I would just also like to say a wonderful THANK YOU to all who have reviewed, especially fireworks –guest . Please all keep reviewing!

The papers lay side by side on the coffee table, un -touching, spread out. The papers were the sole reason I was still waiting for Emily to respond from her closed demeanour, to gage a reaction from her, to fathom the next move. Should I break the ice, continue in the same forlorn and twisted pattern or should I wait till the silence has eventually stopped time, broken us all up into the atmosphere to be nothing more than untraceable particles floating in orbit.

I let my mind wonder, it made me feel calmer almost diverting my attention to useless things, until the clack of a pair of well-polished black Prada work shoes interrupted the procession; It seemed Nolan was fed up of the silence too, I didn't even notice him sitting next to Emily perusing the papers with his startling inquisitive blue eyes. "Ems' speak to me, you know what this means, she's"

"Don't, she CAN'T be" her expression was surprisingly pained, her creamy skin crinkled where her eyes were closed, her voice hoarse from not speaking. Nolan began to interrupt, but already Aiden had walked in with 2 steaming mugs of a rich caramel coloured drink which he set down on the edge of the table.

He surprised me when he twisted the handle towards me and gave a half smile, "Drink" he must have misread my puzzled expression because " It's TEA, I promise!" Nolan gave a quizzical snort "Yeah right, as if she would believe any of us Briton".

Aiden sighed, but said nothing and took the tea and took a tentative sip before putting it back down. "See, no problem," and then glared at Nolan who was already muttering something about catching germs from saliva exchange. I glanced back at Aiden "Oh that's it, pretty boy, get up" they both started to get up, when all focused resumed onto Emily cutting the tension curtly.

It seemed she was back, restored to her normal mask of utmost composure. "Jessica, I" she failed, not as composed as I thought, she resumed after taking a breath whilst Nolan & Aiden had sat back down " Do you know who I am?"

I took in her expression, studying it , I had to be sure. Blonde tendrils swirled around her heart shaped face; one of the tendrils had curled around her left temple creating a pale golden circle. She bit her lip causing a surprisingly attractive dimple to erupt on her right cheek. But what had held me in place were the sincere wide chocolate brown eyes that bore into mine with a whole conviction.

Even know trying to explain it, I still can't it was as if a switched had been flicked, that familiar CLICK sound you here, a connecting sound that is universal yet each unique to a hearers ears.

I knew why I was so intrigued by her eyes, those Eyes, the ones I had seen since my birth, the same brown which had cried with me when my goldfish died, the ones that sparkled whenever a story was being told, the eyes that could physically burn me with guilt and the fear of child caught in a wrong doing.

They were my mothers eyes, Emily's eyes….. my Sisters eyes.

OF course, I knew who she was. I somehow found myself on my feet nodding in wonder, as we stood in front of each other, my voice started as barely above an audible whisper, "you're her, the girl in the diary " my voice grew louder, the words gushing and tumbling over each other " Amanda, the one my mother dreams of, the girl my father wrote about before he left." I swallowed, my heart stammering, my voice rang with finality "my mother's daughter, you are my sister."

I blinked as a warm, strong hand had grasped my own, she did not speak but she nodded. One hand on my own, another on the diary pages which had finally reunited in the midst of her fists.

"Don't you just love happy reunions?" Nolan wistfully says in the midst of the revelations, Emily let out a small watery chuckle "something like that yes", her eyes back to my face sweeping over mine. I paused momentarily before answering her smile, it was a small one but it was all I felt like I could give for now.

"So, what now" Aiden stated, before Nolan could interject with another sarcastic comment, Emily had already announced " I know this is going to be strange, but hopefully me showing you the infinity box has somehow bridge the gap between us" she gaged my reaction but all I could say was "go on" I was already weary of the events unfolding.

Emily continued "I know you have a ton of questions as well as I do, but- "

"Will you answer them, or will you avoid them?" I pointed out; an awkward silence hung in the air because soon after Nolan and Aiden left the room both declaring simultaneously they needed the bathroom.

" I will, I promise, as" she faltered, struggling " as your sister I promise, but jess I need you to trust me, whatever I tell you it has to be between us and-" she looked around "those two."

" and your pal Amanda" I added sardonically, her face became clouded, " Don't judge her too harshly, she's one of the only few people you can really trust."

"Emily, is it Emily or Amanda, seriously I" I paused almost blushing when I was nervous I always traced my mind to trivial things out of habit.

She didn't seem to mind," Confused right?" I nodded, "this is what I'm saying, we need to trust each other, OK, no more lies".

" Then it's your turn for now , I need to know" I demanded to Emily in a small voice, she took a deep breath.

"How about this," Nolan appeared, with a grin as wide as the Cheshire cat, "Emily will answer your questions, then you will answers hers, fill in the blanks, ok girls" he added condescendingly, " But first you guys owe me $17.99 for Pizza"

The tone of the conversation rapidly changed, " right so a multi-billionaire is asking for 20 bucks?" Aiden replied as he walked over to the door from the kitchen, to attain the pizza.

"Well I thought, since to convince Jess we are couple of regular Joes, we need pizza," he looked at my face "You seem like a cheese pizza kind of girl to me" he winced, pacing over to the kitchen whilst the 3 neatly boxes were brought in form Aiden, "but Emily keeps a secret stash of hot sauce in the draw."

"Hands of that is mine, Nolan," Emily called, I smiled fully for the first time in what felt like a century, so much had happened yet somehow I knew that I had been directed to the right place, even after the tricky start! I looked outside the window, it was dark now, it wasn't as clear as last night, but the cloud was thin enough for me to gaze at the moon, where somewhere inside me I thanked my Gad for telling me.

Hope you liked it! Please review. Have a great day!
