A/N: I finished writing the last chapter last night. As you can see I've already started the daily postings. The ending is perfect if I do say so myself, and you all are going to die over it. Just six more chapters left.

Greg slept until Mycroft gently shook him awake and the plane had already landed. Greg stretched and yawned, then rubbed the sleep out of his eyes.

"You did that on purpose." Greg accused.

"Maybe" Mycroft answered. Greg opened his eyes and found My's face close to his, the redhead's blue-grey eyes smoldering.

"Or maybe I couldn't wait any longer to ravage my husband who looks quite delectable in a tux."

Greg gulped at the intensity that was in Mycroft's gaze. The politician smirked and stood upright, smoothing out his light green button up shirt. Greg sat up in the seat and unbuckled the seatbelt Mycroft must've strapped him in when the plane had made its' descent.

"So do you want to change or are you content to leave like that?" Mycroft asked as Greg stood up and put the blanket that had been covering him in the seat he just occupied. Greg looked down at his rumpled clothes then looked back at My.

"I think I'll change." Greg answered. My handed him the carry on bag and pointed his husband in the direction to the lavatory. A few moments later and a text to his mother that he and Greg landed safely, Greg reemerged in a fresh set of clothes.

My smiled and picked up the sports jacket draped across the back of his seat. Greg returned the smile and walked over to his husband, slipping his hand into My's, pressing a kiss to his cheek.

"Now will you stop trying to guess where we are and just go along with my surprise?"

"Alright, but only because I love you" Greg replied.

"I love you too dear."

They walked off the plane to a waiting car on the tarmac. As the car drove through the unknown countryside, Greg could swear it seemed familiar.

"Gregory" Mycroft warned.

"What can't I just enjoy the scenery?" Greg defended.

"I know you love, and I know you don't leave a mystery unsolved easily."

Greg scrunched his face trying to come up with a counter argument, but none appeared. He then took to studying Mycroft, appreciating how the light linen suit complemented his lean figure, the way his brow furrowed as he read the email on his phone.

"My, I thought the point of a honeymoon was to get away from work."

Mycroft quickly tapped out a reply and sent it off before looking up and answering.

"It is, and I promise that is the last bit of work I will do."

"I'll believe it when I see it." Greg said with a smile.

Mycroft returned the smile. His eyes flitted to the front of the car and seeing they were nearing their destination he focused back to Greg.

"Gregory dear, can you do me a favor."

"What favor would that be?"

"Close your eyes until I tell you to open them."

"I suppose." Greg replied closing his eyes.

Greg felt the car come to a stop not long after. He stayed where he was until he heard his door open and felt Mycroft grab his hand.

As Mycroft led him to who knows where, Greg jokingly asked, "So does this surprise involve you naked?"

"You never know" Mycroft chuckled.

"Guess I'll just have to wait and see."

After walking what felt like 20 feet, they stopped and Mycroft turned Greg 30 degrees to the left. He let go of Greg and stepped to his left, turning his body to what he positioned Greg to look at but was still standing to where he could see Greg's reactions.

"Alright love, you can open your eyes."

Greg slowly opened his eyes, grateful he had done so with how bright it was. As soon as his eyes were open and adjusted, he took in his surroundings.

"Oh My" Greg gasped reverently.

Before him stood a French farmhouse that was reminiscent of Greg's Granpère's.

"Do you like it?" Mycroft asked.

Greg silently nodded, too overwhelmed with emotion to answer verbally. After a few moments of Greg silently staring at the building he asked softly, "How did you come up with this?"

"I wanted our honeymoon to be special, and you always talk fondly of your Grandpère and the summers you spent in France; so with a little help from your mother I found this villa for us to spend the next three weeks in."

"I love it My." Greg replied, tears welling in his eyes.

"Do you want to see the rest of it?" Mycroft asked. Greg nodded enthusiastically. Slipping his hand into his husband's, Mycroft gave Greg the grand tour.

They spent two weeks in bliss exploring nearby villages, walking the vineyard, or spending the day together in bed.

Right as Greg was feeling a bit homesick and missing the children, another one of Mycroft's surprises came to light.

It was midafternoon; Mycroft and Greg were walking back to house from a stroll in the vineyard when Greg spotted the car pulling up to the front door.

"Were we expecting anyone?" Greg asked curiously.

Mycroft smiled knowingly and answered, "Let's go find out who it could be."

Greg sent Mycroft a questioning look but picked up the pace to arrive at the house just as the passengers were climbing out of the vehicle.

Greg shaded his eyes and squinted towards the vehicle right as the smallest person caught sight of them and squealed "Daddy!" launching herself at Greg.

The wind was knocked out of him as Lizzie tackled Greg with a hug.

"Wha-What are you doing here?" Greg asked happily, seeing that the other people in the car had been Daniel and Thomas, he returned Lizzie's hug.

"Mycroft set it up to where we'd come down the last week of your honeymoon cause he knew you'd miss our adorable faces." Dan answered with a smirk.

"Really?" Greg asked turning to Mycroft.

"Of course" Mycroft answered. He then leaned in and whispered in Greg's ear, "Not to mention, two weeks with mummy is trying, even for me."

Greg chuckled then turned his attention back to the kids.

"Come on you lot, there's plenty to show you and I'm sure you'll love it."
