Authors Note: So yes, here's the deal. I DON'T want to continue this road any further. It seems it has leaded me down to a dead end. But alas I'll try to go around it for the sake of you guys. Yet, eventually this thing would break down . . . someday. Maybe to an abrupt ending . . . Until that day comes here's a few more chapters.
My apologies. . .
Anonymous Stalker
Blood
Time skip two days. . .
He examined the shelf once more. . . Finally he picked off a DVD that seemed promising. A horror film, actually, seems the right fit for a night together. The blonde headed towards the growing line of the video store when his phone started to ring. He looks at the caller ID and frowns; he tried to set it back into his pocket but accidentally answers the call. He curses, then,
"Hello?"
"Cloud?"
"Zack?"
"Hey, Aerith's having her party tonight. Did you forget?"
"Oh, yeah. You know what? I can't go."
"Come on Cloud, you have to. . . Look what every happened at the office you can forget about it there. No one at the office will be there."
"I'm actually really busy Zack."
"Really? What are you doing?"
"I'm at my house looking for a new job," he lied.
"Really? Because I'm looking through the glass window of a video store and I think I see you there."
Shit!
"Uh. . . That isn't me."
"It isn't?"
Cloud looked outside and sure enough Zack was standing there with his phone over his sear."Oh! I know who you're talking about. There's a guy in town that looks just like me! That's probably who you're seeing right now."
Take the bait. . .
"Really? Because he's on the phone too, and he's moving his lips at the same time you're talking. "
After that Cloud began to move his lips to contrast on what Zack just pointed out. But:
"Cloud I know you're not talking."
". . ."
"Cloud!"
"All right!" He yelled at his ravened friend outside the building. He ignored the stares sighted in the room. **
Tifa convinced Cloud to walk to the video store instead of taking his car. However, that could have been a better a good excuse to not go to Aerith's party. 'Oh hey, I can't go with you. . . How else would I get my car back?' Yet that never happened, now he has to take a ride with Zack to the get-together.
The older man drove them through a highway that seemed to take them farther away from the main city. "Why do you always have to baby me?" he said without missing a beat.
"It's for your own good."
"But I actually had plans—"
"Tifa won't be waiting for you."
"How did you know?"
"We had it planned that she'd ask for a movie. You'd go to the video store walking as planned and I'd be there to pick you up."
"But why did she do that?"
"She has her reasons. That's why when you'd leave she told us she'd be getting ready for tonight."
"So she's there already?"
"Yup, she's waiting for you."
A pause was carried out between them, until Cloud wanted to say something else, but dismissed that thought. "What?" Zack replied.
"Hmm?"
"You were about to say something?"
Cloud turned away, "It's nothing," he heard the other man sigh deeply. "Come on Cloud, there's something in your mind. I know it."
"So you, and Aerith, know?" He blurred out.
"Know about what?"
It was Cloud's turn to sigh. "You know . . . the whole office incident."
"Yeah," he took a right turn. "Tifa told us about that too." Cloud face palmed in utter embarrassment. He jumped when Zack laughed whole heartedly. "What?"
"You shouldn't be embarrassed! I guarantee you that other people did the same thing in their office. The only difference between you and Tifa is that she's too young for you and you're, well were, at a high position in our office . . . But 'ya know what? I think she suits you well."
Cloud just stares at him, letting him continue.
"She's like your better half. She's always kind and happy. It seems she wants to help out a lot. . . Maybe she will in the party. . . And I can tell she's changed you all ready," Zack reached over to Cloud and ruffled on his spiky, blonde locks, which didn't sit well with Cloud so he violently shook him off. This caused Zack's car to swerve noticeably to the side. Zack bellowed a laugh once again, "Seriously. What has she done to you? You look ten years younger!" He joked with him once more.
He thought: Lately . . . its' been physical with me and her . . . too physical. But I can't complain. Yeah, I do feel different. Lighter even . . . I don't think I care about what happened on my previous job anymore. Hell, I hated it! Maybe it was all for the best anyway. Maybe Tifa's anonymous stalking proved to be positive . . . And she's pretty, oh so very pretty . . . hold on . . .
"Zack?"
"Hmm?"
"You said that 'other people did the same thing in their office'? How do you know that?"
Zack said nothing, but alas Cloud caught on.
"You!"
"Hey come on! The moment was just right; I'd be stupid and have no dick if I passed that down."
"With . . . Aerith."
Silence again . . . "You know it." Was all Zack said.
Cloud was . . . neutral. "How is she?"
"You'll see," Zack said as he took another right.
"I'm so proud of you!" She said as she reached over to him and kissed him lovingly on his lips. Aerith walked towards his new desk, her hands tracing over the fine leather that was his, now, executive chair. Her eyes then found the black metal tag that had his name engraved on the front. 'Executive Fair'.
"I did it for you," he said as he held her from behind.
"It's a miracle," she looked towards him with her green eyes, her hand touching his right cheek. "One moment you where pronounced dead by the army and the next you're here with me. You became very successful in your career. I'm very proud of you Zack." He pecked her a kiss on her cheek bone. "Thank you, Aerith." He tightened his grip around her small waist, adjusting her back to plant tighter against his chest. She laid her head against his shoulder, able to have her lips close enough to his ear to whisper, "Don't leave me. . ."
"Hey . . . I won't okay? I didn't last time did I? I'm here am I? And I won't leave alright?" He took her chin in his hand, closing the space between her image and his, "I want to start a family with you . . . How will we to do that if I'm not around?" He kissed her gently, just merely touching each other's lips. Her want for air caused her mouth to strew open, letting Zack dive deeper. He danced his tongue in to her cavern. She moaned but dared not to stop him, in fact she let him continue, as she loved every romantic move he made. So far, she let him do as he pleases, until she kissed him back forcefully; but stopped the physical bonding when she felt a large hand trace down her thigh.
"Zack!" She whispered harshly, when he pulled her skirt up, "No we can't!"
"Shhh, it's okay. The blinds are closed, no one can see us. So long as we stay quiet, we won't get in trouble. Now what do you say?" He licked the skin on her neck, provoking her to moan and to not say 'no'.
"Quiet now," he began to unbutton her white blouse. "Zack, I-I don't want you to lose this hah—" She ceased to mutter any more words when Zack took hold of her breasts that were held in by her velvet bra. He clenched the tender flesh tightly, then pushing them together to create a more noticeable cleavage. "Zack," she said as her legs bent causing her buttocks to press against Zack's crotch. He moaned as she pressed herself on his clothed member.
"Aerith . . . let me love you," He dipped his hands under her bra, touching her flesh seductively. She only laid her head back as an answer to his advancements. Her mouth, opened, to let out her heavy breathing, "Zack . . . I . . ." She let her hand casually grab his clothed member, she stroked him slowly. He hissed, turning her to face him, when he took hold of her blouse and pulled it away from her torso.
The cloth landed beside Aerith . . . It seemed forced, but the young woman took it upon herself to remove her bra, letting round, luscious breasts to dance in mid-air. Zack's mouth watered, he didn't even refuse her own advancements of stripping him off of his suit and tie. She unbuttoned his dress shirt while kissing his chest with her wet kisses. It wasn't until she made it to the brim of his slacks that she stopped and looked at him with innocent and worried green eyes.
"Take it," he demanded.
"I'm afraid it'll be too loud." He rested his hands over her head. "It'll be fine, Aerith." Zack unbuckled is belt, and undid the button and zipper. Pulling down his slacks and undergarments just around the middle of his thighs, he let his member become free. Without hesitation Aerith took his hot length into her right hand. "Not so rough Aerith . . . Mhmm," he hung his head backwards, relishing the sensation that she was giving him with just her hand.
Then, she hung out her tongue and licked his head like a round popsicle. He groaned again, giving her chills. "Go head, don't keep me waiting," She took him whole, giving him goose bumps. Her head bobbed back and forth sucking hungrily at his member. She can feel his hot liquid beginning to spill down her throat, when suddenly, she heard him groan unreservedly and a tempting amount seed trickled down her throat. She let's go of him, wiping away exposed come from the corners of her mouth.
He pulls her up, and then pushes her down on top of his desk.
"You naughty girl," he kisses her collar bone, then, traces his tongue down to her left nipple (her most sensitive nipple). She moaned too, but quickly Zack covered her mouth.
"Shh," he reminded her and she nodded. He began to suck her flesh once more. Aerith tried her best to not make any attention grabbing sounds. But it was very difficult since she looked down at her lover at work. She petted his long dark locks as he sucked and groped his breasts, to her, he resembled of an infant. She smiled and Zack noticed it.
"What?"
"Nothing," she quickly responded.
"Hmm," his perverted hands quickly traveled down her stomach and into her skirt. They both moaned simultaneously.
"Hmm, you're so wet," he said as he tempted her body. The sounds of wet friction rubbing against skin were very noticeable. He rubbed her bead with both his index and middle finger, causing her to lay her head back again, trying her might to stop from moaning too loudly. "Be sure to be quiet okay?" He pulled down her skirt then he removed her moist panties, giving her a rush. "Zack . . ." she mewled. He hushed her before he went down under. Immediately she felt a delightful pressure, but her mind was still able to remind her that they are not alone and that they are in danger of being caught. She sucked in her breath, exposing her ribcage more, causing Zack to stop. "Just breathe Aerith. Breathe slowly."
She nodded, allowing him to push his tongue into her wet hole. Her breathing became hoarse and short; it was a matter of time before someone comes in and finds both of them in a scandalous predicament. Yet, to that thought, it made her more delighted. Oh, the thrill of the possibility of getting caught, it was almost sadistic.
Then she let out a deep breath, signaling her first orgasm. Her lover loomed over her, watching her with loving, seductive eyes. He took hold of both her knees pushing them farther apart when Aerith took it upon herself to place them over his shoulders. He smiled and she smiled back. With one of his index fingers he hovered it over his closed lips, wanting no sound.
She could feel his head touching her vulva, then press deep into her. Immediately she held on tightly to both sides of the desk as he started to thrust into her. The furniture creaked and nudged from their movements, but that was not the only evident part of the ritual. Their breathing was short but husky.
"We're going to get caught . . ." she whispered.
"No . . . we're not . . ."he whispered back.
"Yes . . . yes . . . yes . . . we are," she moaned.
". . . No . . ." Zack's pace grew, the exciting feeling in her womb intensified. She could feel that with his thrusts, that he was ready to make his release. He moaned her name down to her ear immediately before she felt really hot between her legs.
"Zack . . ."
"Oh Aerith . . ."
"Zack?"
"Hmm?"
"You're crushing me . . ."
He apologizes as he slowly pulls out. "We didn't get caught."
She shook her head and sighed in relief, "No we didn't."
"Promise you won't tell," he smiled. She laughed, slowly sitting up. "Umm, Zack? How are we going to clean this up?" She referred to the spilled seed on the desk and floor. Zack looked puzzled.
They arrived at Zack's house moments later. The blonde male sighed at the sight of the building being engrossed with lights and loud music. "Come on," Zack said. "It'll be fun." Cloud unbuckled his belt and opened the vehicle's door. "I'm only going to stay here for a while then I'll leave." Zack walked beside him and grinned, "With Tifa?" Cloud scolded him with a glare, causing Zack to laugh. The blonde looked away, looking smug, "So what if I am?"
Zack said nothing then. Cloud stopped when figured out that the house was just a few feet away. He felt a hand grip his arm and pulled him through a back door and led him in the back yard. Eyes darted at his presence while others greeted Zack.
Zack was right. There was not a single person in this yard that he knew or recognized. They must be outside friends of Zack or Aerith.
"Cloud you're here!" The blonde turned his attention to the greeter who happened to be Aerith.
"Aerith," he said as he took her genuine hug. Her small frame made him feel nostalgic as he recalled the days when they were really close . . . waiting for the day that Zack would wake up. His arms wrapped around her tighter and tighter, so much so, that he felt her push him back and succeed. "Oh, sorry."
"It's alright, Cloud. Glad you could come."
He scoffed, "From what I know it was all a plan."
Aerith's eyebrows pushed together, looking sad, "You don't want to be here?"
This caught Cloud off guard, "Ah . . . well. . ."
"If you don't want to be here, you can leave. Tifa's here too maybe she can join you," with that Aerith walked away. Cloud tried to take it back but it was too late. At the corner of his eye he saw Zack sigh, "What's wrong with her?"
"You'll find out soon enough. Go get Tifa, she's in the house, and then we'll talk."
Cloud nodded and walked towards the inside of the house as he spotted Zack walk towards the brunette woman.
"Aerith," he said as he held her hand. "Are you okay? You never talk to Cloud like that." She nodded, and then shook her head. Zack sighed unable to 'fix 'this dilemma. It has only been two days since they found out Aerith was pregnant and it seems that just a few hours later of that event that she started to act moody.
In the building Cloud walked through their kitchen and their living room finding strangers in them but not Tifa.
She must be upstairs. . .
The blonde climbed up the flight of stairs hoping to find her. He called her name in the small hallway, but she did not appear. He tried looking inside the rooms, alas they were all empty, and he found nothing more than furniture and carpets. He tried the next room and what he found stunned him in surprise and disbelief. No one was there but the furniture labeled the room different from the others. A crib, teddy bear printed shelves, a highchair, zoo animals painted on the walls, it was a nursery. Cloud just stood there staring blankly at the room when he heard a familiar voice.
He turned finding that it was Tifa wearing a tight sleeveless, black dress. "I can't believe you came!" she smiled with glee but. . . "Are you okay? You look sad."
Cloud looked away, embarrassed, "Do I?"She touched his clothed arm, making him look at her with unreadable eyes. "You look beautiful tonight." She smiled once more. "Let's go outside," she asked. But Cloud wouldn't move an inch.
"I have a better idea, since you look extravagant tonight, let's go on a date. I'll take you somewhere nice."
Tifa looked at him with disbelief, "But Zack and Aerith want to tell us something."
Cloud turned his attention towards the room once more, "I think I know what it already is. . ."
Tifa just stared at him then at the room. "Are you jealous?" The blonde sighed. "Come on, let me take you somewhere." The brunette stood back, "No. Cloud, we're supposed to stay here. Besides, I get the feeling that you might want to get me pregnant." He scoffed walking around the small room, observing the cutsie furniture with a distained look on his face.
"What?" Tifa swore she heard something from him.
He sighed, "I'm . . . 28. . . I'm not married, don't have kids. I don't even have a job. . . It feels as if my life is passing by, like I'm just rotting. . ."
Tifa never heard this from Cloud; it's not like him to spill his feelings. She walked over to him, trying to hold his harm but he pulled it away. "Are you coming or not?"
She sighs in grief, "Cloud . . . it's not the right thing to do."
"Fine," he walked around her, leaving the room.
Aerith and Zack were in the back yard enjoying the company of others, when at the corner of her eye, Aerith saw Tifa by herself walking towards them. "Tifa," she said, "Cloud's here, did you find him?"
"Yes, but he left," she responded quietly.
"What?" whispered Aerith, Zack drew closer pushing the women out of hearing reach from the others. "Did he say why he left?" Aerith asked. Tifa nodded, "He saw the nursery, and it got him upset."
Aerith looked down in disbelief; Cloud was a friend, just a friend. Or more like a little brother to her. When he told her that he had feelings for her she couldn't accept it. Aerith was in love with Zack nobody else . . . But her decision did hurt him, she could tell. On her wedding day he wouldn't even look at her, all he did was get drunk from whiskey and leave in an unbearable state.
She felt a hand rub her back, "I'll go get him, okay?" Zack said in a sure voice. "I think I know where he could be, Tifa, take care of Aerith for me while I'm gone. "
"I can take care of myself," Aerith remarked. Of course mood swings. "Alright honey," Zack said as he kissed her on her lips. He said his goodbyes to the guests then left, leaving Aerith to the care of Tifa. The women walked inside, Aerith sat beside the kitchen table and Tifa next to her. "Why did he leave? Did he say anything else?" Tifa nodded, "He talked about not having a job, not being married, or a father. He thinks he's gotten old. . . He looked very sad and bitter." Aerith sighed taking things to grief.
"Why is he like that?" Tifa asked. "One night . . . he stayed over at my house and cried . . . he even has horrible nightmares, wouldn't tell me what they were, but I could tell that they were troubling him. He drinks heavily too, I feel that it could hurt him. . ."
Aerith sighed holding her hand, "You really do care for him do you?"
Tifa nodded. "That's good, I'm glad that there is someone out there who cares about him. . . He needs it."
"Why?"
"Cloud and Zack where both in the war; kind of hard to imagine isn't it? But that event really did damage Cloud . . . he saw his friends die in front of him. Then it was Zack who saved him, after that, they were ambushed by the enemy. In the end, Zack was badly hurt, he came back with a comma, and Cloud came back with post partum depression. When they both got back, I took care of Zack until he woke up. During that time Cloud fell in love with me, but I rejected him," She sighed heavily. "I didn't love him Tifa, not like I did with Zack. I think I might have broken his heart, ever since then, Cloud became very distant. He often uses alcohol to ease his pain; I worry about him all the time. . ."
Tifa thought about Cloud, his characteristics were no this fault. No wonder he has a pair of dog tags with him. "Aerith," she got her attention by lightly laying her hand over her growing belly. "You have a baby to worry about now, not Cloud. . . I'll take care of him."
"No, Tifa, don't take him as a burden."
"I'm not. I'm 19, not stupid . . . I think I'm in love." Aerith stared at her wide eyed, and Tifa laughed. "It's true; ever since I started working at the company I would always watch him. I just found him appealing and all though he acts cold sometimes, I kind of liked it. Other times he's just . . . sweet and good company. We've been getting together these past couple of days and it's just nice being with him."
Aerith couldn't believe what she's hearing, "I haven't seen Cloud act that way in the longest time. . . Maybe," she thought, "Maybe he just needs to know that you love him."
"Maybe . . ."
Zack new where Cloud would be at this moment, he parked next to a bar that was located down town. Upon entering, he scouted the room for a familiar face and alas he found him. Cloud was sitting at the bar with whiskey in hand and a half empty bottle next to him. His body slumped over, supporting his head with his left hand. Zack quickly walked over and sat next to him.
"You know you are really immature," he said outright.
"Back off Zack. I said I didn't want to go."
"Oh, and I suppose you were going to keep Tifa waiting?"
Cloud said nothing, which made Zack angry, "Why are you like this? You can change Cloud just stop being an asshole. Do you know how Aerith looked like when she found out you left? No you don't because your whinny ass left."
"Why do you care? My God Zack get off my ass and leave me the hell alone. It's not like you're my father."
A brief pause went from both parties, "Did you really get jealous?"
"Jealous? Of what, Zack? . . . You go live you happy life with Aerith," he stepped down from the bar stool making his leave. "Where the hell are you going?"
"Just shut your mouth! I don't have to listen you! You have it all Zack so just leave me the hell alone!"
"Cloud!" he yelled after him as he followed him out the door. He saw the blonde get in his vehicle and drive off finding that the car swerved terribly.
Oh God he's drunk!
"Cloud!"
Zack got in to his own vehicle and immediately followed him, hoping to stop Cloud before anything horrible could happen. He raced to catch up to the blonde and as he did he sped up to stop him the only way he could. Zack forced the front of his car to crash against Cloud's, finally bringing him to a standstill. After that smoke began to rise from both cars and Zack got of the car to make sure Cloud was alright. He saw the blonde stumbling out of his car hastily.
"Cloud," Zack held out his arms to catch Cloud when the blond's fist impacted Zack's jaw. The raven man stumbled back in shock, holding his pained face with his right hand. He saw Cloud try to land another hit when he quickly took his extended arm. "Cloud stop!" They were making a scene, people gathered to watch two grown men fist fight brutally.
The blonde managed to break free from Zack's grasp and jabbed him square in the face. Cloud tried to land another assault on Zack but the raven haired man was faster in landing him his own deadly attack, causing the Cloud to knock out cold. The blond fell on the asphalt with his nose dripping with blood, Zack stared down at him with distress. Feeling warm liquid ooze down his nose, he too was bleeding.
Authors Note: So how was it? Leave a review and favorite if you did. Like I said the ending will be drawing near so be prepared to not hassle me ;) Oh gawd I made Cloud and Zack fight! What will happen next?
** This scene was copied from Jim Carry's Yes Man I just thought it was funny and that it'll lighten up the mood.
