NYLON ~ 69 ~ CHALLENGE ACCEPTED

JT ran through the house leading a band of misfits wearing face paint and carrying big colorful balloons. Hanna smiled at their cheery face as she finished cleaning up small plates loaded with discarded frosting cake crumbs. She turned around and found Caleb standing behind her with an outstretched trash bag.

"Thanks," Hanna smiled tossing the garbage away.

"So," Caleb smiled. "Looks like everyone is having fun."

"Yeah," Hanna replied. "Good turnout."

"Han," Spencer tapped her on the shoulder. "I think we're going to take off. Victoria is getting cranky."

"Oh, I'm glad you made it," Hanna told her.

"Thanks for another great party," Spencer gave her a hug before sneaking off to find Toby.

"So," Caleb took Hanna's hand, "looks like a great turnout."

"Not bad for a two year old," she smiled.

"He's got a lot of friends," Caleb laughed. "Just like his mother."

"As long as he doesn't make any friends like Mona," Hanna replied.

Caleb tried not to get caught smirking and then continued to help Hanna clean up the kitchen. Meanwhile, many of their guests' parents stopped by to pick up their young children. Before they knew it, Hanna and Caleb were nearly alone except for their closest friends.

"Alright," Aria gathered up her kids. "We better get home. We're seeing your grandparents in the morning."

"Bye sweetie," Hanna kissed Daisy's forehead and walked them out to the door. Emily was close behind with Ali and Ben in tow.

"We have a little problem," Emily told her.

"What's that?" Hanna asked.

"Ben and JT insist on a sleepover," Emily explained. "Is that okay with you?"

"As long as Ben doesn't mind cake for breakfast," Hanna joked. "We'd love to have him over and that means I get to see you tomorrow."

"I might have a better idea," Emily offered. "Ben's got a new video game system. Maybe JT can come with us...and I still get to see you tomorrow."

"You know," Hanna smiled, "that would actually be amazing because we have a lot of cleaning up to do here."

On that note Hanna packed a small overnight bag for JT and handed him off to Emily. Then she and Caleb got to work cleaning up after the large party. Only two hours and seven trash bags later, they finally collapsed on the couch and propped their feet up on the ottoman.

"So," Caleb stroked her arm gently, "we've got the place to ourselves..."

"I know," Hanna turned to him. "We can stay up all night watching Law and Order reruns and eating ice cream."

"Or," he grazed his fingers along the hem of her shirt, "we can..."

Hanna bit her lip and batted her eyelashes at him. Caleb couldn't resist. His hand slipped under her top as he kissed her lips. Hanna slid a hand around his neck and pulled him close to deepen the kiss. Their arms hastily searched one another in a desperate attempt to remove every piece of clothing that lingered between them. Caleb finally managed to slide Hanna's top off. Then he lifted her to her feet and they stumbled back to the bedroom leaving behind a trail of polyester blend.

"Caleb Fu –" Hanna breathed as they fell onto the bed.

He shut her up with a kiss and she laid back against the pillows. Caleb's hands landed on either side of her waist and kissed just below her belly button. His lips made their way south causing a shiver to run through Hanna. Her hips buckled allowing a smile to cross Caleb's face.

"Aren't you pleased with yourself," she smirked. "The job's not done yet."

"Challenge accepted," Caleb replied.

"Wait," Hanna said turning them over so she was on top. "Now let's see what you can do."

"Come here," he guided her hips as she lowered herself onto him.

Hanna laid on Caleb's chest with her hair strewn across the pillows. Their hearts beating in sync as they caught their breaths. Hanna traced the outline of a heart on his abs and the gentle caress tickled Caleb. He fought the urge to chuckle as he moved her hand away.

"Hey," Caleb turned to her, "can we talk about something?"

"Anything," Hanna rolled over and kissed him gently.

"I've been thinking," he told her, "that maybe JT would like a little brother."

"I have an idea!" Hanna joked. "There's a really cute kid two floors down. You distract the nanny and I'll coax him with an ice cream cone."

"Ha ha," Caleb smiled. "That's not exactly what I was thinking."

"Is this really about JT?" Hanna asked. "Or is it you who wants another kid."

"A little of both," he replied. "I mean, JT's great and all but we weren't ready then. I think we deserve a chance to do this right. Without the Wrens and Andrews of this world butting in all the time. We finally have a chance to be a real family."

"Are we not a real family?" she asked. "And what about your indiscretion with Olivia?"

"That was hardly anything," Caleb protested. "It doesn't matter anyway. You're twisting my words."

"You know what," Hanna sighed. "Forget I brought up Olivia. There's no use dwelling on the past."

"Then let's talk about the future," Caleb suggested. "Let's have another baby."

"I don't think it's a good idea," Hanna replied.

"Why are you so against it?" he asked. "I just want to understand."

"Don't you remember how I was before?" she reminded him. "I was a mess after JT was born. We fell apart completely."

"That won't happen again," Caleb assured her. "We're married now. Things are different. We're different."

"I don't know," Hanna sighed rolling over so her back was to him.

Caleb took this as a cue to drop the conversation and Hanna felt him sliding further away from her. She stared intently at the wall. Caleb was right. JT needed a little brother, but she wasn't sure that she was prepared to give that to him.
