NYLON ~ 65 ~ WE'RE NOT DONE YET
The tropical breeze blew in through the open window carrying the sound of the morning birds and the water lapping up on the shore. Hanna stirred and rolled over in bed pressing her head against Caleb's chest. His strong hands brushed her cheek moving aside a few strands of hair.
"I love you," he whispered.
"I love you, too," Hanna twisted the sparkling ring on her finger. She felt Caleb's stomach groan by her ear. "You hungry?"
"Starved," he said getting up and gently helping her off of him.
They put in an order for room service and got dressed while they waited. Caleb ran to answer when heard a knock at the door allowing a hotel staff member to roll in a cart filled with their breakfast. Hanna poured herself a cup of tea and sat down across from Caleb.
"This looks delicious," she said sitting down and grabbing a cup with fruit and yogurt.
"What are we doing today?" he asked.
"I wanted to get a tan," she replied, "and maybe just enjoy the beach, but I also want to call my mom and JT."
"I have to get a little bit of work done," he told her tentatively, "but I'll take care of it really quickly and then I'll meet you there."
"Fine," she sighed giving him a hard time. Then she kissed him and picked up her breakfast. "I will take this to go so you can get started."
He laughed and watched her pick up a towel and slip out through the patio door. Hanna dragged a lounge chair into the sun and threw off her dress before slathering herself in sunscreen. She put on her sunglasses and then laid out ready for the morning rays slowly drifting off to sleep.
Just as the sun was rising directly above her, she felt a tap on her shoulder. She opened her eyes to see Caleb blocking the sun.
"Hey," she smiled as he sat down next to her. "All done?"
"Done," he replied. "Now I can spend all of my time with you."
"It better be," she said as he kissed her gently. His hands wandered down her sides and she slowly lifted his shirt. Caleb threw his shirt to the ground and bent down to whisper in her ear.
"I'll race you to the beach," he whispered as he tugged at her bikini tie before bolting for the shoreline.
"Caleb!" she shrieked as she struggled to tie her top back on. She strapped herself back in and ran after Caleb jumping on his back second before he reached the water.
"It's a tie," he laughed hoisting her up and carrying her into the waves.
"Let me go!" she yelled kicking him.
"Fine!" he said dropping her into the water.
Hanna squealed as she hit the waves. She finally stood up and scraped her hair into a knot on top of her head. She slipped her arms around Caleb's neck teasing him as her lips danced across his clavicle. Then, without warning, she brought him down to her level before pulling him down into the water with her.
"Not fair!" he laughed finally standing up again. Then he grabbed her waist. "Come here."
Caleb planted his lips on hers and pulled her in for a kiss.
Hanna laid on a lounge chair next to Caleb. Their skin glistened with small drops of water. She leaned across a sleeping Caleb to grab her water glass from the table next to him. She took a sip and set it back down just before Caleb grabbed her and she sprawled down on top of him.
"Hey," she laughed as she landed on Caleb. "I thought you were sleeping."
"You woke me up," he said. "I think you owe me."
"Owe you what?" she asked.
"A kiss," he smirked.
"Okay," she obliged kissing him quickly. Caleb's lips wandered across her collarbone and down her chest leaving soft kisses that gave her goose bumps. "Stop. We're in public."
"Don't mind them," he replied. "I want you. Right here."
"Caleb, no," she sat up.
"Okay," he sighed resting his hands on her bare legs. "Now that we're married, you're really pulling in the reigns."
"Oh, come on," she laughed. "You'll be eating your words later…in the bedroom."
"Fuck," he laughed. Then he smirked. "Have you thought about having more kids before JT gets too old?"
"Having kids is a big reason why we broke up in the first place," she reminded him. "I don't know if it's the best idea."
"I always wanted a brother," Caleb replied. "I want JT to have a sibling too."
"I had Kate as a step-sister," Hanna reminded him. "I'm not too fond of siblings."
"That's different," he replied. "If we had another kid, JT would have someone to grow up with."
"I won't dismiss the idea completely," she replied, "but I think we need to tread carefully. I don't want to make the same mistakes again."
"I wasn't able to be part of the whole experience when you had JT," he explained. "I feel like I missed out and I kind of want to be able to start a family with you in the future."
"Let's wait until JT's a little older before we make that decision," she told him.
"Or," Caleb picked her up, "we could start now."
"Caleb!" she squealed as he carried her into the bedroom.
Ignoring her restlessness, Caleb held tightly to Hanna and grabbed her neck pulling her in for a kiss. She squirmed but finally wrapped her arms around him and gave in. Caleb placed her on the dresser and pulled the ties on her bikini top. It slid off and his lips went straight to her chest sucking gently along her soft skin. His mouth was now dangerously close to her weak spot and she could feel the tension building.
"Fu—" she moaned gripping tighter at Caleb's waist.
"Don't get too ahead of yourself," he whispered amping up the foreplay as she tugged at the knot on his board shorts. "We're not done yet Mrs. Rivers."
Hanna bit down on her lip as Caleb's lips finally connected with her nipple eliciting a shiver down Hanna's spine.
I apologize if I didn't make this clear, but they did elope so they're married now and this chapter was their honeymoon. I hope you enjoyed it but I must ask for a small favor. With school starting up again and people getting busier, I know this website isn't as busy. I've got about 80% of this story done and I'm happy with it, but there's still a lot of work to do if I'm going to publish it.
On a personal note, I'm moving next month and I'm starting a new job and going back to school (I know! It's a lot) so I'll have much less time to work on this story, however, if I get the support of 20 readers, I will continue regular updates. PM or leave a review to let me know you're still reading (even if it's just a smiley face) and I'll be sure to keep doling out new material. I apologize for the ultimatum, but I just want to make sure my chapters are actually being read, and not just published for nothing.
To those who have been loyal readers, thanks for the awesome support and feedback. If for some reason I decide to abandon this project, message me, and I'll be sure to send you my rough draft of the rest of this story so you'll at least have some sense of closure!
