Itachi – HM? A letter from Touga to Kagome..?

Joker… Chapter 8
"Wander into the woods at night, and he will steal your heart." That had been told to wanderers to keep them from the surrounding wooded area, but, when a lone girl finds herself lost and in the midst of a storm, she stumbles upon an empty castle, staying for just the night, she soon learns the legend had been real…for the acceptation of his utter laziness.
…The 'New Deal' (Part I)...
Inuyasha starred dumbly at the letter given to him by his father for Kagome, wondering – wanting to know what was written, and why it was impossible for he himself to read it…
(Two hours before…)
Once his father was out of sight, the young demon wasted no time ripping open the letter to read the inside, "That slimy ol' gezzer!" He ranted quite loudly as he brought the letter inside of his private rooms, closing the door, and leaning the paper close to the candle light expecting to be able to read its words…surprisingly…the page itself was utterly blank. "Ehh..?" Inuyasha scratched his head, thinking that his father had went insane to have him give Kagome a blank paper as a 'letter', "Sheesh…looks like the Ol' Man's lost it," Just as he was about to crumple the blank sheet did he see the strangest sight – A blotch of ink next to a barely visible signature belonging to his father. For a quick moment did his head shoot up in thought, looking away from the torn ribbons that once held the letter closed.
Then, he remembered.
"Don't even bother to open it, my youngest, I have made sure that the letter can only be opened and read by the one it is to be sent to."
Those very same words spoken by his father seemed to now have a truthful meaning. Apparently, only Kagome could open and read the letter, "So the words are only visible ta' her huh..-"Wait, opened AND read?! "But I swear I opened the da-" Looking back at the letter, Inuyasha was taken aback.
There in front of him lay the letter – neatly rolled together, bound by the ribbons once torn by his very claws. It looked just bas it had when his father had given it to him.
(Present Time)
It was the strange ways in which his father worked that had the young demon on edge, and his curiosity was going to kill him if he didn't find out the contents of the dreadfully smug looking letter. He was still a young child on the inside, and being the youngest his curiosity won his mind over easily. Early morning, he would leave his good friend Miroku in charge of the Inn, as he always did when he was going out. Only then would he do the deeds of his father – just so he himself could know from Kagome what the letter itself contained.
Suddenly, the young demon looked to his clock.
It was half-past nine.
It was then from outside he heard a man crying for help, running out of the woods with a young girl in his arms, "My daughter she's in need of help! Please call a doctor! She's bleeding so much…!" It was in that moment Inuyasha knew that the time given off for his brother as the Night Walker was up. In the glow of the pale moonlight, Sesshomaru had once again committed the same evil doings that he must in order to keep his love alive and well.
In an almost twisted manner, the young demon felt a pang of admiration for his eldest, "It's crazy but…He's got guts ta do somethin' like that every night…" Silently did he blow out his candle, "…He's got guts…"

As the early morning sun rose, Inuyasha followed, packing the letter for Kagome neatly in a carrier sack while making sure his room could look as 'human' as possible – while he normally would love to leave his white ears atop his head – a symbol of his demon heritage, much like his brothers markings – He knew that whenever he was going to be in the public eye, it would serve better not to cause any type of commotion.
Flipping the small white ears under the bush of his white hair, Inuyasha smiled as he remembered the excuse given to any one asking of his white hair, "I was cursed by a snow-witch, heh, it's always funny how they actually believe that smack," Reaching the handle of the door, he took one last look to make sure his room as at least somewhat 'clean' and 'human-like' before pulling the handle to make his way into the Inn's main guest room, with his friend Miroku standing at the welcome counter talking to an elderly pair. Catching his demon friend from the corner of his eye, he gave a small wave.
Inuyasha nodded in response, stepping outside and catching a whiff of the warm air before setting out to the Black Castle, "Well, looks' like im' off…then I'll finally see whats' in 'dat letter already!"

Step. Step. Step
"Oh, why hello to you all,"
…
"You may or may not be wondering who I am, yes?...Hn. I see, well, I shall tell you wheatear or not you wish to know. I am known as 'Jester', the story teller, better known as the demon who watches all – for easier reference, just call me Naraku."
"You all wish for me to explain myself? Why am I here? Why do I disrupt this tale so?"
Sip, Sip, Sip, Sip
"Allow me to tell you,"
….
"To explain myself…From Raven locks, to ruby eyes, to deathly grey skin and cut-clean claws – simply put it, that I am your storyteller – the one watching from the sidelines in which none else can see, oh yes! The meeting of the young girl and the Night Walker, why, simply put it, it was my doing, all events past and before concluding to what I shalt say may be the near conclusion of this tale were put together in such a manner purposely. All for the sake of the story."
Clap – Clap – Clap
"Please forgive me, but my time is up."
…..
"Time to go along with the tale, young ones. Let our paths cross once more…oh wait…that's right… they will-"

Halfway to the Black Castle was Inuyasha starting to feel quite…uneasy. As if someone had been following him. Surprisingly so, it seemed that there was - it was none other than a single man in black who was doing quite the terrible job at hiding himself behind a tree and away from the young demons sights, Inuyasha sighed at the failed attempt, "I know that 'cha there ya' idiot!" A moment passed by until the man finally decided to show himself.
"Heh, you caught me," The strange man in black chuckled as he slowly waltzed from behind the tree with both his arms in the air, signaling that he was not armed, "It should have been impossible for any normal human being to spot me from the angle I was at, tell me sir, how did you manage to accomplish such a trick?"
Inuyasha found himself quite unnerved, "Enough of that already mister! I'm asking tha' questions an' you're answerin' em'! Now tell me why the hell you were followin' me for?!"
"Oh I was just searching for new things to see, new sights to explore," The man in the black cloak smiled, the hood on his head hiding his facial features, "So what about you? Where's your final destination?" The white haired demon responded.
"I'm Inuyasha, an Inn Keeper back in town, I'm just headin' out ta meet someone," He turned to face the man, "Ne, what about you? You were followin' me, are ya headin' out through here as well?"
"Why yes, actually, I'm looking for something quite peculiar."
"And what might that be?" The demon now found himself utterly curious (once again) to hear the whereabouts of the strange man in black in which he just met.
"I'm looking for a Black Castle," The man laughed a little, "I've heard so much about a giant castle where a family of demons once resided, but never have I seen the castle before my eyes, I saw you heading in its direction, I on a whim decided to follow – I mean no harm for I'm just a simple traveling man on a journey."
"Hm…is that so," Inuyasha looked the man over. He seemed quite as harmless as he said he was, "Mmm…Kay, just follow along then, I'm actually goin' there ta' drop off a letter to a family member living there with his wife – the family of demons is gone," The man merely nodded his head, taking off his hood to revel his face, pale with the strangest color eyes, accompanied by raven black hair that was tucked neatly into the cloak, "Say," Inuyasha started, "The hells up with your eyes?"
The strange man laughed once again, "I was cursed by a Fire – Fairy," 'Hmm…' Inuyasha thought, 'That's sure is familiar…' "And what of you, Inuyasha? Your hair color is quite odd."
"Cursed by a snow- witch," The young demon retorted, "I never got ya name uh…"
"It's Naraku, nice to meet you, Inuyasha."
"Yeah…" 'His name means 'Hell' huh? I better keep an eye on this guy' Inuyasha's brain already made the calculations about the strange man once he laid his eyes on him.
There was no way in hell that man was human.

"So," I looked Inuyasha in the eye as he handed to me a letter buddle in ribbons, "This is mine?" He merely shook his head, "From who? Did you read it-"
"It's from the Ol' Man," The younger demon scratched at his hair, patting down the white ears; that threatened to pop up, hidden under the fluffy bush, "He was actin' kinda' strange yesterday when he dropped this letter off at my Inn, tellin' me ta give it ta ya an stuff, so here it is and here I am," Sesshomaru; who just happened to be just as curious as his younger brother, too wanted to see the contents of the letter, the curiosity was intensified even more when Inuyasha told him about the letter not being able to be read by anyone but the one who it was meant for.
That being me, Kagome.
Everyone seemed to ignore the man who Inuyasha introduced as a clumsy traveler named Naraku. Though his presence seemed to unnerve Sesshomaru, to myself, he seemed quite harmless. He asked no questions to us all as we huddled into the living quarters, or even acted curious like the rest. He respected our privacy, taking a seat in the far corner all while examining the house from the single angle. Sesshomaru and Inuyasha both were quite on edge about Naraku. Be it because of his strange red eyes or the fact that he might find out about Sesshomaru being the Night Walker…I did not know. All I really knew was though the two brothers kept an odd air around Naraku, I felt strangely…comfortable with his presence. As if he had been someone I knew from before-
"Kagome," Sesshomaru whispered almost tauntingly into my ear, "The letter – what does it say?" I felt his hands trickle down to my waist, his claws making teasing circles all while his free hand pressed the rest of me to his much larger frame – I felt 'something' that turned my face into a blotchy red tomato – did he really have to do this in front of guest?! "Well, Kagome, will you read the contents of the letter so that you and I may retire to our room?"
"Ah gross you sick twist!" Inuyasha yelled…but looked like he wanted to laugh at the same time. It made me happy to see he wasn't as depressed as he was at the time when I left for his father's house.
Taking a breath to relieve myself of the butterflies – which came from the nervousness of reading the contents of the letter, and the anticipation of what was to come once I was done – It was almost as if Sesshomaru didn't even want me to worry about what his father had written, as if to distract me. Taking off the colorful ribbons and undoing the letter, I read in a whisper that only a demon would hear:
"In the dark of the forest, a hunter awaits,
A demon is he, the Night Walker his name,
Kill a mere mortal devour her heart,
The curse from his father last 500 arcs,
Murder for his must for his 'love' to survive,
And now he has met her, his heart starts to smile,
His mind is now made to undo this curse,
But the consequence may be much, much, worse.
…
Now before the tides can come to change,
Night Walker must first come clear his name,
And to the father of the curse conceived,
He must somehow assure him- To beg, To pled,
'Remove this curse, Oh father! Oh Please!'
As the fathers anger awakens with ease,
'Bring death to my love- you want to save yours?
You shameless child know not of my endures!
Remove the curse and go insane- Or live as Night Walker
'Till she sees you inhumane!,
Lastly though, I shalt tell lies, bring forth a reason,
Then shall I decide.
…
And thus the dear demon finds one for his heart,
By killing doomed mortals, By sullying his claws,
He keeps her – He saves her, as thoughts run amiss,
'Will he kiss her?'
'Will he kill her?'
And break the dear promise?
…
Now along comes the father of lonesomes- With a risk,
And a letter of secrets to Night Walkers Mistress…
'Won't you help him? Won't you please?'
Words hiding a message unseen,
'Won't you help me? Won't you please?'
'Remake my new life, and I'll set him free…'
…
At the bottom of the page was his name scribbled with a blotch of ink at the end.
Signed by Inu no Taishou.
