For the third night in a row, Will is summoned to Gabi's.

"She keeps screaming, Will," Gabi explains, exasperated. "I just don't know what to do."

Will doesn't feel like saying 'i told you so' to Gabi, but it's exactly what he predicted. Arianna wants to be with her father and she is inconsolable to everyone else but him.

Will walks into his daughter's bedroom as soon as he gets to the apartment. He could hear her wailing from the hallway.

"Thank God you're here!" Gabi exclaims.

Will smiles weakly at Gabi. As soon as Arianna sets eyes on her father, she instantaneous stops crying. Her face brightens and she smiles happily at her father.

"Daaaaaddy!" She exclaims, bounding into his arms.

"Hey, baby girl," Will whispers into her hair.

Will sits in the rocking chair next to Arianna's bed with his daughter in his arms. Within a couple of minutes of rocking and singing to her, she is out. Will gently places her in bed and places a light kiss on her forehead.

"We need to talk," Will says, when he meets Gabi in the living room.

"I know," Gabi sighs.

"This is the third day this week I have had to put her to sleep because she is so upset. Gabi, we can't keep doing this."

"I know," Gabi whispers, sadly. "Don't you think I know that."

"Okay. So what would you like to do?"

"As much as I hate this, I think we both know the best solution for our daughter."

"Wait. Are you saying what I think you are saying?"

"Yes, Will. Okay? Yes," Gabi replies, annoyed. Then angrily states,"You were right all along. Are you happy now? Our daughter loves you more. So you win. Okay? You win."

"Am I happy? Are you kidding me? This was never a competition. There is not a winner here. This whole thing sucks, Gabi. It does."

"You're only saying that because, yet again, you win. You are right. I was wrong. Congratulations."

"Stop making this about you. About us. This is about our daughter. That is it."

"Whatever, Will. And just so you know, this will only be temporary. I refuse to let you have full custody of her. To have you take her away from me."

"Gabi, do you really think I would do that to you? To Arianna?"

"Yeah," Gabi says, cooly, glaring at Will. "That is exactly what I think you would do."

"Then you clearly don't know me very well. I would never take you away from our daughter. And I would never take Arianna away from her mother. That's why I have never fought this custody agreement. I have been doing my best to make sure this arrangement is best for her. Even when it kills me when she is here with you. But I do it for her."

"That's right. You're the selfless one and I'm the selfish one."

"I never said that," Will replies, exasperated.

"You didn't have to, Will. But it's clearly what you think. You think I am this terrible mother, don't you? You never stop throwing my mistakes in my face, do you?"

"I don't even know what you are talking about," Will replies, incredulously. "Do you think you are a bad mother?"

Gabi looks at Will, in shock. Then tears well up in her eyes and she whispers,"Why can't i love her like you do, Will?"

This comment takes Will aback. He was not expecting this response and had no clue what to say. Will had no clue Gabi even felt this way. But now everything is beginning to make sense to him. Her anger towards him. The fact that she made everything so hard for him boiled down to one thing. She hated that she wasn't the mother that she thought she should be. And she hated it even more that Will was a better parent than she thought she could ever be.

Will walks over to Gabi and pulls her in his arms. "Gabi, you are doing the best you can. Ari loves you no matter what. And I know you are being the best mother than you can be."

"You make it look so simple," Gabi explains through tears. "You give up so much and you don't seem to mind. A part of me hates her for making me change my life. And I know that makes me a horrible person. A horrible mother. And I don't want to feel this way, Will. I hate that I feel like this."

"I know, Gabi," Will says, softly. "This just makes you human. That's all. You love Ari. I know that and she knows that. And that is all that matters, okay?"

Gabi nods her head. "I was so happy these last few weeks. And I feel so guilty now. I was so happy because I didn't have to deal with the responsibility of raising a child. Why is it so easy for you, Will?"

"It's not easy. It's really hard, actually. But for me, Arianna is worth everything I have to give up. Because she makes my life have meaning. She makes my life whole."

"Then why can't I feel like that?" Gabi whispers, pulling back from Will.

"I don't know, Gabi. I honestly don't know."

"Sooooooonny!" Arianna calls out, bounding into the coffee house.

"Hey, sweetie," Sonny replies, kneeling down to meet Ari and then hugging her. "What are you doing here?"

Will grabs Sonny's apron strings from behind and pulls his boyfriend to him, smiling. Sonny turns around to find his smiling boyfriend, who softly kisses him hello. Sonny cups Will's face with his hands, looking into his boyfriend's deep, blue eyes.

"Hi," Will whispers.

"Hi, yourself," Sonny smiles. "I've missed you."

"Mmmm. I missed you, too."

"By the way, she's with me," Will smiles, teasingly.

"Okay, so...What? How? I thought Gabi had her?" Sonny asks, confused.

"We had a long talk last night."

"And?" Sonny asks, impatiently.

"I will tell you the whole story later. But she's letting Ari stay with me for the time being."

"Will, that's amazing!" Sonny exclaims and pulls his boyfriend into a hug, wrapping his arms tightly around Will's neck. "But why?"

"Because she would just scream and cry all day until I came. And after three days of that, Gabi couldn't handle it."

"I didn't realize it was that bad."

"Yeah. I don't know how things are going to work out down the road, though."

"You mean with custody of Ari?"

"Yeah. I have no clue where Gabi's head is at. But I don't really want to talk about this right now in front of her."

"No. I get it."

"How about you come over for dinner tonight and I can tell you the whole story?"

"That sounds amazing," Sonny smiles at Will.

"We need to get going. I have to put all of Ari's things away and start working on dinner."

"Well, that was a short visit," Sonny pouts.

"I wish I could stay longer. How about I make up for it tonight? We can have so much alone time once we put Ari to bed," Will whispers into Sonny's ear.

"Hmmm. I like the sound of that," Sonny replies, softly.

Arianna tugs on Sonny's pants and motions to him to pick her up. Sonny lifts the little girl in his arms and she whispers something in Sonny's ear. Sonny nods his head and smiles.

"By the way, my favorite meal is lasagna," Sonny whispers to Will.

"Oh, really. That's pretty lucky. Because that's what Ari has been begging me for."

Arianna starts giggling. "Yup!"

"Let me guess, you are the mastermind behind this, aren't you?" Will laughs and begins tickling his daughter.

Arianna starts writhing and laughing in Sonny's arms. "Maybe."

"You are lucky you are so adorable," Will smiles at his daughter and ceases the tickling.

Arianna looks over at her dad and smiles. "Sana tonight!"

"Yes, we can have lasagna tonight. And I will see you around 6?"

"Make it closer to 6:30."

"Okay."

Sonny hands off Ari to Will, then places a soft kiss on Will's lips.

"I want more of this tonight," Sonny whispers to Will.

"Mhmmm," Will growls out and then whispers,"you have no idea."
