HEYOO! PhoenixFlare217 here! And welcome to the new chapter! Hey, remember when I said that Kamiri/Kitari's outfit would be the official Battle City one? I WAS WRONG! I actually drew her outfit-it's not that good I guarantee you- but she's going to wear a black tank top, black skinny jeans with a dark blue belt- it's similar to Yami/Yugi's-, light-blue lipstick- it's dark blue on Kitari-, and dark blue gloves that go up to her elbows, but they go around her thumb and pinkie finger. Oh, and don't forget those black heeled boots. I actually have a pair of those, and they have about 3 inches of heel, AND THEY ARE THE BEST SHOES IN THA GALAXY! I would sleep with them on if it wasn't so damn uncomfortable. Any who…I hope you read this! DISCLAIMER!

Kamiri walked through the streets of Domino, surprised at how many familiar faces she saw. Weevil Underwood, Rex Raptor, Mako Tsunami, you name it! She smiled when she caught sight of her dark-ginger haired friend. Russet was talking with Ash, who was standing next to her. Russet threw her head back, and laughed at something Ash had said. Russet's jade eyes landed on Kamiri, and she grinned in happiness.

"'Sup, Kamiri! Did'ja get your Duel Disk yet?" She asked. Duel Disk systems were the new technology Kaiba Corp. created for easier and more advanced dueling. Russet and Kamiri both had them on. Russet was wearing a dark-red blouse that was tied up under her breasts, and a dark-green tank top under it. On her legs were denim jeans, and brown cowboy boots. Kamiri was wearing {Read from 'I WAS WRONG' To 'DISCLAIMER!'} .

"Yeah, it's cool that Kaiba was able to invent all of this stuff by himself!" Kamiri said. Russet glared at nothing when she said 'his' name.

"I guess…But I'm still NOT forgivin' him after what he did to us!" Kamiri frowned, then sighed.

"Kaiba is…." Ash came to her rescue.

"Kaiba is cold-hearted, but nonetheless an intelligent person. Heck, even I'm surprised I'm saying this!" The three laughed, until Kamiri felt a tap on her shoulder. Turning around, she saw a girl around her age, with chocolate hair, and lime-green eyes. She had a duel disk on her wrist, no doubt one of the competitors.

"Are you Kamiri Icetalon, Queen of Games?" She raised a brown eyebrow at her, and Kamiri nodded.

"Let's duel." The girl's eyes widened slightly, but quickly narrowed.

"Let's duel!" The two started the duel, and sooner or later, Kamiri became Kitari, and took the duel on from there.

"Now, Magician's Messiah, attack with Spinning Light Blast!" Kitari shouted. The light-blue haired magician spun his lightning staff in a circle, and it created a blast, sending the girl's life points to zero. She fell to her knees, and Kitari walked over to her.

"You were great. I applaud your tenacity of dueling." She helped her up, and the girl smiled at her.

"You're awesome! The rumors at my school are right!" The girl reached into her pocket, and handed Kitari a locater card.

"Take this. You'll need it in the future. Well, see ya!" She waved and took off, running to her won group of friends. Kitari switched again, and Russet ran over to her.

"Wow! Got you're first key card already! You're a champ, Kamiri!" The short girl blushed in embarrassment.

"I'm not THAT good, Russet." The ginger girl grinned, and wrapped an arm around her shoulders.

"You're better than most of us! Heck, you might beat Yugi!" Kamiri blushed, and muttered something to Russet. Her jade eyes widened, and she sent a playful glare at Kamiri.

"Now 'dat's not funny, Kamiri! I DON'T like him!" Kamiri smiled, and Russet returned it. They went back to Ash, who was waiting patiently nearby.

Kitari returned to her soul room, or…Soul house. Yes, she found out that it was a palace-like house structure, and it was constantly changing. The only thing that didn't change was the room with her crystal/diamond throne. She sighed, and watched Kamiri talk to Russet through the mind link. After their conversation, Kitari pulled out her and Kamiri's deck from the patch on her skinny jeans. She looked through all of it, sorting out the card useful for a duel.

She was busy sorting her cards, until one of them suddenly raised from the pile. All by itself. Her sapphire eyes widened at it, and she grabbed it. She put her deck down cautiously, and let go of the card she was holding. It stopped almost as soon as it hit the icy floor. She placed it down on the floor completely, and tried to see if it was her that was making it float.

She tried to pull it towards her, and it slowly inched forward. Kitari added more frustration, and the card suddenly flew at her face, hitting her in her good eye. She gritted her teeth, and yelped in surprise when a throbbing pain coursed through her head.

/Flashback/

Young Kitari was standing next to the river Nile, using her power to raise the fish inside, and put them back. A boy about two years younger than her stood next to her, smiling.

"What did you say this was called, Khai?" Khai smiled at her even more, and held his lightning staff that was taller than himself.

"It's called telekinesis. You are a telekinetic, meaning you have the power to move objects with your mind." She looked at him puzzled.

"What kind of objects?"

"All sorts of things! Heck, maybe when you grow up, you could move a mountain!" The young magician laughed, but not at her. She joined along, hugging her best friend.

/End Flashback/

Kitari gasped as she was brought back to reality.

"A telekinetic? Is that what I am? And who is Khai? Did I know him once?"She rubbed her temples in a headache. She kept her mind on the 'telekinetic' subject, and slid out in spirit form, wondering what Kamiri was doing. She was walking with Russet and Ash, talking about Battle City, dueling, cards, and whatnot. Kamiri then noticed Kitari floating beside her.

'Hey, Kitari! What's up?'

"Nothing much, Kamiri. Just memories." Kamiri nodded, understanding her yami.

'I see…' Russet perked up, and pointed to a place.

"It's Yug'!" She stated. Sure enough, Yami was standing there, but he was on his knees, and was dueling someone that looked like a Goth with too many piercings. The Goth had a giant, snake like dragon on its side of the field, and Yami was obviously losing. Kaiba was there too.

"Slifer the Sky Dragon!" Kitari said, unbelieving her eyes.

"What is that?"

"Slifer the Sky Dragon is one of the three main god cards. The others are Obelisk the Tormentor, and the Winged Dragon of Ra." Kamiri nodded, understanding that they were powerful monsters. Kitari took control, and ran over to where Kaiba was standing, and Russet and Ash followed hot on heels.

"Yami! Get up! You must win the duel!" She shouted. Yami snapped his head up, and saw the beautiful blue-haired spirit. He slowly felt his confidence rise, and he got up on his feet.

"I will not lose, Rare Hunter!" The Goth Yami called 'Rare Hunter' grinned maliciously, and went on with the duel. Yami ended up winning, and the Rare Hunter talked, his voice sounding like two voices had been combined together.

"Well done, Pharaoh, but I'm afraid your talents won't save you, your friends, or the princess!" Kitari perked up immediately. Was he mentioning her? Yami heard it too, because she saw him step in the way between her and the Rare Hunter.

"What have you done, Marik?!"

"Marik….Why does that…Wait!'

/Flashback/

"Princess Kitari…That is you in the carving. You were a brave and kind ruler over your people, and the carving shows you against your greatest foe, Marik."

/End/

"Marik! He's the one that Ishizu had spoken of!" Kaiba looked at her like she was insane, but she ignored it.

"Yes, princess, you're finally catching on! Oh, and I took your friend…What was her name? Ah yes…Tea Gardner! Oh, and don't forget your firend Joey Wheeler!" Kitari growled in anger and hatred when Marik laughed manically. The Rare Hunter collapsed unconscious after that. Yami walked over to Kitari.

"I suppose you know already?" She nodded.

"Yes. His name was Marik, right?" It came out as a growl, and she couldn't stop her nails and teeth from growing longer. Luckily, Yami didn't see it, and nodded in response to her answer.
