"I'm actually rather looking forward to this..." Diaspro said as she pinned up her hair with silver pins with ruby stones on the ends.

"Judging by the way you've talked about it over the last few days, I'm not surprised. I know you're going to be great at this job..." Anthony smiled as he watched his girlfriend get ready to return to Magix and shock the masses.

"Of course. I'm not going to back away from an opportunity like this- and of course, I must look absolutely stunning when I make my entrance in the Grand Hall in Magix City. I'm almost hoping that Bloom will be there. Just imagining the look on her face..." Diaspro rubbed her hands together and chuckled in glee before applying some mascara.

"I know you're going to enjoy messing with the people there, but never forget your true purpose. Your duty to your new official queen." Anthony reminded her.

"Of course I would not forget. But what's the point of the job if you can't enjoy what you do? I think they'll find that I'm very good at what I do." She reached into her closet and pulled out a simple, floor-length scarlet strapless gown with a black hem and a pair of black elbow-length gloves. "You know what would be the best part of this? You walking in on my arm. We'd be the two most attractive people there, I'm sure. We'd give even Crown Princess Stella of Solaria and her squire boyfriend Brandon a run for their money!"

"But this is a meeting strictly for the Monarchs and/or their chief diplomats/liaisons/whatever. I wouldn't be invited to that, would I?" Anthony looked momentarily confused.

"No, but there are other things that I could bring you to. Which you can be certain, I will." Diaspro snapped her fingers and her cream-coloured dressing robe immediately switched places with the dress.

"Why'd you have to do that? I'd have quite liked to see you change the regular way..." Anthony pouted.

"Oh you'll most certainly get to see that in time if you behave yourself, Anthony. In time..." She pulled on her gloves and leaned in for a long, lingering kiss.

"Only that time is really not today- or rather, tonight..." She glanced out at the setting sun over the London cityscape.

"It's sometime after eleven in the morning there in Magix City and the meeting is to start at precisely noon. Now I know about being fashionably late, but this is not the time or place to do that..." Diaspro reached back into the closet for a pair of silver stilettos and slipped them on quickly.

"Are you going back to your flat or are you going to wait here for me?" She asked.

"I think I'll wait here for you. I don't have work tomorrow, so I can stay over and hear all about your latest adventure when you get back..." He grinned and Diaspro grinned back at him.

"And I'm sure the stories will be well worth the wait." She kissed him again. "I'm going to need to get going in order to get there on time. See you later!" She waved as she transformed into her Believix form, called up her Zoomix wings and transported herself to Magix City.

The Grand Hall in Magix City was teeming over with kings and queens from all over the dimensions and their officials.

Diaspro had donned shades upon entering and taking the newest seat in the actual meeting area, the one dedicated to the current magical monarch of the Earth realm of Tir Nan Og- or their representative.

People near her looked at her curiously.

Across the meeting area, she could see Princesses Aisha of Andros and Bloom of Domino seated with their fathers glancing over at her curiously. She merely smirked back at them in response.

Sky was there with Erendor, buy they were too engrossed in their conversation to notice her.

Princess Stella of Solaria was the closest seated Winx Princess to her, one row back and a few seats down. She and her father too, looked in her direction curiously.

Even her "father" was there, though he had brought no one else with him. He was engrossed in a conversation with Queen Hannah of Jandor who was to his immediate right.

Once everyone had settled, the chairman called the meeting to order.

"Welcome, welcome everyone to the newest session of the Sovereign's Council. Today we have a lot of business to discuss, but first..." The Chair of that meeting, King Faisal of Chronos looked in her direction.

"Earth is finally returning from its non-magical dark days brought on by the Wizards of the Black Circle. They are looking to reconnect with us, as they had before their attack and look forward to it. Lady Morgana named Queen Nebula as the Queen of Tir Nan Og in her stead as she wanted to experience life on Earth as normally as she could."

"However, life on Earth is not going to be normal for a long time. It was discovered that the Wizards of the Black Circle had Apprentices, who seek to quash the newly re-emerging fairy magic of Earth."

Nearly everyone in the meeting hall gasped.

"They are throwing everything they have into combating that threat. As a result, they have done a rarity of sending a non-native born representative on their behalf..."

At these words everyone turned to look at her.

It was then that she removed her shades.

The hall went completely silent as everyone took her in.

Then a few more seconds before someone recognized her.

"DIASPRO? Diaspro is the representative of Tir Nan Og?" Bloom burst out.

As soon as the words escaped her lips, the hall erupted into chaos.

"How? How did she-?"

"Forget how. Why would they send her back?"

"Princess Diaspro, is that really you?" King Percival of Telum who sat to her immediate left turned to her.

"Indeed it is, Your Majesty. Though due to the manner in which my exit was caused, I daresay that I no longer have that title..." She smiled slightly at him.

"Ah, I see. Welcome back then, Diaspro. I'm willing to put the past in the past in order to have good relations between my Kingdom and the realm that you now represent." He leaned over to shake her hand and she took it, shaking firmly.

"Glad to hear it, though I daresay that not many here will feel that way..." She gestured to the hall at large.

"Silence!" King Faisal's voice was magically echoed around and everyone went silent.

"I know that most of you are wondering why she is the representative, how she came to be in Queen Nebula's acquaintance in the first place and even if she can be trusted after all we know that she has done. Queen Nebula did however foresee this and she spoke to me beforehand. Needless to say, I was quite against the idea at first, until she managed to explain her reasoning to me. She also prepared a video testimony..." He held up a disc and Diaspro raised an eyebrow. She wasn't aware of that...

"... and sent it to me just this morning in the time of my capital city of Abdali, before I left the royal palace to begin the journey here. It may not change your minds on how you feel about her, but I at least ask you to watch and during her tenure here, to at least remain civil." He walked to the large floor to ceiling screen behind him and slipped the disc into a slot, and allowed it to play.

"Greetings, Sovereign's Council. By this point, you will have realized who I have sent to represent my lovely Tir Nan Og for the time being. Yes, it is Diaspro, the same woman who aligned herself with Valtor, who would have caused chaos on several of your planets. However, I do believe she has changed and to me she has proved herself several times over.

She thwarted an Apprentice attack on a young English teenager-turned-fairy named Katie. If she had not stepped in, Katie would have lost the magic she only recently discovered she had and possibly worse. If you also check the British news media here on Earth, you would see that she also went to great lengths to save her two best friends- yes, she managed to make genuine friends- from kidnappers who would have killed them if she did not take great risks to herself in order to save them. One of them, Helen, is a fairy and the other, Zinah is a witch, who unlocked their own magic under the duress of the situation. After that, they became closer than before, so I can tell that she has no overt malice towards either alignment.

To me, these prove that Diaspro has changed. The old Diaspro would have never gone to such lengths for those she pretended were her friends. I also see a bit of myself in her. We both went to extremes to get what we wanted, though for different reasons and we were both brought to reason in remarkably different ways...

I do not ask that you forget what she has done or even forgive what she has done. All I ask is that you allow her a chance to represent Tir Nan Og to the fullest while we get our affairs in order and take care of the magical chaos evolving on our beloved planet.

I think you'll find that she is quite capable of doing what is needed and she will be willing to put her disagreements with some of you aside in order to do what needs to be done."

The Council remained silent for quite some time after the clip finished, including Diaspro herself, who was lost in thought.

"Wow. Queen Nebula really has faith in me, doesn't she? I certainly can't let her down now..." She thought before her thoughts were interrupted by King Faisal.

"You seen the testimony to her changed character. I myself have looked up the events that Queen Nebula mentioned before deciding to play the disc here and it is indeed true. She risked her life more than once to help the Magical Renaissance. If that isn't testimony to a character we can at least trust won't align herself with the dark side again, I don't know what is. Diaspro, would you like to speak?" He turned to her as did everyone else.

"I have not much else to say..." Diaspro said as she stood up. "...except that that testimonial that she recorded, I was completely unaware of. I was quite ready to come back here and do the job she offered me in good faith to the best of my ability and I do not plan to disappoint her. My magic is bound to Earth's magic now. She allowed me to stay and helped me to gain legitimate citizenship in both Tir Nan Og and in the United Kingdom, where I lived in London, England ever since I arrived on Earth. I like living there and I love Tir Nan Og. I made a new life for myself, I made friends, gained a real significant other..." She glanced over at Sky, who was looking somewhat uncomfortable under her gaze.

"...and I even managed to move up through the magical power ranks for a fairy, if you will believe it. As she said, I do not expect all of you to forgive me, especially those who I directly affected by my actions aligning myself with Valtor. But I did not come here to seek forgiveness. I came here to do a job and I'm not about to let anyone here stop me from doing that."

And with that, she sat down and let the Council get on with its business as best as it could.

"You sent Diaspro as your representative here on Magix? That... That is so utterly devious of you." Griffin smirked as she conversed with Queen Nebula via her crystal ball.

"Oh, I know. But I really do think that she would be a good candidate for it. She can be fairly cutthroat when she needs to be and she's rather to the point. She's the closest to an appropriate candidate I have now until things here can settle down a bit. Besides, some of the more... starchy politicians of the realms could do with a bit of shaking up, don't you think?" Nebula said.

"How very witchy of you, Your Majesty..." Miss Griffin chortled.

"Make no mistake. I'm still a fairy through and through, Griffin. But that doesn't mean that fairies don't know how to play dirty when they need to." Nebula smirked.

"Of course." Griffin acknowledged.

"So how is Zinah doing there at Cloud Tower for her crash course in witchcraft before your team comes to Earth?" Nebula asked.

"She's doing quite well, actually. And she's getting along with her fellow team members. Lucy, Shilly, Lucrezia and Rachel say she's doing fine for someone so new to witchcraft and she's only been here in Magix for a week..." Griffin said.

"That's good to hear. Anyway, I have other business to tend to..." Nebula ended the call.

"Feel the darkness running through your veins, Zinah. Let it consume you..." Lucy instructed as she, Shilly, Lucrezia and Rachel watched Zinah in an empty Cloud Tower classroom.

Zinah was transformed and floated a few inches off the ground as a black aura engulfed her.

When she opened her eyes, they were completely black and she managed to form a dark energy sphere in her hands.

"Now, let loose all the rage you feel at the world. Maybe even imagine the creeps who kidnapped you and your friend in an effort to break your father. That will add to the darkness you feel..." Shilly instructed.

Zinah moved her hands around the sphere and it got considerably bigger.

"Now, let it loose at that figurine over there!" Lucrezia pointed towards a large, stone dummy at the opposite end of the classroom.

Zinah levitated a little higher, raised the energy over her head where it grew even larger and shot it at the figure.

The blast of dark energy reduced the dummy to bits as Zinah floated down to the ground and the dark aura faded away as her eyes resumed their normal appearance.

Rachel clapped. "Wow. Well done, Zinah. I don't know about the others, but you really impressed me today."

"She impressed me too. Well done, Zinah." Lucy clapped her on the shoulder.

"Thanks. It feels good to have improved in such a short space of time. It's only been a month since I came here for your crash course in witchcraft..." Zinah said.

"Yeah. I think she's ready for the mission. What do you think, fellow witches?" Shilly asked the others.

They all nodded in agreement.

"Thanks for the vote of confidence, everyone. So, when do we return to Earth?" Zinah asked as she de-transformed.

"Two days. That should give us enough time to wrap up loose ends here. We have the Witch Tracker to help us with long-range detection, plus you've honed your innate Magic Sense to an acceptable level..." Lucy said.

"Oh good. So how are we doing this then? Do we have a team leader?" Zinah asked.

"Why? Do you want to be the leader just because you're the one from Earth?" Lucy scoffed.

"Yeah, we're not like a certain other group you know. Don't expect to come in and have the universe revolve around you!" Shilly frowned.

"Certainly not." Zinah frowned back. "I wouldn't say that I should be the leader of the team. I mean, Earth is my home turf, but you four are all much more experienced witches than I am and I could learn a lot from you." She continued.

"Fair enough. I can live with that. Leadership can depend on the situation at hand." Lucy held out a hand and the Earthling witch shook it firmly as the other witches nodded in agreement.

"So I guess this means we're officially on our mission..." Lucrezia said.

"We're just like a witch version of the Winx Club then!" Rachel squealed excitedly.

The other four witches turned to glare at her.

"Do not even mention those Winx Club goodie-goodies in my presence." Shilly growled.

"Same here..." Lucy said in a similar tone.

"Pretty sure Diaspro would agree- and she's a fairy herself..." Zinah added.

"Pretty witchy for a fairy, she is. I may just be able to tolerate her..." Lucrezia admitted.

"As much as I like talking about one of my best friends, don't we have work to do?" Zinah asked, raising an eyebrow.

"I like a witch who gets down to business. Come, Zinah. There's a few more pointers we have to give you about being a witch..." Lucy motioned for Zinah and the other witches to follow her out of the classroom.

Helen sat in the library of the school section of the Institute of Magic, studying.

She had decided to accept the offer from Queen Nebula almost as soon as she had returned to the United Kingdom and talked with her parents.

They had all agreed that it would be a wonderful opportunity- one that she would never have again, so she should take it while she could.

And so she had.

Only three weeks after the offer had been made, she had settled all her business in her home country and moved over the pond to the United States to work here in Gardenia, California and study fairy magic at the same time.

So far, she was doing well and enjoying herself.

Most of the students there were younger than she was, but she got on decently enough with them.

She'd even managed to get a flat- or as the Americans called it- an apartment- inside the Institute itself that had everything she needed.

It was early September that she had discovered her powers after she and Zinah had been kidnapped and it was now early December.

Four months.

Time does fly fast when you have a lot of excitement in your life, doesn't it?

Zinah had called her from Pakistan two days ago, where she was with her witch team, looking for another witch there.

Apparently, not only had they found the witch, but they had also found a rather handsome wizard who was visiting there named Mahdi Sharif- a British born man around their age who apparently helped them out of a sticky situation.

They joked about it for a while before they both had to go back to their lives.

Later today, she was also expecting a call from Diaspro, who had promised to call her and let her know how her latest Sovereign's Council meeting went.

She chuckled to herself as she worked on her latest assignment. That was bound to be entertaining...

Diaspro stood outside the entrance of the Grand Hall after another session was over.

The paparazzi were taking as much pictures as they can of her since obviously her return to Magix had caused quite a stir.

"Don't you cretins have anything better to do?" She asked as she made her way through the crowd, casting repelling charms so they couldn't get too close for comfort.

She made her way to a nearby restaurant, The Crystal Rose.

"A seat in the further back from those paparazzi cretins, please..." She instructed the waiter.

"Very well, Madam. This way please..." The waiter led her away to the more private section.

After being seated and having perused the menu for a few minutes, she glanced up to see a mane of red hair headed her way.

"Oh wow. Can't a woman have some lunch in peace now?" Diaspro sighed as Bloom approached her.

"We need to talk." Bloom put her hand down on the table.

"Oh? I wasn't aware that we needed to talk. I most certainly don't need to talk to you." Diaspro said coolly.

"I don't like you Diaspro, and I don't trust you either." Bloom replied in an equally frosty tone.

"That makes two of us. Now get to the point so I can enjoy my food when I order it. Your ugly mug is ruining my appetite, you see..."

Bloom muttered something under her breath.

"Oh, what was that?" Diaspro smiled tauntingly at her.

"I see... you went to the planet I was raised in, though to a different country. You've even picked up a bit of an English accent, so I've noticed when you speak at the meetings..." Bloom said.

"Really? I guess I didn't notice a change in my accent. There was the only place I actually lived since being in exile. I roamed around the magical universe, but I decided to settle in London after a bit, since I wouldn't be recognized there. Obviously that's changed now, but I certainly don't regret it. You have your best friends, I have mine. You have a man who loves you and I have mine. I guess I never really did love Sky, but the idea of being his Queen. I did spend my entire life up until you showed up training to be precisely that, after all..." Diaspro said.

"Uh-huh... Listen, I won't give you a hard time at the meetings if you won't do the same." Bloom held out a hand.

"No guarantees on that, but I will be civil to you and your friends. Gives me the chance to mess with the paparazzi. We're supposed to hate each other after all. Not appear amicable in public." Diaspro smirked at the thought and Bloom couldn't help but chuckle.

"I guess that is the only thing we'll ever be able to agree on, isn't it?" Bloom said.

"I guess so. Now don't you have lunch to eat? I have some to order right now and as I haven't eaten here in literally years, I intend to enjoy this." Diaspro put back up her menu in front of her face, eyeing Bloom over the top of it until the redhead finally left.

"Well, that went smoother than I ever thought it would..." She thought. "I almost expected a Believix edition of what happened during our first meeting..."

We all know Lucy, but Shilly is a background witch in both the cartoon and the comics, Lucrezia and Rachel appear only in the comics.

Only one more chapter after this, folks!
