Clash in the Snow Country: Legacy Version
Chapter 32: Doto's Last Stand
(Author's Note) It finally happened. Life kicked me hard and it took far longer than it should to get this chapter written. So those of you still sticking with me after that hiatus, I hope you enjoy the next installment.
On a separate note, the old translating sites I used are now officially defunct, and I've been having to use Google Translate as a result. If anyone has any other sites they use, please share!
The winds nipped at the tired and battered bodies of the three young teenagers, each of them breathing hard and taking a moment to just take in what their eyes were telling them. The 'Sekigan' among them had remnants of the Biju's youki still flooding through him, allowing him to look ahead with two shining red eyes full of life despite the colorful nickname. His jacket and cloak were gone, and his shirt underneath long since destroyed, exposing his upper body to the elements. It was riddled with scars and bruises, especially among his arms and hands, the latter sporting a more unnatural red than the chakra swirling around him.
The Uchiha member among them was known by other names. The Avenger to some, Kizuato to another. He was the sole member with his cloak still intact, though more than half of it was in shreds. He also sported a large number of cuts, staining his clothes, especially that of his shirt. His hands and feet bore signs of frostbite from his earlier confrontations, but he didn't allow any of that to show on his scarred face, remaining as impassive as ever. And while his Curse Seal form had receded, it seemed the effects still lingered, portraying an impressive physique of muscle.
The female teammate among the group had her hair swaying slightly with a momentary breeze. Sakura might have lacked a nickname like her peers, but her stature showed she was every bit their equal. Her body showed signs of blunt trauma similar to that of Naruto, and she also sported a number of cuts mirroring those of Sasuke. Her right arm was especially sore, though not to the point she would have to favor it. Her cloak was gone, her appearance ragged and hardened, though her face at least did not depict any battle reminders like the boys; yet there was an undeniable change about her expression. Sharper, harder. A sign that her innocence was gone and maturity was starting to sink in.
It had been a long, arguably foolish journey. They had lost their sensei. Been lied to about the nature of their mission. Seen people butchered and unable to stop it. They proceeded on a mission that would put the resources of an entire country against them, for a client who didn't even want to be here. They faced the hardships of the weather, the multitudes of its citizenry, new weapons straight from the imagination. One by one, they had overcome those hardships, against all odds. Blow by blow, they made their impact, they made their move, tearing down each obstacle in front of them until this moment right there. Where finally, the big man himself, the one behind all of this -
"DUCK!" came Koyuki's voice.
Oh, you could NOT be serious!
The three members of Team 7 looked over just in time to see Doto's Chou Kokuryū Bōfūsetsu flying right at them. The massive black ice dragon came towards them, its mouth wide and hungry. While Team 7 wasn't so exhausted that they couldn't see it coming, Koyuki's warning did snap them into action as all three of them hit the de-thawing ground, the jutsu flying overhead of them.
Naruto looked up first, his eyes beaming. "HA! Nice try - "
He was cut off with a horrifying explosion behind him.
Dread filled them as they all looked. The attack had not been aimed at them…
…but at the Rainbow Glacier itself!
They watched as over half of the structure exploded in a frenzy, debris and rubble flying out all over the place. It was like a meteor shower from the heavens, fragments large and small flying all over the sky above, leaving behind streaks of light in their wake. A few of the glacier pillars were still standing, amazingly, but the structural collapse ruined their foundation, causing them to collapse on themselves, tumbling over. Team 7, along with Koyuki and her newfound Yuki-nin escort, could only watch in horror as the famous national landmark crumbled, falling over.
And when the last pillar fell, it erupted.
The damage taken from the jutsu, the aftershock of the attack and the added force from the crumbling remains proved too much. The generator, Sousetsu's masterpiece, his hopes and dreams for the future of his country, regardless of his actual intentions, couldn't take it. It exploded in a massive inferno. For one brief moment, one would have thought a volcano had erupted, fire and hailstorm engulfing the entire area. A single inferno that consumed anything that remained.
Leaving absolutely nothing left of the Rainbow Glacier.
And with it, the death of Spring. Winter came rushing back with a vengeance. The cold chills of wind came in force, sweeping over the battlefield. The temperature, which had been climbing into the comfortable seventies, immediately began dropping. Ice began emerging anew, stretching out as if alive. Snow began fluttering down anew, covering the ground as it always had.
Amongst all this, Doto dropped down in front of the destroyed landmark. His armor was bent and ruined all over, a far cry from the shining example it had been just ten minutes earlier. The shoulder areas were exposed, with sparking wires signifying the loss of his shoulder cannons. Likewise, there were torn segments on the back where his wings had been. Doto's left side looked especially bad, with the left gauntlet completely destroyed and his left hand slowly flexing, indicating numbness. His right side was relatively normal, but the most shocking was his head.
There were two large bald spots now. In addition, his hair, which had been a raving jet black, was now sporting shades of gray. The man's face was now a rather tender red with a distinctive scar along the side of his face from a near Rasengan hit. His chin looked smashed in, no doubt from the several hits taken there.
Yet the man's eyes blazed with a hatred that would have made the Kyubi itself proud. A look almost fearsome in nature, all other emotion purged except an overwhelming desire to annihilate those three brats that had plagued him over the course of this day.
"ASCENSION!"
One final explosion of the Rainbow Glacier came along with that shout. And with it, the chakra burst around Doto as if it were alive. His demolished and battered body became more muscular and pumped. It was like a monstrous waterfall; all that water gushing down constantly was an immense source of power.
But take ALL that water at once and THEN send it splashing down was another level entirely.
The Auto-Chakra generators, which had nearly 3 and half hours of stored energy left, were now pouring ALL that energy into Doto at once. Far more than he could safely handle, but much like Fubuki had done before him, he smashed his override, allowing for chakra output far beyond his safety limit. Doto's skin even seemed to turn blood red upon its usage, steam emerging from his body. Almost as if his blood itself was evaporating from the usage.
The man's hands flashed through a chain of seals as if by magic. The black ice leapt up at his command, forming around his hand, and then extended outward. The end formed a point and a razor-like edge appeared along one of the sides. A katana. One that was constantly vibrating, making it more like a chainsaw hybrid version. "Kuro Hyouton: Hissatsu no Ken."
Doto gave a yell as he reared his hand back.
Naruto snorted. "Wow, he gained power, but lost his mind. We're like, fifty meters away - "
He then swung down and the sword exploded outward. It increased in size considerably, going from a standard blade size to the fifty meters Naruto was just bragging about. The speed at which it expanded was equivalent to the size increase, covering all that distance in the blink of an eye. Team 7's main saving grace was that they weren't all in one spot, so two of the three were able to divert to the side with no issue.
The unfortunate unlucky one, of course, was naturally…
"AAAAAAHHHHH!" Naruto yelled. The strike had just barely missed him; it had come close enough that he was actually able to feel it graze across his bare chest, leaving it a very raw red. The torn skin released several shallow pools of blood that could have been so much worse had the blow been mere millimeters closer.
"See, Naruto!?" Sakura yelled as she picked herself up. "This is why you don't - !"
The kunoichi didn't get a chance to finish because Doto was suddenly RIGHT ON TOP OF Naruto, swinging down that ice katana right towards the Jinchuuriki. The Rasengan burst to life in Naruto's right hand as he shoved it forward, chakra orb clashing with the black ice katana. The latter shattered utterly, blowing into countless tiny pieces. Yet Doto's swing did not stop, his hand merely closing into a fist. It slammed right into the blond's head, a sickening crack sound resounding.
A second later, Doto's fist slammed into Gamabunta's head, causing the entire frog to shake violently as Naruto swore he heard a loud 'crack!' sound. "Bastard!" Naruto shouted as he attempted to strike the man, but Doto had already hopped off the frog, landing back on the train with his back turned, seemingly unconcerned. Naruto just snarled. "Hey, Toad Jerk! Let's take this asshole out first!"
No answer.
"... Toad... Jerk?"
This time he got a response in the form of Gamabunta's pipe falling out of his mouth to the ground. To everyone's shock (and in Team 7's case, horror) the frog's eyes rolled backward as he fell to the ground. Like roaring thunder, the entire area shook with intensity and noise as Naruto was thrown off. Gamabunta's massive form now lay completely still on the ground, with Naruto not even sure if the frog was still breathing. Before anyone could confirm one way or another, the entire frog vanished in a puff of smoke just as all the snow summons did.
Naruto himself just stood there, still as a statue. His face was locked in utter disbelief, his eyes white, mouth hanging open. The young man swayed slightly… and then began to fall forward. The red aura about him waned until it disappeared entirely, his left eye closing automatically due to the loss of the youki that had been fueling him. Then the right eye followed suit as the young shinobi collapsed, falling as silently as a leaf in autumn, before hitting the ground face-first right at Doto's feet.
The Avenger was there in an instant, his face furious and his Sharingan spinning, barely maintained at this point. But Sasuke didn't care. He was wielding dual kunai, ready to drive them into the tyrant's skull and make sure Doto stayed down this time. Permanently.
That's when the black ice that had formed the ice katana reformed, intercepting the shinobi knives. In his own moment of sour luck that had descended upon his teammate mere moments before, his Sharingan flickered off, the scarred boy unable to maintain it any longer.
As a result, he was unable to react as the black katana reshaped itself, bursting into a makeshift cloud and swarming over the Uchiha heir. His eyes instinctively shut themselves in preservation as he kicked off Doto's forearm, trying to gain some distance, but Doto had no such problem as he reached out and grabbed the Uchiha by the hair, eliciting a scream of pain from the boy. The Snow Daimyo adjusted his body and hurled the Leaf-nin right at his last teammate, who had had been attempting to blindside Doto from behind, pulling out a section of hair from the young man in the process.
Sakura managed to catch Sasuke easily enough, sliding back a few feet from the impact and saw Doto coming up to them in a heartbeat, a kick aimed at the two of them. Without hesitation, she tossed Sasuke to the side, allowing him to land on a cushion of renewed snow… and taking the full force of the kick herself right in the stomach. It was her turn to go skidding across the ground about 3 meters, her face wide, gasping for air.
Adrenaline was starting to leave Doto as he took in his surroundings. FINALLY! All three of those little turds were DOWN! Now it was time to make sure they STAYED down! He was going to decorate his new throne room with their heads! At that thought, he reformed his ice katana again, fully into its blade. Now who to start with… such a silly question. He would end the -
"NARUTO!"
It was Koyuki's voice. All but forgotten on this field of battle. She stood a fair distance away, hand clutched over her chest, her face full of worry.
"I believe in you! You are by far the strongest ninja I've ever known!"
The Country's saying was that 'Snow was best when it was warm.' The three shinobi were down, Sousetsu's generator destroyed, the treasured landmark of the Rainbow Glacier blown to bits. The cold throngs of winter were gripping their hold upon the land once again.
Yet even amidst all that, a spark of spring had appeared. An icy heart, thawed by a shinobi's efforts and unwillingness to give up, finally bloomed into someone willing to believe again, willing to take a stand.
Kazahana Koyuki, after ten long years of running, was finally reborn, back into the person she had been.
"Change of plans," Doto uttered, his voice filled with hate. He turned from Naruto's direction and faced his niece. "You die first after all."
He stormed towards her, katana gleaming in the sunlight. "Say hello to your dear father for - "
He was cut off by something slamming into the ground between them, kicking up a fair amount of snow and dirt.
Standing there was Naruto, much to both Kazahana's pure surprise. Blood covered much of his face. He was hunched over and his legs were wobbling. His gaze looked more like that of a ghost, more dead than alive.
Yet there was no denying he was standing.
"Im…po-ssible…" Doto uttered out. The man took a step backwards, not believing his eyes. This had to be a hoax! A bad dream! A Kage Bunshin he missed! That same punch took down GAMABUNTA! It shouldn't be possible…!
"Naruto!" Koyuki cried out happily, to the point tears were falling.
Breathing hard, a smile came to Konoha's Number 1 Hyperactive Knucklehead Ninja. "It… ain't over…till justice…" At that word, he managed to straighten upward, standing at his full height. "… prevails… and evil is…" By now, the words in his voice were getting stronger. "Wiped out!"
The boy then held up his right hand.
"Every good story's got to have a happy ending!"
At the end of that statement, swirling chakra began appearing in the palm of Naruto's right hand, building up and taking form. Granted, at a slower rate, and it was more unstable than usual. But it was coming, slowly but surely. His prized move. Recreated by himself, created by a hero, and his pride and joy. His first jutsu that started his habit of creating and experimenting.
The Rasengan.
Doto was seeing that build up, and hastily reformed his ice katana. Rational thought was trying to keep a hold in the man's rapidly breaking down mind. The boy was running on pure adrenaline. He didn't have any actual strength or speed to him. And that jutsu was only half formed and therefore, only half as deadly. It was alright, he could do this… he just had to…
"You know, Koyuki… if you keep praising Naruto like that, the rest of us are going to be TICKED!"
That's when Konoha's very own Avenger dropped down from above, landing right next Naruto. His left hand was blazing alive; not with the Chidori like Koyuki expected, but instead an inferno of flames wrapped around his hand not unlike the Chidori. The flames were a deep red and scorching hot, as if Sasuke was clutching the sun. Koyuki could only smile as the raven-haired boy turned to his teammate, standing shoulder to shoulder.
"You look like hell, Sekigan," Sasuke said, holding up his left hand towards Naruto's Rasengan right. "So just this once, I'll let you off easy and help you."
"Kizuato," was the blond's only reply, though there was a slight smirk on his face. And that's when the two pressed their hands together, combining their jutsu. The merger was marked by a bright flash that illuminated the entire area for a moment as the storm-like energy of the Rasengan pulled in Sasuke's Gouka Tenohira. It fed the firestorm, growing in intensity and power. So while the Rasengan portion provided the fuel, Sasuke added in his own talents to hold it together. The energy of the Rasengan sapped the added strength, utilizing it as its own, thus making Sasuke's Katon stronger.
Back and forth it went, the two jutsu fueling and feeding one another. It started out at roughly baseball size, and then grew to twice that, then triple. It stopped there due to crackling. Sparks flew out and portions collapsed briefly, a sign of the toll upon the boys.
"You guys get one shot," came Sakura's fallen form, a short distance away. She was lying on her back, her glance over at her teammates. Tried as she might, she couldn't summon the will or strength that the boys did, but she'd worry about that shame later. "If you lose, I'll kill you."
Doto's rising panic was not abating; in fact it continued to escalate, seeing that monstrous technique in the hands of those two boys. He tried to tell himself to remain calm. The thing was unstable; the boys were too injured to keep it going for long. In all likelihood, it would collapse in on itself, long before the boys could use it on him. Finishing them off for him.
Though logic told him that, nothing about his mind was accepting it. If anything, his fear was growing even more, prompting him to steadily backpedal towards the remains of the Rainbow Glacier, its fires barely more than smoldering remains than they had been moments earlier. His hands flew through the seals, reforming his black ice katana in his right hand.
The second he started that, the boys took off running towards the Daimyo of Snow. It wasn't up to their usual speed by far… but Doto wasn't exactly in prime condition to exploit it either. The two boys ran across the snow, their footprints near mirror images of each other. The dwindling sunlight from the horizon still managed to shine down on them. Almost like the land itself was energizing them to take those final few steps.
When the two sides were only two meters apart, Doto wiped his left arm around. "Kuro Hyōton: Kokuryū Bōfūsetsu!"
The black ice dragon launched from his left hand right towards the two Leaf Genin.
Right before impact, an earth cobra head emerged from the ground, right underneath the feet of Kyubi Jinchuuriki and the Uchiha Avenger. It threw the boys into the air, just over the black ice dragon.
"Sorry, guys…" Sakura uttered, her hands together as the cobra broke apart. "… that's all I could manage…"
Given the distance and the softness of her voice, the boys, logically, shouldn't have been able to hear her. Yet a simultaneous smirk appeared on both their faces as they cut through the air, coming right at Doto, who desperately tried to block with his black katana. "Katon: Gouka Rasengan no Jutsu!" The two teenagers yelled out in unison.
He might as well have blocked a cannonball with paper.
His jutsu was demolished. The combination jutsu didn't even need to touch it, the intensity of it tearing it to shreds well before coming into physical contact. The jutsu slammed into the man's chest a hair of a second later. The man had no time to cry out in pain, though his face was completely etched in fear, which said far more than words could have conveyed. The figure was sent blasting across the frozen landscape and slamming right into the middle of the ruins.
Another sizeable explosion raked the area. Naruto and Sasuke were sent flying backwards by the shockwaves, the two tumbling along the snow (actually grateful there was something SOFT) before skidding to a stop, looking up at the small mushroom-like ball of flames. Snow closest to the former glacier was already melted away due to the heat, and for one last time, a patch of green bore fruit to the area.
There was no point in searching for Doto's remains.
As the heat died down, Naruto and Sasuke looked up slowly, taking in the scenery. They were almost hesitant to believe it, almost expecting Doto to somehow make a comeback despite that attack. But as the fires died down, the dust settling, they were allowing triumph to appear on their faces. This time, for sure, they had finally -
"What is that?" came Koyuki's voice.
OH, NOW WHAT!?
Grudgingly, Sasuke and Naruto made it to their feet. Groaning aloud, Sakura slowly made it to her feet too. Koyuki came walking forward, supporting an unconscious Kiou over her shoulder. The three genin may have been ready to collapse while standing, but they were still ready for another fight as they came alongside the actress. Without a word, Koyuki just pointed towards the remains of the Rainbow Glacier.
And that's when they saw it.
Gold glittered in the last vestiges of sunlight. Silver called out to the coming night, mounds and mounds of it. Precious gems were overflowing in barrels; diamonds, rubies, sapphires and more than the shinobi recognized. Portions of the area collapsed in further, revealing even more. Crates upon crates of all sizes looked to be stuffed with common, but still oh-so-valuable ryou.
"YOU MEAN THERE REALLY WAS A TREASURE HERE!?" Team 7 blurted out together. The pure shock of it all nearly made them fall flat on their faces.
"… I guess so," Koyuki answered, shifting the Yuki-nin's weight a bit. "I guess Doto-ojiki was right after all." She wondered if karma had a vile sense of humor. Not only was Doto right, but he had gotten so close to the truth. And he was vanquished just moments before the discovery. She turned to the three teenagers and offered a smile.
"Thank you. All of Snow will thank you now."
The feelings of victory began settling in anew, the three of them looking at each other, grins slowly emerging on their faces as they FINALLY took in their victory! Hard to believe it had only been a day here, protecting a caravan of movie producers and actors, fighting off a train with dozens of Yuki-nin, staving off the weather or imprisonment. Infiltrating the castle, bringing down Doto's regime. They defeated the San Eihei, torn down Doto's Loyalists and brought the tyrant down once and for all!
THEY HAD WON!
And that's when a figure landed hard on Uzumaki Naruto, smashing him against the cold hard ground. Standing on top of the fallen boy, wires came flying from the assailant, wrapping around the Uchiha several times and pinning his arms to his sides. Electricity flowed down those wires, shocking the young teen quickly. He gave a yell as he collapsed to his knees barely conscious. The figure's head turned in Sakura's direction and spat out a very familiar slime towards the kunoichi. It covered her from head to toe in an instant as she fell on her back, now stuck in place on the ground.
Koyuki dropped Kiou's unconscious form in fright, taking a few steps back.
"Oh, don't go now, Princess."
"You're…" Koyuki said, hardly believing her eyes. The man standing before her wore a baby blue long-sleeved shirt with a blue blazer over it. Light black wool pants and accompanying shoes were also seen. The man had short grey hair with a sizable beard and mustache with a slim ponytail. Small glasses decorated his face.
"You're about to see the grand finale!" Asama Sandayuu declared.
And so Doto falls at last! ...only to be replaced with another headache. Anyone remember Bakeru? Yeah, he's still around and kicking, and was Sandyuu the entire time! And being a darn stick in the mud, robbing Team 7 of their long-awaited victory over Doto! How dare him, striking Team 7 when they're weak and exhausted! It's almost like he was waiting for that! Oh, right, villain. He's not supposed to play fair.
That being said, we'll cover the whole 'I was Sandayuu' portion next time around. What I will say here was that yes, that was the plan from the very beginning and that there were plenty of clues towards this revelation throughout the story. I'll go ahead and reveal my favorite one right here. Chapter 8: A Warrior Falls.
Kakashi nodded at Naruto's handiwork. "Fall back, Naruto. I'll cover you."
"Hai" was the reply as Naruto took off. He quickly created two Kage Bunshins to help him get Yukie/Koyuki and Sandayuu (who was currently fumbling something in his hands but he didn't give it a second thought) onto the ship as they were the last ones on the iceberg now.
Do note that Sandayuu is 'fumbling something in his hands' right here. Right at the same time that mysterious Ice Jutsu ensnares Kakashi's feet a few paragraphs later and 'prevents' him from escaping. Hand seals anyone? Heh.
But let's put Bakeru aside and talk a little about that victory. I made the decision early on to not use the Rainbow Rasengan for this story for a couple of reasons. First, while I'm not opposed to Rasengan variations, I do rather dislike the one shot versions, most notably seen in the movies (Crescent Moon Rasengan, I'm looking at you!). Though admittedly some of those are better than others. The one with Shion was pretty dang neat.
But more importantly, I didn't want this to be just Naruto's victory. The whole premise of the story is that of Team 7. All three of them. Coming together as a team, working out their issues, settling up, coming to an understanding with one another. All of that accumulating in their tag team on the big bad Doto himself. Sure, I could have probably used the Rainbow Chakra on Naruto and Sasuke's jutsu (even briefly considered it, that was the original justification on how it remained stable despite the two's conditions), but I wanted it to be something more unique to them. Something that could, likewise, grow with time and be utilized again.
Of course, that still left Sakura with the short end of the stick, but I wanted her to do something on the final blow, hence how she got the support element. Maybe next time we can work her into a BIG FINISHER as well.
That decision ultimately led to the destruction of the Rainbow Glacier. Take that out, and no Rainbow Chakra! Easy! Truthfully, another factor to that was that I wanted to give Doto something of a success, given all the time, effort and development I put into him in this story. I rather like the idea myself, a very symbolic reminder for the Snow Country. Doto may be gone, but his influence and actions will still remain behind, much like how winter will remain behind on Snow. So sorry, Legacy Fans, no Spring Country here!
The treasure at the end, though? That was all Tellemicus' idea! A certain cruel irony that Doto was right, was so close… and never knew it. It also helps balance things out for Koyuki and the country in lieu of 'spring' coming; they still have a means for a fresh start and a new future as they try to step out of Doto's regime's shadow.
On another note, those of you that remember the Big Brawl back in Chapter 17 with Doto's KO of Gamabunta, I deliberately put that in because I had the scene with Doto doing the same to Naruto planned out from the near beginning. I like powerups as much as the next guy, but I also like the opportunity to show the guy just going on pure guts and determination. And it was SO satisfying to finally reach that point!
Offer your best prayers, wishes, good luck, and anything else that I can get the next chapter out considerably faster than this effort!
Ascension (No translation here, I like it just like this!)/ An override maneuver for Doto's Auto-Chakra Generators, transferring all that stored power into him at once. It drastically increases Doto's power, strength, speed and endurance, though it will wreak hell on Doto's body afterwards. Due to the damage his armor has taken, he had to tinker with it to make it work. Had Team 7 not defeated him, odds are the Ascension process would have blown him to smithereens anyway.
Kuro Hyouton: Hissatsu no Ken-Black Ice Style: Certain Kill Sword./ Doto's most reliable jutsu. The black ice takes the form of a standard katana. Just as Black Ice Style is unnaturally unstable to begin with, Doto uses this attribute as the basis of his jutsu, increasing the sharpness element even further. This also allows him to expand the katana to various lengths and forms as long as it keeps the same relative surface area as if he tries to add more, it'll likely fall apart. This means that the thinner and longer the blade becomes, the sharper it also becomes. The trade off is that it also becomes proportionally fragile, making it easy to destroy if properly countered. (High B-Class Ninjutsu) (Kazahana Doto)
Katon: Gouka Rasengan no Jutsu-Fire Release: Hellfire Rasengan/A 'parent' version of Sasuke and Naruto's Faiatama Rasengan. This various is far more powerful for two prime reasons. The first being that the chakra is being heavily manipulated into a specific shape for a specific purpose, the second is the explosive part of the fire being compressed into the center of the jutsu. The true power is only when the circling chakra is released. When that happens, it not only blows the enemy away, it also surrounds him completely in a fiery bath. Because the fire is combined with the circling chakra as well, it makes for some very serious burns on the victim. Unless the victim has a VERY HIGH tolerance for pain and burns or is wearing moderately protective clothing, it is a guaranteed one-shot death-hit. (High S-Class Ninjutsu) (Uchiha Sasuke and Uzumaki Naruto)
It should also be noted that due to Naruto and Sasuke's weakened state, they weren't able to utilize this jutsu to its full potential, only managing about a third of its completion. However, even at a third of its prescribed power, that's still more than twice that of the Faiatama Rasengan.
Faiatama Rasengan-Fireball Rasengan/ A hybrid combo between Naruto and Sasuke utilizing the Faiatama and Rasengan. Both boys push their jutsu together, forcing the Rasengan to absorb the Faiatama. The spiraling energies of the Rasengan manage to contain the Katon and radically increases the destructive force to the equivalent of fifty exploding tags. However, it takes the combined efforts of both Naruto and Sasuke to maintain it even for a moment, or else it will explode right in their faces with deadly results. Due to its unstable nature, they are able to throw the Faiatama Rasengan. It will only last for about five seconds before it implodes on itself. (Low S-Class Ninjutsu)
Included for reference purposes.
Katon: Gouka Tenohira-Fire Release: The Palm of Hellfire/Sasuke's first original attack ninjutsu, a combination of the Katon: Faiatama and the Chidori. He concentrates the fires of a standard Faiatama into one palm before compressing the fire into a tiny bead of light and heat. The Gouka Tenohira has two possible attack uses. It can be used to blow any enemy away (regardless as if it's handheld or thrown) with a concentrated blast of fire caused by the explosive properties of fire. And it can also be used like the Chidori: if he's traveling fast enough, he can potentially burn and/or melt his way through anything that he desires. However, because he's holding a ball of fire, he suffers similar damage as his target. Though this makes the Gouka Tenohira as dangerous to Sasuke as his opponent, he is able to partially shield himself by putting up a layer of chakra over his hand. B-Rank Ninjutsu (Sasuke)
Included for reference purposes.
Raiton: Denki Mahi Net-Lightning Release: Electric Paralysis Net/ A lightning attack designed to target the body's muscles and nervous systems, rending them numb and the victim immobile. As it's an intended capture technique, one needs to be able to grasp the condition of the target and utilize precision on the voltage used to allow for immobilization, but also to prevent permanent damage to the victim's body. (Mid C-Class Ninjutsu) (Bakeru)
I do not own Naruto. It belongs to Masashi Kishimoto. Also, any jutsu that Tellemicus created that are used in this story belongs to him. Big thanks to Paintball-Gamer for beta reading this!
