Bonnibel held her breath. Of all people. Braco she thought. Bonnie only then noticed that Braco had been one of the four men staring at them not long earlier. His pals were all watching, waiting with baited breath to see what would happen next. Marceline was about to speak, but Bonnie held her hand up. She wanted to hear what her ex had to say. Braco was staring at the women who had broken apart from their embrace. He stared fully at Bonnie with wide eyes.
"Bonnibel what the fuck?!" Braco yelled with his arms crossed over his chest.
"Me? What the fuck me? No. What the fuck you Braco!" Bonnie scoffed.
"We break up and you go all lesbian? I didn't beg you for one." Braco kept eyeballing Marceline. Which caused a low growl from the thin woman.
"Pssh how could you? We didn't date long enough for you to know anything about me. Obviously. And let us not forget you were the one who cheated in the first place."
"Alright but you don't see me jerkin off a guy do ya?" Braco genually looked offended. Bonnie was finding the whole situation quite amusing.
"I mean not at the moment, but I don't know your personal life and honestly I'd rather not get involved at all. I am very happy with my lovely girlfriend. Speaking of Marcy this is Braco, Braco my kick ass girlfriend." Marceline stepped forward with a smirk on her face, arm extended for a hand shake. Braco looked at her hand before slowly reaching forward. Marceline grabbed his hand and pulled him forward until her lips were near his ear. She spoke to him in a rushed whisper.
"If I ever catch you around her you won't live to see another day. You hurt her once and I'm never going to let the happen again." She pulled away with a wide smile.
"Well this was fun! Right guys?" Turning around she saw how the group was still staring not quite sure how to take the current situation. "But man I am starving. Let's get some grub!" Everyone turned away because they knew Marcy meant business. Marceline made sure Braco saw her firmly wrapped her arm around Bonnies shoulder before they also started walking.
"Oh and Braco? She looked over her shoulder. "Bisexual is the proper term." Braco just stared before turning around and sulked back to his friends.
Marcy and Bonnie were almost to Ladys mini van( yes a mini van. Because somebody has to be the mother) when Bonnie stopped.
" I'm sorry he was here..I didn't even know he was back in he was off doing who knows what."
"Bonnibel Bubblegum look me in the eyes right now." Marcelines face was hard showing no emotion. Bonnibel felt her stomach drop. Oh god what if she hates me? Bonnie looked right into Marceline eyes .
"Bonnie." Marcy deadpanned. "Really? You're nervous about what I'm going to say aren't you?" Bonnie nodded. "Babe he shows up randomly after five years and you think I'm gonna be angry. Oh my god Bonnie no! I'm not that self-centered." Marceline laughed finally breaking her facade. "You were like a freaking goddess just then." Marcy spin quickly, looking over her shoulder dramatically. In horrible mocked version of Bonnies voice Marceline spoke
"Oh and Braco. Bisexual is the proper term. HAAHA! Who thinks of that! Babe you slayed him. I am so proud of my girlfriend." Marcy wrapped her arms around Bonnie. Bonnie laid her head on Marcys chest.
"Thanks I guess." She said with a small chuckled. "I didn't mean to be so wicked, but it all just seemed to flow out, ya know? Like we were young, but it sucked and then seeing him again. I don't know." She sighed and was feeling exhausted now. Marcy rubbed her hair.
"Well I know you were awesome and that you deserve a hot shower with breakfast in bed." Bonnie looked up at her.
"But it's six in the evening."
"Yeah and I'm gonna make you some bomb ass pancakes. Now let's get home."
Nobody questioned them as they entered the van. Everyone else looked as tired as they felt. The ride home was mostly silent, except for Jakes music in the background.
Marceline chose to use the guest bathroom. She was thought Bonnie would like some alone time. She was humming to herself as she began to scrape dried mud off her skin. Once she felt clean, Marceline turned off the water and wrapped a towel around her waist. She looked in the mirror at her reflection. Noticing small details like the small scar across her nose from a softball to the face.
" Not every gay person is good at sports." she mumbled. She grabbed her clothes and got ready to prepare for breakfast.
Bonnibel was laying back in bed when Marceline came into the bedroom. She had a tray with a stack of pancakes and a glass of what looked to be iced tea. She sat up grinning at her girlfriend.
"Marcy it looks delicious! I'm so glad I have you hear to cook." Bonnie grabbed a fork and started at her own syrup drenched food.
"Babe you lit water on fire once. I don't even know how you managed that." She said with a mouthful.
"In my defense I'd never made ramen before. Even the smartest of minds can be improved. And clearly ramen had a big victory." Bonnibel chuckled. She knew she couldn't cook. It never did her fancy. But Marcy was a fantastic chef. If it weren't for her Bonnie was sure she would be living off take out her whole life.
"Yeah well at least one of us can cook." They ate the rest of their food in a peaceful silence. When both plates were clear Marceline stacked them onto of the tray and put it onto of their dresser. She flicked off the light and rolled over to Bonnie, who had started to get up. Marceline grabbed her waist and pulled her against her thin frame.
"And where do you think you're going?"
"We just ate a thick stack of pancakes and I had like a pound of syrup on mine. I was going to brush my teeth." Marcy held her tighter and began to get comfy.
"Nope. I cooked and the least you could do is cuddle your favorite lover." Marceline yawned. She lights kissed Bonnies neck before snuggling against her back. Bonnie sighed and gave in. Teeth could wait Marceline now. There was no point in arguing with a sleepy Marcy. She could be as stubborn as brick wall.
" Alright hon you win. Thank you for dinner in bed. And being by my side earlier today." She was already dozing off.
"M'sokay Bon *yawn* I like helping you. S'cuz I love youuu." Marceline let out in one breathe.
"Love you too Marcy." Marceline was already lightly snoring before Bonnie finished her sentence.
