Hermione sat crying as she saw the long gash across Amber's back. She couldn't think, couldn't do anything to help her baby. Thankfully, Draco knew what to do and sealed the cut.
"Mione, please, pull yourself together. Amber needs you. I don't know how to help her any further, and she's lost a lot of blood," she heard Draco say.
"In the bathroom," Hermione rasped. "There's a vile of blue liquid. Get it."
Draco did as he was bid, and brought the vial back quickly. Hermione gave the potion to Amber and prayed she would swallow. She breathed a sigh of relief when Amber did. As she explained the nature of the potion, Hermione noticed Pansy was no longer petrified.
Hermione watched Draco apprehend the bitch named Pansy, and leave with her to the Headmistress's office. About an hour after Draco left, he returned with the Minister Shacklebolt who informed them that they needed to be registered as animangi. The pair took Emily and Amber into Em's room before discussing things with the minister.
"You should only show him one form, Mione. This way you can protect yourself when necessary," Draco told her.
"How about we be a family of dogs then, Draco," Mione smirked.
Draco nodded and they walked out to the common room. The process of registering didn't take long as they were both very unique dogs.
"That should be all, Hermione, Mr. Malfoy," Kingsley said. "And I know about your special ability, Hermione. I won't tell that you didn't show all your animal forms."
"How do you know?" Hermione asked in shock.
"Minerva told me when she summoned me to take Miss. Parkinson," he replied. "Now, may I see the little one?"
Hermione nodded and walked away to get Amber. Kingsley adored the little creature. He bid the pair good luck before leaving to try Pansy in court. Amber was placed back with Emily for warmth, and Draco led Hermione the bedroom where she began changing into her nightclothes. As she changed, she didn't notice Draco grab a box out of one of the drawers.
Hermione turned to Draco after she was changed, and gasped to see him on one knee holding open a box with the most beautiful ring she had ever seen. The band of the ring was swirled with silver and gold, and it was encrusted with Emeralds and Rubies, but the most amazing gem was the large heart shaped diamond raised above the other gems.
"Hermione Jean Granger, Brains of the Trio, and the Woman Who Holds My Heart, will you marry me?" Draco asked her.
Hermione was speechless for a minute staring shocked at the man in front of her. She was suddenly aware of every fine detail of him, his messy, yet gorgeous, white blonde hair and his beautiful silver-blue eyes. "Yes!" she shrieked finally.
Draco smiled as he slid the ring onto her outstretched hand. As he stood up, Hermione attacked his lips with hers not caring about anything except being in his embrace.

So, what do you think of the ring? I thought it matched them well, don't you? Hermione and Draco, who would have ever thought?
