Impressing the parents (Based on Brother in Arms)

Sasha is watching her sister do another practice lap. This time after she exited the rhythm section she sees Sophia's bike start to smoke. She starts to get really worried for her little sister. After Sophia crossed the finish line, she rides over to her. She takes off her helmet hangs it on the handle bar before getting off.

"What's wrong with your bike?" Sasha asks curiously.

"It sounded like the top end. I guess I over did it with all the practice." Sophia says.

"Can you rebuild it before the race?" Sasha asks.

"No, I guess that mom and dad won't get to see me race after all." Sophia says sadly.

Then a skinny man that looks a little nerdy slowly walks up to them. He is carrying a toolbox. He sees the disappointed look in Sophia eyes. He clears his throat to get the girls attention.

"The name is Perry. I can fix your bike. People say I'm a motocross genius." Perry says.

"That's an impressive nick name. I'm Sophia by the way." Sophia says.

"Well, Sophia what do you say? Will you let me fix your bike?" Perry asks.

"I really want my parents to see me race. The race is in an hour and a half, can you have it ready by then." Sophia says.

"I'll have it done in time for you to warm up." Perry says.

"Sweet," Sophia says happily.

Sophia backs away from her bike. They watch Perry wheel it away. Sophia looks over at her sister. She sees a look on her face that said she didn't like the idea.

"Relax, sis, he is taking it to the garage right over there." Sophia says reassuringly.

"I know Soph. I guess I'm a little on edge after what happened with Dustin." Sasha says.

"At least this time, the guy isn't wheeling it away to some shop, across town." Sophia says.

"True, I really hope that Perry gets it done on time." Sasha says.

Thirty minutes later, Perry wheels Sophia's bike to them. He sees a huge smile on her face as she grabs her helmet off the handle bar.

"Thank you so much Perry," Sophia says gratefully.

"You're very welcome Sophia. I adjusted the float on your pilot jet, too." Perry says.

"Sweet," Sophia says gleefully.

She sits down on her bike, starts it up by kicking it and puts her helmet back on. She rides back over to the track. She rides around the track with the other riders who were warming up as well. After she does a few laps she rides over to the side of the track again. She takes off her helmet again to see Hunter and the rest of her friends. She sadly hangs her helmet on the handlebar when she didn't see her parents.

"Sasha, how come mom and dad aren't here yet? They promised that they would be here to watch me," Sophia says.

"Relax, sis, they'll be here," Sasha says.

"Yeah, Sasha is right. They still have ten minutes." Hunter says.

"That's not a lot of time." Sophia says.

Meanwhile, with Julia and Brayden, he pulled the car over to the side of the road. Julia hands him the map. He unfolds it and places it on the steering wheel.

"I told you to pull into that gas station a mile back to ask for directions. Now we are going to be late to watch Sophia's race. We promised that we would be there on time, remember?" Julia snaps.

"I know, honey, but I don't understand how we got this lost." Brayden says shaking his head.

"You need to figure out how to get to the track soon. The race starts in six minutes." Julia snaps.

"I'm doing the best I can," Brayden snaps back.

A few seconds later they hear a tap on the window. They turn their heads to see the person who is tapping on it, Officer Christen. Brayden rolls down the window slowly.

"Hello, officer, is there a problem?" Brayden asks.

"No, sir, but is there anything I can do to help you folks out?" Officer Christen answers.

"Yes, officer, my husband refused to ask for directions to the motocross track. Now we are going to miss our daughter's race." Julia says.

"Believe me Ma'am, I understand your frustration. My husband did the exact same thing on our last family trip to Utah. I'm afraid that you passed the turn off ten miles back. I can give you an escort." Officer Christen offers.

"That would great thank you so much," Julia says.

Back at the track, Sophia is pacing back and forth. She is incredibly nervous that her parents aren't going to make it on time. Hunter grabs her wrist and pulls her into his chest. Sophia tries to get away, but Hunter holds his ground to stop her from escaping.

"Hunter, if I promise to stop pacing will you let me go?" Sophia asks.

"Maybe, but we both know that you'll start pacing again as soon as I let you go." Hunter says.

"I'm sorry guys. I'm just worried that something bad happened to them." Sophia says.

"Relax sis, I'm sure that they just missed the turn off for the track and got lost because dad refused to ask for directions." Sasha says in a reassuring tone.

"That does sound like dad," Sophia says, cracking a small smile.

"Do you remember our last daddy daughter road trip?" Sasha says.

"Yes, it was terrible. I can't believe that mom agreed to it." Sophia says.

"What happened?" Dustin asks.

"Dad figured he wanted one last chance to spend with us before I left for college. We were headed to see the Mesa Verde Cliff Ruins in Cortez, Colorado. The car broke down right as we got to St. Louis. We tried to convince dad to call roadside assistance, but he refused." Sasha says.

"Dad didn't refuse to call Sasha. He couldn't since he forgot his phone charger at home. Lucky for him we came prepared, and the car stopped right in front of the sign that told us what number we needed to dial." Sophia says correcting her older sister.

"And that I remember the last mile marker that we passed too," Sasha says smiling. "After the tow truck arrived it dropped us off at the repair shop. We decided to call mom. She told us that she was proud us for taking charge and being so responsible. We spent a few days in St. Louis while the car was being fixed. We had a lot of fun, but dad was mad that his plans were messed up."

"He learned a lot from us about seeing the bright side of a situation, right sis?" Sophia says.

"Yup, we got there a few days late, but dad still got to bond with in the end." Sasha says.

"I learned how well I raised my girls and that they would fine on their own when that day would come when you left the nest." Brayden says.

Hunter lets Sophia go. She runs over to her dad. He gives her a hug. Sophia didn't care what the others riders thought because that she was so happy that they were here. Brayden lets his youngest daughter go and they back over to Sasha and the others.

"I'm glad you two made it, Mr. and Mrs. Robins." Hunter says.

"Yeah, dad, Sophia was pacing like a manic." Sasha adds.

"I'm sorry that we cut it so close. My husband refused to ask for directions after we passed the turn off. A nice officer offered to show us the way." Julia says.

"Will all the racers for the next race. Please line up at the starting line." The announcer says.

"I'm up, gotta go." Sophia says.

"Good luck sweetie," Julia says.

"Be careful," Brayden says.

Sophia smiles and shakes her head. She climbs onto her bike, puts on her helmet, starts it up and rides up the starting line. Everyone watches as the five second board goes up. The gates go down a few seconds later and dirt flies into the air. Hunter starts timing her and his eyes widen in shock seeing how fast her time is.

"Man, if she keeps this up, she'll be her personal best time by the second lap." Hunter says.

As she enters the second lap Sophia has such a big lead now none of the other riders could catch her. Everyone cheers loudly as she crossed the finish line. She rides over to the group, takes off her helmet, and gets off.

"Honey, you were amazing out there," Julia says as she gives her daughter a hug.

"Thanks mom," Sophia says.

After her mom lets her go she looks over at her dad. She is surprised to see a smile on his face.

"Dad, why are you smiling?" Sophia asks.

"Because, I could see that you were having fun out there." Brayden says.

"Does that mean what I think it means?" Sophia says.

"Yes, sweetie, you don't have to go to college." Brayden says.

"I don't, really." Sophia says in shock.

"Yes, you can keep riding." Brayden says proudly.

"Thanks dad, I'll make you proud." Sophia says confidently.

"I know you will honey," Brayden says smiling.

An hour later everyone went to storm chargers after Sophia and Sasha dropped off their parents at the airport. The group walks over to the area where the TV was. Sophia still has a big smile on her face. Hunter sits down on the couch first. Sophia sits down on his lap. He wraps his arms around her and pulls her into his chest.

"Sasha, what made you so sure that dad would let me continue to ride if he saw me race?" Sophia asks.

"Simple, little sis, when you're on that bike, it's like you become a completely different person," Sasha says.

"How am I different exactly," Sophia asks, confused with her sister last statement.

"You are so focused on trying to improve your own skills. At a race you always race clean, and your passion for the sport comes shining through." Sasha says.

"I never knew I did that, so thanks sis," Sophia says smiling.

"You're welcome Soph," Sasha says smiling back.

"Sophia, you really were amazing out there." Dustin says.

"Thanks Dustin," Sophia says.

"You really are getting faster sis." Sasha says.

"Thanks sis, but I thought that I was riding a factory bike." Sophia says.

"Yeah, Perry hooked you up, did he?" Sasha says.

"He sure did," Sophia says.

"That's Perry, he's a motocross genius." Dustin says.

"You've met him before." Sophia says.

"Yeah, he lives in a creepy place down by the train tracks outside of town." Dustin says.

"If you know this guy, why didn't you call him when your bike broke?" Sophia asks.

"I never got his number." Dustin says.

"Sure, you didn't," Sophia says sarcastically.

A few minutes later they hear their morphers go off. Everyone gets up and go to a safe place.

"Go for Sophia," Sophia says raising her morpher to her lips.

"We have a robed monster down by the train tracks." Cam says.

"Got it Cam," Sophia says.

They met up with Cam in the mobile HQ to get their bikes. They ride up and stop three feet in front of the monster.

= Silver Lightning =

"Hey, what do you want freak?" Sophia asks.

"A little race," The monster says.

The monster takes off his robe. He waves his left hand in front of him. A few seconds later a bike appears in front of him. The monster gets on his bike and revs the engine.

"Get ready to lose freak. You don't know who you are messing with." Sophia says confidently.

Sophia races towards him. She fires her lasers at him. The monster rides towards her. He dodges the blasts by jumping off his bike. Then Sophia feels his foot hit her stomach. She is sent flying backwards and her bike continues forward to crash into a few barrels. Sophia rolls along the ground a few times before stopping in front of a support beam of the building that was behind her. Cam runs over to her in Super Samurai mode.

"Sophia, are you okay." Cam asks.

"Yeah," Sophia says. She pushes herself up off the ground. "Let's get him,"

They run up to him again. Sophia pulls out her blaster. She fires it at him, and is in shock when she sees her attack bounces off of him. The others join in the fight, but they get thrown around like rag dolls. Sophia chases after the monster when it goes inside the building.

"Hey, I'm not finished with you yet." Sophia shouts.

The monster turns around and sees Sophia charging in towards him. He grabs her wrist and twists it around slowly. Sophia quietly winces in pain before trying to kick the monster in the stomach.

"Do you have a name?" Sophia asks.

"I'm Motodrone, but you won't be able to tell your friends that." Motodrone says.

He lets go of her wrist, kicks her in the stomach again, but this time he knocked the wind out of her. Then he throws her towards the wall. Sophia feels a little dizzy from the rush a pain that went through her body when she hit the wall.

"I think you will be able to help me after all," Motodrone says.

She looks up to see Hunter charging in and shooting his blaster at him. His attack bounces off Motodrone so he uses his staff to attack his right leg.

"This isn't over, I'll be back." He says limping away from Hunter.

Hunter runs over to Sophia. She gets up and another dizzy spell hits her because she moved too fast. Hunter catches her in his arm and their visors open. The others enter as well with their visors open too.

"Thanks for the assist and nice catch by the way." Sophia says.

"You're welcome," Hunter says.

"Sophia, you okay?" Sasha asks.

"Yeah, I'm fine. I just moved too fast and lost it for a second that's all." Sophia says.

"Let's head back to Ninja Ops so I can find out more about this new threat." Cam says.

= Silver Lightning =

The group nods. Hunter helps Sophia to her feet. Then they head outside to their bikes and ride back to Ops. When they arrive Sophia sets her jacket on the table. Sasha sees her sister winces slightly.

"Soph, are you sure that you're all right?" Sasha asks in a concerned tone.

"Relax sis, I'm fine- really." Sophia answers confidently.

Sasha isn't convinced so she walks over her little sister. She gives a stern look.

"Fine, I'll let you check me out. You won't find anything." Sophia says annoyed.

Sophia sits down. Sasha rolls up her shirt and didn't find any bruises on her back or her torso. She rolls it back down and rolls up her right sleeve. She finds a small cut. Blake hands her the first aid kit. She cleans it and puts a bandage on it that was big enough to cover it. Then she continues to check her other arm. She rolls it up slowly. Sophia winces slightly when her sister's fingers touch the bruise forming on her elbow.

"I'm not going to find anything." Sasha says with a cheeky smile.

"You got lucky," Sophia says.

"Anyway, you probably should take it easy for a few days." Sasha says.

"It's just a bruise, why are you freaking out?" Sophia snaps.

She quickly rolls her sleeve back down and moves her arm away. She gets up and heads for the stairs. Sasha ninja streaks over to them and stand in front of them to stop from leaving.

"Would you get out of my way, please?" Sophia growls through her teeth.

"No," Sasha says.

"Move unless you want me to use my powers to zap you, because I will." Sophia snaps.

"We both have the same ninja powers remember." Sophia says.

"I'm stronger than you," Sophia shouts.

Sophia readies her powers and tosses the orb towards her. Sasha jumps out of the way. Sophia ninja streaks out of the room. Sasha sees a line of silver go past her as she gets to her feet.

"I can't believe she did that," Sasha says.

Sasha figures that her sister would come back after she cooled down. She goes over to the others.

"This is odd," Cam says.

"What did you find?" Sasha asks.

"After I ran some test on Motodrone, the computer found some traces of Human DNA." Cam says.

"So you're saying that some poor civilian was mutated somehow." Sasha says in disbelief.

"Yes," Cam says.

"Is it safe to assume it's not one of Lothor's minions?" Blake asks joining the conversation.

"I don't think we should jump to any conclusions yet." Sasha says.

"Sasha is right. I still have to figure out who this guy is. The computer needs to go through the database, and that may take a few minutes." Cam says.

= Silver Lightning =

Meanwhile, with Sophia, she stopped running and decides to take a break in the same place that Motodrone was before. She figured that he would come back soon. She sits down on a cinder block and waits for him to return. Twenty minutes later she hears someone walking up, so she turns around to see Motodrone approaching. She quickly puts her morpher up to her lips.

"Guys, he's back," Sophia says calmly as she can.

"We're on the way." Hunter says.

"Don't engage him in any way." Sasha orders.

"Can I defend myself since he is going to me?" Sophia asks, with a hint of sarcasm in her tone.

"Yes, just don't do anything crazy," Sasha orders.

Sophia decides to morph. She stands in a defensive position ready for whatever is going to happen next. Back at ninja ops, the rangers get ready to morph. The computer beeps to tell them it found a match for the DNA the scan found. Sasha and Dustin mouths hang open in shock seeing that Perry is Motodrone.

"I don't believe it," Dustin says in disbelief.

"Come on, let's go get my sister." Sasha says.

Cam spin the chair around and quickly gets to his feet. They race off to Sophia's location. When they arrive the team sees that Sophia and Motodrone are nowhere to be seen. Hunter and Cam are hidden so they can go find Sophia while the others have Motodrone distracted.

"Hey, Motodrone, come out and fight," Sasha shouts.

The few seconds of silence felt like an eternity to Sasha not knowing where he was still here. The group hears a bike ride up. Sasha was relieved to see Motodrone, but she still was worried about her sister seeing the new appearance of his bike, and sees that the area that was red are now silver.

"How about a rematch," Sasha asks.

"Fine, but it's going to end the same as last time." Motodrone says confidently.

= Silver Lightning =

After Hunter and Cam watch the others ride off, they walk out from their hiding place. They run towards the building. Hunter spots Sophia connected to some crazy machine. He motions to Cam. The boys' power walk over to her.

"What took you so long?" Sophia asks

"We had to wait for the others to distract Motodrone before we rushed in so we won't be attacked," Hunter answers.

"Makes sense," Sophia says

Hunter takes the weird helmet off her head. Cam undid the straps. Then Hunter uses his right hand to fix Sophia hair by putting the stray stands back in their proper place.

"Hunter, you won't believe who Motodrone is," Sophia says

"We know. Sweetie, it's Perry," Hunter says calmly.

Sophia tries to get up, but Hunter sits her after she starts to sway from a dizzy spell.

"Sorry, you'll have to sit this one out." Hunter says.

"Okay, just be careful." Sophia says.

"You got it, and Cam will you stay here to make sure that she is okay." Hunter says.

"Sure," Cam says.

Hunter smiles and kisses Sophia on the forehead before leaving. Sophia looks over at Cam. She sees his eyes light up like a kid on Christmas morning.

"I see someone is in nerd heaven," Sophia jokes.

"Very funny," Cam smirks.

"I was turned into a human battery again. Motodrone, he used my powers to charge up that new bike and his old one too." Sophia explains.

"Well, Sophia, the good news is that the machine only took an imprint of your powers." Cam says.

"Can you figure out how to put my powers back where they belong?" Sophia asks.

"I'm positive if I redirect the power. I should have you back on your feet, in a matter of minutes." Cam says.

"Great, but what about the bike, it would be a shame not to use it – against him that is." Sophia says with a cheeky grin.

"Sounds like a good plan to me," Cam says.

Cam revered the energy flow and Sophia feels her powers returning to her. She stands up and walks over to him.

"Is the bike safe to ride?" Sophia asks.

"Yup," Cam says.

"Sweet," Sophia says, smiling.

They morph and Sophia climbs on the bike. She waits for Cam to leave before riding off.

= Silver Lightning =

Meanwhile, with the others, they group stops near cliff.

"Perry, we know it's you in there. Please let us help you," Sophia says.

"I don't want your help because Perry is gone." Motodrone says.

Zurgane shows up with some Kelzacks. He orders them to attack. Sasha tells the others to deal with the Kelzacks while she went after Motodrone. A few minutes later, Sophia and Cam comes to the rescue on her brand new Ninja Glider Cycle. Cam climbs off.

"Sophia, that bike is sweet though I'm not a fan of street bikes." Dustin says.

"Thanks Dustin, but Cam is the one who modified it." Sophia says.

She sees Motodrone blast Sasha and watches her sister fly backwards off the cliff. She transforms it into flight mode to save Sasha. She flies over to her and grabs her hand.

"Sophia, you shouldn't be here." Sasha snaps.

"I just saved you sis. You could be a little more grateful." Sophia says.

"I'm sorry sis. Thanks for the save," Sasha says.

She flies her sister to safety. Then Sasha lets go of her hand and did a flip. She lands next to the others and Sophia went after Motodrone. She destroys him with the lasers. The team demorphed runs up to the wreckage. They find Perry, who has little recollection of what happened.

"Perry, I'm glad that you're okay," Sophia says.

"Thanks Sophia, but I thought I saw you and the others as power rangers." Perry says.

"You must have been dreaming. No one would make my big sister a ranger." Sophia says.

"Hey, I would make an amazing ranger," Sasha argues.

"Whatever," Sophia says.

"You might be right Sophia. I must have been dreaming since I can't picture any of you becoming rangers." Perry says, as he walks away.

= Silver Lightning =

The team heads back to ninja ops. Everyone sits down at the table.

"I'm glad that Perry gave us his bike." Tori says.

"Yeah, it's going to be a big help fighting against Lothor." Sophia adds.

"Sophia, I'm sorry about how I acted earlier. I shouldn't have overreacted about that bruise on your elbow. "Sasha says.

"I shouldn't have run either." Sophia says.

"True, so could we just forget that while mother hen thing never happened?" Sasha asks.

"Sure, and we're not going to hug are we?" Sophia answers.

"No," Sasha says.

She quickly wraps her arm around her little sister's waist. She places her free hand on top of her head. Then she starts to mess up her hair.

"Sasha, can you stop please." Sophia whines politely.

"Okay, since you said please," Sasha says.

Sasha lets her sister go. Sophia fixes her hair using the brush in her purse. She puts it away and decides to head back to the track.

= Silver Lightning =

She walks into the garage and sees Perry working on her bike.

"I thought you would stop working on bikes." Sophia says.

"I just stopped working on any special projects." Perry says.

"That sounds like a good plan. I heard that you gave the rangers your bike." Sophia says.

"Yeah," Perry says.

"They told me that they are very grateful for your contribution to help them save the city." Sophia says.

"I'm glad to do it. You ready to get to work?" Perry asks.

"Yes," Sophia says eagerly.
