Slight time jump Shadow has been at the Autobot base for three days and is starting to get settled down.

Shadow Followed Sunstreaker into a large divided room. Half of the room was bare, save for a wall full of weaponry. The other half was littered with a combination of obstacles and barricades.

"We'll start with my favorite, close range combat, no guns" said Sunstreaker as he moved towards the wall of weapons. Extending his blades from their subspace sheaths he mentioned to the wall, "Take your pick, Choose wisely".

Shadows optics glided over weapons quickly appraising them in her processor. A large broadsword, "To bulky", a huge mace "wayyyy to bulky", each weapon was met with the same scrutiny. Near the end of the rack a gleam of metal caught her eye. Two long battle knifes rested on their pegs. Tight sheaths left little to the imagination, the graceful curves of the blade promised a smooth swing and the well wrapped hilts beckoned to her servos. Shadow pulled one off of the wall and drew it from its sheath. The metal was light in color, almost a white, with darker silver symbols running down the ridge. The tang was housed in a metallic material that greatly resembled bleached bone, a sharp talon of the same metal of the blade adorned the hilt. The two knifes where identical and where exactly the right size for her femme frame. Shadow drew the other blade from its sheath and quickly gave each blade some light swings in the air, testing and verifying that the balance was perfect.

She moved towards the ring where Sunstreaker waited as patiently as Sunstreaker could manage. Whirling quickly she slashed towards him, nearly catching him off guard. He countered quickly, matching move stroke for stroke. Blades threw sparks as the screech of metal filled the room. Shadows thrusts and parry's a fluid dance of brutal precision. Faster and faster she struck and yet Sunstreaker never missed a beat. The two bots moved around the room gracefully as if practicing for a dace competition. Where other bots would trade barbs and insults to distract or enrage, there was utter silence, neither willing to risk even the slightest slip in concentration. A savage grin spread across shadows face as she quickened her strikes, switching up her style to throw Sunstreaker off. As she feinted left she dropped to a low sweeping lunge, knocking sunnys feet from under him. Fast as a cat she pinned him with the tip of her knife to the hollow of his throat.

A slow deep clap resonated from the entrance of the room where a large black mech casually leaned against the frame of the door. "Well done, it's been many, many vorns since I have someone not only match but best Sunstreaker." His voice deep and steady as his clap. "If I may ask who is this lovely dangerous Femme? "

"Designation's Shadow, sir" she said as she offered a servo to Sunstreaker as he lay stunned on the ground. He glowered at her before accepting it, a flicker of stubborn respect flashed across his optics.

"So it's true, your still alive and kicking I see Sunstreaker" said the black bot. "Chromia and I were out on patrol when you bridged back" "It's nice to see another fellow warrior around here. Don't get me wrong the others are great fighters, but not many of them contain the same enthusiasm as we do about it."

Sunstreaker nodded in appreciation as he checked his finish. Nothing to drastic, a few light surface scratches here and there, but defiantly more than normal after a sparring session. "Nice to see you again to 'hide." he said when he was done contemplating how much buffing solution he would have to use to fix his finish. "This is our weapons specialist, Ironhide." He said to shadow when he realized she was just awkwardly standing there, hovering just out of the conversation.

"Prime sent me to show you to your berthrooms, he figured you would like a change of scenery from the medbay." Ironhide said with a chuckle in his voice. "And I don't suppose a break from hatchet would be a welcome opportunity."

Shadow and Sunstreaker followed him out of the training room as he led them down the corridors of the base. After a few blocks of halls he stopped outside of two large sliding doors on either side of the hall. "They are not anything special but they have berths, a full washroom, and a nice sized lounge area." mused Ironhide. "Hope you guys get along, they were the only two fully vacant rooms left and I thought you two would appreciate bunking by yourselves." "And this way shadow will know someone close by incase she needs anything while she is getting use to being a cybertronian." He said as he walked off down the corridor back to his own berthroom and to his mate chromia.

"Well im going to kick it for the night, Sweet dreams sunshine." Shadow said with a wink to Sunstreaker, finding great amusement in torturing him with his much hated nicknames. Sunny simply rolled his optics and entered his room. "Don't let the scraplets bite." He threw over his shoulder sarcastically moments before his door slid shut.

Gaah sunny is so stinking adorable. He's definitely giving me closet nice guy vibes in this story. Sorry for not updating in eons, went through a bored of writing phase and life was a tad on the crazy side. Also sorry for any spelling mistakes I did not catch. I love the part where shadow totally owns sunny, I can imagine exactly how he would look. Its the same expression most guys get when you shoulder-check them playing a sport in p.e. and knock them over "That little 115 pound girl just did that? Wth? lol I miss high school XD
