I know, I know. I've been gone for such a long time. But this time I have a valid excuse. So we all know that the holidays are over and it's time to get back to work and school. I have now come back with a new chapter and I hope I do not disappoint you. I love writing this story and writer's block has also been a contributing factor in my absence. Anyway, I hope you enjoy this chapter.

Disclaimer: I do not own Sonny with a Chance

Sonny's POV

'Finally', I thought to myself, 'off that bus.' We had finally made it to the resort. I was so excited that I hurriedly climbed off the bus and ran straight for the door until- "Hey, Sonny! We know you're excited to be off the bus, but who's going to carry your luggage?" shouted Tawni tapping her foot impatiently on the ground. "Sorry", I said trudging myself back to the bus. I picked up my luggage and we all headed inside. "Oh…my…gosh…", Tawni squealed, " this is the most fabulous thing I have ever seen. Well, besides me of course." Tawni was right, the place was fabulous. There was a great big chandelier in the middle of the lobby ceiling, all the décor had seemed to be picked out by one with exquisite taste, and the bellboys were dressed in swimwear that showed off how well they looked.

I let my jaw drop in awe. I had to visit resorts more often. Being a small town girl in a big city is one thing, but this huge resort with the amazing beach put the ones in Hollywood and Wisconsin itself, forgive me, to shame. While I was taking in more of my surroundings, I saw this really cute guy in a Hawaiian shirt and some shorts. He had messy black hair that looked natural on him, but would look like other guys worked on it in the mirror to get it just right. My jaw dropped even further. I tried to inconspicuously search for a name tag, but to no avail.

I guess he felt someone staring at him because he turned in my direction, saw me gaping, and gave me a wink. I felt my heart melt.

Immediately, I scurried toward the elevators while yelling to the others, "Come on, guys. Let's hurry up with the luggage so that we can hit the beach."

Chad's POV

As I stared down at mouth gaping Sonny, I just couldn't help but smirk. If she spent more vacations in places like this instead of going to Wisconsin, then maybe she would be used to it.

I stopped smirking as soon as I saw what she was gaping at. Across the room, in a hideous Hawaiian shirt, stood some guy at the check-in desk, with hair he obviously worked on in the mirror to get perfectly messy, talking to, probably flirting with, a woman behind the desk.

Then he turned around and winked, winked, at my Sonny. Of course Sonny isn't the type to fall for things like that, but I was wrong. She practically looked like she would burst with joy. That's it, I guess I have to put Phase II into action. But before I could get a word out, Sonny bolted toward the elevators, grinning like a fool, and yelled for us to hurry up.

As soon as we got off the elevator, I made my move. "So, Sonny", I said in my most charming voice, "that suitcase of yours looks pretty heavy. Do you mind if I carry it for you?" "No, Chad. I don't mind. Thank you, you're so sweet." "My pleasure milad- I mean Sonny". When I looked down at her suitcase, I saw that mine and hers looked exactly alike. I hope there is not a mix up. (A/N- It's pretty obvious what's going to happen next) while I pondered this, Tawni came strolling down the hallway, heels clicking despite the carpet flooring. She grabbed one of the suitcases from out of my hand with one of her hands and grabbed Sonny's wrist with her other hands.

"Hey, I was about to carry her-"

"Shut it, Falls. Come on Sonny, let's go pick out a room we can share.

Sonny didn't seem to protest, so Tawni just dragged her away down the other side of the hallway. Phase II, fail.

Sonny's POV

Chad was being such a gentleman by carrying my luggage. He's seemed to change. Not the arrogant, narcissistic idiot he portrays himself to be. But then all of a sudden Tawni grabbed me by my wrist and my suitcase, and at first started strolling down the hall.

She leaned into me and whispered in my ear, " We need to talk". Then she turned her head, looked left and right, and as soon as she decided that the coast was clear she sprinted down the hallway with me in tow. Poor Chad, just left there in the middle of the hallway. (A/N- To those who are wondering, they are on the third floor)

Tawni chose a room, unlocked it with a key, shoved me inside, and locked the door behind her.

"What's with you and Chad", she asked with a quizzical look; putting her hand on her hips. I stood up, brushing myself off. "Nothing, Tawni. Chad and I are just friends and nothing more". "Good, cause the lady at the front desk told me to give this to you", said Tawni holding out stationary paper.

When I took it from her hand, I caught a whiff of vanilla. The note on the paper said:

Dear Ms. Monroe,

You have the most beautiful eyes I have ever seen. When I first laid eyes on you, I thought to myself, 'Wow, now there's a girl who'd sure make a guy excited about living'. Meet me on the beach at midnight for a late picnic.

Love,
Your secret admirer

"Awww, he is so sweet." "I knowwww', said Tawni. I wonder who this secret admirer of mine is. I hope it's the same guy I saw when we first got inside the hotel. I can't wait for our late night picnic.

Unknown POV

"This is going to be so great", I said to myself, "a romantic dinner with the cutest girl in the hotel." "Now to add some flavor, let's put this in', I said while pouring a clear liquid into the food. With a sly grin, I said, "She won't know what hit her."

Sorry if I didn't reveal the mystery guy's identity in this chapter. As I was writing it, I got an idea so I thought I would save the unveiling for the next chapter. Thank you all for keeping up with this story and for all the support you all are showing. The next chapter will be up soon. Also does anyone know if a person can make one chapter a different rating from all the others? I might make the next chapter rated T,but it depends. Until next time.
