Chapter Thirty Two: Something
Regan had been thinking.
Things were slipping from her grasp and she felt as if she was starting to lose control of the situation. It had come to the point where she was starting to feel desperate for some sort of solution. Regan was coming to the realization that she was no longer enough to hold Lucius's interest for as long as she needed to. She had to do something that would keep them both here…and it was something that Regan had never thought she would ever have to do.
"I want you to remove the spell from me." Regan said out of the blue one morning when she was eating breakfast with Astoria and Draco while Lucius was busy at the Ministry.
"No," Draco said without looking up from his newspaper.
"Why would you even ask us?" Astoria asked as if Regan had said something deeply offensive.
"I have to do something." She insisted.
"Having my father's child isn't going to solve anything."
"I never said that I would give birth." She told him, causing him to finally look up from his paper. "I just need to get pregnant to keep him distracted."
"And then what?" Draco asked, putting the flimsy newspaper off to the side.
"You can stab me in the stomach to make sure that I lose it." Astoria instantly became pale at the suggestion and slowly began to shake her head.
"Why can't we just fake it?"
"Because you know that Lucius will have me examined by his doctor and it's not like we can bribe him to lie." She said, clearly irritated. "I'm at the end of my rope, what the fuck do you want me to do?" Regan sighed, falling back in her chair. "I don't have any other options, what else do you want me to do?"
"Anything but this," Astoria insisted. "Regan, we have taken so many precautions against this and you can't just throw this hard work back in our faces!" She exclaimed, causing Draco to put a hand on her arm.
"Calm down."
"What would Charlie say if he found out about this?" She asked, ignoring Draco's words. "What would Oskar say?"
"Don't you fucking throw him in my face." Regan seethed, gripping the arms of her chair.
"Stop it, both of you." Draco said firmly. "We have very few options…and I agree with Regan. She needs to do something to keep my father grounded." Astoria gawked at her husband, amazed that he had actually agreed. "There are potions you can take to get you to ovulate; I can make them for you if you'd like." He offered, but Regan shook her head.
"Just tell me how to take the spell off of my body; I can make the potions myself." Draco nodded, pulling out his wand and motioning for Regan to come closer. She did so, flinching when Draco pushed her shirt up and pressed the tip of his wand to her stomach.
"Utero aperto." He muttered, a soft blue light disappearing into Regan's body. She didn't feel any different, but could tell that there had been a great change in her body. "That should do it…let me know if you need any ingredients for the potion." Regan nodded, pulling down her shirt as Draco quietly excused himself. Astoria, who had remained silent, continued to stare at Regan.
"Do you want to be a martyr? Is this why you're doing this?" She asked with a sharp tone. "Or do you just want to be the next Harry Potter? Sacrifice yourself to be forever remembered as a hero?" Regan glared at her, slowly rising from her chair.
"I don't know what's got you so upset, but you were the one that pulled me into this. If you didn't want me to suffer, then you should have just let me die! I'm only here because you didn't want to be alone, so think twice before you call me selfish!" Astoria glared at her, practically seething in her seat. Regan didn't give her the chance to respond; she walked away with the sole focus of finding a spare cauldron.
…
The potion would take twenty four hours to fully cook, so Regan hid the cauldron in her closet in the hopes that Lucius wouldn't find it. Although, it wouldn't be a great catastrophe if he found it; it would just show him that she was trying to get pregnant.
When Regan drank the potion, she gagged and almost spit it out, but she forced herself to swallow the thick liquid. She shuddered, leaning against the wall of her closet as she fought to ignore the disgust that she felt. Within seconds, though, her sickness was forgotten and her skin suddenly felt as if she were on fire. She began to pant, pulling at her clothing and feeling arousal completely consuming her body. With her mind heavily clouded, she stumbled from her closet and was glad to see Lucius was just emerging from the bathroom. He glanced over at her, furrowing his brow when he took in her flushed form.
"Are you all right?" He asked, unsure of what to do with her. Regan didn't answer him; she couldn't. She peeled the clothing from her body until she was completely naked, a light sheen of sweat covering her pale body. She knew that she should have been embarrassed with her nipples puckering and her pussy wet without any encouragement, but she didn't.
She felt proud…and ready.
"My goodness pet, have I been neglecting you this much?" He asked, his eyes greedily scanning over her body. She could see him hardening for her and she bit her lower lip in anticipation.
"I need you," she muttered, gripping the door frame to keep herself standing.
"I can see that." He answered, roughly cupping her sex and easily sliding two fingers into her. He groaned as he touched her slick passage, feeling her move her hips with his fingers. "Bend over." Lucius roughly demanded, pulling his hand away from her only to free his erection. Regan instantly turned and bent over with her legs spread and her hands bracing herself against the wall. Lucius toyed with her moist entrance before sliding into her, groaning loudly as he easily slid into her tight passage. He ground his body against her as he tightly gripped her hips, starting to slowly thrust into her young body. Regan moaned, bucking her hips and begging him to go faster and harder. He complied, gritting his teeth as he felt himself close to cumming. His hands grabbed her breasts, pinching her nipples and gasping as she tightened around him. With a few more thrusts, he burst inside of her and Regan shuddered from the sheer force. Lucius panted, staying inside of her before he pulled out and fell back against the bed. Regan sighed, resting against the wall with her skin still on fire.
"Lucius…?" He smiled slightly with his eyes closed, expecting her to curl up beside him. But she didn't. He was extremely surprised to feel her hand wrap around his cock and stroke it to try and get him hard. His eyes opened as he propped himself up on his elbows and watched her.
"Pet?" He asked in a low voice. Regan smirked, her tongue flicking out to slowly lick the head.
"I want more…"
…
It took three tries.
Two times that night and then once the next morning.
That's what it took to get Regan pregnant.
She knew it instantly, but she waited a few days just to make sure. When she took her first pregnancy test, it came back positive. She sat in the bathroom by herself, the test in her hand, and crying silently to herself. She knew that this would only get more painful, but there was no way that she could go back now. She was pregnant with Lucius Malfoy's baby…a baby that she would eventually kill.
Regan waited patiently as their trip to Italy drew nearer, keeping her pregnancy symptoms to herself. She threw up in spare bathrooms and went to bed early, feigning a severe migraine. A week from their departure, at a family dinner, Regan decided that this was the perfect time to break her news to the family.
"You're not eating enough," Lucius gently told her. Regan nodded, forcing a few bites down.
"I suppose I should, I am eating for two now." She mused to herself. The table went dead silent, a fork dropping with a loud clatter. She looked to Draco, who had heavy guilt in his eyes. She could tell that he regretted letting this happen and she could see that he wished that he could change her mind when she had first suggested a pregnancy. They could not hold eye contact for long before Lucius practically hauled Regan up from her chair to tightly embrace her.
"You have made me so happy." Lucius whispered into her ear. Regan gently rubbed his back, slowly pulling back from his eager arms.
"Don't you have to be gentle with me now?" She asked in a slight tease. Lucius chuckled, a hand going to rest on Regan's still flat stomach.
"We'll have to send out announcements to everyone…this is so wonderful."
"Why not announce it in the papers?" Astoria eagerly suggested. "This is too good of news to just keep to ourselves; may as well make it known to the entire world."
"Wonderful idea!" Lucius quickly exclaimed. "I'll go send an owl to the editor immediately."
With one final kiss to Regan, he was off up the stairs to his office with a jump in his step. Astoria slowly stood, taking Scorpio from his high chair and placing him on her hip.
"Since this was your idea, you'll have to be the one to kill it." She said lowly, her eyes focused on Draco. "I won't be involved in this." Astoria strode out of the room, leaving Regan standing awkwardly across from Draco. He finally sighed, slowly standing up.
"Let's give this at least two months…that way he'll have a reason to throw you a big party." He told her quietly. Regan nodded, nervously licking her lips.
"How are we going to…make it go away?" She asked in a low voice.
"You'll fall." Draco said quickly as if he had given this a lot of thought. And he probably had. This wasn't exactly something that you just went into blindly. "I think I should just push you down the stairs." He grimaced. "No matter what we do, the pain will be substantial."
"But at least that way we'll know that it's working." She quipped, watching a flicker of a smile pass across his face.
"I suppose so, yes." He straightened up when he heard his father come down the stairs. "Congratulations, please let me know if there's anything I can do for you." He said just as his father entered the room. Lucius wrapped an arm around her waist, his other hand once again touching her stomach.
"They're going to run the story on the front page." He told her happily. Regan smiled at him, pushing back her hair.
"It's so strange to see my picture in the newspapers." She admitted, watching Draco slowly walk out of the room to give the pair privacy. Once they were alone, Lucius pulled her close and hungrily kissed her, his hands sliding down her smooth back.
"I will never be able to express to you how happy you've made me." He told her once he pulled back from the kiss.
"I know that we're supposed to go to Italy for a few days, but-."
"I'll cancel the trip." Lucius quickly assured her. "You need to rest and I will stay with you…the Italians will of course understand." Regan nodded, letting out an inward sigh of relief. She had done what she had set out to do, but she felt oddly guilty. She would have to kill the child growing inside of her, and she felt sick about it. This child was completely innocent; it did not know that it's father was a monster and it's a mother a fraud. Regan hated to sacrifice the innocent…it wasn't fair, but she was in too deep now.
"We'll have to start designing a nursery and we can start looking for a nanny." Lucius began to escort her up the stairs, Regan numbly nodding.
"Of course…whatever you say…"

A/N: The wait to move to LA is killing me. The latest my apartment will be available is the 10th of September, so I'm just waiting...I literally have nothing to do all day except write...which isn't such a bad thing, but it would still be nice to leave my house/yard.
