I promised fluff, here is the fluff.

Day 3: Ribbon

"Daddy, that hurts…"

Natsu removed his hands from his daughter's strawberry blonde tresses in a flash, his eyes wide. "Sorry sweetheart," He said, a soft smile adorning his face. "Your mom would probably be better at this…" Natsu carefully ran his fingers through his daughter's hair, being as gentle as possible. The little girl nodded, fiddling with the hands of her toy dragon. "Mommy usually does my hair," She said, her voice pensive for a four year old. "But she said she wanted you to do it today, Daddy. Are you okay with that?" She looked up at her father with her big hazel eyes, her face resembling that of her mother when she was curious about something. Natsu grinned, ruffling her hair some, but not enough to mess it up too much. "Aye!" He exclaimed joyfully, glad to hear his daughter's cute giggle. "That's Happy's catchphrase, Daddy!" Natsu chuckled. "Oh, it is? And what's mine?"

The little girl balled up one fist and punched the palm of her other hand, her best imitation of her father's smirk across her face. "I'm all fired up!" Natsu laughed, grinning like an idiot. She was just too cute for her own good. "That was pretty good, Ignacia! And what about your mom?" Ignacia put her finger to her lips, her eyes pointed at the ceiling in thought. She suddenly hopped a bit in her seat, eyes bright. "Natsu Dragneel, how many times have I told you not to start fights at the guild! You're a grown man!"

At this, Natsu nearly fell over cackling. "Oh man, you've got your mother down to pat!" He exclaimed. "High five!"

"I believe my catchphrase would be more along the lines of 'go home, Taurus.'"

Natsu shrieked with laughter. "That one's pretty good too, Luce! Wait," He suddenly stopped, his eyes wide. "I'm not in trouble, am I?" Lucy shook her head, giggling. "Not at all. I will admit, I scold you regularly. But what's a wife to do?" She strolled over to her daughter, who's hair was in messy pigtails that were barely even staying up. "Natsu," Lucy inquired, a slight smile painting her features. "What did you do to Ignacia's hair?" Natsu threw up his hands in mock surrender. "I just did what you told me to!" He pursed his lips, squinting at Ignacia's hair. "Do you not like the style or somethin'? I figured it was your favorite, since you used to wear it all the time…"

"No, no, that's not it," Lucy chuckled, examining her daughter's messy locks. "But it's a mess. It's barely staying up! How did you manage that…?" She took the little blue ribbon in between her fingers, pulling the messy bow (which was more of a knot) loose. "Ah! There's your problem!" She exclaimed, picking up the comb to fix Ignacia's mess of a hair do. "You can't put up a girl's hair with just a ribbon. You need hair ties."

"Eh? But you always wore ribbons. And Levy used a ribbon as a headband, it worked fine." Natsu said. Lucy smiled at her husband, knowing that he simply had no idea what to do with girls' hair. "They work as headbands, sure," She started, pulling the little black hair tie off her wrist and slipping it around a bundle of her daughter's golden-pink hair. "But for this kind of thing, you have to put hair ties first, then you can tie a ribbon around it for decoration. The ribbon won't keep it up on it's own."

Natsu said nothing more., instead deciding to sit on the floor of his daughter's room and watch as his wife so effortlessly put Ignacia's hair up. Those pigtails were so cute on her. Not to mention, she was so much like her mother, in both her appearance and her personality. This scared Natsu a bit, because god knows how many boys he'll end up having to chase off when she grows up. Maybe even girls, too. He couldn't be entirely sure. Either way, it would certainly prove to be a challenge. Not that he couldn't take them, but there would be so many…

"Done!"

The Dragon Slayer was snapped from his thoughts at the sound of his wife's voice. Sure enough, Ignacia's hair was perfectly in place this time, the cute little blue ribbons tied in perfect bows around the two bundles of hair. Lucy kissed her daughter on the cheek. "Gray and Erza are on their way to drop off Kristina, so why don't you go play for a while before she gets here?"

"Okay mommy!" Ignacia skipped away, her little pigtails swinging at each side of her head. "She's too cute," Natsu said, standing up and going over to his wife. "I still can't believe she's ours sometimes." He wrapped his arms around her waist from behind, resting his head on her shoulder. "It's like, 'wow, we made that. And she's so perfect.' How does it even work?" Lucy chuckled, kissing his cheek. "I know. She's going to be gorgeous when she grows up, I can only imagine how many boys will be falling at her feet."

"Maybe even girls too."

"Yeah."

They stood in silence for a minute, simply holding onto one another. "Did you ever expect this to happen?" Natsu blurted out, unsure where it came from. "You know, all this. Marriage. A house. A kid. Did you see that coming?"

"When I first met you? No. You were way too childish then," Lucy said with a slight smirk. Natsu frowned. "Mean," He mumbled. Lucy laughed. "But later on, I thought, maybe something could happen between us. You?" Natsu grinned. "No, I didn't. I never thought you'd go for it, since you were so far out of my league. Or that's what the other guys in the guild said. Either way, I'm really glad it did." Lucy pecked him on the lips, a soft smile in place. "Me, too," She said.

Then, the doorbell rang, prompting both of them to sigh and let go of each other. "I've got it," Lucy said, heading toward the door. "Hey, Luce?"

"Yeah?"

"Sorry you ended up doing her hair anyway."

Lucy laughed. "It's alright. Next time, don't try to put her hair up with just ribbons."

That has got to be one of the fluffiest things I've ever written bye.

Anyway, I named Natsu and Lucy's daugher Ignacia because it's a Latin name that means flame and it kinda sounds like Igneel so I thought Natsu would want to name her something like that. And it's pretty, so Lucy would go for it I think.

And yes, that mention of Gray and Erza did indicate GrayZa if anyone was wondering. No regrets.

Hope you liked it!
