Hi you guys, has it been 11 or 12 years? I'm not sure. Just don't kill me, please.
School has sure kept me busy, that's my excuse. But it's not even an excuse, it's true and I've really been suffering from it. I miss summer.. Now, instead of doing nice things I need to do annoying, awful things. My life officially sucks. Do you feel me..? And then, when I finally got some time out, I had to visit my friend and then some relatives all the way across the country, and tomorrow (or the day after that? I don't even know, and it definitely doesn't matter) I'm going on a cruise... which doesn't sound as annoying as it's actually going to be. I just have to sit there and listen as the grownups talk about all the boring stuff. Damn it.

But the good thing is that during the 8 hour train ride I actually had time to write, and that's pretty much why I'm here now, rambling on about my very interesting life.

Anyway - thank you for the reviews again! I got a really scary one, though... from a person who does not mince words that much. But hey, who am I to judge? :D It's quite amazing actually, how some people take so much time from their lives just to bash someone's story like that. I mean, I'm all for constructive criticism, but that's a little over the top. Blame me if you want. :D

I also found out this other very interesting thing. Someone had actually stolen my story, and posted it on the Glee fanfiction category thingy. How lame is that? Why do people do this? Honestly, I just don't get it.. But it's all fine now, I guess. Thanks to charmedfan224 for letting me know!

hugefriendsfan00 - I know! :D

ReginaPhalange24 - Aw, I'm glad :) Thanks!

Blunz - YAY, Lobsters! XD I'm relieved to know that you're happy 'cause I was kinda afraid that you guys would only care about Mondler, but I'm glad I was wrong. Thank you!

The Irish Gleek - Haha XD Love triangles everywhere. Well, you'll find out if you keep on reading... I'm pretending to be mysterious when in fact I have no idea what's happening. :D But thank you very much!

Mystery Girl 911 - Aww, thank you! Yeah, that is interesting. I mean, what are the chances? XD

Nicole - Yay! XD I will, thanks!

Guest - Thank you, I try! Well, usually I just try to try... It's obviously not working very well. :D

Guest - Aww, thank you, Monica! :D We'll see how things go.

av - Well... Let's look on the bright side; at least you read the story. Yay!

Mondlercrazy0508 - Thank you so much! I'll try harder :) But studies come first, I've had to make that decision and I'm going to stick with it. Sorry.

I don't know if it's a good thing to have Rachel pregnant and bring Tag along, 'cause I think we can all agree that this is really weird. XD Don't judge me, please.
But I need to make this clear - I am going to finish this story, sooner or later. Probably later, but I'm still gonna do it. So, there's no reason to worry :)
Here's the next chapter, which is not that special.. but it's still here. :D

Chapter 29

"I just love that we're doing this together," Rachel said with a wide, utterly happy smile on her face. As Monica looked at her best friend, she realized just how different Rachel was acting now that she had everything she'd ever wanted. Monica felt happy for her, but she couldn't believe just how selfish she'd been during the darkest period of her relationship with Chandler. She had never even noticed how unhappy Rachel had actually been.

Monica forced a smile on her lips. "Me too." The smile was forced simply because she felt the familiar guilt roaming inside of her, still not leaving her alone.

Rachel - not knowing this - glanced at Monica, instantly sensing that she was tense. "Are you okay?" Rachel asked soothingly.

"Yeah, I'm fine," Monica smiled, this time putting more effort into making it real. "Let's just do this."

Rachel nodded, not really buying what her friend was saying but let it go as she also wanted to keep on shopping. They had both agreed that they needed to spend a day together, just the two of them, to completely catch up and have fun like they used to. So there they were, shopping for adorable baby clothes and other stuff.

Other than feeling guilty, Monica was also still sad about the fact that they had to move and leave everything familiar and safe behind. She was a little scared, because she didn't know how long it would take from her to adjust. Also, obviously all of their friends weren't being really supportive of this. Joey was still mad and slightly cranky, and did not want to talk about the subject. Chandler didn't know what to do about it, all he could do was to wait and give him some time. Phoebe, on the other hand, seemed to be taking it pretty well - she was looking on the bright side, as usual. Ross didn't like the idea, but Monica could tell that he had already thought about the possibility of this happening some day and knew that he would be taking the apartment. Rachel would be moving in with him, but she clearly didn't want her friends to move away. So, she just kept pretending that it was okay to her. But Monica knew that she wanted this, Chandler wanted this, and it would be the best thing for the baby. At the end of the day, that was all that mattered.

"Oh my god," Rachel laughed, and picked up a stuffed animal that had fallen on the floor.

Monica turned to look at her, and the fluffy, little dinosaur in her hands.

"I'm just glad that Ross isn't with us. He would so want this," Rachel chuckled, playing with the toy.

Monica couldn't help but grin. "For himself or the baby, what do you think?"

Rachel let out a snort. "That's hard to say," she said, and put the toy away.

They kept walking and looking around for a minute, until Monica asked: "How are things with you and Ross, again?"

Rachel smiled slightly. "Pretty great, actually," she nodded confidently. "I mean, obviously we have a lot to talk about and we need to work some things out, but I'm feeling positive. I think, this time we're really gonna make this work."

"Well, you better! I've been waiting pretty long for this, y'know," Monica smiled. "I'm really happy for you."

"Thanks. I'm happy for me too!" Rachel said. "And with Ross - it doesn't feel like it used to feel. It feels so much better now. Maybe it's because we finally know where we're heading and we've both grown so much.. I don't know, but it's amazing. It kind of feels like we've never dated before, but still we've known each other for years. Do you know?"

Monica smiled. "Yeah," she said. "Yeah, I think I do."

Rachel saw her smiling her happy, dreamy smile. "Well, as long as we're on the relationship subject.. How are you and Chandler doing?"

Monica looked at her friend for a second before answering. "Good," she said then. "We're doing really well, actually. It's just, um..."

"What?" Rachel pushed, studying her face with worry.

"I'm scared to move," Monica said, letting out a sigh.

Rachel frowned. "Why?"

"Well, you should know how scary it can be," Monica shrugged. "It's just frightening to start a completely new life."

"What are you talking about? Everything will be exactly the same," Rachel said, a little amused of her friend's concerns. "You'll just be living in a big, beautiful house."

"But I won't get to see you every day, and I don't get to make you breakfast every morning. And when Chandler's at work and I'm not, I'll be at home.. alone. I mean, don't get me wrong - I completely adore the idea of living in the suburbs, and I know Chandler does too, but how am I going to do this?"

"You're not going to be alone," Rachel assured her. "You'll be having a baby. And I will definitely come over, a lot. I mean, when this guy comes out of me, I will be there constantly. And trust me, I will make sure that you're not becoming some kind of a boring housewife who doesn't even leave the house. We can always go out on weekends, and you can come and visit us anytime."

Monica smiled slightly. "Really?"

"Of course! Come on," Rachel said and hugged her briefly.

"Thanks," Monica said, hugging her back. "And I'm sorry I've been such a crappy friend lately."

"No, that's not true," Rachel said. "And even if it was, I would totally understand. You went through a lot. I'm just happy that you and Chandler are now okay."

Monica nodded. "He, um.. He said that we can get married," she smiled. "Whenever I want."

"Really?" Rachel gasped excitedly. "Well, when is the wedding?!"

"I don't know!" Monica grinned. "I haven't really thought about it that much. Well.. I'll have to give birth first, obviously."

"Duh!" Rachel laughed along.

"I just, um.." Monica said, turning serious.

Rachel rolled her eyes. "What, do I have to drag everything out of ya?"

Monica sighed. "I don't know, does it seem like we're doing this just because of the baby?"

Rachel looked at her for a second, before laughing again. "Are you kidding?" she asked. "You've got to get this stupid idea out of your head! I mean, you do love him, right?"

"Of course," Monica nodded.

"Exactly! And we both know better than well that he loves you too," Rachel said. "And when it comes to outsiders - who cares what people think?"

Monica looked at her with a frown on her face. "Did you just say those words?" she asked, sounding surprised since Rachel was usually the one who cared the most about other people's opinions.

"Yeah, I did," Rachel said proudly. "All that matters is that you love each other, and I think it shows in every way possible."

"Aww," Monica said, hugging her friend again. "I'm gonna have to thank you for the second time today."

"Aww," Rachel hugged her back.

Just when they were about to continue shopping, Monica's cell phone rang. She dug it out of her pocket and saw something that brought a smile on her lips - it was Chandler. She answered, but before she got to say anything he was already talking.

"Hi, honey," Chandler started quickly. "Where are you? Are you still shopping?" he asked, sounding slightly out of breath.

"Hi, sweetie," Monica said. "Yeah, I'm still shopping with Rachel. Why?"

"No reason, no reason at all," Chandler said. "I just, um.. I need you to come here, okay?"

"You want me to come?" Monica shared a look with Rachel. "Is everything alright?"

"Yeah, everything's great. I just want you to see something," Chandler said, sounding like he was saying much less than he really could have. "It's kind of important," he added.

Monica looked at Rachel questioningly, and she just nodded to let Monica know that it'd be fine if she left.

"Okay, um... Yeah, I guess I can do that," Monica sighed, a little unsure. "Where are you?"

Before they hung up, Chandler gave her the address which made her even more confused. As much as she wanted to keep on shopping with Rachel, she wanted to know what was going on with Chandler.

After a cab drive that had felt like an eternity to her, Monica arrived in front of an average sized - or maybe it could be categorized as big - and beautiful house that she'd never seen before. That's when it hit her - Chandler had already found a house that he wanted her to see. But before anything, she thought about the money. She knew that Chandler had some, but they hadn't been saving for a house and they definitely could not afford to buy this one - at least with there not being fungus or something.

Her thoughts were quickly interrupted by Chandler coming out of the house, already flashing a joyful smile at her. Monica couldn't help but smile back at him, but she was still slightly bewildered by it all. She walked toward the entrance of the house, Chandler meeting her halfway.

"There you are," Chandler chuckled. "I'm glad you came."

"Of course I came," Monica said. "Now... What is this place?"

"This," Chandler started, throwing his hands in the air theatrically, "is our new home."

Monica grinned at his enthusiasm. "Really? I don't even get a say on this?"

"You always have a say on things," Chandler said. "But seriously, what do you think?"

Monica looked around. "Well, I absolutely adore the neighborhood, and I think I saw a school right down the street, so that'd be great for the kids," she said. "And I love the yard, I mean, it's just huge. I'm not used to all of this..."

"Well, get ready to get used to it, because we're moving in," Chandler said, still with a smile playing on his lips.

Monica rolled her eyes, but she was also smiling. "But doesn't this cost like, a million?"

"Let's not talk about that yet," Chandler said, pulling her by the arm. "Let's go inside."

So they went, and Monica kept looking around, observing every little detail. She automatically started planning and designing, weighing different options and changes to make the place look more like theirs. And when she saw the huge fireplace, she could already picture them living there. It almost scared her, how Chandler's dream, story, or whatever it was, came suddenly so alive right in front of her. Their family in front of the fireplace, eating the world's best cookies.

The house had several big rooms in it, and as promised - an apartment for Joey on top of the garage. Monica was simply amazed by Chandler for finding it, but he just passed the praise onto their realtor. It was a bit weird, though, because this was the first house they'd seen, and it was already so great. It was weird, but maybe it was meant to be.

After seeing the house completely, they sat down on the stairs to talk about it.

"So, you love the house, right?" Chandler said, patting Monica's knee affectionately.

"Yeah, it's awesome!" Monica smiled. "Just one quick question, though; how the hell can we afford this?"

"Well, um..." Chandler scratched his neck. "Don't freak out, okay?"

"Okay, sure," Monica shrugged.

"Just hear me out first, 'cause trust me, the ending is good..!"

Monica sighed. "Chandler?"

"Okay.. So, there's a reason why the house is quite cheap, and therefore great for our budget," Chandler started. "The thing is that there's some... Okay, a lot of fungus in the yard building and the playhouse."

Monica gasped. "In the playhouse!?"

"Yeah, but we could tear it down, just like that," Chandler said. "No one would ever know.. Except for us, of course."

Monica gave it a thought. "Really?"

"I promise," Chandler said, nodding sincerely before looking down to the ground. "But... to be completely frank, there might be some fungus in the garage, too..."

"Chandler!" Monica berated him, smacking his arm lightly.

"Yeah, I know it doesn't sound so great but we could totally fix that, right? And the bottom line is that the house itself is fine. There's nothing wrong with the house, I swear," Chandler tried, his eyes meeting hers. His were almost shining with honesty, probably showing too much of his urge to convince her.

"Okay..." Monica nodded, still a little torn between.

"Look, Mon, I know this is sudden, but..." Chandler trailed off, looking at the house with some kind of anticipation, almost desire. And with that, Monica knew they had to get this house. She could see that he loved the house so much. Obviously he couldn't say it out loud or seem too excited about it because before that, he needed to make sure that she loved it too. He was always putting her first. But this time, Monica decided to do it for him.

"Let's get the house," she said.

Chandler looked up at her with a frown on his face, not really believing his ears. "What?"

"Let's get the house," Monica repeated with a smile on her face. Suddenly she was so sure about it, with no doubt in her mind.

Chandler laughed nervously. "You're serious?"

"Yeah, I am pretty serious. It's everything that we've been looking for," Monica said. "It's everything that we want and need."

"Really?" Chandler said, literally staring at her with his mouth open.

Monica laughed at his stunned face. "Yeah, as long as it's really safe. I mean, you love it, I love it. Why not?" Monica said, causing Chandler to give her the warmest smile and then, a hug.

She was being honest. Even though the house had some flaws, she did love it, too. And knowing that Chandler loved it probably more that she did, made her love it even more. They would make it work; they always made things work, and they would be so happy in this house.

I have news for you guys... There are not that many chapters left. Less than five, I think. Can't keep this going on forever, can I?
But it's not over yet, though! And I haven't planned it that specifically so maybe there are going to be some changes and stuff... I'm pretty confused with myself. (Ha, what else is new?)

But hey, I have missed your reviews :) Maybe you could just kindly send me some..? Thank you!
