New chapter because I have nothing to do in the summer holidays but make giant smile face chats with Foxface on facebook.

Odin's dead, the message slowly processes in my head, till I finally accept that I'm alone. I want to end it, to lose the game, to die and be with him, with Saffron, not alone in the frozen hell of the arena. The only thing stopping myself from joining them is the promise to Saffron on in her death that I would give her token to her friend and my mission to stop Rose and Poppy from facing the arena. I look at the sky, it's about two hours till midnight, two hours till I'm with the other at the starting arena of the games. I begin walking in the dim light of the moon, thinking of the blood that tonight will turn the pure white snow crimson. The night if looked at from afar without knowing what happens in the games would be beautiful, but knowing four more children have to die makes the place ugly under it's beauty. I touch the feather, my only connection to home, my last piece of hope from my friends, my last piece of innocent from the games. The rusting chain feels a tiny bit warm against my skin a remaining object of times before Panem, before the Capitol had control of everything. The golden tail of the Cornucopia comes into view, when I look up I discover that it's almost midnight, the silver orb in the sky is almost at it's highest and the feast is about to begin. I stay on the outskirts of the jungle, looking out at the field that we started in, that all the killing started in. The snow on the ground right next to the Cornucopia begins to shake and gets pushed off by the force, the ground grass gets pulled down under the rest of it and quiet mechanical noises can be heard in till the ground reappears covered in winter coats, and backpacks that must be stuffed with food and medical supplies. I run, the other tributes will be on my tail but if I can get to the pile first, I can get what I need and escape before they kill me. I make it to the pile, I don't know who's close all I think about is getting the supplies, I need to get a coat and some food. I find the coat that's my size and put it on, and begin to try to find a food pack. "Finally," a voice says from behind, "I will get revenge for what happened to my brother." I turn and she Layla holding a long curved sword and wearing a coat that she either got from sponsors or from the pile. I begin to walk backwards, hoping I don't bump into someone or something. I reach for a knife from my belt and hold the wooden handle of the weapon in my good arm. I'm about to attack when it happens, when the girl runs out of the trees and jumps in front of the sword just before it's forced into her stomach. I'm shocked at first and I can tell that Layla is to, but apart from a small cut on her leg she's unharmed. The girl on the ground s saying something and I take a second to listen to her,
"I'm so sorry Fio." That's what she said before the cannon boomed around the arena, I see a small knife in her hand covered in a yellowish liquid. Poison, I look at the on Layla's leg as she falls to the food. I know that the moments she has left are going to be painful I put the knife I'm holding into her heart to end her pain and let another cannon boom. After I get the knife out of her body I find a small backpack, a medic pack one dried fruit bread and a small pack of meat. I put it on my shoulder and run back into the cover of the trees, trying to forget to events that happened moments ago. At least I'm not going to freeze, yet anyway. As the moment passes I look up at the sky the moon hasn't moved an inch, the Gamemakers are keeping us in the dark. The final deathmatch is about to start, if I or anyone is ready is a different story. No matter how when trained you are you're never really for anything in the games.

The final deathmatch is going to happen, and NO ONE knows who's going to win. The last moments story first chapter will be up later today, if your wonder who Fio is you will find out soon enough, right Fox.
