Sophia walks into the living room. She is wearing a blue green the dye high-low dress, short slouch boots, an everyday facet statement necklace, and a 12 piece bangle set. Her hair is in a waterfall bride. She also has a Metal Mulisha maidens black faux leather crossbody purse on her right shoulder. Sasha is sitting on the couch. She looks to her left and sees her sister.
"Hey Soph, you look great," Sasha says.
"Thanks Sasha. Don't you think that this is a bit much? I don't even know what's going on at the park tonigh,." Sophia says.
"A surprise date that is so romantic," Sasha says.
"Yeah I know, but can't you call Blake?" She says.
"Sorry sis, no can do. When is Hunter supposed to be here to pick you up?" Sasha asks.
"He said he would be here around five o clock," She answers.
Sophia hears the door bell ring two minutes later. Sasha looks over at the clock on the wall.
"Would you look at that he's right on time," Sasha says.
Sasha gets off the couch and Sophia sits down. Sasha walks over to the door.
Hunter is standing in front of the door to Sophia's apartment. He is wearing a dark slacks with a button short-sleeved shirt and a nice blazer. The door opens a few seconds later. Sasha greets him.
"Hey Hunter, you look so handsome," Sasha says.
"Thanks Sasha. Is Sophia ready to go?" he says.
"Why don't you come in and ask her for yourself?" Sasha says.
He smiles and walks inside. They go into the living room. Sophia gets up off the couch and walks over to him. "Hey Sophia, you look stunning." he says.
"Thanks. Can you please tell me where we are going?" she asks.
"We are going to the park they are showing an outdoor movie," he answers.
"What movie are they showing?" she asks.
"The Notebook and we'll have a nice picnic," he answers.
"That sounds good," She says.
Before they go to the park they head to Storm Chargers.
"Well don't you two look nice?" Kelly says.
"Thanks Kelly." Sophia says.
Hunter heads to the back room to get the picnic basket and the rest of the food out of the fridge. He walks back into the main room two minutes later.
"What took you so long? Did you get lost back there?" Sophia asks.
"Very funny." he says.
They leave the store and get to the park ten minutes later and find a good spot to watch the movie. Hunter spreads out the blanket and sets the basket down. They sit down. He unpacks the basket (inside is a container with pasta salad, one with chicken salad sandwiches, another container with chocolate covered strawberries, and a thermos full of lemonade). He opens the container with the sandwiches and hand one to Sophia. After they finish dinner he puts everything away but the chocolate covered strawberries. Then the movie starts. He moves closer and put his arm around her.
I guess that I should set my head on his shoulder, Sophia thought.
Halfway through the movie they eat desert and eat the entire container. Hunter puts it away. Sophia starts to shiver from crisp night air.
"Here you go," Hunter says. Hunter takes off his blazer. He puts it on Sophia's shoulders. They go back watching the movie. The movie ends twenty-five minutes later. They get off the blanket. Hunter picks up the basket. Sophia folds up the blanket. They head back to Storm Charges to drop off the basket. They enter the store and walk up to the cash register. Hunter sets the basket down on the counter.
"How was the movie?" Kelly asks.
"Good and thanks for making that picnic too Kelly," Sophia says.
"What makes you so sure that I didn't make it?" Hunter asks.
"I ate a picnic made by Uncle Sam before. So, I know what a picnic made a boy tastes like. This picnic tasted liked one my Aunt May made," Sophia answers.
Hunter notices Sophia is about to set the blanket down on the counter. "Hold on Sophia, we still need that." Hunter says.
"Really, how come?" Sophia asks.
"I have one more surprise," he answers.
Hunter leads Sophia out of the store. Their first date is everything Sophia dreamed her first date would be. They are standing at the bottom of a mountain.
"Are you expecting me to climb this? I'm not exactly wearing the right shoes," Sophia says.
"I know," Hunter says. He bends down in front of her. "Climb on."
Sophia climbs on to his back. He stands up and starts to walks up the path. They get to the end of the path a few minutes later. He lets Sophia gets off his back. They walk into a field. Sophia sets the blanket down in middle it. They lie down. They look up and it's like the stars went on forever.
"Hunter, I didn't think that there were place in town where you can still see stars like this," Sophia says.
"I guess that you like it?" he asks.
"I love it," she answers.
A few minutes later a meteor shower starts.
"Hunter was a meteor shower supposed to happen tonight?" she asks.
"Yes, that was the surprise I wanted to show you," he answers.
"Well this was a beautiful surprise. Aren't you supposed to make a wish now?" she asks.
"Yes. I don't need to make a wish," he answers.
"Why?" She asks.
"Because my wish all ready came true. I got to spend wonderful night with the prettiest girl in Blue Bay Harbor," he answers.
After Sophia hears him say that she feels her heart start to beat so fast that she couldn't speak. A few seconds later I'm able to speak again. "Hunter, I had a really nice time tonight," she says.
"Me too, Sophia," he says. The shower lasts for a few more minutes. They sit up. Hunter looks down at his watch. "I think I should get you back home. It's getting late," he says. They get off the blanket and head back to Sophia's apartment. They are standing outside the door. "Goodnight, Sophia," he says.
He gives her a quick peck on the cheek and leaves.. Sophia turns around and walks into her apartment. She closes the door behind her and leans up against it.
Wow, this was the best night of my life. If I'm dreaming nobody pinch me. Sophia thought.
