This is an update.
I'm currently writing a sequel as we speak. I haven't decided if I will put it into the Crossover section yet. It's currently sitting in the Kane Chronicles category, going by the name of Time Swap. I also wrote up a one-shot that sticks between them, Everyone Has Problems.
I hope that this sequel will answer some confusing parts involved in this story. I'm assuming a good portion of it has to do with the background things I threw in on the Kane Brothers and their group. If not, I am more than willing to directly clarify them for you if you wish.
I also have some background information up if it will help. The World in the Eyes of Amos Kane is my pride and joy of fan fiction writing. Meeting the Kane Brothers might be of some help too, though I'm not quite sure on that because it's just some OC's and canon characters getting to know each other.
I do realize that this is a poor story. I had forewarned that it was mainly focused on the Kane Chronicles. I'm sorry that this upset some of you.
I did not mean to seem more favorable to the Egyptian Gods. I was shooting for arrogance. The Gods all have a mass amount of it. If you read to the end, you will see that they are equal and originate from one original being, a far more ancient version of the Egyptian Gods. That's due to the fact that Egypt is older than Greece and Rome.
I did not mean to push on that the magicians are 'stronger' than the demigods. They all have their strengths and weaknesses. I wrote it to seem arrogant on the magicians' part because they simply fear the demigods. They don't want to seem weak in fear of the past. The demigods did not act in the same manner due to the fact that they've already adjusted to the other demigods. In the end, all three aided each other to defeat the enemy despite the past afflictions against each other.
I hope that cleared a few things up. If you're still upset with me, then fine. I can only please a few people; perhaps you'll look back one day and realize what I'm talking about. But for now, continue on with your life and don't get hung up on one story that you read on this website.
Thank you for reviewing, it certainly put a few things in mind that I hadn't actually considered when I posted this up. I realize I write some confusing things and sometimes get sidetracked and leave details out that probably would have helped immensely. I'm hoping I can cease this mistake.
If you have some questions about the story, please write it in a review or PM me. I will certainly get to answering it as soon as I can. Thank you for reading and reviewing!
Now I'll throw in a small bit to lighten up the mood!
"Good morning, Smurf King!" His annoying tone echoed in the Hall of Judgment.
Anubis darted out just as fast as I spotted the nuisance. I don't blame him, Set is annoying. I would disappear if it wasn't for the fact that Osiris would get extremely pissed. "Set, for the last time, the name is Lord of the Afterlife." I chewed on my bottom lip to keep myself from ranting.
Set just grinned. "And I'm the Pharaoh of Phoenix's!"
I rolled my eyes, not particularly enjoying the reminder of the Red Pyramid. Apparently the same went for Osiris, but ten times stronger of a hateful emotion than my own. "Why don't you go annoy a demon? I'm busy-"
"I'm going to tell you what I told your brother, Julius." Set patted Ammit on the head. "Demons are nothing to annoying a magician. I also get the bonus of annoying my brother at the same time!"
Disappearing sounds like a good idea now. Osiris finally spoke up in his restrained tone.
"And I figure since I can't annoy my former host thanks to our deal, I'll just do him a favor and irritate you." Set finalized, an evil grin playing on his expression.
My eyes narrowed to that bit. "Did Amos set you up on this?" I snapped.
"Actually, no. You should thank your wife though, she pitched the idea." Set shrugged off. "So, you're busy hu? Looks dead in here."
Silence for a minute as I glared down at him. He eventually burst out to his lame pun. "Get it?"
"How did Amos not jump off a cliff?" I mutter to myself, hiding my head in my arms as his obnoxious squeaky laugh continued to echo off the walls.
