The rain poured and poured, the sound of thunder blocking out any other sound as two lovers embraced under the light of a streetlamp. The girl buried her head deep into the guys toned chest, her body wracked with sobs as the guy looked stonely ahead, his arms limp around the girl's quivering form until coming to life in a strong hold around the girl's waist, his nose burying into the girl's hair.

The two forms came closer and closer, both not wanting to let go, but knowing that it was inevitable. Slowly, the two separated before leaning their heads closer. Inch by inch, their lips moved. The girl bit her lips in anticipation as the boy started to close his eyes. Their lips met in a slow, shy kiss, pouring their pent up feelings into that first kiss.

The screen faded to black

Lucy couldn't help but bawl as Natsu lead the crying teen away.

"Man, why did I let you talk me into this," Natsu mumbled, bringing his scaled scarf to hide his face as he quickly maneuvered the two out of the movie theatre.

"T-Th-ey w-were so meant to be," Lucy choked out while dabbing her eyes with a napkin. "It's your own fault, Levy couldn't go and you wanted to go 'see the stupid movie with me'," Lucy finished, her face scrunched up in an angered pout.

"You didn't tell me it was a stupid love movie," Natsu protested with a blush, only earning a heated glare from the blonde.

"The title of the movie is 'Lost in Love'! Did you think it was going to be about ninjas or something?" Lucy shouted as the two left the brightly lit movie theater. Natsu remained silent, burying his flushed face deeper into his scarf. Seeing the teen go red, Lucy couldn't help but giggle at her friend's expression.

"It isn't funny, Luce," Natsu protested weakly, releasing the brown eyed girl's hand and shoving his hands into the pockets of his baggy jeans.

"S-sorry Natsu," Lucy laughed out, trying to calm herself before jogging quicker to catch up with the retreating salmon haired teen, "We can watch the movie you wanted to see next time. You know, the one with the magic and flying blue cat."

"Really? You want to see Fairy Tail with me? I thought you didn't like action films," Natsu questioned sceptically. In response, Lucy shrugged as she kept pace.

"Well, you saw a movie you didn't want to see, so I'll go and see one with you. It's only even, after all. Who knows, I might even like it." Natsu's dark green eyes gleamed happily before his face spread wide into a grin.

"It's a date."

Now going red in the face, Lucy averted her eyes and kept her head down as the two cut through the streetlamp lit park.

"You dork, don't say things like that. We're just going to see a movie," Lucy laughed nervously, speeding up a little so the two were no longer side by side.

"You're weird, Luce. Isn't that what I said?" Natsu questioned innocently, running past the blonde so he was able to walk backwards in front of her.

"I'm not weird!" Lucy shouted before clasping her mouth shut with her hands. Hearing no shouts, the blonde let her hands drop with a sigh, only to glare at Natsu once he started cracking up.

"Be quiet, Natsu! People are sleeping," Lucy hissed before going into a fit of giggles herself. It wasn't long until the two reached Lucy's home and had to quiet down or wake the dreadful landlady.

"This was fun. Even though you didn't like it, I'm glad you came, Natsu," Lucy blushed while getting her keys out.

"It wasn't that bad," Natsu shrugged before leaning forward. Confused and a bit startled, Lucy froze in mid-reach and stared into Natsu's green eyes.

"The movie comes out next week, alright." Moving too fast for Lucy to keep up with, the teen left Lucy with a quick peck on her cheek and a left without another word, his face bright with a childlike grin as he quickly departed. Stunned, Lucy slowly lifted her hand to rest against her cheek, her mouth agape as her brown eyes followed Natsu's retreating form.

"Farewell, farewell, until we meet again," Lucy mumbled, startled by the sudden quote from the movie. "Stupid Natsu, he shouldn't be doing stuff so out of the blue."

Oh wow, yay. I knew procrastination from schoolwork would be good for me. Haha, in all seriousness though, I really missed writing, did you guys miss me? So how was it? Leave a thought before you go and thanks for reading. Fairy Tail belongs to Hiro Mashima. This was writing for the long passed Nalu Week in July, but never late then never, right.
