A/N: So sorry for the delay in updating this. Just want to make sure that everything makes sense before I post it. To make up for it I'll post two chapters on this story tonight. Enjoy and thanks to all those who review, add to their favs and those who just read it. Thank you.

"You look amazing so stop fidgeting." Kensi said as they approached the club later that night. Yana was walking beside her. She was playing with the dress that Hetty had her in. It was low at the front, and cut way above her knees. "We're getting close to the club, alright if I put my arm around you?"

"Yeah, Callen asked you to let me know if you planned on reaching out to me didn't he?" Yana was shorter than Kensi so she slipped under her arm easily.

"Yep." Kensi recalled when Callen came up to her in the locker rooms earlier that afternoon.

Start of Flashback

"Kens, you decent?"

"Yeah." Kensi heard Callen call out from around the corner and wondered what he wanted to talk about. Yana and he had spoken at length about whether she would be ok. She had assured him she would be. "What's up Callen?" she asked as he came in.

She watched as he lent against the wall for a moment, looking at her dress. "Hetty's managed to get the two of you to match."

"Callen?" Kensi prompted him. She knew it wasn't about the dresses.

He asked quietly, "What's the longest you've been under cover for Kens?" He was looking right at her and she had never heard him speak so low.

"A couple of months."

"With backup?"

"Yeah, body guard. Where's this going Callen?" Kensi stopped short of putting her heels on and looked at him closely. He looked worried.

"Yana's just come from a long term cover with virtually no backup. She's going to be jumpy and in the club, she's going to be on high alert." He was looking straight at her and Kensi could see that he was very serious. The only time she had seen it was when they quit to go and save Hetty.

"So…?"

"Let her know when you come to her when she can't see you otherwise it will be a repeat of that first day. Also, let her know of your intentions when it comes to touching her."

"That why you're always calling out to each other?" Kensi had noticed it after a couple of days and now that she thought about it, Sam did it to him to.

"Yes. Turns out I'm a little jumpy when I can't hear her coming up on me. It's been a long time since anyone has gotten the drop on me like she has."

"Hetty doesn't count?" Kensi's eyebrow went up at that.

"I expect it of Hetty, she's been doing it longer than the two of us have been alive. Just keep an eye on her Kens. Stay safe." He left after that, leaving Kensi with a lot of questions.

End of Flashback

"I've got your back Kensi." Yana said, her voice strengthening.

"And I've got yours." She touched her ear to turn off the earwig and nodded to her to do the same. "Pizza and beers at my place tomorrow night?" she asked, touching her ear again and fondling Yana's as they approached the door.

"Sounds good. Thanks Marisol." Yana used Kensi's cover name as they arrived at the door. They heard confirmation that the others could hear them as they entered the club. They made their way over to the bar and ordered. After receiving their drinks, they headed to a table that allowed them a good view of the floor. It was a single story affair with a VIP section to one side.

"Guys, any footage we get of dealing the LAPD wants it." Deeks informed them as they watched a man hand over some packets of tablets to a woman on the cameras the women were wearing as earrings and a brooch.

The two women spent the next half an hour slowly sipping their drinks and watching the floor while making it look like they were a couple. Kensi was surprised how quickly Yana had stepped into the role. After a slight flinch after they sat down, she responded to Kensi's touches easily. The dresses they had matched in colour and style except that Kensi's had a low back and high front while Yana's was the opposite, making them look like a wave of red and blue.

"Guys, the door to the surveillance room is behind the red wall hanging." Eric suddenly spoke up. Kensi and Yana realised that it was on the other side of the dance floor, which meant they had to cross it.

Kensi wrapped her arms around Yana and after feeling a small amount of resistance from her, felt her moving in time to the music. Over the earwigs they both heard Deeks groan and mumble something about a room full of the hottest women and foam causing them to smile. A second later they heard him yelp as Callen hit him over the back of the head. They managed to make it halfway before a woman came up them and sandwiched Yana between her and Kensi.

A moment later, Kensi felt Yana tugging her away and looked down at her hands. She was signalling to her to go on to the hidden door. Kensi lent down and whispered "You sure?"

"Marisol, why don't you go and get drinks for us and Tamara, was it?" Yana suddenly said in a voice that sounded like it came from the east coast while at the same time pushing something into her hand. The other woman that had attached herself to Yana nodded, nearly falling over in the process, a huge drunken grin on her face.

Kensi nodded and headed off. After a few moments she had made it to the room and after a moment at the door was in. She plugged in the ironclad for Eric and while waiting for him and Nell to work their magic she read the note that Yana had given her. It just said 'party favour'. She also listened to Yana talking to Tamara. After a moment it changed to what sounded like kissing. Hearing Nell say they were finished, she wrenched the device out and shoved it back down her front. She hurried over to the bar, ordered the drinks and showed the bartender the note. He handed over a small packet of tablets. Placing the tablets in her purse, Kensi then made her way back to Yana. Callen told her that they had made their way back to their original seat.

"Camille , what are you doing?" Keeping in character, Kensi played the part of the jealous lover. Yana was kissing the stranger and she clearly wasn't imagining it as Deeks said something inappropriate as Callen hit him again.

"Marisol, I'm sorry, I didn't mean.. you know me and alcohol…" She got up and followed Kensi out continuing to stutter apologies, leaving the other woman looking a little put out until she saw the three free drinks and forgot all about them.

"Kensi get in the car and leave." Callen said over the earwig. "Yana, call my number and ask me to pick you up. Deeks, lay down in the back." He put the car into drive and waited for Yana to call him. A moment later his phone rang and Yana asked him as her brother to pick her up.

Five minutes later, after collecting Yana, a very cramped Deeks sat up in the back of Callen's two door coupe. "Well that didn't go according to plan."

"Does anything?" Yana asked as she pulled out some wipes from the glove box of the car. She hurriedly wiped the slutty style make-up off and pulled out the earrings. "Do you know how close the LAPD narcotics team is to busting this place?" She turned to Deeks in the back as they drove back to ops.

"They're not that close. They have no idea how the drugs are distributed." Deeks said, wondering what was going on.

"We do now. Kensi, how'd we make out?" Yana asked over the earwig.

"Half a dozen tablets, all ecstasy." Kensi said as she drove. "How much?"

"$400."

"What? How?" Deeks face was one of pure shock.

"While you were drooling over the women, I was watching them. For a gay club, not a lot of them were together. They were watching everyone, looking for customers."

Callen spoke up then, he had been watching the women once Yana had asked Tamara if she had anything to spice up a party. "Tamara is the head honcho. My guess is she has several people in the club that sell for her. The guy we first saw was one of them, but I think Yana's right, it's mostly the women that sell them. You get a note and hand it to the bar tender like Kensi did. Money and drugs are separate."

"The note had 'party favour' written on it with a picture on it. My guess would be that the picture changes every night and every girl has a different one." Kensi had been the only one to see the note. She had shown the camera in her brooch but everyone had been watching Yana's back.

"Makes sense." A yawing Yana mumbled before letting her head rest against the back of the seat.

"You feel alright?" Callen asked. Usually he was so hyped up on adrenalin that he couldn't sleep. He knew that Kensi was the same, which was why he was worried that she was able to close her eyes.

"Yeah, just memories that I'd sooner forget came back, it's been exhausting trying not to let them surface." She replied without opening her eyes.

"You said you'd be fine." He knew he had a slight accusing tone in his voice but he couldn't help it. He was starting to realise just how much Sam had to put up with when it came to him holding things back.

"I was until that woman Tamara came up to us." She said nothing further and Callen was going to leave it until she was ready to talk, but he had forgotten that Deeks was in the car as well. And he was not one to leave things to sort themselves out. He found that pushing Kensi got her to talk so he tried it on Yana.

"What memories?" Deeks ignored Callen's angry glare that bounced off the review mirror to him and continued to look at Yana.

"The ones that involved the family I was under with. There were a lot of them and they enjoyed living under one roof. There was no privacy and when they had parties, it got very crowded. I've never liked crowds and loud noises, but I had no choice. It was join in or else." She shifted slightly and pulled the dress off her back a little. Callen guessed that was when she got the scars and growled in anger. "Some of the things they did at them." She shook her head, no doubt trying to clear it of bad memories. "And me being fresh meat, many of the body-guards and other guests tried to come onto me." She sighed and tried to settle into the seat in a more comfortable position. "Until tonight, it was nice being around people that had no interest in me in that regard."

Callen could see that Yana wanted to rest for a few minutes before they arrived back at the mission, aware that everyone had heard what they had been saying. Most likely, however, Yana didn't realise that they hadn't taken out their earwigs. But Deeks wouldn't let it go.

"So, asking you out for a date is out of the question then?" Again, ignoring Callen.

Yana chuckled at that, the serious look on her face faded as she did. "I knew there was a reason I liked you. My partner, Michel would have said the same thing. I miss him. And home." Sadness showed on her face as she said the last words. She turned from Callen and Deeks then and stared out the window as the two of them engaged in a silent argument thru the mirror.
