voice called Reiko's attention to the black cat standing a short distance toward the other end of the room, "this one's no fun really."

Reiko growled angrily, "I though Jamie finished your worthless ass off."

"Panther would have been better off..." He replied in a furious tone, "...once Panther finishes with you...Panther will find that bitch and make her suffer."

Reiko drew his dual kukris, "You're not leaving this room alive so long as you've laid a single hand on Katt..." He replied, "...cuz I'm about to tear you apart."

Reiko rushed across the room, however a hail of gunfire from the cowardly feline tore at his clothing. Still rushing forward however, even after a bullet bit into his thigh and his abdomen; the coyote launched both curved blades which tore through the air. Panther cried out in pain as he felt the razor-sharp blades slam into his shoulders causing him to drop his own weapons. In mid-run Reiko took hold of the blades' handles before flipping over Caruso; the blades following the flipping motion as he landed, cutting perfectly through both cat's shoulders, severing his arms in one swift motion. The final spin of Reiko's body, which brought him to face the cat's kneeling body, tore the left-handed blade through the cat's neck. Still concerned for Katt, however, he made his way to the injured female before cutting away the ropes that held her in place. Freed from her bindings Katt quickly lurched out cradling the coyote as he started to fall...

"Reiko..." She sighed, "...you didn't have to do that."

To her surprise his hand found its way to her bare breast, "Course I did," He chuckled, "tits like these are pretty hard to come by...he didn't...did he?"

Katt shook her head, "He couldn't … Jamie cut it off back on that base.; it was how she got him to talk."

"You won't get off so lucky with me..."

Katt turned her attention to where Falco now stood at the door, "You're gonna be alright Reiko..."

The coyote nodded, "Yeah...his aim sucked ass..." He replied, "...most of the bleeding is pretty minimal...but, I'm gonna black out soon...so try not to worry too much," He said glaring at Falco, "you can take this son of a bitch..."

Katt simply lay the now unconscious canine back on the floor, taking the moment to remove his hand from her chest, before standing and taking a familiar stance. Clothing was no longer an issue in this matter, Falco had perverted everything she had held dear and now he was going to pay for it. Whether due to the distracting nature of her bare body, or some other unknown reasoning. Falco found himself incapable of following her first stride across the short distance between them, though the sting he felt in the right side of his face was clearly annotated by the blood that dripped from Katt's claws as she lunged back away from him. James had always insisted that she use the weapons her feline heritages had gifted her with, it was a lesson that she was certain Falco would regret by the time it was all over...
