So Here we go. After this, there will only be another three chapters. I hope you all enjoy this one. If can, I will post another one after this.

Callen had called Nate the moment he had sat Yana on the couch. Half an hour and a second round of ice packs later he asked, "What the hell is going on Yana, why did that guy say you killed his brother? And what did you tell Arkady?"

"I told Arkady everything because he and the brother of the man I killed had a right to know."

"They do but not me and my team?"

"You and your team can be ordered to tell, Arkady can't be. And he won't tell you for the same reasons."

The voice was resigned and she managed to sit up a little. "The family I was under with were really bad people, into everything. The Ukrainian police worked with some former KGB agents to try and bring them down. Either the family found out or the police jumped the gun, but a shootout started. I didn't know they were cops at the time, but simply fired to survive. A couple of months later, I found out who they were, and that I had killed one of them." Her voice had dropped to almost a whisper. "Turns out the family was tipped off and they wanted to see my reaction to shooting a cop. I can still see his face, Cal. I can still feel the gun recoil, does that ever go away?"

"No." Callen shifted and sat next to her. He realised that a huge weight had been shifted off her shoulders since she had talked to Arkady. The wounds she had were consistent with jus a handful of blows. And she had allowed the man to land them without retaliation. Arkady most likely had stopped any more from being delivered. "The family you were under with, have they been caught?"

Yana paused a moment before answering "Most of them are dead now, the others have scattered, that was how I got out."

It was the most she had ever said about her job and he was glad that she had told him a bit. "I take it after you finish here, you're going to try and round the rest of them up?"

"If possible, then again, maybe not for a couple of years. I have no desire to go back to them for a while."

"Well, when you do, make sure you are the one who puts the cuffs on them or fires the bullet that finishes them, it's made me feel better in the past."

"After all these years of getting you to try and talk to me, this is what it takes for you to open up?" Nate came up to them as he spoke. He had quietly opened the door to the boat house just as Yana had started to talk about shooting the Russian cop. He listened as they talked and was surprised at how much Callen opened up to her. How was it that he and Sam, Hetty and Gibbs had never been able to in all their years that they had known him, yet here was this woman that had been here all a month and she had gotten him to say so much?

"I hope you have some of the good stuff in there Doc." Yana said as Callen stood and took the case from him. After a moment of looking, he found the stronger pain killers and a couple of gauze cloths to put some antiseptic on her face. He had cleaned the blood off as best he could, but the small kit there didn't have any first aid cream. "Can Nate do it?" She asked.

"Sure, why?" Callen asked as he handed the gauze to Nate.

"That camera up there is bugging me with its blinking." As Callen turned to look at where the camera was expertly hidden, so no blinking could be seen she continued "And I can hear the hum from the microphone."

Callen got the message that she wanted to talk to Nate without the risk of it being recorded and went around and turned off all the equipment in the sitting area. Then he left the two of them and went out to call Hetty and let her know that they were talking. He enquired as to how the info he had gotten from Arkady was being handled and was pleased that Gibbs was in charge and running rough shot over the FBI. It was nearing lunch so while he waited, he went to a nearby food vender they used when they were here and got himself a taco.

After over an hour, Nate opened the door and called out to Callen that they were finished. Callen, who had been lounging against the wall in the shade, stood and entered and saw that Yana had passed out and was now fast asleep. He looked at Nate and saw that he was looking at him oddly. "Nate, everything ok?"

"Yeah." Trying to mask the hand in the cookie jar look that he was sure was on his face, Nate looked down at the pile of notes that he had compiled. He was glad that he had taken the time to learn Latin. No one knew what his notes said unless they understood it. He risked a small peak at Callen after several moments and caught him staring at Yana.

"What did she tell you?" He asked as he crossed his arms and turned to him.

"What she told Arkady and a bit more I suspect."

"That doesn't answer my question."

"Callen, you know about doctor-patient confidentiality." Nate stood then, tucking his papers into the case he had brought with him. Seeing the look in Callen's eyes, he sighed. "Everything she saw, did, was done to her. She said that you know about the marks on her back?" At Callen's nod he continued "She said that it happened when she wouldn't help beat a man they suspected of being a spy."

"What happened to the guy?" Callen was afraid of asking, but he had to know.

"She took him somewhere where he could be found and they did it after she got back. He survived and he wasn't a spy. Just a regular guy that became friends with some of the family members but didn't like what they did." Nate watched as he paced and noticed a few things that Yana had pointed out to him. He smiled a little as he did and of course that was when Callen caught him.

"What?"

"Nothing. I think you should take her home now, there's no way she's going to be able to do anything more today." He finished tidying up the mess he had made cleaning Yana's wounds while they talked. Dumping the rubbish, he helped Callen get her into his car. Watching them drive away, he called Hetty and told her that they had spoken and that Callen and everyone else was right in that she had never been debriefed. He went on to say that the emotional relief of being able to talk to someone had left her drained and Callen was taking her home. After finishing the call, he wondered how she would explain the bruises the next day.
