Hey everyone,
I'm kind of bumped, because no one guessed who the singers were that were referenced in the last chapter title, but I am also happy, because the more chapters of this story I post, the better this story seems to go and last chapter actually, again, helped me write down what this chapter will be about, thanks to the main character.
Hope you enjoy,

Chapter 19
Even Means Business – Part 01

Daphne's POV

It's been two days since I wrote my letter to my dad and the morning after I did, did dad actually write me back with a small note of which the text was of no more than seven words, yet these words had, for some reason, slightly worried Harry while at the same time they made me and Astoria very proud and very excited.

Talked with the Minister.
See you soon.

And while I, at first, had believed that Harry had worried about dad having spoken with Fudge, had he remained slightly worried and even looking uncomfortable after I told him how dad has been gathering evidence to prove Fudge that everything he has done this year is wrong and that dad has been doing this for him.
Sirius, however, does seem to understand the concerns of my fiancé as he lies an arm around the boy in a reassuring manner and says: "Harry, we're talking about the Greengrass family, not the Malfoys and not the Dursleys. I know Marcus and I know Allandrea, so stop your worrying. Their daughter loves you and they will love you."
And while I have no doubt that my father might find it slightly offensive that Harry was mentally comparing him to Lucius Malfoy, do the words of the man make me understand my fiancé a little better and make me smile as I hug and kiss him on the cheek to give him my own personal reassurance, Harry smiling as I do.

Yet, while the time between my letter and my upcoming meeting with my parents becomes ever shorter, do I also notice something else that has me greatly concerned, even though it comes from people I have only grown to know a little better over the course of the last couple of weeks; namely Ienzo, Even and Lea.
The latter of the three doesn't seem as badly effected as the other two, yet it's Even mostly that concerns and worries me as, whenever we take strolls through Hogwarts so that the team of mates can get used to the location they will be staying at until the move, the blonde always seems drawn to the Seventh floor corridor.

Then it's the day of me meeting my parents, yet while Harry has obviously become nervous yet again, does he not show this as he has me seated at a small square table that Professor Dumbledore has placed in front of the door to the Antechamber to give Harry, myself and our new mates in life a chance to sit together.
Merlin and Lord Gryffindor, at the other hand, have gone to sit with the teachers and Lord Gryffindor even offered to go fetch that bint Umbridge from the forest – which had made Harry turn red as he must have something to do with her being there for some time now – as well as to take her place as Defense Teacher next year.
To hear that we wouldn't have the awful woman a second year in a row, but that she would be replaced by the greatest warrior wizard of the millennium had caused for a cheer to go through the Great Hall that I just know will go down in history as the loudest as well as the happiest and that had sealed the deal.
Lord Gryffindor had negotiated with the Centaurs, who had even gone a step further by swearing fealty to the – as they gleefully said in front of Umbridge – real crown and king and while this still makes a few vengeful Gryffindors snicker, have they after that let the woman go, the woman herself leaving Hogwarts shortly after this.

And this is one bit of news I am just too excited about sharing with my parents as I know that, like many of those in their alliances, my dad really despises Umbridge and that he has been the biggest opposition to all of her ideas and laws that the woman has been trying to get through during Wizengamot meetings.
Some of them the woman actually managed to get through, yet others dad got her to drop and already do I know that, even though some of them are very vehement and even offensive to several magical creatures, they are also laws and rules that will probably fall and be called back once it becomes known that Harry is king.
I had also made sure to let Harry know about this and the boy had sworn me he would look into it come summer, but for now he just wanted to be with his mates and set a schedule for his future as both a mate of eight as well as king and because I know the boy has had so much thrown at him in so little time had I more than understood.
The other mates had also understood and this morning, I had given Harry a little tip that made sure that, regardless of my parents coming in today, Harry would have something to focus himself on so that he wouldn't be or become too nervous before their arrival, which occurs in the second half of breakfast just this morning.

The sight of my parents definitely draws many people's attention, mostly because I share my mum's beautiful looks and my father's physical power, the man standing with a stance to himself that proves he is always a man with a mission, while mum has her arm wrapped around his and a smile aimed at everyone else, proving her kind heart.
The two of them have no trouble spotting me, whereas my sister has decided to sit this one out at the Slytherin table, yet after smiling at them with great love, do I turn to Harry, who looks slightly concerned, but also in battle with himself and when he sees me nod, does this seem to end his struggle, making him smile at me.
He stands up and while my parents tilt their heads at the fact that I don't stand up with him does he move over to the Owl Stand, bringing everyone's attention to him, yet thanks to everything that happened over the last couple of years does the boy not feel bothered by this as he scrapes his throat and says:

"Everyone, I – I would like to be the first to welcome Lord and Lady Greengrass, Heirs to the Noble Line of Sir Lancelot and the Most Noble and Most Ancient House of Greengrass, to these here halls, yet I would also like to use their reason to visit us to make an declaration that concerns their daughter, myself and my other mates."
Everyone looks at the boy and Harry takes a deep breath before he says: "Some time ago now did I discover all the lines that I descend from through both my parents and I would like you all to know that, from all of my mates, we have all discussed and I have chosen five of them to share the lines with – including the royal line.
Ladies and Gentlemen, students and teachers of Hogwarts and honored guests – I have chosen – my queen." The boy speaks, making the last two words sounding like a statement, yet the only ones not shocked by this are my fellow mates, Sirius, Neville who was with us when we decided and my parents, who I wrote of this to.

Everyone then turns to the table, all of their eyes strongly curious and the eyes of every Slytherin aimed at me, but Harry seems to see this and sighs as he says: "Let it be known that, had there not been a 1000 year old feud that, even while we no longer believe in it, is still a thing outside Hogwarts, I would have chosen Daphne.
However, this feud is a thing – a fact even – and I know that there are more than enough adult Gryffindors out there who will – I am sad to admit – believe that Daphne has cursed, hexed, jinxed or otherwise manipulated me into choosing her and so, with the eye on her safety, did I decide to pick another woman as my queen.
Trust me, I know Daphne. I have spend the last few weeks with her, I have seen her work many times before the last few weeks and I even took a glance at her test results of the last few years and they prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that she would make for an excellent queen, yet the mindset of today's people will not allow this.
Because of this –." Here Harry sighs and for the first time since my parents decided to come visit, do I feel as if Harry is planning something I don't know about, which I get proven true as Harry strongly says: "Because of this have I contacted Gringotts and have I put it in my will that my first child of Daphne is to follow up as queen."

This shocks me to the death, my eyes wide and my mother even gasping, while dad's head tilts back to show his shock, yet the strong look on Harry's face proves his words not just as truth, but that he is determined to see this part of his will become reality, something that makes me feel teary eyed with love for the young king.
Then Blaise is the first to react to this as he stands up and starts to applaud, a truly large grin on his usually passive face as he does so and Professors Snape, Dumbledore and McGonagall follow the teen before they themselves get followed by Harry's friends over at Gryffindor and finally the whole hall starts to cheer at this news.
And the smile that is on Harry's face as he watches over a part of what will soon be his people, the students of Hogwarts and my parents, make me feel like leaking a tear as I can see a real leader and king stand at the stand, the happiness he feels at hearing the joy of his people proving how well he will care for them in future events.

Then Harry raises his arms and at seeing this does everyone calm down, many of Harry's friends and my own still with large smiles on their faces to prove how happy they are for us both and then Harry takes another deep breath and say: "Thank you all. I can only hope you will give an equal sized welcome to my newly chosen queen."
Yet instead of giving the name to his people, does Harry turn to us all and does he reach out an arm, signing his queen to come to him and to the elation of everyone at my table does Aqua, who had decided to wear a dress-version of her usual outfit just for today's event, stand up and move over to our united mate.
The sight of the blue-haired woman who seems to be between Harry's age and that of the teachers shocks some of those around us and Harry happily takes her hand in his before he says: "I have chosen Aqua as my queen because, from day 1, I could see that this is a woman who will fight with her heart to see those she enclosed in her heart.
I have also learned about her that she easily takes a bucket load of people in her heart and that, if you are caring yourself and you have, say, lost a pencil, she will care for you and take you into her heart. Because of this and because of the determination I can see shining in her eyes to do the right thing, have I chosen her as my queen.
Aqua is caring, heartfelt, truthful, determined, strong with magic and is not afraid to get her hands dirty to see a task completed. She is a firm believer of Light and Darkness and just by looking at her, do I know she has seen the worst and works to get the best out of everyone and because of that, do I believe her the perfect candidate.

I really hope that, as time passes and events progress that will prove what I have said to be true, you will see that I have made the right choice and support me in this. I have chosen this, not because I want someone I can agree with as my queen, but because I want the best person to care for a large number of people – and Aqua fits that bill."
By now the woman herself is quite red, having obviously not expected for Harry to defend his case by complimenting her so, yet it seems as if the woman won't need any time to pass or any events to occur for the people to believe her king as everyone is by now having large and excited grins on their faces, before they again start to applaud.
This time the first to start doing so are both Susan Bones as well as Hannah Abbott and my own mother and the other Hufflepuffs as well as my father are the first to follow them before the whole Great hall is again cheering the clouds out of the enchanted ceiling, Aqua redder than a ruby as she bows to her new people.

Harry then softly kisses her, placing the kiss on the very tip of her lips as the two of them have yet to share a real kiss with each other and, quite like everyone bar Lea who has already had this pleasure, do both of them want to some really special time or place before they do so and then the woman goes back to join us at our table.
Harry then turns back to the people and kids around a little as he says: "Now I know that these titles don't influence the rest of you as much as the royal one, but I would still like to share with you who will share my other titles with me. So please bare with me for a few more minutes." Which makes many students snicker or laugh.

Harry smiles at this and then breaths out before he says: "For those who know my family line – the Potter Line – will it probably not come as any shock or surprise that my heart has chosen Lea as my Potter mate, something I decided right the day I met him, as I am sure you have seen from when we first locked eyes."
This mostly makes the adults around us and a few of the more Light-sides Purebloods smile, yet Lea seems not to take it for granted that Harry only mentions him as he – as we've learned to call it – phases over to the boy and while Harry lets out a startled yelp, does Lea grasp him around the waist and silences him with a kiss.

And what a kiss it is, as Lea practically seems to be using his key element – fire – to smolder Harry's heart to cinders with the love the redhead apparently feels for our mate and while this draws many gasps and shocked eyes, does Harry happily surrender himself to the heat of his mate, wrapping his arms around the man's neck.
Yet the kiss is not to last as the first catcalls from a stray Ravenclaw Sixth year makes the two break apart and while Harry looks dazed, does Lea whisper something in his ear that makes the boy turn a nice shade of red himself before the redhead phases back to our table, seating himself at his seat as if nothing ever happened.

The sight of the redhead looking this self-confident draws Harry from his dazed state and while he huffs at the man, does he then scrape his throat and say: "As you can tell, Lea is my Dominant mate and I am very happy with him by my side. He will do not just my father, but also my temperamental mother very proud."
This makes the smirk vanish off the redhead's face and be reformed on Harry's, our future king very happy to have won this out-of-nowhere battle of wits and after some of the older students got over their amusement at the sight of this and after my parents have taken a seat at our table themselves does Harry go on and say:

"The next line that I have decided to share is the Gryffindor Line. Yes, Lord Godric has already confirmed it with me and I also have a Heritage Potion paper to prove this, but I am indeed an Heir to both Gryffindor through my father, as well as Ravenclaw through my mother. And anyone who knew my mother can confirm her intelligence."
To this many of the teachers nod, while the students are shocked at hearing this and then Harry says: "For the Gryffindor line have I chosen Terra and for the Ravenclaw Line have I chosen Even. Even is a man that thinks everything through, yet more often than not thinks with his heart and Terra – well, his name says it all."
To this the man himself smirks whereas he had been smiling in solid agreement with Harry when the boy had been promoting his choice for Aqua as queen, yet it seems as if Harry speaking of Even as his choice is what the Nobody needed as he stands up and says: "Harry, I would like to prove myself worthy of title."
And with that, while Harry had opened his mouth to further explain his choices, does the boy shut his mouth and look at the blonde with the long bangs showing off his face, the others also looking at the man, yet one look at the former scientist and Nobody says it all; Even wants to prove himself and Even means business.

But what about?
Well, that's for next chapter and part of me feels bad for leaving you all like this but GOOD GOD, this story took me even longer than Destiny's Saying did. I opened this story up a hundred and one times and had to close it somewhere between the start and the letter from Lord Greengrass another eighty and one times.
Now, next chapter will create one thing and it will also prove something. How BADLY I want a Harry Potter world in the Kingdom Hearts series. It will be a very strong reference to the first Kingdom Hearts game, but it will also, as I said, make sure Harry will not have to be the child of a fake prophesy any longer.
Enjoy the chapter,
