Hey guys. So, I'm back. :) Sorry that I've been gone so freaking LONG... but I've decided to continue this. I hope you still are interested in this one.

And let me know what you think?

... .. ... .. ...

"Walt! Walt! What the hell?! You can give her the electric shocks, but don't let her die! She must not die! Make sure she does not die! We need her alive, damn it! We need her to give us the information first!"

.

When Catherine came to, she felt an ache in her neck. As her eyes slowly fluttered open, she noticed that she was lying on a desk.

"Who's desk is this?" She asked, while she sat up with a start.

"Hey, hey. Take it easy." Tess said, sounding genuinely concerned.

"What happened, Tess?" Cat asked, as her eyes scanned her surroundings, her eyes landing on a certain detective.

"Cat, the paramedics are on their way. Just stay down, sweetie."

At that, Cat furrowed her brows." What? No! I'm not going to the hospital again!" She protested, and attempted to get off the desk.

Tess rolled her eyes at her, and helped her friend, because it was no use trying to stop her. She was that stubborn!" OK, take it easy. I'll help you, just try to act less stubborn, OK?"

"I'm stubborn?" Cat retorted, and carefully got on her feet. They were a little wobbly, but stubborn as she was, Cat acted like nothing was wrong.

The others that had gathered around Cat looked at her, asking if she was fine." I'm fine, you guys. Let me get some fresh air, OK?"

At that, Cat walked straight towards the detective called Walt Morris.

"Hi, I'm Cat. And you are?" she said, as she introduced herself.

The man smiled and said." Hi, I'm Walter Morris."

As Cat shook his hand, the hairs on the back of her neck immediately stood up. It was then, when she inhaled that repulsive scent of his... that familiar cologne. Though Cat wanted nothing more than to interrogate this man, she knew that she couldn't do just that. She knew she had to have proof first. If he was one of the men who had kidnapped and tortured her, she had to find out more about him. At the moment the only thing linking this man to her kidnapping, was his cologne. She couldn't exactly walk up to her boss and say.

' You know detective Morris? He was one of the men who had kept me against my will, and I know that because he's wearing that same cologne the kidnapper wore.'

Her boss would think that she had completely lost it. No, she had to take her time and investigate carefully. Cat didn't remember much of that awful experience, but she did remember the electric shocks, that cologne, that first name, that excruciating pain she felt, and nothing more. She didn't remember any faces though.

"So, Cat. You've met Morris." Tess said, while looking at the man, and smiled at him.

"Yes, I've met Catherine." Morris stated, and looked at Tess while his eyes roamed all over her.

Seeing him do that, made Cat feel like she wanted to throw up." I'm gonna get some fresh air, OK?"

Without waiting for Tess' answer, Cat hurriedly walked out the precinct, after grabbing her bag. The second she was outside, tears had pooled in her eyes. Without thinking she ran towards her car, opened it in a hurry, got in and locked the doors. The second she felt like nothing or no one could get to her, Catherine let it all out. A gut wrenching sob escaped her lips, as she remembered the way she had been tortured. Her whole body trembled, thinking of the way Morris had looked at Tess, like he was undressing her with his eyes. What more had her kidnappers done to her? Had they violated her when they held her captive? What more did they do?

Catherine sobbed uncontrollably, and at that moment she felt so filthy and powerless." God, please help me." she whispered.

At that, Catherine wiped away the tears and decided to wash away the filth on her body. That's what she wanted and needed to do this instant. Wash all the filth away...

She started the car, and sped away towards her apartment. The second she entered her living room, Cat hastily began taking off her clothes. She was having a panic attack, and felt the only thing that would make her feel better is to wash away the filth. As she stepped into the shower, she hastily turned the shower on and began scrubbing her whole body with soap. But the more she scrubbed and washed, the worse she felt.

Never in her life had Cat felt like this." I have to wash away, wash it all away!" She sobbed, while scrubbing herself till her skin turned pink.

"Catherine." She heard a voice say, making her jump up.

It was Vince." Are you OK?" he asked, the tone of his voice calm.

"I have to wash it all away! The filth on my body! I have to wash it away." she replied, as she sobbed loudly, while scrubbing her body roughly.

Vincent's heart ached tremendously at that moment. It pained him so much to see the love of his life in this unstable state. Tears had pooled in his eyes, but acted strong in front of her. She needed his help, so he had to be the strong one now. He slowly, and carefully walked over to her, not wanting to stress her more.

"Hey, Catherine. Can I join you?" he asked, as he smiled at her.

She didn't react though, and kept scrubbing. Vince stepped into the shower with his clothes still on, and gently put a hand on her upper arm." Hey, you're clean, sweetie. You don't have to scrub anymore. You're clean, see?"

At that, Cat looked up at him." No." she said, and shook her head furiously." I'm not. I have to wash it away! I have to!"

Vincent swallowed his tears, and gently placed both his hands on the sides of her face, making her lock eyes with him." Cat, babe. You're clean, OK? Why don't we get out of the shower. What do you say?"

Cat shook her head, and whispered." I feel dirty, and so filthy. How can you even look at me?! How can you love me after what they have done to me? I don't understand!"

As those gut wrenching words reached Vincent's ears, his heart broke into a million pieces. At that moment, he knew that she had a long way to go...

Physically? Well, physically Catherine was in good health. And she was home and safe with him, her sister, her friends, basically the people who love her.

But mentally? Mentally, she wasn't home and wasn't safe, because in her mind Cat was still being held captive by her kidnappers...
